What up homies!? In todays episode we take you back three months to Houston, Texas where the 2026 US Coffee Roasting Championship was taking place. This year I had the pleasure of coaching a good homies, Jason Kelloway from Social Grounds Coffee Roasters out of Jacksonville, FL. When I started this podcast I always said if we ever had some white coffee homies on Jason Kelloway and Michael Mathews would be the first ones on and soon you will learn why.
This episode was my first time recording again in 2026. I was in a funk, and Jason was the catalyst to bring me out of it. We'll get into that in another episode. The episode is short and somewhat incomplete. We lost track of time and actually had to dip out and head back to the competition for Q&A. A part two and three is very necessary.
For now please enjoy the conversation we had in Houston while at Blendin Coffee in Sugarland, TX.
