SPEAKER_07Episode 100. Man, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears to get to this point, huh?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, how long have we been at this for? When did we start? 100 episodes.
SPEAKER_07Uh we are actually. Um I know that like we don't say the date and stuff too often, but this is about uh uh two years of recording now. In June, uh almost exactly two years of uh sitting around the table playing this game now. So uh halfway point for my longest campaign ever. And uh ironically, the books are about half as long. So uh it's funny to think uh like how much more we're getting out of uh four books rather than six. Uh and like you know, we're still stretching it and getting you know that much story out of it sort of thing. So I guess we're filling it with this bullshit and awkward silences, the ramblings of Kyle, mouth noises.
SPEAKER_02It's definitely a lot more role play in this game than our previous game.
SPEAKER_09I do wonder if the if a Pathfinder adventure series, like if book six ever happens as short as book one just because of counting the dice. You know, like I remember casting spells at like level 16 or whatever, and it's like, okay, I need to roll 78,000 dice, and then I'm gonna add these all together. Just give me a minute, you know? A lot of playtime was just counting dice. Or approximating. We'll get there.
SPEAKER_02Or even finding all the dice to roll.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, we'll get there. Or wanting to wreck on your turn two turns after because you forgot about a feat you got 10 levels before.
SPEAKER_02There's a lot going on.
SPEAKER_07Wait a minute.

SPEAKER_08Just simplify it. All Gardas' feats are now about jumping. That's the best way to build a character.

SPEAKER_08It's awesome. He's got the tenderizer thrown over his shoulder, a keg of beer at his feet, and a mug of ale in his hands. What more do you need? And his meat cleaver clan dagger. That's the oh yeah, yeah. That's retcon, by the way. This is an official retcon. Is my clan dagger is a meat cleaver. So that's that's official. It's pretty fire.
SPEAKER_04I feel like he's wearing boots in this one. Well, what what are the shoes?
SPEAKER_08No, they're like the the ninja two-toed boot things. Okay, okay. Yeah. He doesn't wear boots. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_09And he also has a Naruto headband. It's weird that he's wearing pants, though. He's not. He just has really rumpuly legs.
SPEAKER_02The classic open-toed boots.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. That was like one week that he didn't have pants on for a whole week.
SPEAKER_02I feel like it was longer than it was.
SPEAKER_08It was like seven days of in-game time. How long were you in prison for? Oh, I guess if you count prison.

SPEAKER_08They did torture. Took his pants. Official, what is it, like NATO torture, whatever? Like keeping somebody standing so they can't go to sleep and everything is considered torture. Like keeping somebody awake. You couldn't you can't go to sleep when you're chained up in that position. That's fine. It wasn't about letting you go to sleep. Well I'm sure you slept. Was torture.
SPEAKER_07But I just like how you exaggerated it. I also like how you keep throwing in, like, you know, is Tianja really part of NATO? You know, is Shinman part of NATO?
SPEAKER_04They got they got their own uh Nuremberg trials, I'm sure. They've got their own uh That's dark. Tons of dark to think about. Oh man. Remember, it's not a war crime the first time.

SPEAKER_07I'm thinking about all the terrible things that exist in this world that can translate over.

SPEAKER_07Are we saying like all the playable races have come together to form like a standard for what is and isn't acceptable in war?

SPEAKER_09Oops all skellies. My favorite thing ever is like a level 18 giant instinct barbarian skeleton, because you can have like 35 feet of reach with your weapon and do a whirlwind strike and hit all enemies in that range. Amazing.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, because you can sell a lot of rolls tock.
SPEAKER_02Everybody duck.
SPEAKER_09Just giant skeleton whipping his own arm around with a weapon in it. That's Nito. Yeah. So just in case you ever need an idea, kids. There you go.

SPEAKER_07Regardless of what your GM says, come in at 18th level. Yeah, that's right. That's right. You gotta get have a good time.
SPEAKER_09You gotta get that Titan stature, and you gotta get Whirlwind Strike, and you know, there's a lot of stuff you gotta get to make it work, but it's there for the taking.
SPEAKER_07Can you do like uh ooze morph and get some more reach on that?
SPEAKER_09Not that I found, but you know, I wasn't trying that hard.

