Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to the Brighter Podcast, and my name is Batsheva,
Chelsea:My name is Chelsea,
Batsheva:and my days are so much brighter thanks to Chelsea.
Chelsea:and my days are so much brighter thanks to Batsheva.
Batsheva:And we are so happy and excited to welcome you to Episode 7, the topic of which is so near and dear to our hearts because we just went through it.
Chelsea:Today we're going to be talking about whether an extended fast is right for you. Maybe three days, maybe five days, maybe seven days, or even beyond if you are a fasting guru.
Batsheva:And before we get into the episode, we want to make sure to all arrive in this wonderful digital energetic space that we are sharing together. So let's do that by taking together three calming, centering breaths. So go ahead and through your nose, breathe in calm, quieting energy. And breathing out, anything that's ready to go, let it go. Second breath, breathing in calming, quieting, soothing energy. Breathing out anything that wants to go, let it go. Third breath, breathing in loving, soothing energy. Breathing out. Whatever's ready to go. Let it go. Awesome. Welcome. Welcome. So Chelsea and I just not even two weeks ago, survived and thrived in various degrees after completing a three day water fast in my case. And in Chelsea's case,
Chelsea:A seven day water fast, which is my longest fast to date.
Batsheva:and is freaking insanely incredible. I am bowing down to you.
Chelsea:. quote the journey.
Batsheva:And the way both of us got into this whole crazy escapade and we roped in my sister, Chelsea's husband, and one of Chelsea's friends was because Chelsea had the good fortune to come upon a podcast.
Chelsea:Yes. the know thyself podcast with Andre, I love his podcast. He. is amazing at interviewing. And also he just has the most interesting guests on there. it's all about health, spirituality, wellness, you know, elevating yourself and bettering your life and those around you. And so I had been seeing Dr. Mindy Pelz information on my Instagram and some other friends had shared things in regards to fasting and diet and female cycle. And so I had been, she'd been on my radar. And then whenever I saw her on the know thyself podcast, I thought, Oh, I'm going to give this a listen after listening to it hearing all about not only fasting, but her take on menopause, which is going to be her next book. I was really excited to share that portion with some people Batsheva being one of those. And, everyone seemed to love it. before I knew it, they were ready to jump into the fast.
Batsheva:Exactly. And I actually am very, very picky when it comes to podcasts. I cannot bear to listen to something that doesn't feel soothing, comforting, inspiring, interesting. I have a high bar when it comes to podcasts for whatever reason. this podcast that Chelsea shared with me, the Know Thyself Podcast interview with Mindy Pelz, highly recommend. Just lit me up in every direction, inspired me, informed me, and I immediately shared it with my older sister, who she and I are on a podcast together. Parallel paths in many ways, spiritually and health wise, she lives on the East Coast. You may remember in our very first episode, she was the one who I asked if she'd ever heard about Vipassana because I knew she did a lot of yoga and it sounded like Shavasana to me. and I had already told Chelsea, I didn't think I wanted to do the longer fast right away because I have a lot going on right now with all my kids in school and my Older son in work and trying to get into college. And I have a whole lot going on and I thought, well, I would love to do what Mindy is recommending this twice a year, three day fast water fast, but now it's not the right time, but when I told my sister about it, she just took the bull by the horns and she went online, found out that Mindy was starting her fast and inviting basically all her millions of followers to do it with her at the same time, this three day fast. And my sister's like, well, I'm going to do her fast. And I was like, wait, what? I'm like, wait, okay, if you're doing it, I'm definitely doing it too. Like I'm the younger sister, you know, I'm like not going to let my older sister do something cool without me. And then I told Chelsea and
Chelsea:Yeah, jumped right on board, roped Hunter, my husband, into doing it. And then, one of our newer friends, his name's Joe, he has been all into all the things and so including him and he jumped right on board. It was his first fast ever. , and it was kind of very quick because it was starting on January Six, then I think, I don't remember if it was the third or the second, whenever I shared it with you, but it was within a couple of days long enough for us to get the supplies together, which was a whole new avenue for me. I had done fasting before. I had done a five day fast. Before going out to do a breathwork event in California, I had done a five day cleanse a couple of times. I'd done a three day fast. My husband and I were doing like once a week fasting for like 36 hours. We would eat dinner like on Wednesday night and then we wouldn't eat at all until like Friday breakfast. So I had been in the fasting. realm. and yeah, but I hadn't actually ever done just a water fast, which was something that was very interesting to me because Dr. Mindy Pelz talks about the water fast. And to me, that just meant just water. But then whenever she dives into it and the companion guide that she gives, there's other things that even said like snacks, which I knew were not for me because the second that I ate something, going to want more food. but , it was just really fascinating. I will say that this fast, I learned so much more about fasting and about the body and really the phases that it goes through. So that was huge for me, .
