Now let's solve some pool problems with your host, Frank and Jackie Disher,
Frank Disher:happy. New Year. 2025 yay. To your disease. We've been sick all week. How much chlorine you tested
Unknown:the water?
Frank Disher:But what does it mean?
Unknown:Hey, friends, welcome to boots on ground radio. You're listening to the deep end with Fern and Jackie his side kick in life and on the air, I'm sounding a little bit nasally because we did bring in the new year with some Congo crud, but it's okay.
Frank Disher:We've had different illnesses bounce around in our family. And
Unknown:if I am like snotty, I'm so sorry. We're
Frank Disher:we've had, like, head and chest stuff. Yes, our kids have been melting from both ends. Starting, starting with the babies, starting with the babies, and wow, yeah, the whole family's been a little bit laid up. I
Unknown:missed other kids, our other kids, Alex and McKay, and that they had the snotty stuff. Yeah, so, yeah, Brandon and Bailey, knock on wood. Who work for us?
Frank Disher:I wasn't, you know, because most of the work I had to do was dive stuff. And I wasn't able to dive because you don't dive when you're sick, because it makes you much sicker. If you got sinus issues, and you get to the bottom of a pool, and I've had it happen, you'll hear this pop sound in your head and your sinuses dump into your mask, and it's disgusting. So I try and it hurts. The headache is just unbelievable. When you got sinus issues, when you're going underwater, but we're doing that Jack Frost nipping at our nose, coming down. We're
Unknown:about to, well, I mean, Texas isn't going to get it as as bad as all the other Yeah, we gonna get some stuff. We're supposed to, yeah, I'm
Frank Disher:saying possibly some snow. We're definitely gonna get some cold temps, but we do get above freezing every day. It looks like we don't have any, like consecutive days below freezing. So that's a benefit, but people are still worried and absolutely,
Unknown:yeah, well, but you know, happy New Year to everybody. Yeah, happy 2025.
Frank Disher:The year to thrive. Yes, to be alive. Yes, thrive. What else beehive, Jive
Unknown:stopping you right there. Yeah, we're gonna cough and be gross through this whole episode. Sorry about that. Sorry. Love you guys. We'll try to cut some of it out. But I don't know. I don't we can do it. But yeah, what else we got going on? My brother
Frank Disher:and sister are having birthdays. They're 363 days apart. That's crazy. Was today, yeah, Brian's was today. And my sisters is in two days. You know, my brother, when we were younger, he got, you know, they got to be the same age for two days. So he got to be tough stuff. That's
Unknown:crazy. But Mama, the he woman, yeah, she I was her seventh
Frank Disher:at 12 pounds, six ounces. That's like birthing two babies. You know that's I was a big old, big old, hunky child. But
Unknown:looking at your pictures, you wouldn't, you would never think that at
Frank Disher:all. I see if I can't post my baby picture on the Facebook page, and y'all tell me, y'all remember the show the dinosaurs, and they had the baby dinosaur, not the mama. Well, I was, yeah, that's pretty much what I look like. I didn't watch
Unknown:that show, but I've seen when you said that a few years back. I looked at those pictures, and it's 100% y'all have to look at this because it. Is hot Larry,
Frank Disher:I was, yeah, look like my mouth hinged at the back of my neck. And I just, you know,
Unknown:that was a big old bag. Oh my goodness. And then our youngest son, we have girl, boy, daughter. So our youngest son is having a big birthday this coming week, on the 10th as well.
Frank Disher:He turns 33 zero. That's big for
Unknown:him. And, you know, I'm not good at math, even though I write all of our checks and I do all of our I'm not good at math, but I don't understand how he's 30 when I'm just like 39 Well, how did that happen? I don't even know.
Frank Disher:That's what happens to hillbillies, baby.
Unknown:We are living the hillbilly. What is it? Hillbilly Elegy?
