Little Wheelies Cloud Poems.
For the past few weeks, little wee had been on a mission. He loved to cloud watch, and he decided that he was going to spend half an hour in the garden whatever the weather each day after school, so that he could see what he could see, and get some inspiration in order to write some poems for his family.
Little wheelie had recently learned to swim. Now he decided he was going to be a poet, and little wee was actually quite pleased with what he had written.
Little wee had asked all the family the day before if they could give him some time before dinner. He had a surprise for them, all the family all gathered around the dinner table in anticipation of what little wheelie was doing.
Little wee comes into the kitchen.
Are you ready for your poems? He says, oh, poems, how lovely. Yes, we are. All the family say together they had no idea what he had been doing or why he had asked them to be there so little we stood in front of them, cleared his throat
and began to read.
I think I saw an angel, Nana, floating in the sky.
Its wheels were pure in shiny gold, and she looked me in the eye.
The Angel was so beautiful, Nana, and her smile warmed me right through
and when I smiled right back at her Nana. She reminded me of you.
Rainbow.
Today I saw a rainbow when I looked up at the sky. The rain was really heavy and the black clouds were blowing by. The rainbow was so bright and full, I am sure I saw its twin arcing just above that one, like a protective covering
that reminded me of you protecting as my older sibling, you really are a Special rainbow. So thanks for being them.
Pinky bow.
Looking at the clouds today, I definitely saw a bow. It was big and chunky with a pinky tinge as the sun was setting low, of course, I thought of you straight away with your many colored bows, and I managed to capture that special cloudy moment in time of my cloudy Pinky bow, Mama, when I look up at the clouds, Mama, and then I think of you, the biggest, fluffiest, softest clouds like cotton wool show through. I want to snuggle up in them so safely and secure. That's how you make me feel, Mama and I love you so much more
Papa,
Like a streak across the cloudy sky. I saw a motorbike racing by. It had big wheels in zoom so fast if you were in a race, you definitely wouldn't come last.
Did you like them? Little wheelie asks, but I think he could see from their faces that they really did that was so lovely. Little wee said, Mama, I think you have made us all cry.
Thank you for such a lovely gift as a poem.
Papa was so pleased that little wee had seen a motorbike in the clouds. And not only that, but little wee was certain that he could win a race. I loved my poem, little We thank you, said Papa, Pinky bow and rainbow were also really pleased, and couldn't believe that little wee had taken the time to write something so lovely for them and Nana. Well, she had no word.
She just rolled over to little wee and gave him a really big hug.
Little wheelie was very pleased with his poems.
