and the water is green. Hey, friends, welcome to the deep end with Burt and Jackie, his sidekick in life and on the air, you're listening to boots on ground radio. Yeah, February. It's February. Is the Jackie calls it the month of love. I'm not the only one. I made that up. You didn't invent that. I did not invent that. No, a lot of, lot of birthdays in February. My daddy's birthday was in February, really, I didn't, I don't think I knew that. No, well, you, I don't, not sure you remember. No, you met my dad right before he passed. I did, but it's been a big month for us already. We just got back from convention, yay, in Sedona Arizona. Sedona Arizona, y'all, yeah, it really is. The only problem is, everything looks like it hurts, you know, because it's pointy rocks or plants with needles sticking out of them and but this surprised me. Y'all we got, got off the plane. We were riding with two other franchisees at the convention, Randy and Elizabeth Weatherford. They're, they're out of South Carolina, and good friends of ours. We spent a lot of time with them at the convention, but we decided to go to the Grand Canyon. And this is kind of a last minute thing. I didn't know. We didn't know we were going, No, and we only spent a few hours. And I was like, Oh, that's cool. You know, I've seen a lot of pictures of Grand Canyon. It looks pretty cool. Y'all. It is ridiculous. We teared up. It's overwhelmingly gorgeous and just huge. I mean, you're sitting there, and they got all these walkways. Course, we're, we were in a national park, and they say there's prettier places on it, Jack, really? Yeah, this side. Oh, did you go to this point? And I'm like, no, they Oh, if you, if you go, like, two hours this way, it's so much prettier. And I'm like, how it is the most overwhelming, Oh, my word. And most beautiful thing, it's just huge. You feel minuscule, yeah, yeah, Tiny. Your narrative, yeah. You're looking down at people on trails, and they looks smaller than ants. They look like tiny, tiny little gnats walking around. And it's just so massive and so beautiful and just so overwhelming. And the pictures I've seen, 10,000 pictures, oh yeah, I've seen the Grand Canyon that looks like it'd be pretty cool. Oh my gosh. No. Pictures serve at zero anywhere near, yeah, drive in there and go look, because it's absolutely beautiful, overwhelming, beautiful, good convention. Yeah, we won a couple things. Sure. Did we got what we get here, top mobile sales award, yes, Keller store, color, location. And then we also won innovation and entrepreneurial excellence. Yes, they had to say with the fancy accent, but yeah, we're very proud. We had three people that were finalists, three employees, tawny, Anthony and Debbie were all up for awards. Yeah, but to even be a finalist, because we have so many franchisees now, and, yeah, everybody nominates all their people. Those are probably 20 new, 20 new franchisees, at least 20 ish, and then they're saying this year, there's, like, over, well already over 20 in the pipeline. Yeah, that's coming in. So it's it. It's going to get harder and harder and harder, but it's good seeing all the good peeps. Yeah, we love our peeps from porks. By by the way, you know, we always, you know, we always say, if there's not a pork near you, become the porks near you. If you're in the industry, you can give us a call. I'd be happy to tell you our transition. I was 20 years independent before joining poll works, I'd be happy to talk about our transition. If you're coming into the industry and you want some reasonable expectations, you know, I'd be happy to talk to you about that, or hook you up with somebody that is brand new into the industry. We love the support and the benefits that we get from poll works. But the biggest benefit is the other franchisees. Oh, 100% Yeah, right, because we, I mean, we're tight, and, you know, it's great having that many allies in the industry. You know what? I'll put a couple links in the description. Billy Pfeiffer. Billy Pfeiffer told me, I'm welcome to put her phone number and her email and give it on the air. She handles conversions, or people in the industry wanting to move from their own brand to the poor works brand. And then, you know, I'd also put Jeff's name in there. Jeff's is new to industry. If you're interested at all, give me a call. I'd be happy to talk to you about it or contact them. And, you know, maybe it's something you want to do. A lot of people want to go out on their own. I think the world is changing right now, and I think for the better, watching all this cleanup that's going on in Washington and all that, and all this waste and fraud that is being exposed, you know, I really, I really think it's going to help the it's going to help our economy and make our the dollar stronger, and let's hope so. Yeah, and more people build a good homes and swimming pools. That's what it's all