Welcome back to the Intersect Podcast, episode 97. I'm pretty sure. Yep. Is this something a little bit different? This is a little bit different. And I need you to do it. We're all gonna do it. Okay? It's different. Bear with me. Look at me. Shit.
SPEAKER_03I mean, if you're in, look at me, look at them. I'm always in. Look back at me. Now your eyes are getting sleepy.
SPEAKER_01I need you to do your highest squeal pitch. What? As blokes, right? We I'm sure we all can like go low with our voice. We just did it. Yeah. But I want to see how high you can go with your with your pitch.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god. To me, go first.
SPEAKER_01No, you go first. This is what he does. You go first. I need to get you awkward.
SPEAKER_02I've never made a high-pitched noise. Like oh, yeah. Hear it first, folks.
SPEAKER_01I gotta think what kind of vocal cords I'm trying to use. Bring the bring the little nutsack up.
SPEAKER_04What do you want? Just a scream or a sentence?
SPEAKER_01No, no, no. Don't scream. Yeah, just like the highest squeal pitch you can possibly go.
unknownLike pitch.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I don't think I can like if I try squeal. You're trying to get out of it. Just do it.
SPEAKER_03I don't think I can be able to just do it. Thinking. You don't need to think how to how to do this.
SPEAKER_02You don't need to think too. Every time I try to yell, it doesn't go up an octave, it goes down, and now I've got to reverse it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. It's not yell, don't yell. Oh, we're just making a pitch. Yeah. Oh. That's what I just said. I thought it meant yelling.
SPEAKER_01No, bro, it was about to blast your ears on. No, just a just a higher squill pitch that you can do. Like a oh, you can do it a bit louder. Come on, mate. Give it a try.
SPEAKER_02Okay. What have you got?
SPEAKER_01I'm waiting for you to do it. Give it a proper go.
SPEAKER_03I think pitch-wise, I'm kind of sad.
SPEAKER_01This dude does want to get awkward.
SPEAKER_03What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_01Is that not the noise?
SPEAKER_02Bro, that is nails on the jawboard. Oh, try. How'd you do it? Holy fuck, that's difficult. What do you got, Toby? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01You like put serious breath into that. Yeah, you you kind of got to, I think.
SPEAKER_02You just yeah. It's so difficult.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you just gotta alright. Now the lowest. Oh, I can go low, baby.
SPEAKER_00Oh, baby, don't you worry about that.
SPEAKER_02Maybe lock them doors and turn latch down.
SPEAKER_00I reckon if I I I reckon I should be able to. Should we try talking the lowest octave we can the whole weapon? Welcome back to the Intersect Podcast.
SPEAKER_02You actually sound like you're trying to be Adam. It's weird.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, Adam's got a deep voice.
SPEAKER_02But he's also got like a very squealy voice at the same time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's very in the middle.
SPEAKER_02He'll be like, yeah, no, bro.
SPEAKER_01I was just doing that. He's autistic as fuck. Go low. Go low. Hello, baby. You know, try.
SPEAKER_02I don't really know how to.
SPEAKER_03I've never tried to do a hell deep voice.
SPEAKER_01Try again. Why are you so awkward?
SPEAKER_02Why is it difficult? Drop the ball. Just let me let me get out of it. Just sort of sag a little bit, you know. Getting a nice steamy shower. Currently, I'm sitting in a sauna. It goes to like Peter Voice, your family guy. Hiberna. Oh no, what's his name? Joe. You turn into like Hyperna.
SPEAKER_01You know what I found that's hilarious? When I've your videos, by the way, are my go-to eating dinner like videos every single time. Amazing. Thanks. But I've found that when you're like thinking you're like, oh yeah, maybe we shouldn't have you turn into a villager.
SPEAKER_02You'll turn into a villager.
SPEAKER_04When I we're playing with my mate on Discord, he would constantly sound like I make like villager noises. You do all the time. I think it's like when I'm coughing or clearing my, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01You're not coughing, you're not doing anything, you're like, oh yeah, this is let's go into the trial section.
SPEAKER_03It's a very English, isn't it? Yeah. Which way should I go? Hmm.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's exactly oh yeah, hell yeah. I just got this fire.
SPEAKER_04Playing too much Minecraft and becoming a chance. But just starts communicating with the villagers.
SPEAKER_03Oh, December?