Frank Disher:Oh yeah, that was a decent movie, actually. Oh
Unknown:gosh. We grew up in killer where nobody knew where killer
Frank Disher:was. Killer what hillbilly it was, just country. There's a difference between hillbilly. Well, my bloodline is, you know, bleeds
Unknown:thick. I'm not hillbilly.
Frank Disher:You know, the color of our Blood is red neck. That's about how our my family tree goes, and your daddy's your daily family tree is about same.
Unknown:My daddy's from Covington, Virginia, in the hills and the mountains in Virginia. And so he was, he was kind of, but then he married my mama, who's Miss premium proper. And so he learned, he learned some manners.
Frank Disher:Yeah, she was big time Fort Worth City. She was
Unknown:big time seeker. Yeah,
Frank Disher:you know, this week I did quite a few of the, you know, offer out that video, you know, because people are still panicking from
Unknown:and rightly so. I get it. I totally, I mean, 2021 was
Frank Disher:painful, y'all, and nobody wants to relive that. So people, you know, anytime it's gonna get cold, they get a little bit worried. So I've been going out and doing, I do this thing, and feel, you know, if you're in the business, feel free to steal this. I mean, I think it's a huge service to clients, where I'll go out, and I'll do a video for them. First, I'll walk them through it, you know, hey, you know, if it's getting cold, we lose power, and you can't move water in your system. This is what you got to do. And I'll walk them through it real quick. And then I do a video, and I send the video to them, and then they always have it to reference. It's awesome. I don't know how I came up with this idea because it's a good idea, but people are loving it. And, you know, like said, you know, most time people don't, you know, they don't need the emergency, but boy, when the emergency happens, man, there's so many
Unknown:people that wish they had that snow again, whatever.
Frank Disher:Many people, many 1000s of dollars. So I've been doing a lot of that, and people are very grateful for it, not typically throwing a little pool school. Because it doesn't matter what pool I go to, I find things. Hey, you know you really should change your returns because, you know you're not circulating well or or, you know, point out things with their skimmers. Or you shouldn't really have that much water dedicated to returning to your hot tub. You need to return more to your pool. Your hot tub is 120 at the size of your pool. So it needs, your pool needs 20 times more water. So, you know, just things like that. But I enjoy it because I like sharing knowledge, which is why we have a podcast.
Unknown:You are full of it.
Frank Disher:You know, my goal is to be the best, well known pool dude on the planet. Yeah, and you know, I'm probably, there's probably only two or 3000 guys still ahead of so I'm climbing that ladder, man. I'm so proud. It's it's think
Unknown:I don't respect you, and I'm so proud of you. You're doing great, but
Frank Disher:our DFW pull owner group is doing well. And if you're listening to other parts of the countries, you know, I've started a lot of pull owner group pages, they're not populating very well, because I'm not really pushing them at all, but I've got a few people. It's gonna be taking some of them over, but we're gonna populate them. Yeah, gotta populate them. I hate words with you. We got you know Atlanta area, pull owner group, Augusta and Athens, pull owner group, Florida Panhandle. Pull owner group, South Carolina, pull owner group, North Carolina, pull on a group, Austin, pull owner group, Houston. Pull owner group, Oklahoma, Arkansas. Start populating. Them. I'm just saying no, y'all need to get busy. Start populating those kids. I'm telling you, local advice is much more valuable than you know. If you're in North Carolina and some dude in California is trying to tell you, take care of your pool. Y'all, that's two different worlds. You know, from north to south, from east to west, sometimes from one side of a state to the other. Yeah, it's two different animals, and local knowledge and local experience is always going to be more valuable. Now, I'm not dogging on the national groups, but I just. Think a local group can be more valuable. We're about to hit 8000 members in our DFW Partner Group, and that's in like, a little over a year. Yeah, and it's doing really well, and I'm really hoping the other ones will do as well. Of course, I'm always dropping my my videos, our podcast, all that stuff on there also. But we don't let businesses just, you know, spam everybody or anything like that. It's a pull owner, yeah, but we do have some really dedicated, good hearted professionals, professionals that are just really contributing, and it's awesome, and people appreciate that. And I think that mending some bridges. Of you know, people that have been ripped off by bad pull companies. You know what it's like. You know, somebody from one group does something bad. Well, the whole group gets labeled, sure. So look around, see if you got your area pull on a group. And if you don't start it, yeah, you know, get it rolling. You know, it took mine a while to get rolling, but man alive, once it got rolling into