SPEAKER_09We could figure it out. Oh I think it's 25. I think it's 25, and I think if your GM will let you add in a lunging strike to your whirlwind strike, then it's another five or ten or whatever. A lunging whirlwind. Yeah, lunging whirlwind in every direction. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Isn't there like a bendy arm mutagen? Can you explain that?
SPEAKER_09There is bendy arm mutagen, yes. Okay, so we can get to 30. And then if you're oh no, you have to be a skeleton, you said. Yeah, because you for skeletons can take an arm off and use it to extend their reach by five feet. Yeah, kappas do the same thing, but in a really gross way. Yeah, everything kappas do is gross. Is there a reach one-handed weapon? Yeah. I'm sure. Let's go see.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. I don't know if there is.

SPEAKER_07You guys seem very confident. I like that. Uh, is your confident going to last for this fight? So last time, you guys are able to save Anko from the tree beast, and he elects to stay in Mirror Lake, much to Gardas' chagrin. A surprising amount of uh uh care, a lot of uh empathy for the first time shown towards a kappa. You return to Willow Shore and find someone has sabotaged your kiln. Someone doesn't want you to cast this ritual. Luckily, with help from the town, the repairs are quick and relatively painless. And so you successfully cast the transmigrate wit ritual, but it almost seems as if something has gone wrong. With the pained echoes of red haunting you.
SPEAKER_02Do it again, keep going.
SPEAKER_07You find yourself in a strange stone room with horrifying carvings on the wall and ugly long-neck abominations. However, these are not the only abominations. With you is an old friend as you remember them. And that is where we left off at the beginning of round two of what I expect to be an extremely dire fight. What is the hero point situation?
SPEAKER_08Uno. One zero. One. I have one as well.
SPEAKER_02Zero. I never have hero points.
SPEAKER_08You need to never earn them. Right. You know what? Hero point to Jeff. Yeah. Joking. What the fuck, man? You can't just say that. You can't just say that. Those are binding laws.
SPEAKER_07You know what? Fine. Minus one hero point to Jeff. No, you can't. Now we're even. Oh, I wasn't- I was subtracting the one I just gave you.

SPEAKER_07Let me take you guys back to this map. This strange room with strange carvings and strange creatures, a light flickering above what is very clearly a ritual table. It was the beginning of round two. And it is my turn.
SPEAKER_05My turn.

SPEAKER_07I am I'm afeard and grabbed. And he's taken some damage and I don't like it. I'm gonna take my first two actions and cast a spell. I need everyone to give me a will save.
SPEAKER_01That's okay. Nice. That's good.
SPEAKER_07Seems like everyone generally did okay. Mm-hmm. Ari?

SPEAKER_07Don't worry, Ari. I've got you. And then I guess he'll just do a standard Kasuri Gama strike on the person grabbing him makes the most sense. Oh, I didn't grab my good D20. Change the 20s. Alright. This is on Violet Box. 34 to hit.
SPEAKER_09That's uh what we in the business refer to as a critical success.

SPEAKER_09Yeah, Violet's got nothing. No, well, I mean she's got a backpack.