about. Yeah, AV K is gonna be any any minute. She's gonna come stay with us this weekend. She's three, and knows, knows everything, tells us everything Yes, and so yeah, she's the cutest little thing ever. She's all our grandkids have been super smart. It's kind of scary. It is kind of scary. But she's, she's like, she's like, ridiculously sweet. She heard the she watched wicked one time. Knew all, and now she knows all the words to popular, and she sings popular. She and she even had some extra words she does, she does edit it, uh huh for the better. Yes, it is her own version, but she does know all the words she can and she can say those hard words you know, all about aptitude, the way you're viewed, and she knows it. She enunciates almost as well as I do, but I got a teacher I'll say, calculate. That's about Sarah. You gonna manipulate her, manipulator, manipulator. How to say calculate. But maybe for a week, we're headed off to Hawaii. Next week we are for the care craft convention. Bless our hearts, having to go suffer for the Lord in the industry in Hawaii, of all places in Hawaii, I mean, it's, we're in Waikiki. Well, I've never been to a care craft, so might as well start care crafts, a different animal care crafts, a buying group, you know, I'll give them a shout out. Yeah, we'll give them a shout out. If you're in the industry. Love being part of care craft. Get you direct access to many more manufacturers of better pricing and deals and early buys and stuff like that. Support. And greg howard, Greg the founder of carrot craft. He's the greatest guy ever. I mean, this guy was this huge business, yeah, yeah. And I'll, I'll be up at three, 4am on a Sunday morning, and something crosses my mind, and I'm real bad about emailing people and texting people at at after hours, but it always started with, I don't expect a response. You know, please don't think I'm this demanding jerk, and I'll fire off this email and I can't get 10 steps away my phone are ringing to be him calling me. Say, oh yeah, Frank, you know, no, I don't mind Connie. I was, I think he, I don't know. He may be like eternal he just never sleeps. But today's show, yes, all right, you know, we've been talking about the last four episodes. We've been doing a series on ways to save money or your swimming pool. Everybody loves to save money, yep, and, and y'all please, please listen to the shows. There really are a bunch of good tips and think ways to save money. And it's not like, Okay, if you put all this extra work, you're going to save money. It's like, no, it's simple. Things you can do. It actually makes your maintenance easier. It makes your costs less. So why would you not do this if you're in the industry? Seriously, I'm telling you you can make your water chemistry, and if you have employees out there taking care of pools, you can make it very, very simple for them. And it's like Corrado, World's Greatest pool guy. Works, works for us. No, you can't have him. No, yeah, he don't go after him. It's like Gerardo goes out and Geraldo never misses time. He's the most consistent and the most efficient, deficient and the most responsible person I think I've ever met. He he hates to miss a day. I mean, I think his wife had a baby. He missed half a day because he doesn't want anybody else touching his pools, because he's worked at other places where, if somebody else came and ran your route, you had a mess to clean up the next week. I don't think our guys will let him down, but no, that's his baby. Nobody touches his baby. Gerardo follows a lot of these tips. He checks all these boxes so it makes it easier to manage his bulls. All right, but the today, what we're focusing on is these are not necessarily ways to save money, but what I'm talking about today does cost you money to purchase the products. These are ways to just simply use less chlorine, things you can do, units you can add to your system then that are secondary sanitizers. And I may even talk about salt a little bit, which is just a primary sanitizer. So today we're going to be talking about hydroxyl radicals. I know. Are you excited? You excited? I can hardly contain myself, hydroxyl radicals, which are created from ALP systems, that's advanced oxidation processes. Clear comfort is my favorite, but there's several out there. We're gonna be talking about ozone a little bit, these ozone generators. We're gonna be talking about UV systems that use UV to help sanitize the water. And like I said, we may also talk about salt water chlorine generators again. These are ways to have more pure water without extra chemicals. You still got to do all the other stuff. These don't eliminate brushing these don't eliminate removing debris. They don't eliminate good circulation or good filtration, but they really do help you reduce the amount of chlorine that you need to maintain in your pool, because they have their own way