Unknown:the water, so to speak, yeah, and be part of it, because they want to know they've got questions. And sometimes, I don't mean to, but sometimes you can't trust all the YouTube because you don't know, you know you're listening to this about the topic you wanted. Oh, y'all are in Sydney, Australia, okay, well, I don't have the same comment. It's summer here right now. Y'all are in winter. What do you, you know? And so having a local pool owners group that can help you is just so valuable. And
Frank Disher:people, you know, people are like me. You know that they want to share knowledge. You know, if they have the knowledge, they want to share knowledge. But, you know, yeah, let's, let's, Be frank here. Let's be perfectly frank, which I am, you are perfectly Yeah. Don't if you're running a group like that, don't allow bad answers to stay up, yeah, because that confuses the crap out of people. And so when somebody posts something that you know is wrong, take it down. You have to correct them, yes, or you
Unknown:have to, yeah, take it down. Thank you for that information. However, in this environment, that is not correct because,
Frank Disher:and I do that quite a bit, and now, if it's on the fence, you know, it really could go either way. Yeah, you leave it up. You know, people are entitled to your opinions. This is America. You have the right to be wrong, but you don't necessarily have the right to give people bad information. So, but anyway, boy, I don't know how we ended up there, but this show is
Unknown:you went right on into it's
Frank Disher:okay, you know, we didn't have much of a plan going to this show. So this is where we're at. So yeah, take advantage of local groups. Local groups. Local information is always going to be more valuable than a national thing, because pools are not like cars. You know, if you buy a Chevy in California and, you know, it's the same thing as buying a Chevy in North Carolina, sure, but man alive, if one car is electric and the other car is gas, yeah, man, you're kind of talking two different animals now. So, yeah, anyway, yeah, I don't know why I wanted to go there, but I'm glad I did.
Unknown:I'm glad you did, too. That's great. I'm glad you did. All right,
Frank Disher:so going into 2025, and it's going to be a good year, I think, I think it's going to be a great year. High hopes. I have really high hopes. Don't
Unknown:make me sing the song because I will, because
Frank Disher:you got high hopes, because the ant can't
Unknown:Hi hopes. Got what's the words high
Frank Disher:apple pie? Yes. And then you what I can only, I don't know. I don't want lost after that. It's all right, y'all this is something funny that happened last night. We watched wicked. We rented wicked
Unknown:on the down low. We watched wicked. Now my girls can't listen to this podcast because I was going to take them to wicked, and we couldn't ever get a time. Yeah, and so I'm a big theater person, and so I just couldn't stand it anymore. So we did, we we rented it and we watched it at home. Here's a
Frank Disher:little point of interest this help you all understand the Frank. We've seen wicked on stage three times. Yes,
Unknown:together. Person on stage. Call the theater. We're talking
Frank Disher:Broadway. We're talking Dallas Music Hall, we and where was the other one? Oh, and I think we saw in bass and bass Hall too. This was the first time I actually followed the story. Is watching on TV.
Unknown:Is this before? Now? Has Dorothy already? And I'm just like, going, what? The wizard is he I'm like, No, do you not remember? And then I'm like, listen to this next Okay, listen to this song. You know, I'm over there trying to enjoy the movie. It's trying to take questions, and he's asking all these questions. We gotta watch it again, I mean. But here's the thing
Frank Disher:we. Pay good money for tickets on Broadway to watch wicked oh gosh, naps I've ever had
Unknown:in Gershwin theater that this show was built for.