SPEAKER_07I want you guys to know that like as soon as I give you that first bit, it's gone. Like I give you that first one, I'm rolling dice, I'm adding numbers together. The first bit is just gone. I'll start writing it down for you guys. We'll track it. One more job. I got this. Um, and that is the end of this big ugly Kagekuma. Let's go to Ari, who is frightened too. SPEAKER_09Except for Gardis, he levels down. The Pope has spoken. Level back to eight.
SPEAKER_02Alright, so Ari is cowering in fear, and she will um play on her drums, and these two like ghostly looking hands reach out towards this uh creepy long-necked hay bale guy.
SPEAKER_07Is this gonna get kinky?
SPEAKER_02Uh no, they just like grab his arms and try to slow him. And I need a fortitude save.
SPEAKER_07Fortitude save from the big guy. Believe it or not, he has pretty good fortitude save. That's a 32.
SPEAKER_02That is a standard pass. Uh you are slowed one for one round.
SPEAKER_07That's not good. He really needs those actions if he's gonna be casting spells.
SPEAKER_02And then she will continue with Durge of Doom. She's like, You're scared too!
SPEAKER_07Uh what's the range on that?
SPEAKER_02Uh 30 feet.
SPEAKER_07So these guys down here don't have it, but he will. So do they get it when they walk into it? Or like at the start of his turn?
SPEAKER_08I forgot. I forgot there were two more guys down there.
SPEAKER_07Two more to the south. Yeah. They're smaller, but just as scary somehow.
SPEAKER_02Enemies within the area are frightened one, and they can't reduce their frightened value below one while they remain in the area. So yes.
SPEAKER_07Okay. Uh, that is Ari's turn, so let's go to Pops, who is frightened one. Keep in mind, Ari, your frightened value is reduced by one. Okay.
SPEAKER_04Pops is going to spark transcendence on Thousand League sandals. And I'm gonna ship that over into Titan Breaker. Uh Kyle, if you would like the Radiant, that's 16 points of health for you.
SPEAKER_08Wait, sparking it on the sandals, does that mean we can move? Yes, it does. Okay. But I I spend my reaction to move. Yes. Okay. Uh and I can move my speed? Yes. I've played this with speed before.

SPEAKER_09Well, that's fine. Yeah, I know it's but why? I don't know. I don't know, even though I don't even know why I'm here.
SPEAKER_07I had the funny thought of not allowing your prosthetic to come through with you. Oh, that was just really me. Can I have a fly speed?
SPEAKER_08It's only there. No, only the only the one leg gets the fly speed. It does the one, so I fly upside down. Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_07So you can fly, but you also have the clumsy three uh and you're vulnerable to everything.

SPEAKER_04Pops' mom. She's a big lady. Uh critical hits on standing on earth or stone, the target is driven down and mired into the ground. The target is immobilized and must succeed in escape attempt and uh against your DC class to end the immobilization. It just happens.
SPEAKER_08Okay.
SPEAKER_07So yeah, he's already. This isn't really gonna change any. I like it because it gives a different thing to it, but he's already immobilized and grabbed, so you can't become more immobilized. But now he not only is he being grabbed, he's driven into the earth. So excellent.
SPEAKER_08His neck is in easier reach. So that's it.
SPEAKER_07He just looks like a wacky, wavy, inflatable tube man with his neck like flailing out of the stone floor.
SPEAKER_04Uh pretty decent damage, so that's 11 plus 12. Um, Brain. 23. Doubled his forty-six. Dang. And I still have an action left. I guess I'm going to swing again. Why not? Why not? Why not? Uh an eleven on dice turns it into a six. Plus 19 for uh 25. Plus one minus one. Twenty-five.
SPEAKER_05That's a hit.

SPEAKER_08Gardis. That was a stupid action. Um, I'm going to cast Bless. Uh, so 13 or 15 feet around me is like glowing. My my tattoos sort of light up. Not really it's it's really dull glow, but within for your win within 15 feet of me, you can you can feel it. And that gives you plus one to something.
SPEAKER_01Pretty well wanna know. Yeah. It's a tag we want.
SPEAKER_04Okay.
SPEAKER_02We already have it. Is it a status? Oh. We have a plus one status to bonus to strikes right now.
SPEAKER_08The all strike saves and skills one? Yes. It's plus one. I don't know which one it is. Let's see. And then for my final action, I'm gonna swing on the big guy, which we are flanking with, and I get 11 on the dice. 29 to hit.
SPEAKER_07That's a hit.
SPEAKER_08Sweet.
SPEAKER_07I don't like how quickly you guys are nuking this guy down. He has some stuff I wanted to do.
SPEAKER_08I'm fine with it. Um, my axe, as I strike him, you can see like this trail of frost as it goes goes into his skin wherever it is. Neck, I said. Sure.
SPEAKER_07Skin neck?
SPEAKER_08Skneck. And that is 11 plus 3 is 14 plus 4 is 18 points of damage. Six of those, or wait, no, not six, three of our frost, if that matters.
SPEAKER_07Thank you.