of destroying contaminants. So in the world of oxidation, I'll start with UV. Thing about uv is it's it does help. Does a really good job sanitizing water by making algae and pathogens, germs, bacteria, viruses, making them unable to multiply. It makes them, you know, that doesn't necessarily kill them and wipe them out, but it makes it where they cannot multiply. So if you, if you got a bacteria in you, and it can multiply, it well, well, the bacteria grows and grows and grows. Next thing you know, you got a really, you know, nasty infection. If that bacteria had been through UV, it's still there, but it can't multiply. The UV is messed up, its cell structure and all that, and but because of that, it does take oxidizers to remove the stuff. It neutered that made it where it can't multiply anymore. It makes that stuff where it can't hurt you, but you still have to have oxidizers destroy it and remove it out of the water, and still have products that have to be filtered out. The thing about UV, it's, it's really popular, popular. Can I say popular? All right? Well, to say it right, I gotta say it like popular that wasn't anywhere near it's very popular on on commercial systems as a secondary sanitizer. They'll like put a big UV system on water features and stuff like that. That's that's required, but they are big, expensive on commercial systems, or big, very expensive units that are huge energy hogs, but they do a good job making the water safe, which on a commercial pool. You know, that's the main thing. You don't want anybody getting crypto you don't want anybody getting any of these other diseases floating around in the water. Because, you know, there's some nasty people going in there, but, and not every, I don't mean, but not everybody's, well, maybe I shouldn't say nasty. Maybe not, maybe not nasty. Okay, you got people ain't dudes don't do a real good thing, washing their nether regions going in the water. So there's things floating around. Well, UV does a really good job sterilizing that, but then you still have to remove it from the water. But one of the problems I have with UV is, you know, we got to have Cya in the water to help reduce the degradation of chlorine from UV rays from the sun. Well, UV also causes degradation in the chlorine in your pool. The UV system does so it eats up a little bit of chlorine, but the overall picture, it makes the water much, much safer. So and like I said, but you still gotta remove that stuff that it. Neuters, then it reaches up here and snips the little nether region. It makes it where it can't multiply, so it's safe. But then you gotta oxidize it or filter it out. And the way UV works, it's a light the water has to pass through a UV system at a proper flow rate, or it's not effective. It has to be a proper flow rate. So it has to be set up properly, and the water going through, it has to be measured, so you don't exceed the flow rate, or it's not going to do its job. So, and it leaves zero residual in the water, you cannot measure any residual in the water, and it's only working on stuff that passes directly in front of it. You know, it's not doing anything out in the body of the pool. So if you got a dead corner in the swimming pool where you're not getting good water movement, it's not doing anything out there. Your algae can grow on the walls or do whatever. So it's only working on what's passing through the system and what is passing through it at that time. It's not doing anything downstream or upstream or anything like that. All right, hey, it's already break time, so we're gonna go to break we'll be back in a sec, and we're gonna talk about these other things. Hey, Jackie, Hey Frank, have you ever wondered how you can clean between all those pesky filter pleats on a cartridge filter? Yeah, I lose sleep over it. I mean, it's so tedious and it takes forever, I could never seem to get them all clean. Well, here's a pro tip. Try the cyclone filter cleaner. It uses water pressure from your garden hose to spin the filter as you clean it. This allows all the filter pleats to get thoroughly cleaned out. And the best part is it is fast and doesn't hurt your back. Wow. The cyclone filter cleaner. You got it? The cyclone filter cleaner, you can thank me later. Thank and what I love about their filter cleaner is they have this wand. It's the best filter cleaning spray device I've ever used. We've tried many, many different ones. They got a short version now and they got a long version. But I love using those things, even on our de filters. We use their wands. And do we have a code? We have a special discount code. If you go to cyclone filter tools.com and use code deep end, they'll save 10% on your order, so you can buy direct from them. Great stuff. I'm glad I found it. We got one on every truck. My guys love it. Guys don't miss out on this. This is the best filter cleaning system out there.