Batsheva:My sister had introduced me to intermittent fasting years ago. she researched all the science of it. And I just listen to her because she's my, uh, channel for all the things scientific and I trust her. And so I've been doing intermittent fasting, which is you have like a small window, maybe three to six hours within each day that I'll eat. Usually it's around five to six hours. And outside of that, you just have coffee or tea, or water. And then sometimes my sister, I found out was actually doing what you were doing like once a week, a longer fast as well. it's very healthy. That's something that I learned from that podcast that Dr. Mindy Peltz shared about how after a certain amount of time, our cells start to regenerate and rebuild. And the story she was telling about cancer remissions, about her own chronic injuries going away, about mental conundrums that she would describe. She said, I'll just throw a fast at it. And then she would find the solution mentally. And I just thought, Ooh, physically, I really want that for myself. and she was saying sort of three days is like, The standard to be able to really get to that place, but you could do longer. And so initially Chelsea and I were like, you know, the girls who are like, have the drive to do the thing the best way and, you know, go the distance. And so we're like, we're going to go for five days and maybe no one else will do that, but we will. I basically was not necessarily ignoring the fact that my son, as I mentioned in the last episode, broke his ankle and was laid up on the couch and I was waiting on him hand and foot. My older son, and it was just, I was very overwhelmed in a lot of ways, because I am a single mother and I thought, no, I can do the fast cause like, it's fine, you know, I mean, I'm just helping him out and, and. I can totally handle a fast and actually it'll be good for me. And in a way it was amazing because it kind of distracted me. And unlike Chelsea, I did decide because of the intermittent fasting to go ahead and include tea and decaf coffee in my fast. And interestingly, I won't do That next time, like I'm interested to do just the water and electrolytes, but yes, the electrolytes and, thanks to Chelsea and Dr. Mindy, I invested in a keto mojo. What is it called?
Chelsea:Yeah, keto mojo. That's me too. I had never in all the fasts that I've always done. I had never checked my blood sugar. You know, I was kind of just like, Oh, what am I feeling like? But really being able to, Measure different things and where you are blood sugar wise throughout the day, you know, cause she recommends checking it in the morning and the afternoon and in the evening, and then also keeping track of, like you said, electrolytes. I'd never done electrolytes before in previous fasts. I had done like some herbal tea. Or , typically in the afternoon, whenever I started to get hungry, I would do a very small cup of coffee, just to kind of curb my appetite and give me a little bit more energy, just black coffee. But this time I decided to go off of that, but she explains how the electrolytes actually help to feed the cells. So then maybe your cells aren't hungry, so then maybe you're not feeling those actual hunger. cravings, which for me was huge, life changing. I used a brand, she has a couple brands that she recommends on her website. I actually went to Natural Grocer and got some drops the brand is Trace Minerals. They're sea minerals. There's nothing else added in there. You just do like two droppers and it's got a little bit of potassium, sodium, and magnesium. I did that two to three times a day per the bottle. You can do like. To four times a day. And then I also used a natural calm, which is a magnesium supplement that doesn't have anything else in it. And I use that at night, which for me was also another huge game changer because whenever I had talked to my naturopathic doctor before about fasting, number one, he was not like, he was like, absolutely no more than a three day fast. Cause I told him I was doing a five day fast before he's like, no more than a three day fast, unless you're under like some sort of supervision or you have like some sort of thing going on. And he said, you know, because it puts too much strain, especially on the kidneys and that it was very important that you're having a bowel movement every day. Well, I don't know about everyone else, but if you're not in taking food and you're just in taking water, it's like, what is helping those to move? Well, I found, so he had recommended before it. self enema, which let me tell you, if you've never experienced that, not a great time. definitely not one of my more fun things I've done. So, but having the magnesium supplement at night, the natural calm, it actually did keep things moving and it was kind of like a transport back to sleep. Some of my nursing days in the GI lab where we would help patients prepare for colonoscopies and they would be taking go lightly and things like this, and you're like monitoring what their stools look like and how clear they are, if they can go back or whatever. And I was just like, wow, I am literally my own GI patient right now. but everything kept moving and I wasn't hungry and it was really just more for me, the, Like loving food, you know, missing food, but in the same breath, it was also a recognition of how food played a role in my life, in my emotions, in me avoiding things or numbing things. You know, some people reach for drugs or alcohol or sex, or. Shopping or whatever, there's plenty of things that you can numb with TV, you name it, you can numb with anything really. I mean, depending on your intention with it. And so it really shined a light for me on like where food played a role and how often and much was.