Frank Disher:I don't believe we I made it through the opening number before I fell asleep and I woke up on the closing number. This is a long show, and then a Dallas Music Hall. I think I fell asleep there, and I think I fell asleep at Bass Hall, but so watching it as a movie, and it was pretty good. It was pretty good, pretty good.
Unknown:What is wrong with you?
Frank Disher:First time I followed, you know, it's like when we went and saw, what was it animal crackers or animal soup? Oh, you know the one with all the animals,
Unknown:Lion King, Lion King on Broadway. On
Frank Disher:Broadway. I've never seen, I've never seen the cartoon movie or any of that I tried. I had no clue what was going on. It was really cool, but I could not follow it on Broadway because I did not know the story. And it's hard to follow a story on Broadway because they cut pieces because, you know, they it's more about the spectacle and all that. But, I mean, it was fantastic. Emails about
Unknown:you have said wicked was okay, and you didn't know anything about the Lion King,
Frank Disher:Lion King,
Unknown:but you are pulled Jesus, so that that just kind of helping out whatever. All
Frank Disher:right, so we're, we're gonna go to break here's a message from our sponsors. When we come back, we're gonna talk about what I'm looking forward to in the poor industry, in 2025 which
Unknown:is some of our sponsors. You're listening to the deep end with Frank and Jackie, and we're talking about some fabulous things that Frank is excited about in 2025 which is gonna make me excited to know some of these I know, but, I mean, some of them I'm not as familiar with, so it makes me happy. All
Frank Disher:right, I'm gonna start with, uh, where do we start? I tell you what. I'm gonna start with, Aqua star. Aqua star, Aqua star. I met Aqua star four or five months ago. Got really interested, you know, it's like, okay, you know, I got pumps, I got filters, I got all that stuff, you know, hey, but All right, what's this thing you got with your valves? Really, a lifetime warranty for your diverter valves. I mean, a lifetime warranty on a valve. I'm talking the cap, the body, the diverter, even on their check valves, the little flappers, all that they're doing lifetime warranty and a decent price, and they were doing already. But you know what? I'll bring in some of these valves. I brought in the valves. I'm really excited about the valves. Well, then I started researching their filters. And their filters are incredible. They're much smaller than a normal cartridge filter, and these are large single cartridge filters, but they're about a half, if even half, the size of a normal big quad filter. But they're saying that their smaller filter filters just as well, or even better than some of these large quad filters, in which you have four cartridges in them, and I'm like, No, that can't be well, I got to looking into it. And, yeah, it's they've been NSF rated, which is National Safety Foundation. They've been NSF rated for commercial use. Issues at what they're claiming. All right, it takes a lot to get get that NSF rated, and like to be commercial, you have to be NSF rated. And their their cartridge filters filter almost as well as de filters, but they're much smaller on the equipment pad, they restrict flow much less than some of the large quad filters. And I'm really excited to be bringing some of these in this year and start installing some of them, because they're using them in Florida like crazy. There's a lot of people really telling them, like they they sponsor Rudy show talking pools. And that's what really Rudy has. Rudy stankowitz has a podcast talking pools. It's for the people in the industry, and it's a fantastic show. Yeah, oh yeah. He's been in our show. Well, I believe Aqua star sponsors that they're pipeline filters, and so that's where I started hearing about them, and got to, you know, really checking into them and listening and met with them, and I'm sold, man. I like the company. I like our rep. Our rep is Brian croissant. He's fantastic. I've actually got a couple videos posted where I did an interview with him at the international show in Dallas, two really good videos so far. I have the one on the valves posted, and I have the interview where I did with the filters, and we'll be doing the pump shortly, but I'm really excited to start using their filters. I'm going to continue using a lot of their valves, because, I mean, a lifetime