SPEAKER_01Anyway, this is um, I just wanted to get the funniness out of the way because I'm gonna I'm gonna go into um question of the week and then into something quite deep. But question of the week that comes from the follower is if you could ask your future self a question, what would you ask? And would you like would you? And what would you ask? Oh, 100%. I would ask a question. Would you? You would. I've my future self. I don't think I'd hell yeah, I'd be asking a question. I don't think I would. Really? Yeah. Damn. I almost like because I would want to know too much. I would like find a super can like condensed question that could answer a lot of see.
SPEAKER_03I'm going straight out of men in black. Was it worth it? How big is it? When do we get our big boy Willie? When does it kick in? Was it worth it? Straight off men in black. Was it worth it? And if he says, hell yeah, that's all I need to know.
SPEAKER_01How far would you go?
SPEAKER_03What do you mean?
SPEAKER_01Like how like if you could ask your future self, like how far in the future would you go to ask that person? Like, would you go super old or would you go like five years in the future, or would you go 10 years?
SPEAKER_0322 years from now.
SPEAKER_0122 years from now.
SPEAKER_03Why? I don't know. I feel like that's when I'd maybe go to decide to put tools down, like stop being like a so tooly orientated.
SPEAKER_01So you that's when you decide that you're not gonna be a tool anymore?
SPEAKER_03No, no, no. I'll still be a tool. I'll be the biggest tool. Hell yeah. Bro, I uh little backstory right now. I was at work today. I did a job removing this leaf spring out of this truck because it's weird suspension setup and all the rest of it. The apprentice is like, I thought we didn't have tooling for that. I said, I am the tooling.
SPEAKER_01I am the tool. Do you ever come up with like random tools that you have to make on the spot to Yeah, I have heaps of way too many. I have toolboxes full of them. Of just like things that you can't buy.
SPEAKER_03I've made hundreds of tools, not quite hundreds, but I've made a lot of tools. Yeah. But like necessarily there might be a right tool for the job, but make something easier, yeah, yeah, cheaper, faster. Yeah. It's like I've made uh I welded a socket onto uh Imperial nut because it's the exact size of a 17mm Allen key, which I didn't have on me at the time. So I just welded a nut to the socket and then now I have a done stuff like that all the time. Or like I've got sockets that are like reversed the back way around quarter inch socket and welded a M12 nut on it so it's a 19 mil because that fits real like small tap sets so that way I could tap in an area I couldn't get because I can check the racist spanner on it then and just chuk chucch chuch chuck in little spots. This is a super boring topic.
SPEAKER_01Hey, would you go in the future to ask your question?
SPEAKER_03Wait, well it just looks at you.
SPEAKER_04Uh no, would I uh yeah, I'd do like a back to the future though, like just ask me in like a month from now for all the sports results. Oh, then gamble. Yeah, and make me some money.
SPEAKER_03You know, wouldn't that change the future?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, if it's a future spec. Would it change the future? Yeah, it changed the future, I'll be rich in it.
SPEAKER_03You wouldn't be here. To me slowly fades out.
SPEAKER_01Damn it. Yeah, okay. So you would you would go like more money to dusty.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean, I think so. I mean, if I think about asking myself a question like, you know, 30 years from what am I gonna ask? I don't care. Just I'll ask, you know, in a month from now, will you? Give me all the sports results, bro.
SPEAKER_02Months from you, Toomie's gonna give you the wrong results.
SPEAKER_04He's gonna fuck you. Bro, I don't watch sports, so I would like ask myself, like, and I'd be like, I don't know, bro, I wasn't paying attention.
unknownDamn it.
SPEAKER_02You fucking bro wasted his one question. What are you asking?
SPEAKER_03I don't think I don't think I would. I'd like what what would I want to know? Why don't you something random? Nah, I don't imagine if you went to go ask yourself at 60 years old, you just wear there, you'd be like, oh see, I would, I would, I think I would go more emotional.
SPEAKER_01Like, do I go through like a real bad heartbreak or something? I think. But do you want to ask that? I think so, because then I can kind of prepare myself for whatever the fuck's gonna happen. Yeah. I think.
SPEAKER_03Well it's like asking yourself. Or you're just gonna viral yourself.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. And then that will cause the heartbreak.
SPEAKER_01Okay, you can't change the reason. That's the reason. That's the reason why you go through the heartbreak.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, yeah. Or or okay, I would I would if I was to go back or go to the future and ask, I would go old and then like not old, old, but enough where I still have like enough brain power.
SPEAKER_03At least another two years.