Batsheva:Well, I do think that it was very reassuring for me to know that you were a nurse for 15 years, like going into this with you as like one of my partners. And I agree that, it's good to have support, like almost medical support. If someone's going to go for more than three days, I think you were able to do that for yourself because you have that background. But it's funny because although I had said to myself, I'll do coffee and tea. I also wanted to do cacao because as I mentioned in our last episode, I am obsessed with soul scription cacao. It's obsession worthy. And originally I thought, Oh, I shouldn't cause it might raise my glucose. And then I use my keto mojo and I. I measured it before and then a half an hour after I drink the cacao and it actually lowered my glucose by 10 points, which can be a really like healthy, wonderful hack. But then I did a little bit more of a deep dive and understood that because of the fats in the cacao itself, it would sort of not be the true fasting state that I was going for and like with an intermittent fast or with this longer fast. So I did decide to forego the cacao. And I was actually, I had not done ever a longer fast than one day, but because of my Jewish life, I, every year fast completely for 25 hours on Yom Kippur. Not to mention there's another fast in the summer called Tisha B'Av, which the deep Jews know about. And we fast 25 hours also that day. And then like, Believe me, there's even like many more fasts throughout the year, but, those fasts. I don't have water. I don't, you don't wash your body or anything. Can't brush your teeth. So imagine like no water, no washing, nothing for 25 hours. So with this fast, I was worried about it, but I'm like, Oh my God, I can drink water. Like I can have electrolytes. Like I felt luxurious. So that helped for me having had that experience. It was not as jarring and crazy. Yes. Like Chelsea said, I love food. I just. I mean, it's so love worthy. It's so beautiful, you know, and nourishing and all the things, but, as a mom, I already had dealt with having to prepare, cook, clean, smell it through those fasts for my little kids who weren't on the fast at the time. So that was also lucky because it can be difficult when you're fasting. If you have to be around food, you know, you might worry, but the truth of the matter is I found for me, and I think this is true for anyone who will fast, you realize you're stronger than you think you are. and then you just, you can even inhale it and enjoy it. And it becomes part of the experience. And like Chelsea said, you start to think about your relationship to it and appreciate, wow, and without it, I'm good. Like I'm also okay. And that's kind of a, almost a revelation.
Chelsea:100 percent revelation, not to mention for me, since I've come off of the fast, well, let's talk about that first coming off of the fast. So prior to this fast, would ask me like, Oh, what are you doing to break your faster to come off of the fast? And I'm just like, Oh, I don't, you know, like, I don't know, I'll be eating healthy, but. I had never really put that much thought into it, but after learning more about how crucial and important is, what you intake, because kind of the whole point is to rebuild your microbiome. You know, you're the, the. The good guys, the people that are doing all the digestion, everything in your gut to get rid of the bad guys or the ones that aren't really beneficial for you. And so as you're introducing these new things, you know, you kind of do it in a certain process so that. Everything is replenished and it is for the beneficial outcome. Well, I, before this fast thought that people, the reason why they came off of it so gently is because their stomach couldn't handle it. And I was like, oh, well, my stomach's fine. It can handle whatever I'll just eat, you know, whatever I want. and so learning the. Steps, which is bone broth or vegetable broth waiting 30 minutes to an hour, then introducing something with probiotics, you know, something fermented yogurt, kombucha, sauerkraut, then waiting 30 minutes to an hour, introducing some steamed veggies, maybe a small sweet potato with like a tiny drizzle of olive oil or some sea salt waiting 30 minutes to an hour and keeping in mind, all these waiting periods are like, How is your body reacting? Is your body ready to move on? Is it digesting that well? And then the last portion of it is protein, plant based protein or animal protein, whichever is on your normal diet. and she, I believe she said, if you want to build muscle, you have 30 grams or more protein. If you want to stay in the autophagy, then you have 20 grams or less, which from my understanding, it is the cells like repairing. It's like, okay, we are going in and we are either repairing any damaged cells that are there because we need everyone to be in their tip shop shape to receive food the next time it comes in, or we're going to be killing off these cells because we don't want our food source whenever it comes in, or what we have right now to be wasted on cells that are not peak performers. So kind of like in a nutshell what I gained from it. And that was one of the big things of doing this fast is like, okay, you know, I think that that was kind of where the cancer patients come in mind or people with other, things that they're having a hard time healing that, you know, you fast and then your body. The cells start repairing on their own. You don't need to be giving yourself anything outside. Your body already has everything it needs inside of itself for you to be and heal and become. Which is really the part about the fasting that resonates so much with me. Because that's what I, you know, like, yeah, of course I love all these things. I love plant medicine. I love breath work. I love all the things that we can do. And also it's like you have everything that you need right inside you. It's just taking the time and giving it the attention, giving it the intention and sitting with it and loving and being not necessarily doing or consuming.