You recognize it all and none of it all at the same time. You go a little bit further. The Eternal Lantern, as you approach the sight, just makes your heart sink. The light that has always shown that you went to great lengths to turn back on just a few months ago is gone, and the lantern itself looks like it's barely standing. Overgrown, damaged, you eat even the coin receptacle inside is gone. And as you investigate, the image of the large bell during your seance flashes in your mind's eye like a half forgotten memory, and you feel a tug in your guts. The sensation leading you east. Towards Kara High. I don't know if you guys want to take a minute and heal up or uh wait for the floor. Oh, that'd probably be a good idea.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. I'll I'll just do my normal healing snack on some jolly ranchers. Yeah.
SPEAKER_09Can somebody I'm just down like uh 40 points, so a couple rounds of focus spell or something.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'll come healing twice on you. It's 24 times two.
SPEAKER_08Heals me to full base basically for my medicine checks now when I'm doing that to heal, like I can only fail if I roll a natural one. So I pretty much just get the 48 plus 10 points of damage, regardless, when I use risky healing with it. So yeah. It's just it's good.
SPEAKER_07You guys look at yourselves, and you are like, uh, check out our video, you can see a cool image of it there. Like these glowing spiritual ectoplasmic creatures now. Solid. You walk on the earth. Everyone that is except for Pops. Pops looks to be something else entirely. It's like he was at the seance. SPEAKER_07And the other thing I have, which you guys are probably gonna want to talk about, are your new spirit powers. So I have these handouts for you. Uh the book says that you guys get one major and two minor powers, but because uh I am the Pope of Gaming, I have uh assigned you one major power and one minor power. But because I've assigned you one, to compensate for that, I'm also allowing you to pick one major and one minor power. Uh so instead of one and two, you get two and two. Uh go ahead and take a second look those over, make your choices. Uh, and then of course, everyone gets just flat benefits for being uh a semi-undead ghost-like spirit creature in the living world, meaning that like even death and dying is done a little differently, uh, your low light and dark vision is upgraded, so on and so forth. So go ahead and review your new spirit powers, and then discuss.
SPEAKER_04Okay. I was given for my minor power, I was given passion, just two actions. Uh even in death, the flames of excitement burn hot, be it the result of ignited enthusiasm or burning anger inspired by love for another or something more. The chill of the grave can't quench the hero's emotion. You kindle your passion into actual flames for one minute. During this time, your body is engulfed in fire of your color of choice that sheds a bright light in a 40-foot radius and a dim light for the next 40 feet. Your melee strikes inflict additional 1d6 fire damage, you gain resistance 10 to fire, and you gain the following reaction: reactive scorch. Uh creature strikes you as the trigger effect. The creature takes two d6 fire damage, basic reflex save. And then for my minor power, I chose Love. Uh, which gives me uh diplomacy with animals. I get to speak to animals with a diplomacy check. Uh, and if I am within 30 feet of an ally, I get plus one will save and plus two for a loved ally, which um I don't know if I I mean I like you guys. I don't know if I love you guys. Pops loves all. Yes. And then for the first major power I took resist death, uh, your spirit is single-hand single-minded in its purpose to uh even obliteration. That even obliteration of your transmigrated body isn't enough to stop them. The next time you are reduced to zero hit points within the next 24 hours, you are instead reduced to ten hit points, and are exposed to soul degradation. And then for my other major power, I took flight. Once per day, you can fly at my speed for or uh thirty feet, whichever's greater, for ten minutes. That's a good one. And that's my those are my my powers.
SPEAKER_07Keep going around the table.
SPEAKER_02Um, I wanted to talk to Kyle actually, cause um we had been discussing uh chilling paralysis. If you want it, I think you should take it because I it I didn't realize that it's uh melee strike, so I probably won't use it. Um I was thinking of doing dematerialize instead.
SPEAKER_09Chilling paralysis. Once per hour.
SPEAKER_07Okay, well then Jeff, why don't you share what you're doing, and Kyle can make up his mind on what he wants to do.
