The Garden Is You: Becoming Process-Oriented vs. Results-Oriented
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the life you’re trying so hard to grow doesn’t need more from you — it just needs your attention?
In this episode, I’m reflecting on what it means to slow down, tend to your own garden, and become more process-oriented rather than results-oriented.
There is so much resistance that comes up when we’re asked to slow down. Especially when we’ve become accustomed to chasing more — more growth, more success, more experiences, more of whatever comes next. We can become so focused on cultivating something new that we forget to nourish what’s already here.
But a garden doesn’t grow because we constantly plant more seeds. It grows because we tend to it.
This is an invitation to come back to yourself, to notice what is already working, and to give your energy to what actually needs tending. Because the way we care for our own garden shapes how we show up for everything else — our relationships, our work, our families, and the life we’re creating.
Maybe the goal isn’t always to get somewhere.
Maybe there is something sacred about becoming willing to be here, in the process, and take care of what’s already growing.
