Welcome to the Witching Hour Chronicles. I am your host, christine, so I just took a week off. Sorry, there was no episode. Last week I did have to take my 10-year-old daughter to the emergency room. Everything is fine. They were concerned that she might have had what they call a silent seizure in school, but it turned out everything was fine. Not quite sure what was going on, but then I know I had said I was going to try to get a episode out late and it just didn't happen because after that I ended up getting sick and then you know life, life's been busy and chaotic so. But here I am back this week and I am covering the eighth house in the birth chart. We're more than halfway there, people, so almost almost done. After this there'll be four more episodes on the birth chart after this. All right, so let's just get into this.
Speaker 1:So yeah, the eighth house In the eighth house. This is where things it's like the business side of marriage, like your joint bank accounts, investments, like the home you're gonna buy your will. It also is where things get more personal when it comes to business relationships, and it's not always like a 50-50 thing. The eighth house is one of two money houses. So that's the eighth house and also the second house. These are like income houses. This is where you keep, like, your business portfolios, your investments, your large amount of money. This is where you store your debt and stuff like that. So the eighth house it also rules death, but it's also kind of like the phoenix rising from the ashes. So with death also comes rebirth and transformation, and those tend to be in this house. The eighth house is the third of four sascendent houses, along with the second, fifth and eleventh. This is where things become reality, where your big dreams become reality. So, like I've explained in other episodes, every house, there are planets in these houses when you're born. Sometimes there's not, but most of the time you have planets in this house and sometimes you might have more than one planet in each house. So I am going to give you a description of what each planet means in that particular house, and we are starting with the sun.
Speaker 1:Um, people, definitely you have such a big energy about you and people just feel it as soon as you walk into the room. But you also come across very secretive and people can't really figure you out too quickly. You do not like to be vulnerable. So that is the sun and now we are going on to the moon. You have big feelings, big feelings and they tend to just rush right along. In this article I read, they kind of describe it as you know a river that has a really strong current.
Speaker 1:You tend to get really obsessive. You tend to get really obsessive, but you like to totally, you don't mind it. You don't mind when you get too obsessive, because you like to just really dive into things and get to know things, and anything that seems to be on the surface like if it seems too light or superficial it doesn't hold your interest at all. Mercury you are very sensitive to other people's energies and like the unspoken energies. Basically, you can feel everything as soon as you walk into a space. You tend to feel like you can be too much for other people, tend to feel like you can be too much for other people. People tend to consider you a great friend, but you, on the other hand, only trust few. It's very hard to get you to really trust people.
Speaker 1:Venus, venus, you are not just a casual person. You like, especially in relationships, you just like to dive in and give it your all right from the start. You love, definitely want to learn all about your partner's deepest secrets, but you don't really like sharing your own. You are very private and mysterious. You do not like to feel vulnerable or exposed. Alright, mar, you tend to be attracted to people who this article says that, people with a past or somebody who's very brooding. You are not good at goodbyes, but that's really all I was able to find on All right, jupiter, you are very give it your all or nothing at all.
Speaker 1:You can be very charming one minute and very not charming the next, I guess is the best way to put it. Um, you tend to become obsessive. Things for you are very intense. It's every little thing. It's like a life or death subject to you, and a lot of times it doesn't need to be so.
Speaker 1:Saturn, you tend to you want to dominate everything and you want to be in control. You are like the leader of all and you want to be in control. You are like the leader of all and it tends to create a lot of friction in your relationships. Okay, uranus, you let envy and things along those lines get the best of you. Don't like it when things don't go your way and you can be very vengeful and this can be very destructive for your well-being. Let's see Neptune balancing between letting your guides guide you and just totally plunging off the deep end when it comes to being sad and carrying the emotions of other people. You definitely need to find a balance between the extremes.
Speaker 1:Okay, so the last planet I have here is Pluto. You just when you start doing it, you see it through. Okay, that's all the planets I have.