SPEAKER_08Alright. Um let's see. So the minor power that I was given with a spite. Uh two actions, even if a person was kind in life. The dead have many reasons to spite the living, that is true. Um, but basically, I can point to a target I can see within 30 feet, and they must attempt a will save, after which they're immune to this power. So it looks like they can use it at will, but like I can only use it on one person one time. Um basically just makes their skin break out in painful lesions and unsightly sores that will drain them, clumsy them, and possibly slow them on a critical failure. My other minor power, the one that I chose for Gardas, was obsession. Because he's he's kind of over time, he's been getting to be like obsessed with his uh like with crafting his drink.
SPEAKER_07Little Gardus.
SPEAKER_08What no? Normal Gardis.
SPEAKER_00He is a very obsessive person.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. Um, but yeah, this is shown through with his devotion to Torag. Um, but it's I can uh cast telekinetic projectile at will, which is pretty crazy. At will? At will.
SPEAKER_07Is that a two-action thing?
SPEAKER_08Uh sure. Okay. That's still pretty cool though. Yeah, I don't remember at this point. I think it is. Um, but it's a cam trip. Yeah. Um, and then once per day, I can cast one of the following at level five, which is animate rope, animated assault, which is possibly some bludgeoning damage, and then there's telekinetic haul. This one I think is my favorite. Within 120 feet, it can lift one object of up to 80 bulk, and I can use a sustain action to move that 20 feet.
SPEAKER_07You brought a uh incorporeal violet wagon with you.
SPEAKER_08What?
SPEAKER_07Violet's Violet's wagon. Oh. I should say.
SPEAKER_08So are you saying I'm just lifting him around?
SPEAKER_07Violet used to carry a wagon that you guys use for all of your heavy lifting, and now it's telekinetic. Now it's a telekinetic Violet Wagon's Violet's wagon.
SPEAKER_08Uh then my major powers was Undying Flesh, which gives me uh resist 10 piercing things like I guess we're not fully corporeal, so things like piercing weapons can just kind of flow through me. Uh and then my major power is resist death. So I guess whenever I'm reduced to zero hit points, instead be reduced to ten hit points and get soul degradation. And soul degradation is Oh, it's basically a wound, except we don't get wounds or whatever, because we're not. Each time a dying transmigrated PC would normally gain the wound collection condition, they're instead exposed to soul degradation and must attempt a new saving throw to resist increasing the stage of the curse. So it's like a curse that will cause them to die eventually.
SPEAKER_07The book actually gave us a bit of a picture of Gardas throwing things around like a scary ghost.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. That looks like the one spell that the butcher did. Oh yeah, the Yeah.
SPEAKER_07Uh Courtney, Kyle?
SPEAKER_09You can go on.
SPEAKER_02Um, okay. So I was assigned curiosity for a minor power, so essentially I can um touch an adjacent living target, and my hand kind of just like passes through them, and then I can ask a question mentally to them and possibly get the answer. Um, there is a a will save attached to it and varying degrees of success. I chose delusion for my minor power. So it gives me a plus two status bonus to deception checks, and then once per day I can cast a fifth level um hallucinatory terrain, illusory creature, or illusory object. So I kind of just uh change the reality around the people. And I went with dematerialize for my major spirit power, and I can um once per day I can become incorporeal for one round and can sustain this effect for up to five rounds.
SPEAKER_05Oh, that's cool.
SPEAKER_02And then I was assigned undying flesh, so I believe Gardas has that too, right? Um I am resistant 10 to slashing damage is the type that I chose. And that's it. Coil.
SPEAKER_09Alright. So for major powers, the one I was assigned is resist death. Did we already talk about that one?
SPEAKER_07I believe yes, yeah.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, I got it. Yeah okay, sick. Lots of resist deaths going around. The major one that I chose was um the chilling paralysis. So my unnaturally cold attacks can cause enemies to be paralyzed or slowed. Uh it says the natural cold of your touch freezes muscles and locks joints, leaving your victims shivering and unable to move. Attempt a melee weapon uh or unarmed strike against your target. If it hits, in addition to the normal effects, the target must attempt a fortitude save. Is it like class DC? It doesn't say on my little paper here. Can I pick any of my DCs for them to make a fortitude save yes?
SPEAKER_07I'll figure that out in a second.