warranty. Are you kidding me? Wow. You know, nobody warranties anything for a lifetime. I ain't kidding, and I'm excited about that. And this isn't a fly by night company, and it's a US based company, so I'm really, really happy about that. Yeah, so Aqua star, and they're not just, you know, pumps, filters and valves. I mean, they make all kinds of stuff. They've been around forever, making drain covers and things like that, and they got a really cool, like, universally fitting drain cover that can pretty much cover anybody's main drains in the bottom of the pole. It's a good replacement for that, because now, you know, we get a lot of these older poles, and sometimes I can't find a cover that fits it well, so I have to use these huge MDX covers, and they stick up real high and just not attractive. But now Aqua star has one that I'm real excited about, but so, so I'm really happy to be going in to 2025, knowing that I'm going to be using a lot of these filters and more of their valves, and probably maybe even try some of their pumps in my business, right? I think, you know, and with the warranties that that they give. I mean, it's really, you know, you can't miss right? You know, even if it is bad, they're gonna take care of me. So I'm looking forward to using a lot of aqua Star products going into 2025, next thing that I'm looking forward to, I've got a couple samples, is the Maddie Mac, cordless robotic cleaner, Maddie Mac. Maddie Mac, okay, apparently, they're huge in Australia, okay? And Australia has a lot of pools. By the way, Australia has more pools per capita than the US does now. There's about as many people in Florida as there is in Australia. So, I mean, that doesn't mean there's like, you know, 8 billion poles in Australia. It's just, you know, because the center of Australia is nothing but a big dirt pile and snakes and snakes and stuff that eats people. So the entire edge, which is just trying to avoid the things that eat them in the middle, yeah, and there's things on the edge that eats them too. But, hey, they're cool with it. You know, they're tough people, but the money Mac comes from, you know, they're big in Australia, and they're bringing them over to the US, all, right, guys, my biggest problem with the cordless robotic cleaner to this point is you get one use out of it, because they typically have a two and a half to three hour right battery that until you have to recharge. And that's valid, yeah. I mean, I get that. I mean, that's still incredible. But most people don't want to pull their cleaner out after every time they use it. And we've had a couple where you sell somebody the, you know, the players robotic, which is the freedom, which is a fantastic cleaner. And if it fits you, it fits you. But people, you know, they get a little bit frustrated because they put it in one day and it runs its cycle, and they walk by the next day. Oh, we got that wind, and we've got more stuff in the pool, so I need to clean the pool again. Ah, crap. I got to charge my cleaner before I can use it again. And so you got to put it in, take it out after every use. All right, the Maddie Mac holds an eight hour charge they have four different models. They have like a two and a half hour, charge one a four and a half hour. Charge one a six hour. Charge one and an eight hour. Charge one, goodness. All right. Now, I know most robotic manufacturers, if you look at the fine print y'all, it tells you, they tell you pull it out after every year. Use, okay, matter Max, not really touting that with the eight hour charge. That means you can run, run it every day for two or three days, and then pull it out and charge it. And part of the robotic cleaner, thing that I'm really excited about, it's something I come up with a few weeks ago, was the robotic bundle, where you buy a robotic cleaner to clean the walls in the floor, and you just use it two or three times a week, right? But in between, you use the beta, yeah, which I'm really excited about getting in late this year, and we've been selling a bunch of them. It's a really cool it runs off a battery, but it uses solar power to charge the battery. And you can also pull it out and charge it, give it a full charge, but when you give it a full charge, it has 30 hours. But then when it's out there running, the sun is making it, you know, continue to run. So it's like, okay, this is perfect, unless you just get a ton of debris. This combination is absolutely perfect. You