Make America Happy Again

My Story, Part 1- Finding Strength in the Storm

Wendy Benedict

**Trigger Warning**: This episode contains discussions of childhood trauma, abuse, and addiction. Please listen with care and take breaks if needed.

In this deeply personal episode of Make America Happy Again, I’m pulling back the curtain and sharing my own journey with you. As someone who grew up in a house filled with both love and chaos, my story is one of overcoming real struggles, breaking free from patterns of pain, and healing from wounds that left deep scars. I open up about the challenges I faced growing up as the oldest of six, including the abuse I endured and the impact it had on my life.

This episode is for every woman who feels burdened by life’s struggles, haunted by past pain, or held back by cycles that seem impossible to break. I want you to know that there’s hope, that healing is possible, and that the path to freedom is worth every step. Join me as I begin this two-part series to share my story and why I'm so passionate about helping other women find their own strength, resilience, and joy.

If you’re ready to dive into this journey with me, let’s get started.