SPEAKER_01Not that old. Um I would probably go 60 or 70, I think. I hate that. I fucking hate that so much. Um and I would just ask, like essentially like what you said, like do we like do we make it? That's not what I asked. You said is it worth it? Yeah, yeah. Like the same thing. No, I'm not saying they're the same thing. I'm just saying, like, there's like I would just ask, like, did we make it? Or was it worth it? Okay, so now we like one or the two, because it's like they both end up to the same answer that I would get is like essentially was content like worth it.
SPEAKER_04So moving on, you said you had something gay to talk about.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Do you want me to uh dive into that? I don't know. I was on your world and you had like heaps of sheep just getting bum fucked. You weren't supposed to go in that room.
SPEAKER_04The sign says don't go in this room.
SPEAKER_01No, I do I do have something super gay to talk about. Um, and I got told this by someone that I need to practice what I preach. And it's it's the fact that I'm putting it out on the internet is shit. But I can't sit here and give people advice if I'm not gonna stand by it. So the last four months I have been so fucked in my head that it felt like my world was crumbling around me. To me doesn't care.
SPEAKER_04Uh I'm listening. This is my to me definitely.
SPEAKER_01It's like I'll wrap it up. Um, and I yeah, so the last like four, four to five months. I'm not gonna go into detail because I just won't. Um, but it felt like my world was crumbling around me. My brain convinced itself that a certain situation would be better. Um and then it was coming up with all these other different like variables that just made me happy for some unknown fucking reason. Um, and then I went away to work, which is I was away for two weeks, as as you guys will know. Um and it just got too much. Like essentially, my my cup was full, my bag was full. Full bag. It was a full bag. And you didn't unpack. I didn't jack off. No, no, not for a while. Yeah, full sack.
SPEAKER_03That's why Sanders sack's so large.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he needs to unload every now and again. But it was, it it just got to a point where like I couldn't. I had this, like, I wouldn't say anxiety ridden because I wasn't like riddled with anxiety, but I just had this feeling in my gut of like, so when I actually opened up to Adam, we ended up calling it so you know how you get like butterflies when you're nervous to meet someone or like whatever. This felt like the opposite. It felt like wasps, but not like stingy wasps, like they weren't stinging me, they just felt like Would you call it caterpillars eating their way out?
SPEAKER_03They're before butterflies. Thanks, man.
SPEAKER_01I yeah, let's just call it caterpillars. Hey, back to sad mode. Stop laughing. Okay. Um caterpillars were eating my ass. I want to see a tear on the on the inside. I'm gonna milk you. Alright. Um, and it was like it this the only time that I've had that feeling is when I had that dream about taking Michaela's life. I've told the story before. Yeah, a hundred times. Um, fine. Sweet, I don't have to reiterate that. Um, that was the only time. And then like this time I kind of had it just kind of crept up, kind of crept up. And I don't know what caused it. It could have been a lot of like either like everything that I'm taking on.
SPEAKER_03Um yes.
unknownBurnout.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, could be could definitely be burnout. Um actually it probably was burnout.
SPEAKER_03I won't lie, I'll I would agree with the burnout.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um, and then yeah, it got to a point where I eventually told someone I spoke to Adam because my my thought pattern was just not there. And I think that's why our content has dropped a lot, um, not necessarily in views, but just in like production quality and not putting much out because I've just I'm just not there. So yeah, I I spoke to Adam about it, and then the one thing the reason why I didn't speak about it to anyone is because what I was feeling could hurt so many other people. And I think when people say you don't want to be a burden, that's the burden. You don't want to hurt other people's feelings, so you it's easier for you to keep it in than to let it out, and then so many other people around you that you love are hurt, crying, sad, whatever. So I kept it in for far too long.
SPEAKER_06And what did that cause?
SPEAKER_01So much a lot. A lot. It it caused a lot. Um now I'm gonna preface that I wasn't suicidal, I wasn't depressed, I wasn't any of that. It was just I was so confused in my brain that I didn't know how to deal with it because I've never dealt with that before. Like I'm I've I would say that I'm like very well clear-minded a lot of the time. But I think, like you said, like I I took on so much and I want to do so much that it eventually ended up in burnout and I just couldn't do anything about it. It's like things that are out of my control. So eventually without speaking to Adam, I opened up and spoke about it and like I thought it would, it hurt a lot of people around me.
SPEAKER_06And then it was a lot of talking, a lot of discussions, a lot of everything.
SPEAKER_01Um'd you go just what? I said someone say something gay. Oh yeah, I like that. Um yeah, fat titties. Were we gonna ask?
SPEAKER_03I said you had fat titties.