Batsheva:And I agree and, part and parcel of that is making sure you have the support while you're there and being, because we had this, we created this text group with the five of us, my sister, myself, Chelsea, her husband, and her friend. We were the Fasting Five tribe. And it was magical because we were all in our personal journeys for each one of us different. We were even timed a little differently when we were starting, when we were finishing, how we were starting, how we were finishing, what we were intaking as well or not as well as just the water, but that support. was amazing and I highly recommend it. I really don't think I want to do a fast without that because it was so comforting and so uplifting and inspiring and Interestingly, in my case, I had wanted to go off it in the same way Chelsea did in order to rebuild the microbiome of my gut. However, the karmic plan, remember that episode 5? Yeah, I had a good dose of my divine karmic plan. Interrupting my will and my wish from the end of my fast, because I was planning, as I said, to go five days on the third day, I wound up in the hospital because my son's surgery just the day before they said, okay, we're going to do a surgery tomorrow. our Now I had thought it was going to be the following week. I don't think I would have planned to do the fast if I had known the surgery itself would be that day. As a mother, it's pretty hard not to feel quite viscerally attached to your children. Their highs are your highs, their lows are your lows. As much as we know they're their own people, that kind of comes with the territory. So here he is, my firstborn son, in the hospital. I'm there for 12 hours that day. His surgery went really long, but it was, I mean, luckily, Thankfully, everything went well, it was successful, but I was doing nothing but sitting the whole day. Now, I'm on the fast, but I am stressed out. a What else happened that beautiful, magical day of the surgery? The fucking LA fires broke the fuck out. And I am sitting there in the hospital, like what the motherfuck is happening in my city? People's houses burning down. I'm like thankfully. I had thought to leave my younger son with a neighbor instead of sending him to school because I had the fires, I think had just started the night before and I'm like, I'm going to be at the hospital. I'm not going to be able to get him if his school closes early, which it did. Now in the end. I was one of the extremely lucky Los Angelenos who did not lose our house, despite the four evacuation notices, I did get into my phone. We did not ever see a fire in our neighborhood. But, The stress level and the fear and the uncertainty, the karmic plan. Wow. I had some fucking hard lessons that I was going to have to learn and that will be for a future episode because I'm literally had to go through like quite a low point. but in the end, my glucose was dropping, dropping, dropping, dropping. I wasn't feeling good at the hospital and I thought I need to be. 1000 percent for my son, like right now, this cannot be about me and my fast. And, and I was like texting with the, you know, my, the tribe and they're saying, you know, try to get some broth and you like come off. And I was like, there's no fucking broth. Like there's fires everywhere. There's no Uber, like it's in Hollywood. Like, so I went to the cafeteria and I got like, I was like. Oh, give me like some whatever soup. I'm sure there was dairy in it. I'm sensitive to dairy. So I a didn't even want to know what was in that fucking soup because it was all they had. And I just, I had it. I don't even like mushrooms. They're not good for me either. Um, I had to have a mushroom dairy soup basically to come off the fast. And then I was starving and I just wanted sustenance. So I had rice and like whatever fish they had. And I wound up feeling So physically not good for the next like 12 to 20 hours. I mean, I felt my kidneys were just like angry at me literally like forgiving them whatever I just gave them like the only Batsheva: thing I can say is that Honestly, that was just unexpected. I never could have anticipated like that. All of that would happen that my body would react next time. I would do it differently. I would have different things in place that I wouldn't be stuck trapped in a hospital for 12 hours without like, you know, a way to ease off the fast. So I have learned also to. support myself better than I did. And in fact, just this week, one week later, my sister, the warrior that she is, she goes, I want to do a 36 hour fast. Want to do with me? I'm like, okay, let's do it. And I really just did it so that I could kind of like, Redo the ending of my fast. And I this time I had everything in order and I did the thing and I had the soup and then I had the much avocado and sauerkraut, which I'm now obsessed with sauerkraut. And, you know, because there's probiotic and all these things that help rebuild the gut. So I feel back on track. But again, I. I mean it just goes to show you like we have these and I'm still glad I did it and I'm sure I'm sure that it did some good for my body and my mind no matter what even that I went to one of the lowest places I've been to in years like emotionally and mentally like a week following the fast which will be a different episode but but even so I do not Regret it one bit. I'm so happy and I'm so grateful that I did those three days and that I did it with that group. rid Oh my gosh. And I would definitely book and do it again.
