The best entrepreneurial advice isn’t usually found in books.

It’s found in the people who have actually built businesses.

Over the course of Season 6 of A Founder’s Life, we sat down with founders who have built companies from scratch, overcome incredible setbacks, scaled across industries, and learned lessons that only experience can teach.

In this special episode, we’ve pulled together some of the most powerful moments from the season.

You’ll hear why:

* Your mindset is your biggest competitive advantage.
* Balance isn’t about doing less, it’s about knowing when to step back.
* Confidence often comes before success.
* The hardest seasons create the strongest founders.
* And sometimes the best advice is simply… don’t quit.

Whether you’re building your first company, leading a growing team, or looking for your next breakthrough, these conversations are packed with practical wisdom you can apply immediately.

Hi everyone, I'm Leo Gestetna and welcome to A Founder's Life. This is a quick recap of some of my favourite moments from Season 6 nobody is a multitasker. I'm a unitasker. I focus on one thing and I get kind of deeply into that one thing. And there's some science to back this up that says that nobody is a multitasker. There's no such thing as multitasking. You're just switching tasks really quickly if you think you're multitasking. But I came to that early because I really am bad at multitasking. So it sounds like I wouldn't get much done because I'm doing one thing before I do another thing. But I'm actually really, really productive. Most people who know me will say that I get more done than the average person. but it's inherently not balanced in any given moment because I am not, you know, juggling all of these things in the same instant and one thing I do is step back and look at my calendar and kind of time blocks so that the things that are important to me all have places on my calendar Your mind is the greatest enemy when you do business, right? Because you need to convince them first before you convince the other person to create value. So you need to be very focused what your mind is doing to you so you can succeed. Because when you manage your mind and have some kind of growth mind, growth path, there's no one can stop you. And you don't wanna be stopped. Because you're not, in that case, you're in the moment that what we call flow, and then you bring people with you. And then you go on. So manage and understand your mind and how your mind react in moments of stress, happiness, calm. And what is one piece of advice that you would give to an aspiring entrepreneur? Keep your circle small. Okay? You have big things to do. Don't let others dissuade you from doing them. That journey is not going to be easy. can people tell you, that's not possible or why are you doing that? They don't understand. Right? And the best entrepreneurs are the ones that don't listen to the negativity and just go ahead and do. Believe in yourself. Just do it. I'll follow what Nike said since, you know, I am an advertising major I don't think people have enough confidence in themselves. I always feel like I can do anything. It just depends on how much I want it. And it's a combination of aptitude and attitude. Most of us have the aptitude, but do we have the attitude? Are we really going to work as hard as you need to work to get what you want to get? So it's all about prioritizing and figuring out and having belief in yourself. No excuses, just having belief in yourself that you can do it. It was a bit of a wake up call that if I want to have something that I'm proud of in life, I get to create it. I get to choose what that looks like. I think the car accident was where I realized that I was kind of getting a second chance at life. And I wanted to do something meaningful with that opportunity. I want to have something that I'm proud of in life, I get to create it. Another pivotal moment was, of course, having my children. that really gave me a different level of purpose. And what's one piece of advice you would give to an aspiring entrepreneur? Don't quit Push, you're gonna wanna quit. There's gonna be a lot of opportunities that you'll have to quit and it's gonna be easy to quit, but the hard thing is to keep going. believe in yourself and keep going and learn. Because if you keep failing and you're not learning, then there's something wrong. So learn, don't quit. If you missed any episodes, this is your reminder to go back and catch up.