Frank Disher:

Hey friends, welcome back to the deep end. We're talking again about saving some money, some things that will help you reduce your chlorine usage, all the things, yeah, and make the water safer, yeah. And this is for these things are like, for people that want more pure water with less chemical and they all, they all do a very good job. And we just got through talking about UV, alright, after UV lighting, which is just a sanitizer, it's not an oxidizer, we got chlorine. Well, chlorine is something you can keep your residual in the water. Chlorine does a really good job, you know, where you can a measurable residual that can continue to work in the body of the pool. And next is a very effective oxidizer and sanitizer, and that's ozone. And ozone systems. They go in line, they it injects ozone into the plumbing, in a little bubbles. It's putting this into the plumbing, and it's effective for a short period in the plumbing. So again, it's leaving no residual out into the pool itself, but it's doing a really good job sanitizing and oxidizing, actually destroying the contaminants that are passing through the plumbing. By the time it gets to the pool, it's gone. It's not doing anything again for algae or anything that that's out there on the walls or anything like that. It's only killing what passes through the plumbing, but it continues to work for a ways in the plumbing, but it quickly wipes itself out. All right, that ozone is great if properly set up, but the things I don't like about ozone is one, it introduces bubbles into the system. I'm not a big fan of bubbles in the system, especially some of these ozone systems, they inject into the pump pot. And we've had many shows where we've talked about air in the system and air in the pump pot. Well, no. Zone system will some of them will siphon into the pump pot. So you always see some air in the pump pot, and suction side leaks are a big problem. So you may not recognize you got a suction side leak because you're injecting your own gasses into the system. So that's one thing I don't like. And the vast majority of ozone systems that I see out there in the residential market aren't working and haven't worked in years, and people don't even know it now, some of them have indicator lights and all that stuff, but people, they just think, oh, no, I got ozone, man. You know, it really helps me reduce my chlorine. Oh, that's fantastic. How often do you have to replace the those on generator? Oh, I'm never replaced. And I've had it 15 years. I've never replaced it. Yeah, you just think all you're doing is injecting the air. You're not doing anything effective in the water. And because of that, you know, I'm not a huge ozone fan. I don't like that. It only works in the plumbing, and you got to replace these bulbs, typically, annually. I guess if you, if you have a real short swim season, you may be able to go, you know, two, maybe three years before you have to replace the ozone generator. But it does do a good job. It is an acceptable secondary sanitizer on commercial systems if it's NS 50 rated. But again, it does nothing in the pool itself. It's only affecting the water that's passing through the system that is in the same plumbing with the ozone that's being injected. So that's my thing on ozone. It's kind of meh to me, yeah, but I mean, if you want to use less chemicals, and it has no ill effect on chlorine. So like with the UV we said, it wipes out some of your chlorine. Ozone doesn't do that, but it does help sanitize things that are passing through the plumbing. All right. Next is AOP that's advanced oxidation process, and what it does is it creates hydroxyl radicals. Now, there's two types of systems that I'm aware of out there. There's the one, the the most common one that uses UV and ozone together to create hydroxyl radicals. They react with each other and create hydroxyl radicals, which are extremely effective oxidizers and sanitizers. They not only kill the germs, they also destroy it and make it kind of disappear, and turn it back into nothing. So it removes it from the water, so there's less stuff to be filtered out, but it has zero residual in the body of the water. So if you got areas out there in the pool, and you're that water, you got areas of water that are only passing through the plumbing, you know, once every couple days or something, because you don't have the world's greatest circulation. It's only working on what what passes through the plumbing itself on the way back to the pool. And it has no measurable, no easily measurable way to see if it's, you know, how much is actually in the water. And it does nothing for algae that's on the walls of the pool. You still have to have a secondary sanitizer. Now, if I had an indoor pool that was not subject to the loads of algae that come in from the atmosphere and rains and all that, I might could do just an AOP system and maybe some non chlorine sanitizer and actually go chlorine free. The other way to make hydroxyl radicals is like, what clear comfort does? I love clear comfort. It doesn't use UV and ozone. It uses an electrical process to create hydroxyl radicals and injects them into the water. And either way, it's fine. Think clear comfort says that, you know, they can prove that there's actually creates a larger amount of hydroxyl radicals. And that's the only system I've really installed. I've installed some of the others, but the one I've installed most is the clear comfort system. And I really like it. I think it's great. But again, if outdoor pool, you still gotta have a secondary sanitizer. You have to have keep a residual chlorine in the water, because the hydroxyl radicals are not doing anything for the algae out there on the walls of the pool, and then you can't measure it. Now, hydroxyl radicals, when they react with contaminants and stuff in the water, you'll get a small residual of hydrogen peroxide. You'll never smell it, you won't taste it, but so it does have a very light load of hydrogen peroxide, which is also a sanitizer, but not enough to really make a difference in the pool itself. But it does give you a little something, but it's so effective as an oxidizer for the water passing through the pool. That's probably the better system. Now, all of these are not going to save you money. You know, they're not going to do anything where they're going to reduce your maintenance cost, or that are going to reduce your maintenance cost much. It may help your filter stay a little bit cleaner. They will allow you to run a little bit lower chlorine level. Or chlorine residuals, but they're not a direct replacement, so you still got to do chlorine, but you can reduce the chlorine if you cannot stand knowing that there's these chemicals in your pool and you your whole goal is more pure water. All three of these are very effective, but for the cost of the units and the return on savings, these are not money saving deals. You know, you're not going to see a big impact on the cost that it takes to manage your pool, but your water is going to be more pure with less chemicals. And so I don't want anybody think, man, I'm gonna go put a, you an AOP system on here, and, man, I'm gonna save all this money now it's, I don't know if you'll ever recoup the cost of the unit, but I think you will have more say like your water better. Yeah, yeah, you'll like your water better. But if you use these in combination with borates in a mineral system, I think, yes. All right, now you're getting there, but you still have to have the good circulation, good filtration. You still got to be brushing, you still got to be removing debris. But they're, they're, I don't think they're ever really going to pay for themselves, so I just don't want anybody to get that impression. All right, we're going to go do another short little break when we come back. I got something else I want to talk about.