SPEAKER_01I was sitting on it ready to go. Yeah. Uh well, that was super gay.
SPEAKER_03There you go. You have me now?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, so I I had to uh when I spoke to this said person that said like she essentially said, like, yo, like you have a fucking mental health podcast. Like, how can you sit there and give other people advice if you're not gonna take your own advice? And then it was kind of like shit. That's kind of facts.
SPEAKER_03Hey man, coaches don't play.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's right. That's right, coaches don't play.
SPEAKER_03No, that's a bad example. Coaches normally did play, yeah, in the past. Even worse.
SPEAKER_01I don't know, I don't know. But yeah, I it it got to a point where it was a lot, so I couldn't, I didn't know what to do, and it just got to a point where my head was so fucked up that I had to say something and I I let it all out. And I was it was a Sunday, I remember being on the phone um talking about it. Luckily, I was on site when no one else was there, and I was crying my fucking asshole out, and that's the first time that I've cried like that in a long time.
SPEAKER_03So now things are resolving, feeling better.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03It's a it's a slow jump. How'd you make the jump to talk about it?
SPEAKER_01Did you anxiety? You just anxiety it. Yeah, I I just read the anxiety wave. Hell yeah, let's do this, bro. Hell yeah, brother. Yeah, that's vote, right? It's my vote. He just committed, yeah, yeah. And I was scared as fuck. I was so scared. Exactly. I could imagine I didn't know what was gonna come of it. Fear of the unknown.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's next level, especially if you're gonna like cause emotional pain.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was a lot. Um, so yeah, I it just got to a point where it was like too much, and my brain was just fried. I couldn't I couldn't make sense of like not what was reality and what wasn't, but more so like why I was so confused. My brain was so in overdrive, you were just rethinking everything. Legit, everything every possible outcome or every possible scenario, every possible situation my brain was thinking of. And it was like agreeing with some but disagreeing with another. It was like waves, it was like going up, and I was like, Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm doing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um sorry, the the only way that I can describe it is like waves. It was like I was going up and I was like, Yep, sick, this is this is what I'm gonna do. And then it would plummet a lot, and I was like, what if if I do that, then this is gonna happen and all of these things are gonna happen. And then I would slowly make my way up to like, yep, no, this is this is what I'm gonna do, and then plummet again.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, it was you were very much overthinking, or not overthinking, but rethinking everything. Spiralling, if you would.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I was spiraling a lot.
SPEAKER_03Have you stopped spiraling?
SPEAKER_01Have I stopped spiralling? Yes. Since opening up, yeah, 100%. Yeah, I have to hear somewhat of a clear brain.
SPEAKER_03No ridges, no bumps, smooth brain.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I have a very smooth brain running out. It's nice. Then nice. But it was um, yeah, it was just it was one of those things that I wanted to talk about because when this person said that you need to stop being a little bitch, um, and it was nice because she said like you need to take your own advice before you can sit on a fucking podcast and give other people advice.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like it's easy to give advice, but then when you're going through it, it's um not so easy to take your own advice.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah. It's like when you guys were trying to get me to read, like when I read a couple pages out of my book back in the day. You just like, yeah, I could do that, and old mate and whatnot, never read a page out of their book.
SPEAKER_01I could I like if I if I was to sit there and like write it down in my notes, I could. I I could sit here, more so because I know that it will probably help someone. But yeah, it was uh it was a lot. It was difficult. It's a lot, it is very difficult. And if you like go back and watch like a lot of those videos, you wouldn't even know. You wouldn't even know that I was sitting here fucking with tweaking a ball of wasps wasps in my gut.
SPEAKER_03It is poker face, mate.
SPEAKER_04And has this experience changed your like advice now if someone, if you were to speak to someone and give advice, how's it changed the advice you would give in this on this platform?
SPEAKER_01It would, it would, it would still be the same, but I just know how hard it is to open up. So I think I'd be more, way more sympathetic. And I would be like, yo, like I know it's fucking hard. I know it's really, really hard, but sometimes So am I. I knew you were gonna do something was gonna come up. I would said it once, then you did it, you doubled down and went, oh I know it's rock hard right now. I know it is, but you just need to let it out all of it. I can see how hard it is. Now I would be way more sympathetic, but I also kind of like this is a wild take, I think, but I kind of understand like not mental health issues, but like how people can convince themselves that things are real. Yeah. Because I essentially went through that and I was like, Yeah, this it would be way easier if I did this, or this would be way easier. And then I was like, Yep, that's and then I would think on like the timeline of if that was to occur, I'd be like, Yeah, we could do this, we could do this, we could do this. So I kind of understand a lot more now when people spiral and then they their brain convinces themselves into something that's not true, and then when you actually open up and talk about it, you'll find that a lot of like almost 90% of the shit that you're thinking about in your brain is false. Yeah, cool. Um really turned away, it's just like I don't give a fuck.
