Who is Amir Muhadith?

Amir Junaid Muhadith, formerly known as Loon, is a former American rapper from Harlem, New York. He rose to fame in the early 2000s, working closely with P Diddy and Bad Boy Records. Amir featured on global hits like "I Need a Girl (Part One & Two)", reaching the top of the charts, and released his own successful album in 2003.

At the height of his music career, Amir made a life-changing decision. In 2008, after a trip to the UAE, he embraced Islam, leaving behind fame, fortune, and the music industry. He changed his name from Chauncey Hawkins to Amir Junaid Muhadith and dedicated his life to faith, personal growth, and helping others.

Today, Amir is known not for his past in music, but for his journey of transformation — from rapper to a man of faith, resilience, and purpose.