Chelsea:Yes, having the group support, like not only is it accountability, but as you said, you know, everyone was kind of having different things. Like for instance, I was able to work from home and to really lighten my physical load as far as like, I wasn't doing my yoga workouts. I was just doing light chi gong, you know, really paying attention to my electrolytes. And how much water and tracking everything. And there's a app called easy fast, which is free. They have some donations that you can use, but I highly recommend that because you can put in your glucose and your ketones and like how much electrolytes you take in and your water and your weight, and it tells you like where you are in the fast and what's going on in your body. It was amazing. Thanks to Batsheva's sister Tara for sharing that with us. And yeah, but having, and you know, and then people saying like, Oh, this is what I'm feeling like, what do you think, or I have this going on and' just like having each other and ultimately. Everyone has a little doctor inside themselves and it knows best because it's the only one that can feel what's going on and have that literally gut instinct of what to do. but it does feel good to get it out of your head. to write it to the group, to say it to the other people, and then to be able to, okay, that's what I just said. And then kind of find your answer, you know, instead of it just being in your head, thinking about it nonstop. So highly, highly, highly recommend having a support group, at least one person that you can share that with. I think it's amazing that Dr. Mindy had like that huge group online. for me personally, anytime that I've been involved in any challenges or any groups, if there's more than I mean, even like 50 people, I feel like it just kind of gets lost in translation unless you're on there non stop, but it's like, you know, you can leave a message and then who knows if you'll know anyone in there or, you know, some of these groups I've been in, there's thousands of people and Do you get to know anyone? The ones that I've gotten to know people are whenever we have an accountability partner that we actually agree to be like one on one or like a group of three or a group of four or something. So, yeah, that was big. The electrolytes, huge. the App, huge. I would say for me, the biggest takeaway and how I have felt afterwards, I know that you kind of shared a little bit about your coming off and kinda dipping down which will dive in too deeper but just as like a little brief was on day seven. So I went seven days, well, six days and 18 hours cause I didn't want to end in the evening time. We started at 8 PM. And I didn't want to end at 8 p. m. because technically, if you time out all the steps to come out, that's like a four hour process that's consuming something until midnight, and that did not sound like something I wanted to do. So, I Came off of it at 2 PM, which there was a part of me that was like, Oh, do I really want to stop? Like, I feel great. Like I had so much energy. I was getting so much stuff done with the business feeling so much clarity on other things personally in my life and just feeling empowered and strong. So it was kind of like bittersweet almost, which sounds. Weird even saying it out loud and also it was exciting and the next like two days. the week before my cycle, which typically is my most emotional and most challenging time of the month. I feel things, I take things, I receive things so much differently during this week, usually, but It feels different and not only that, and obviously everyone's experience is personal to them, but there was a huge shift in me and how I viewed things and not only that, but how I am seeing the process of things now, I will say that. maybe it's not all to do with the fast, but prior to it was like, okay, what can I get done? How can I do this? How much time do I have? What can I cram into this amount of time? And literally since then, It's been more about enjoying where I'm at and what I'm experiencing during that time and not rushing it, not wishing for the next thing, not pushing, pushing, pushing so that I'm, you know, one thing's off the list and I'm onto the next thing. It's really brought more focus and clarity and really just enjoyment and joy. And awareness. I thought I was pretty fucking aware before. And then, you know, you get to another level and you're like, well, I didn't know shit. I feel like it's like my mom, she's like, wait till you're my age, you know? Well, whenever you're 20, you think, you know, it all. And then you turn 30 and then you think, you know, it all. And then you turn 40 and you like look back in yourself and I literally feel that it's like another thing. Like it's not like a 10 year span, but it's like, Oh, pre fast and post fast. Oh, I thought I was so aware. And now I'm so aware. So much more aware. Who knows what it'll be like the next time, I don't know. I highly recommend it. I definitely say, pay attention to what you're going to be coming off of it. Pay attention to what's going to be going on. in your life during that. I mean, as much as you can, plan accordingly, don't try to do everything at once and pass fast. It's been like, okay, I'm going to fast and I'm going to start this yoga workout and I'm going to do meditation for 30 minutes a day and I'm going to do journaling and I'm just like, you know, stack, stack, stack, stack, stack all the things this time. I just focused on one thing and that was the fast and it worked out really beautifully for me. The keto mojo, mojo measuring. which ours showed up late. so we just went to Walgreens and got a blood glucose monitor, which was really helpful monitoring the ketones as an ICU nurse. We didn't even have like bedside monitoring for ketones. That wasn't something, if we were measuring ketones, it was for somebody that was in DKA and we were sending that stuff to the lab. So I hadn't really had a ton of experience with ketones. but having the little finger prick where you can tell where your ketones are and then knowing what role those play was really fun for me. And yeah, the electrolytes, the electrolytes, the electrolytes, the electrolytes.