But what does it mean?

Frank Disher:

Hey, friends, welcome back to the deep end, talking about some really, really interesting stuff here. Yeah, yeah. We're just talking about water and things that, you know, help reduce chlorine cost. But another, the last thing I want to talk about, and these are very popular, it's salt system, salt water, chlorine generators. I think they're more of a break even, at least in our area, and cost, because the units are expensive and you do have to replace the cells. A lot of people think, Oh, I save all this money and and I think you're going to save a little bit of money, but it just doesn't, it's you don't save enough to justify the cost of the unit, in my opinion, if you're running chlorine properly and you're managing your pool properly, I don't think through the cost difference between salt water chlorine generation and adding chlorine, stabilized chlorine or liquid chlorine. I just don't think it's that much of a savings because the cost of the unit and the replacement cells, it's just not there. And is a little bit more to me managing pH, which is huge to me. And if you listen to our shows, pH is huge. Well, salt water, chlorine generating systems raise the pH. And in our area, typically on the average pool that isn't listening to us and doing the 24/7 filtration and circulation of the pool, and you're only running your salt system 810, hours a day, or running your pump 810, hours a day. So your salt system can generate chlorine. It can't keep up. It cannot produce enough chlorine. These systems only produce a little bit of chlorine every day. And the percentages on these, the way the percentages work on these is it's not a percentage of how hard it's working, like, if, like, you go from 0% to 100% Well, 0% is it's not generating any chlorine 100% Percent is if it has water flow, enough water flow to engage the system, then it's generating and these break down in two or three hour cycles. So if you're at 100% it's going to for each three hour cycle, it's going to be producing chlorine that entire three hours. If you put it at 50% it's going to generate for an hour and a half and then not generate for an hour and a half. And what we run into a lot in North Texas, because our environment is harsh, then we end up where people running it at 100% and it cannot keep up, and we end up having to supplement more chlorine anyway. So that's kind of the kicker on it for me. But I will say this, if you're listening to me, and you're running a 24 hour cycle with the variable speed pump and your low speed that you're running all night, and lower speed that you're running between two high cycles, morning and afternoon, the RPMs and the flow that you're setting it at is enough to engage the salt system. Well, then you can produce 24 hours a day and use a smaller percentage, where you're running several cycles. Like it'll run for 30 minutes, it'll be off for hour and a half, two and a half hours. It'll run for 30 minutes to be off an hour and a half, two and a half hours, you know, depending on the system. So I'd like that, because when the salt water chlorine generator is turned off, or the flow is stopped, and salt water chlorine generator stops working in the afternoon, because most people are running during the day, because you should run definitely, if you're only going to run one period during the day, you need to run it when the sun's on the water. Well, that salt water chlorine generator. It's making as much as it can during that period according to whatever percentage you set it at, but then it's not producing for the remainder of the day. So if we're running 24 hours, we can constantly put a little chlorine into the water all day long. And I think that's much, much more effective algae and pathogens and stuff like that, do not get that break period where the chlorine can start burning out of the water a little bit and no different parts of the pool and start multiplying, because they burn out the chlorine in that area to where you're not killing algae faster than it can multiply. So when the salt water chlorine generator comes on, it has to produce enough to wipe out everything that grew and then maintain so running a saltwater chlorine generator 24 hours a day is is better. It's better for the system, better for your pool. It's better for everything but the pH. Part of it, process of generating chlorine from salt does raise pH, so you have to use a lot more acid to keep that pH down. Now we do have the occasional pool, but it's very rare where we don't have that much problem with pH. That's on salt water, but on the vast majority of pools that we maintain that have salt water chlorine generators, pH is an issue. The higher the pH, the less effective your chlorine, your water gets out of balance, because pH is the biggest swinger in LSI, the Langmuir saturation index pH, if it moves up point one, typically your water balance moves up point one. So you get it down to perfect when you treat it, and in just a couple days, it's already way out of balance, and you need to get that pH down. But if we're servicing a pool and we're only showing up once a week, like we're knocking it down to 7.4 7.5 on the pH, and by the time we come back next week, it's already but back up over eight, 8.0 or 8.1 so I don't like that about salt, these big swings and water balance that you get in between services. So just keep that in mind, I'm not anti salt. I'm just on the fence. You know, it's, yeah, that's a way to get chlorine in the water. It's not