In this episode we sit down with Rhema Jordan Labbe, a homie from DC that's is providing a creative space for folks to gather, enjoy a beautiful experience, and connect with other folks who enjoy coffee and the arts. In 2020, Jordan began a pop-up series during the pandemic that served as an improvised gathering place to share their love for pour-over coffee and experiences in art and design called Roots&Rivers. Roots&Rivers has since developed into an experiential studio and creative home that curates intentional space for community. R&R hosts monthly gatherings and curated experiences in specialty coffee, design and collective expression.
In this episode Jordan talks about the connection they have to specialty coffee, hospitality, and creativity. I had the pleasure of attending a coffee cupping session at Roots&Rivers Studio a few weeks back, Jordan and their studio made me feel the kindness and intentionality that I seek in a memorable experience.
Follow Jordan and her journey! on Instagram, check out the events, book an appointment and pull up to the studio for a special intentional experience.