Batsheva:my sister told us the story about our aunt who's like almost 80 now, but she was an early adopter of vegetarianism decades and decades and decades ago before any of that had hit the mainstream. And she used to fast for health. And my sister remembered her telling her when I fast, I slow. And that's kind of what you were explaining. you started to appreciate the process. And I agree, even that your head sometimes gets a bit spacey from the fast. I so appreciated it because it. Made me slow down. So this is an added bonus and it's not something to be afraid of. It's actually something to embrace and learn from and absorb. So we thank you so much for listening to this episode seven and for joining us on this magical journey into stories, tools, techniques that brighten your life. We hope that this one made your day brighter and we look forward to seeing you soon. On the next episode.
Chelsea:Yes, and if you have any experience with fasting, if you have any resources or any doctors or any groups or anything that you would like to share, we'd love for you to put that in the comments, reach out to us. We'd love to connect and you know, the more that you know. The more you know, and the more that you can apply those different things to your life and your own experience, because like we said, everyone's on their own journey. Everyone's experience is different. So being able to relate and, see other situations I think is always beneficial. Do you want to end with a little dubs for our fasting?
Batsheva:Yes, ma'am. That's right. We're going to share one win, one wow, and one wish as we did last episode. And this time it's my turn to think of a win and a wow from today. And then Chelsea will share a wish. So let me think. Think about it. The win for today was that I went swimming. I actually love to swim so much at the public pool in Culver city. It is my jam jam, but it's sometimes hard to find the time, et cetera. And luckily in LA, the air is clear enough from the fires and my schedule had an opening. And I was like, Oh my gosh, I'm going to have to come back and record the podcast and probably have like goggle, imprints under my eyes. But I took my opening and I did it and I felt so amazing. And that was my first win. my first wow is that during my hour of Vipassana meditation this morning, which I do almost daily, I was gifted with. a vision for the beginning and the end of the screenplay that I'm starting to develop. it's such a gift that I got those images because now with those bookends, I can really start to take the story that I'm going developing and imagining to the next level. And for me, working on a project like that, a creative project, So It's So lights me up. It brings me so much happiness and joy, especially when little puzzle pieces get put together 21st along the way, that it literally did make my whole day brighter.
Chelsea:Alright, so for me, the wish, actually earlier today, I recorded some clips on how to prepare ceremonial cacao, and it was really insightful for me because I had never used all the different techniques to Side by side, like I'd done them like, Oh, one, one day one, the next, but never had, I had like side by side taste and texture and all the comparison, which was huge. And so my, but my wish for it is that I'm wishing that the editing of the video and the final outcome is. Beautiful, it's fun, it's educational, and it's something that all the recipients of the cacao find informational and beneficial in their own cacao journey.
Batsheva:Amazing. I loved even your earlier total, like bootleg video that I got a hold of from you that you made for a friend, because just seeing that was so helpful to me to be able to prepare the cacao in a way that made it really yummy and perfect. So, yay. I'm excited. wonderful.
Chelsea:right, well, I think that that's all. Thank you again for joining us. May your life be brighter and brighter, and we'll see you next time.
Batsheva:See you next time. We love you. Bye.