SPEAKER_03Just do direct icon, direct eye contact.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, I was I was reducing over it. But I would um I would be a lot more sympathetic and I would um I want to try and find a way, like there's there was this there's this thing that is in my head where I I went to Nando's um and I want to recreate this inner reel because I feel like it would be so fucking powerful. I went into Nando's to get dinner, um, and I was sitting there with headphones in and I was just blasting music in my ears, just sad shit, like it was. And I looked over and I saw these these two couple, or this couple just just sitting there and laughing and like holding hands and and shit. And I was like, well, get a room, get a room. No, but I was like, I was just watching it, and I was like, the thing that popped into my head where I was like, I thought, um, damn, if I was if I was that bloke or that chick, and I saw me just like sitting there staring into the abyss, like you could tell that something's up. Would you go over to that person? You're antisocial as fuck. Dude, absolutely not.
SPEAKER_04I wouldn't even I wouldn't even see that person. I am an expert at minding my own business.
SPEAKER_01So you'd be like, yo, this nano's is kind of fire 100%. Yeah, that's fair. Do you think you would? I definitely wouldn't. See, that's where I'm different because I saw it through my own eyes, and I'd be like, fuck, that dude is struggling. And I would like get up and I'd be like, hey baby, just one sec. And I'd be like, Yeah, are you are you good? Are you okay?
SPEAKER_04That's what I would what do you want to say about it? I don't know. I'm just thinking if someone came up to me and checked us, I was okay, I'd be like, leave me alone.
SPEAKER_02I was like the first thing.
SPEAKER_03I'm trying to think if I would if that would be I don't know, maybe it's hard because different people, like for example, I'm in Termy's bird here 100%. Like if someone, if I was sitting there with my AirPods in, blasting like I'm so stuck. I would, and I'm just like, I cannot sleep. And they come to say hi. Not high.
SPEAKER_01I'm decking them, not high, not high. They're they're they're not coming to go like, hey, how are you? More they're more like they put your their hand on your back and go, mate, are you alright? Well, that's assault.
SPEAKER_03I would I would definitely be like, I'm good. The fuck.
SPEAKER_01So if someone was to come up to you and was like genuinely trying to check up on you to make sure that you were okay mentally, because they can see that there's 100%, I'd be like, fuck off.
SPEAKER_03Really?
SPEAKER_04If I don't know them, 100% I think I'd be embarrassed, yeah. Like, what you think I'm a bitch? Fuck off.
SPEAKER_02To be like, over a couple emeralds.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, shit.
SPEAKER_02That's funny.
SPEAKER_01Um, yeah, see, I I don't know, I see it in a in a different way because I I'd be like see, you're a people person.
SPEAKER_03I'm not a people person. That is not a people person. I don't even know. I'm not even sure that's a person.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I just I see it in like I think if I was struggling like mentally and I was in a public place and and and someone could like actively see, you can tell that they're like they would essentially be aware, and they've obviously been through something like that before. So they're they're conscious of like what other people would look like if they're struggling. So if they were to come over to you and be like, hey man, I like I saw that you like you were just staring off into the distance and not doing anything. Are you okay? And you look sad. You look sad. Do you want a hug? I would I would be like, yo, man, I'm not really doing that cool, but like I appreciate you coming up. Like I kind of want to you know You never wear cooler. I don't know. That's I just re I I like I see it as like a cinematic, like reel.
SPEAKER_03Bro thinks he's in a movie, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I would that's that's how I would record the reel, I think. Like it's set in a restaurant, it's at night time, and blah blah blah. That's how my brain works.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, right. Can we go to Perth? Oh no, we'll go wherever you want, baby. Can we go to that exact Nando's?
SPEAKER_01That's in Bunbury. Road trip. I kind of don't want to go back to Bunbury. It's kind of asshole joint. I don't know if I've been to Bunbury before. Uh, it's alright. It's alright. It's flip flip. It's no bad. It's fucking confusing to navigate that place.