put your robotic cleaner in, let it clean the floor and clean the walls two, three times a week. And in between, you use the beta, and it's catching stuff as it falls into the pool. It's skimming it off the top before it has a chance to sink Wow. And so you're gonna get much, yes, and you're gonna get much more life out of your robotic cleaner, because you're not running it all the freaking time, because that's what wears things out. That's why things are called wear items and running stuff all the time, and you're pulling your robotic cleaner out of the water, you know, two, three times a week, so it's not sitting in the water constantly and corroding or whatever, and shortening the life. So this one two punch, and I'm really going to be pushing that this year, is the robotic bundle. And I'll be doing really good deals on a beta, you know, to get people when they buy robotic to buy the bundle. But the problem is when, if you have a corded robotic cleaner, you can't run the beta because the cord floats on the surface and the beta skimming on the surface, so it will run into the cord, not be able to do its thing. But if you have a cordless now, you can do both, because one's doing the walls and floor, the other one's doing the surface. So now, with the Matty Mac, with the large with the much longer charge, I'm really excited. And y'all this, this thing is a beast. It's a good looking cleaner. It's called the Maddy Mac. I'll be doing some videos on it here pretty quick. But I'm excited about the bundle. I'm excited about the Maddy Mac. I'm excited about the beta. So going into 2025, this is going to be year of the bundle. For me, the bundle, we've sold some bundles. Yes, we we've actually sold quite a few right
Unknown:before. Yeah, yeah. Our people are like, selling them, yes, because it's a great deal number one, and it's great for the customers in their pool. I mean, they're gonna love it,
Frank Disher:yeah? I mean, it really is, if you think about it, it's like a natural bundle, yeah, you know. Okay, this one cleans the surface almost all the week. And when you're not cleaning the surface, you're you're cleaning the floor with your robotic you're not wearing either one out. You're giving them both the rest, so you're going to get much more life out of them. So I'm really excited about that.
Unknown:Great partners together, great duo.
Frank Disher:All right, so we're gonna go to another break, and we'll come back. We'll talk about a couple other things I'm excited about. Hey Jackie, hey Frank. Have you ever wondered how you can clean between all those pesky filter pleats on a cartridge filter? Yeah,
Unknown:I lose sleep over it. I mean, it's so tedious and it takes forever, I could never seem to get them all clean.
Frank Disher:Well, here's a pro tip. Try the cyclone filter cleaner. It uses water pressure from your garden hose to spin the filter as you clean it. This allows all the filter pleats to get thoroughly cleaned out. And the best part is it is fast and doesn't hurt your
Unknown:back. Wow. The cyclone filter cleaner.
Frank Disher:You got it. The cyclone filter cleaner, you can thank me later. Thank and what I love about their filter cleaner is they have this wand. It's the best filter cleaning spray device I've ever used. We've tried many, many different ones. They got a short version now and they got a long version, but I love using those things. Even on our de filters, we use their wands and do we have a code? We have a special discount code. If you go to cyclone filter tools.com and use code deep end will save 10% on your order so you can buy direct from them. Great stuff. I'm glad I found it. We got one on every truck. My guys love it. Guys, don't miss out on this. This is the best filter cleaning system out there.

Unknown:Hey guys, welcome back to boots on ground radio. You're listening to the deep end. We're talking about some really good, happy new year 2025, products that we think are going to be fabulous for you, that we're excited about. And this is not an exhaustive list, no, so here, because we've got some fabulous products in our store, but just some newer things, I guess, and some things that you were like, Oh, wow, yeah, this is cool, you know, so. But anything you recommend because you don't recommend it if it's not top No, if I don't like it in there, done that, seen
Frank Disher:it. Been there. Got beat up,
Unknown:seen customers mad about it. You Wow, so you don't recommend it.
