He's Got That Dawg in Him! - Meet Spencer Pattison, Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Down East BirdDawgs
Spencer is an up-and-coming radio broadcaster for the Down East BirdDawgs in Kinston, NC. Spencer was with the Sherman Shadowcats in their inaugural season, which is how we met. I'm honored to have Spencer join me to catch up and learn about his love of sports and quick ascension into professional baseball.

This episode begins with the beginning of a phone call complaining about a broken bird dog. Shout out to Phil Stone and Brent Douglas, longtime radio hosts in Tulsa who pranked unsuspecting callers with the Roy D. Mercer character. Both hosts have since passed, but the humor of Mercer and the regionally famous question, "How big a boy are ya?", will live on forever.
Music - "Boy and a Bird Dog" by Colby Acuff.