SPEAKER_03That's any place I've ever gone to work or anyone talking about how where they work. Oh, how this place. Oh, it's good. No, yeah, you should come over. Come join the workshop. Join the workshop.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's fucking shit. Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, it's alright. It's not, it's not that bad. Um, I met a few weird people, but you get that. It's bumbling. Yeah. So yeah, I would um that's my little TED talk. I would like it if if you are struggling with something and you're spiraling and your brain is convincing you that some situation or scenario is real, just fucking like find someone that you're comfortable with, even if they call you gay or laugh or whatever, just talk about it. Just say it out loud, or even look at yourself in the mirror and say it. That is a very good one. You you might come, but just say it. Uh, busted, busted. That's the only thing that I can say. Because as soon as I I was so confused in my brain, but as soon as I let it out, it was like slightly like a fart. Easy to stomach. I have no idea what you said, just then.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Actually, fart. That's easy to stomach.
SPEAKER_03That's really close. What did you say? It's just like a fart. Easy's the stomach.
SPEAKER_01Right, okay. Okay. Yeah. So I would like it. I would like it if there are if if someone is out there, you, if you're struggling, if you're spiraling, just speak to someone about it. Doesn't matter who. Look at your dog and talk to him about it. Or her. Good side. They can be uh, you know, two genders.
SPEAKER_03Powerful stuff, not um convincing yourself in your brain something that's not real is real.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03How do you feel about trans people?
SPEAKER_01Great, they're awesome people.
SPEAKER_03Do you think they convince themselves so there's something they're not?
SPEAKER_01So we have a different topic. I was gonna bring it up before. I was like, no, hold it, wait, wait. That's actually one thing that a lot of people lack is just fucking common respect. I was actually speaking to an old an old fella today about because he has seen our podcast surprise. Fuck you. And he was saying that he saw the video or the the reel of like me calling out that that Canadian fella where he's like, oh, if you rock up at fucking six o'clock, you're already I know if I tell you to start at 6 30 and you rock up at six, you're already fucking late, mate. Fuck off, go away. And I like made a reel about like shut the fuck up, stop being a cunt. Um he saw that reel and he's just like yo, it's spot on. Like blah blah blah, common respect. That's yeah, it was a good talk. It was a nice talk with him.
SPEAKER_03What how old was he? Was he old old? 60, I reckon. Sure. He's won ten on you.
SPEAKER_01Ten on me, yeah. Old jokes are they're not funny anymore. They're never they'll never not be funny. To you. Um yeah, so that's my little dilemma. Have you been through anything lately?
SPEAKER_06Not really.
SPEAKER_01No, you give a fuck. We have a topic actually here. You go. Fire. To me, there is I was actually uh when I was down in Bunbury, I read and I got sent an article about uh a time travel. To me, can you bring this up, please? Do your fucking job, that's what you paid for, you useless cunt. You gay fucking jumper. Now, before we start into this, are you guys like conspiracy theorists?
SPEAKER_03Absolutely not.
SPEAKER_01No. Do you believe in aliens?
SPEAKER_03No, I mean, yeah, sure there is.
SPEAKER_01It's kind of like a they're they're probably out there, but I believe, yeah, there's like you believe in like big lizards that breathe fly fire or flyer?
SPEAKER_03Like a dragon? Dragging these balls over your face.
SPEAKER_02Oh, oh god. Oh, it's like you're not gonna fall for it.
SPEAKER_04That's what you need to ask your future self.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, don't say dragon. Don't say bro, that was creative as fuck. I'm not gonna lie. Dragon.
SPEAKER_02I almost said it, and I was like, oh wait, I could get stabbed with this and immediately went.
SPEAKER_01Fucking hilarious. Fuck you. Um, yeah, so this dude, Adam Arkron, um, he claims to be from the year 2045, um, and he's delivering uh alarming predictions for the next four years. Now, when I read this, it was kind of like, mmm, but then you read it a little bit more, and you're like, things are kind of adding up with the things that are going on in the world right now, and it's just fucking blah, blah, blah. Um, you want to read it out to me? That's a lot of reading. Summarize. Well, yeah, just summarize it. Staff. So essentially what he does is he's from the year 2045. He comes back. He was born in 2019.
SPEAKER_032045? I have no idea. No, it's a game. No, it's 2070, 67. Shut the fuck up.
SPEAKER_0120. He was born in 2019. Um, he came back in time to see and experience life before he was born.
SPEAKER_03When was he when was he exactly born?
SPEAKER_016th of December.
SPEAKER_03Fire date to be born.
SPEAKER_01Is that your birthday? Yeah, it is. Shut up, pussy. Um 2019. And apparently it's common practice for time travelers in the future to go back to see what life was like before they were born.