Frank Disher:Hayward, God bless them. I mean, years ago, they came out with a cleaner. It's called the Phantom. I absolutely loved this cleaner. This This cleaner would clean the bottom, and then it would come up and it would skim the top. And I'm like, This is revolutionary. It was a pressure side cleaner had a had a hose on it, and everything. Did a great job cleaning the top. Did a great job cleaning the bottom. And I loved this cleaner, but they cannot keep it working if, if the pool got any kind of grit in it, if it had bad plaster or anything like that, it would get in the little pistons where that would move inside the cleaner that would make it go to the top or to the bottom. It could not handle it. And, holy cow, we sold a ton of them, and all the builders in the area were selling a ton of them. And I had a truck that all it did for like, two and a half years is go around and fix these cleaners. I had a person on payroll to do nothing but warranty work on these cleaners. They were fantastic. And God bless Hayward. I mean, revolutionary product, but Dad got it, man. I mean, couldn't get it to work. If they could, if they could just keep it from breaking, it would dominate the industry. I mean, it's a shame, because I love Hayward. You know that they have some really good products, sure, but that boy that really punched him in the mouth, and, you know, I think it hurt them in our area anyway, with their market share from having that bad cleaner, but, but hey, we're still a good company. I'm still not afraid to use the products. But boy, you know, boy that was, I mean, people would be so mad at us that we were out there every other month fixing that cleaner. So, so, you know, I try, I try to be careful about what I recommend, and if they're not going to have a great warranty, I definitely won't recommend it but, but the next thing I want to I want to talk about is my staff's getting used to it now the CU later products, you later, yes? About stain removal and metals? Yeah, managing metals and pulls. I think that's going to be a big thing for us, and because not enough people are watching their metals, they don't know they have metal issues until their pool turns colors, and that's not the time you want to find out, because now it's not easy to clean. You can remove the metals now with CU later, which is a very unique product that will remove metals out of the water before they stain. So if you're just trying to get people educated to check your metals, remove them before they're staining, because you can, can just put this little thing in your skimmer and it will remove your metals, or you can wait until your pool stains. And now you get to remove the stain, then you got to sequester it in the water, and then you got to remove it. And prior to see you later, the only way you could remove it was to drain the pool. There's products out there that would slowly work, but man, see you later, innovative, yes, it's very innovative. And I'm excited about this year because, you know, we're really going to be pushing the metal issues. Because every, every, almost every pull I go to, you know, has some metal stains. And we've had
Unknown:people go metal, metal in my water. Yeah, there's metal in my What are you talking about? The only
Frank Disher:people that understand are people that are on wells, because some of these wells, man, they're just full of iron and other metals that can really mess up a pool. Yeah,
Unknown:who knew? I mean, who knew you're a new pool owner? I mean, you don't know. You're just trying to keep it pretty and what? There's metal that comes, and
Frank Disher:there's some products, and some really good products. Products that we use that have metals in them, like blu ray XL. I love blu ray Excel. It has a huge purpose in our industry, absolutely. But if you don't manage your water and monitor your metals, even with blu ray XL, you can end up with issues if you're not managing it, if you manage it, blue rank sells the best product ever. And I believe their claims people can use up to 50% less chlorine in their pool and still be able to manage algae. And I believe it. I believe it, their product is very, very good at that. But what happens is people don't manage their water, and that's probably why they were getting algae. Anyways, they weren't managing their water well. But, you know, some people don't have the time to manage it, and they can't afford a service, so they try to take care of themselves. But they're busy. I mean, you know, we're in America, we got a lot of stuff to do, so people just get too busy, and then they get algae, and then they, you know, just start using, you know, they'll use algaecides with the blu ray XL and or pull RX, which, you know, also puts metals in the water. Next thing you know, they let the water get out of balance and plan. They stay in their pool. But now, you know, we'll see you later. We can manage the metals, but y'all, it takes some attention. It takes some attention. You've got to manage your pull. Don't just always react to, oh no. Now I have this problem. How do I fix it? No, stop the problem before it happens. It's always less expensive. Yes, preventing a problem is always less