SPEAKER_09Okay, cool. Um so, but yeah, on a success, they're slowed until the end of their next turn. On a failure, they're uh paralyzed one round and then slowed one round. On a critical failure, they're paralyzed for a minute, and then they're slowed after that. They can't attempt more saves each round, so um might not last a minute, but that's pretty cool. It's probably your class DC.
SPEAKER_08Like I don't see why it wouldn't be.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, probably.
SPEAKER_07I believe actually it says class or spell, whichever is higher. I was just trying to confirm, but right now that's how we'll play it. Class or spell DC, whichever is higher.
SPEAKER_08Can Violet cast spells now? That's a secret.
SPEAKER_07I want to talk a little bit about uh some of the basic things you guys get. So undead vision, you gain low light vision if you uh or dark vision if you already had low light vision.
SPEAKER_08What if I already had magical dark vision?
SPEAKER_07Well, then uh you can see God whenever you close your eyes. Torag. What are you doing here in my apartment? You have transmigrated protection, you gain a plus two circumstance bonus to saving throws or any other defense against disease, poison, sleep, and any effects that would impose the paralyzed condition. Obviously, you guys have your spirit powers, and then there is soul degradation. Uh rather than uh just straight up dying, because you're already dead, each time a dying transmigrated PC would normally gain the wounded condition, you're instead exposed to the soul degradation and must attempt a new saving throw to resist increasing the stage of this curse. So you do gain the dying condition. Uh and we'll go what happens and if you actually do end up dying. Uh, but when you recover from dying and you gain the wounded condition, you get soul degradation.
SPEAKER_09Sick.
SPEAKER_07Welcome to the last chapter of book three. Now, rather than being haunted, as you have for the last two books, you are the haunts. And Karahi is your target. And you begin the walk east, making your way over the overgrown roads. You come across a familiar bridge, or at least what used to be a bridge. All that's left are the pylons and a murky creek that you can't really cross, but it seems as if someone has constructed a makeshift, really crappy piece of bridge. You guys could probably cross one at a time. Uh Violet might break it all by herself. And you finally start climbing this cliff, a steep incline, and you get to the top of this hill. The furthest you've ever been. This is where you got to early on in book one, where you found that you couldn't leave the hinterlands of Willow Shore. And off in the distance You see the ocean. And on the coastline you see the skyline of Karahai. You take one more step, you take another. You're half expecting for the fog to set in, for you to get confused and turned around, and you continue walking until you reach Karahai. It's relatively peaceful. It's a quiet walk.
SPEAKER_08I can't beacon while we're walking.
SPEAKER_07The life beacon thing that takes a minute? Yeah. When you finally arrive at Karahai, and this probably hits Ari a bit harder than the rest of you. She who has lived here before. Before she got stranded in Willowshore. Karahai is a shell of its former self. It used to be a village that was larger than Willowshore. Now there are only about three dozen or so villagers. And then soldiers and priests. Many of the buildings abandoned or taken down for the raw material. In the center of the small town is this large fortress made of stone, clearly built for defense. It's relatively quiet, especially here on the outskirts. Some people just sitting in a gutter, begging and praying for food. Most of the activity is seen in this large two-story fortress. It's circular. But it's a little too off in the distance for you to really make anything else out. The rest of the town just looks to be a bit of a slum.
SPEAKER_08Like it's a slum or completely in ruins?
SPEAKER_07More of a slum than completely in ruins. Like there's still some places where people are living, though it's not anywhere you like we would want to live. Uh or or I guess them for that matter. Uh but it's highly, highly deserted. Like, again, for every three buildings, like only one of them is occupied, sort of thing. Uh all of them are coming down. A lot of them have been stripped for parts. It's not great here. It's cute.
SPEAKER_09What are you talking about? This place is a dump. Well, I mean, it could use a little cleanup, but it's got a nice fortress.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, but that place looks newer than the rest of it. Ari, is this what it looked like when you lived here?
SPEAKER_02I was just gonna say it's very different from the place I called home. It's actually really sad.
SPEAKER_08Oh, uh, sorry.
SPEAKER_04We should consider approaching the town at night.