SPEAKER_03But he didn't go before.
SPEAKER_01He didn't. So, or he did, and he just has lived until 2023. So this article Yeah, yeah, sorry. This article came out in 2023, and essentially they put him up to a lie detector and they asked him questions. And he said things like uh in the year 2028, aliens are pretty much going to come to Earth and like In August. In August 2028.
SPEAKER_04So apparently he did all of this under a polygraph test. Yeah. While allegedly being monitored by polygraph tests, he stated that yes, it's true, aliens land on Earth in August 2028. In fact, we've known about the existence of aliens before 2028, but it isn't until after 2028 that it becomes public knowledge. Yep. So they they debunked the government's bullshit on on aliens. And he says in 2029 there'll be an implantable microchip called the One will be introduced into the public's rights.
SPEAKER_032030, the US will no longer be independent.
SPEAKER_01It won't be, yeah, it won't it won't be a country. And then cash will be irrelevant. So you can pretty much do everything with that chip.
SPEAKER_03They also said there's an artificial intelligence that's going to be released in 2033 called the light.
SPEAKER_01Scary.
SPEAKER_03It's kind of scary.
SPEAKER_01Kind of a fire name for AI, the light. But also the fact you put AI at the end of it is kind of scary. If if you were to rename an AI intelligence or make your own AI, what would you call it? Skynet.
SPEAKER_03What would you call it?
SPEAKER_01The one.
SPEAKER_03I'd probably call it Doug or something. Steve. That's kind of fire. I like that.
SPEAKER_01AL Steve. I kind of believe in time travel, but then I kind of got into the the discussion with someone where if time travel was real, how do you think it would work? Do you think it would be like the Charlie in the Chockshot Factory sitch where they would break down your atoms, transfer you to another time?
SPEAKER_03So you disappear from your current time.
SPEAKER_01Yep, and then open up. Or do you think it would be more like an avatar sitch, the blue ones, where they would put you in a pod and it's just your conscience that goes back to the past?
SPEAKER_03And the question is if you so firstly, in the first situation, your past self will still be there, and then the second situation you will be your past self. I would say, first of all, you automatically should go to the first option for you. Because if that was not the case, then there would be a four-year-old saying this. Do you know what I mean? What like if you said you go back the second option, your consciousness goes back? And if that was the case for old mate, they're just there, he would be like five years old.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_03Wouldn't say that's in that story. So it would have to be the first option, if anything.
SPEAKER_01So according well logically, going off by that story, it would have to be Adam's, your like body would get sent into the past. Okay, if that was the case, if you had one opportunity to go back in time and live for 12 months, where would you go? Now there are certain criteria that comes into this question. Anything that you do doesn't change the future, right? Um you like, but also like if you say you were to go back to 9-11 and like tell people beforehand that things are gonna happen. When you go back to the future, that same thing has happened. So it doesn't affect the past, it doesn't affect the past.
SPEAKER_03Hotly specific like time to go back to.
SPEAKER_01Well, that's a big thing that you would want to save lives, right?
SPEAKER_03Maybe I wanted to be a third plane.
SPEAKER_02It never happened, obviously.
SPEAKER_04So JP's just going back in time to rape and kill it.
SPEAKER_02No, no, bro, it's gonna be the new Genghis Khan for 12 months. Fuck.
SPEAKER_01No, sorry. What would you do? Yeah. Okay. So there's that. Where would you go and what would you do?
SPEAKER_03I need more, a little bit more thinking time. I am thinking. Can you go? Or someone else who wants to jump in? I'm neither. Yeah, I mean, I'd probably go back like 70s, 80s. Like I know exactly where Toomie's going. He's gonna go get a collection of fucking disco pickies.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean, that's what I was thinking, but the beginning of like the hippie movement and uh Woodstock and that kind of shit, like back when concerts didn't have mobile phones. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I like to party, so I would go to I think those are probably the best parties ever. That'd be fun.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that is a respectable answer.
SPEAKER_01I like it. What do you got? I think because like the typical answer is like, oh, I would like to go back and see the dinosaurs and imagine trying to live 12 months with the dinosaurs. Yeah. I don't I don't care for that. Yeah, like dinosaurs, dinosaurs, we pretty much see small versions of them here every day. Like lizards.