more pure people, people that think, oh, I don't use chlorine. I got a salt water system. Yeah, you do? You do use chlorine. You're making your own chlorine, but so you're not getting away from less chlorine or anything like that, but the water feels softer. But guess what? With the ALP system, water feels softer. With ozone systems, the water feels a little different. UV, I don't think you notice any difference on the way the water feels. But we can get the same thing with just borates. So if I can make the water softer, which is what a lot of people love about the salt water system. If I can just use borates and use a chlorine system, a chlorine feed system that is more sustainable sometimes than salt is, then I've kind of accomplished that anyway, and I'm not fighting that pH, because pH, again, higher pH makes your water unbalanced, and it makes your chlorine less effective. The higher the pH goes, the less effective your chlorine is, and the more out of whack your water balances. And salt water, you know, I've been in the industry 28 years. Some people say it's not true. It is true. Salt water breaks down things. It increases. Is the deterioration rate of many, many materials, if salt water is more corrosive. Now, I don't buy where people say, Oh, that scale that's two feet up on your wall. That's because you have a salt water pool. No, it ain't. That's a completely different thing. That's not salt building up over there that's two feet above the water. No, that's, that's scale. That's effervescence. That's, there's different reasons for that. People try to blame salt for everything when they're anti salt, but the materials in your pool that salt water is touching it is more corrosive, and it splashes up on the deck. I guarantee you, if you have anything metal in the pool area, or metal chairs or diving board stands or slides or anything like that, anything that has metal on it, gutters, if your house is real close to your pool and you have gutters or even metal window frames, you know a lot of people have these aluminum window frames, you will see a more rapid deterioration of these metal materials from the salt concrete that gets wet a lot from salt water will break down quicker. Y'all look at the bridges up north. You people up there in the you know where the yetis live, look at the bridges. See how corroded your bridges are because of the salt that they put down on the roads in the winter to melt the snow. Salt water is more corrosive. It is going to damage things quicker. But if properly maintained, if you're aware of that, and you just like, don't buy metal furniture, you know, for the kids to jump out of the pool and go sit in metal chairs when they eat their snack or whatever, just don't have metal furniture keep if you got vinyl windows instead of metal windows. If your gutters are plastic, you know, plastics come a long way over the years. If there's nothing in the area that's metal, it's not going to hurt you so bad, but it will. It will mess up your stones and it will mess up your concrete, like there's a lot of masons out there that will not warranty their work if you have a salt water pool, because they've said too many times, they do a beautiful stone job on a pool, and because the people had salt water, that stone deteriorated much quicker. And then the people blamed the Mason for not installing it right. The mason did not go in his garage and make that rock. That ain't what they do. They don't make the stone. Y'all God did that. All they're doing is taking that stone and putting it around your pool, and then you're exposing its salt water where in it cannot hold up to the salt water, and it breaks down. And with salt water poles because of the pH issues, you typically will see more scale at the water line and on tanning ledges and stuff like that because of the spikes in pH that are caused by the saltwater chlorine generator. So again, I'm not anti saltwater chlorine generator. I think it's kind of a break even thing. And if I'm going to break even, why am I going to spend 2020 $500 on a saltwater chlorine generator system to break even? Sure when I can use borates and traditional chlorine methods, either stabilized chlorine methods or non stabilized chlorine methods and less water balancers to keep the water balanced. Why do I want to do that? I don't want to talk you out of it, but I don't want you to think that you're going to save money and your pool is going to be necessarily easier to manage because you have a salt water chlorine generating system, all right, so that is all we got time for today. I want to thank you guys. Make sure you check out our YouTube channel. We're still making the 44 second pool school episodes, where I'm getting a lot of good feedback on those. We're making long form videos. I got a lot of interviews that I got to get edited. Get those out there. We're going to be doing a lot of the eye candy stuff this year, because that's what people want to watch. You know, a lot of people, they just want to sit there and just veg out and watch a pool go from blue to green, or green to blue, or vice versa. They want to, you know, the process of installing something. But we also do a lot of informational videos. Again, if there's not a pork near you, become the poor works near you. But we're gonna go. We'll see y'all next week. Next week would be just after right a Valentine's Day. Be right after Valentine's day before we head to Hawaii. Yeah, going to Hawaii, see y'all. Take care, and we'll Yep, listen for us next week. Need