SPEAKER_04Why? And Pops just turns and looks at you, and he's just like floating and glowing. Your eyes are glowing white.

SPEAKER_07And you don't have to wait very long. And as the moon begins to rise, Ari, you look at it and it is beautiful. You feel inspired, you feel fulfilled, a bunch of feelings of satisfaction that you can't really quite explain. Stars begin to almost sing to you as they twinkle in the night sky. You have never seen anything so beautiful as the stormy night sky over Karahai.
SPEAKER_02This is so nice. The sun or the moon.
SPEAKER_07It's like the sun. It's so bright and beautiful to you, it's almost like the sun.
SPEAKER_02The moon isn't scary anymore. It's beautiful.
SPEAKER_09And Violet staring at the stars has been for like 10 minutes, just you know, like giant lizard eyes, just full of stars.
SPEAKER_02So I like I imagine that we're sitting like next to each other, just like looking up at the stars and the the moon. I missed our moon.
SPEAKER_09Yeah, it's it's beautiful. Same moon it's always been. Shut up, Gardas.
SPEAKER_04I think you don't know. I think it is time for us to find our way into town.

Following the expert is a truly versatile activity that lets PC who's lacking in a skill or exploration activity have either a better chance to succeed. Oh, there's no either in there. Have a better chance to succeed. It provides a good way to help a character with low stealth modifier. The ore never came. It provides a good provides a good way to help a character with a low stealth modifier snake around. Look at that. They got it, they got you covered. To get a character with a poor athletics up a steep cliff, and so on. Usually a character who is following the expert can't perform other activities or follow more than one person.
SPEAKER_02Thanks to your ally's assistance, you can add your level as a proficiency bonus to the associated skill check, even if you're untrained. Additionally, you gain a circumstance bonus to your skill check based on your ally's proficiency. Plus two for expert, plus three master, plus four legendary.

SPEAKER_09And ruin their trust forever. Throw rocks. Did you guys see the farmer that hired crows to take care of the hawks on his farm? No, but I can believe it. It's pretty cute. He just put peanuts on top of his fence posts and little sh sparkly baubles and stuff. And he kept doing it. And after a few months, the crows started chasing the hawks away when they'd show up. Wow. Sometimes it's pretty sick. Yeah. He's like, hawks have been a problem on my farm forever. He's a chicken farmer. Oh.
SPEAKER_07I was like, yeah, I was like, are the hawks eating the crops? Like, what's going on here?
SPEAKER_08Chickens. Hawks love crops.
SPEAKER_07Yep. I saw this funny thing with a newscaster. She's like, my garden's going really well, but I can't seem to get my corn to grow really well. Like, every time I pull it out, there's just nothing there. And everyone just kind of like stops and looks at her. They're like, she's like, what? They're like carrots, right? Oh. Right there on the air. Everyone saw that.
SPEAKER_04Never been to a corn maze before.

SPEAKER_04I know a kid who could just about burst on eardrums doing it, and he did it for fun all the time. I hated it.

SPEAKER_06A lot of my friends, Jeremy grown up, could do it ever since like fourth grade. Do the four-finger thing and just Yeah. He got in trouble a lot for it. I thought it was awesome.
SPEAKER_09There was kids that had the air cans, uh, air horns at uh school for the last week. That was a lot of fun.
SPEAKER_07I have an air horn. Should I get it? No.

SPEAKER_04Did you ever see the uh the the whistle language? Where the it was uh I can't remember where in the world it was, but uh they lived in these big steep valleys and they made an entire language out of whistles. And it was uh very, very intricate. You could have entire conversations.
SPEAKER_09It'd be so awkward to never learn how to whistle. The worst speech impediment.
