My Maasai Journey Episode 1
If there is one thing that a lack of fresh drinking water, electricity, internet and even a kettle proves, it is that Perseverance Pays! Waiting days to find signal to upload this podcast episode, after many attempts where signal always dropped out - way hey here we go! Recorded under a tree beside a Maasai goat herder home who runs a community school which local children walk for hours along barren hills to visit. Hear about the first days of my journey visiting Kenya to spend time with traditional Maasai indigenous peoples. Sometimes very brief breaks occur during the recording due to intermittent signal, swarming flies etc. This is the first of several episodes as I learn about traditional Maasai folklore, life and medicine paths so stay tuned for more. If tech allows that is. Don't worry, be happy, and be grateful for the little things you sometimes may hardly notice.