expensive than fixing a problem. So I'm really excited this year that we're going to be using a lot more See you later, and blu ray XL, because, you know, chlorine still expensive, y'all, and I want to use less of it, so we're going to be using more blue or Excel on our routes, not just our problem pools, because, you know, some polls in that's something I should have mentioned a while ago, is some pools have a huge organic load that cannot be managed with a weekly visit. But with blue ray XL mineral purification system, it removes these organics so your chlorine can manage the bull without having to constantly battle, okay, we're about to lose it, about to lose it. And you know, we can stay on top of it with the blu ray XL. We're testing our metals. We'll see you later, and then removing the metals when needed, and then keeping the pools balanced. And there's no such thing as a trouble free pool. You got to manage it, yeah. But now we can do it, keep the pool always looking good and be really happy about it, and the client be really happy, right, right? So, all right, we got really hot and heavy into poolside tech, the attendant, yes, all right. This year they're coming out. They're releasing here shortly. I've already got some because I got some trial ones. Is the Mini, so it's a much less expensive control system. The only really difference between the attendant and the many is the many does not have an outdoor screen, so you got to work everything from the app. But also it's limited on, like, how many pumps and stuff like that it could control, but on a just good, solid pool, like a play pool that doesn't have a hot tub or anything like that, if you got LED lighting, because everything's going low voltage now, man, you can run four or five pumps if you want it on this mini. Yeah, you can run three actuators. So you can have a waterfall. You could have a pulling spa. If you got low voltage lights, you could still use the mini. So now we can with the Mini, we can get people into really high end automation without the people having to spend a whole lot of money, right? Because before, I mean, it was running, you know, about 4000 bucks, put a really nice control system on their pool, no matter whose product you used. But now with the many, we can get them, we can get them in with, you know, little over half of that, and that's so valuable. Yes, I love automation and friendly, that's user friendly. And pull side tech, man, you guys have knocked it out of the park. Y'all are awesome. Y'all did really good, and I'm really happy to have, you know, a good relationship with Bullseye tech. But it's, you know, I don't know if you can have a bad relationship with them. They're the most proactive company I've ever dealt with, and if you have a question, you call them a somebody that knows how to answer the question, picks up the phone. And I love that about them. They're really doing it right. They're revolutionizing automation in the pool industry. And God bless you guys, that's awesome. And the thing I don't even know if we're supposed to be talking about it, but Polaris players is coming out with the surface cleaner, with a solar powered surface cleaner, nice and excited to learn more about that, because this. Bundle thing that I'm really loving right now, where you have a wall and floor cleaning robotic along with a surface skimmer, you know what? Now, you know, with Polaris in the game, wow. Because so far, the only ones that are out there, you know, they all come from China or whatever. I love the beta. I'm not beating up the beta, yeah. I mean, I've been very happy with the beta. We've had it in a couple months now, and I'm very, very happy with it. But now that Polaris is going to have them also, you know, we're going to get some competition going. And nothing wrong with some healthy competition, right? And especially when it's a major manufacturer that I have good represent, local representation. Because right now, I mean, bad you be good to me so far. But you know, I think it's a great thing when one of the big three, not the new three, the new three is Ray pack, Aqua star and poolside tech, the attendant. That's the new three. And I love the angle they're taking there. But the big threes, Hayward, Pinter and Jandy, or fluidra. And now Jandy is the first, or Polaris is going to be the first of the big three to come out with a surface skimmer. And I'm really excited about that. So that is pretty much all I got tonight. You have for 2020 that's all I got for going into 2025. Y'all make sure you check out our YouTube channel. You can find it by searching at deep in Frank. Check out our tech talks again at deep in Frank, and check out our Facebook page. You know, at deep in Frank, if you're in the Dallas fourth area, get on the DFW pull owner group. And if you're in any of those other areas I talked about, see if you can find, you know, find that group there and get it started. There's not many members in any of them yet. We are not pushing them, but you can be one of the first and tell your friends and start growing a local pull group. I guarantee you it's gonna be much more beneficial to you to have that sure that local knowledge, that local