SPEAKER_06So I think I would go um like the early 1900s, like World War One.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I would fight in a war. You know how I'd have a good time, don't you? Get all the anger out of my sister before I go back. Fair. Because you you you can't die. Oh well you can't die. No. Well if you Well, why wasn't that stated at the start? Oh wait, no, we're we're doing the first option, right? Where you're where you your particles shrink and you go back. Yeah. Yeah, okay, so you can die. I wouldn't fight in the war. I would go. I would go. What was it? It was like the 60s and 70s, like big sex fest. Yeah, yeah, yeah. AIDS. Yeah, AIDS. Oh maybe I don't want to go there either. No, I would just go where it's just like where everyone just starts fucking. I mean, yeah, but you know that AIDS is a problem, so you can just wrap it up.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, maybe I want to get it. Maybe. It doesn't matter, does it? I guess maybe you started it, plot twist. This is how AIDS started. Went back in time.
SPEAKER_06Fuck the monkey.
SPEAKER_03I think my ideal time is somewhere between like the 18, probably like anywhere from like the 16 to the 1700, somewhere, maybe a little bit later. I would just wanna like where people are a little bit more simple than I could like manipulate the millions into making like you wanna start. I'll come back with my current knowledge, start making shit. Next thing you know, we have like things that shouldn't exist back then, back then, and I'm gonna be like ruling the world or something. I'm gonna like give me 12 months with the knowledge I have now, and we'll see how long it takes me to conquer the world. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I mean you'll probably just get burned for being a witch, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03No, no, that's that's a bit later there. Well, we're if we're in like the 17s, I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I think they'll just call you gay and beat you up.
SPEAKER_03What if I beat them up? I'd be like, all right, here fellas, we're gonna make something that's gonna change the world, immediately invention fidget spinners.
SPEAKER_01Just blow everyone's brain.
SPEAKER_03Whoa, flow's that just start popping out all like the most relevant trends over the like the last 10 years. Get some loom dance going.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna change my answer. I would go back to the time and era of like I want to be of consciousness around like between 15 and 18. Like my age, you know, my age. Oh, your age. Yeah, my age. So let's just say 18.
SPEAKER_03Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I want to be that age when like computers start coming in and gaming and like like the first iPhone and not first iPhone. Like when technology first starts coming in. So there's like so you know how you were talking a few episodes ago about LAN parties and stuff? Yeah, bro. Imagine experiencing LAN parties high on acid, smashing with what, all four pictures on the screen?
SPEAKER_03Hell yeah.
SPEAKER_04So you want like the nausea, like the 2000s, like mid-2000s kind of far away. Xbox 360, Halo 3 LAN parties. Big. That's what we said.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I mean ultra kill. I I kind of experienced all that. Yeah. Like, but like you just want to relive to when I was there and doing it. No, but like before then, when like the internet really wasn't a thing, it was just like more LAN parties where you could play with each other.
SPEAKER_03Wasn't that long ago?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like late 90s.
SPEAKER_03I know it wasn't Oh, anywhere in time? 20 years ago at least.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but you've got to think that I'm 18 years old. That's when I wanna go, like I wanna be an 18-year-old in the early 90s.
SPEAKER_06The late 90s. Early 90s. The early 90s. Yeah. Because the PlayStation 1 came out like early 90s. Yeah, mid-late 90s.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So imagine like being conscience, conscience, conscious, conscious when the play st when the first PlayStation 1 come out. I remember playing the first PlayStation, but it would have been out for years before then.
SPEAKER_04A good mate of mine is of that era. He was he's gotta be five, six years older than me. Old as fuck. Um, but like he's a big gamer, big computer, like programmer guy, and yeah, he used to tell us stories about doing exactly like hacking, yeah, land parties. Probably said he's taken more than a thousand tabs of acid in his life. Fuck. Jesus. They used to put it in their eyeballs, he said. Oh my god. Liquid? Put a tab. Oh no, I think a tab. Oh my god. I'm pretty sure. Maybe it was a drop. But in my head, I picture him putting a tab under his eyelid for I heard liquid acid is a hell big thing.
SPEAKER_01You think you could would you be able to shelf it?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_03Yuck. Right.
SPEAKER_04With enough loop, you could shove me. Tell you it's a tiny little smaller tablet.
SPEAKER_01Probably kick in fucking grey. Just start feeling your asshole just tangling, sparkling, start seeing colours out of your ass. Yeah, I think I reckon that'd be that'd be a cool era to go back to. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Am I the only one out here trying to conquer the world?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_03Bro, live a little, all right?
SPEAKER_01That's why I just want to party. That is living Barry. That's what I want to do. Yeah. Well, this was an insightful episode. It was. I would just like to thank everyone for watching.
