Welcome And A COVID Birth Story

SPEAKER_01

Welcome to the Power Needs Podcast. Right here in Cone Studios where you can get all your content. Photo shoots and podcasts, video editing, whatever you need, we've got it right here. Same with my first son, Carbra, I didn't, it was during COVID, I wasn't allowed in, so I didn't see any of the birth. I wasn't there, I actually wasn't in the hospital at all, they would let me in because I went back to a different household. So I was what happened was I drove down to the the Royal Who was getting contractions. She was like, I think I'm getting contractions. And then they got her in. And I was sitting outside in the car. So I brought her down at like 7 pm in the evening. And I was sitting out in the car until 4am in the morning. They'll probably just be rolling here by sorry. So I went out at like 4am in the morning. I was sitting in the car. And I was ringing back and forth. And every time I was ringing her, she was screaming with the contractions, going, Sean, I was like, what's happening? What's going on? I don't know. Better water spokes to the scab run. And then the car was like, the midwife came on the phone and she was like, Are you still outside in the car? I was like, Yeah, it was freezing. I was like, Yeah, and she was like, uh, Sean, you're better off going home, son. She's gonna be like four centimetres, she's not gonna go anytime soon, go and get a bit of a bit of sleep. But we were staying at home and dad's house at time. It was like four in the morning, I think I'm not gonna go home like her man and dad to let me in the bed, so I just go home to my man and dad's and uh went to bed. Woke up at 10 a.m. Didn't really phone me well, and she's like, This is only five centimetres now, she's only valid an extra centimetre from we were last weekend to you. I was like, right, so when I wake like when I wake up, she's like, we can't really tell at him, but like it'll be it'll be today, she was saying. I was like, right, how about you dad? He's like, did you go and get a wee next sleep in the house in my dad's house? She's like, What? She's like, we can't let you back in here. We can't let you in here.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, for God's sake, you and your big mouse. I was like, What?

SPEAKER_01

My man and dad went in, she's like, it doesn't matter, you went to the different household. And she was like the head, she was like the sister of the war. I was like, oh fuck, wouldn't let me in. So we started looking for her, flipping everything on her own. And uh, no one was allowed in with her. So she was like isolated in there for like two days on her own. Uh and then I met her at the front door with the car seat when the baby was two days old. I was like, fuck, we hear me. But this time around, I was like, you know what, women are machines. Oh my god, God love her. All credit to all the women out there who have given birth or who plan on giving birth, because hats off a whole different experience for me, and I was like, whoa, that's tremendous. Like that's incredible. What women can do. Make a whole other human. And it just converts.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Like it's emotional, it's emotional for men too. I was like, I didn't cry or nothing, but it was like it was emotional, I didn't cry or nothing. It was like I was holding away up. My my my throat was like, oh, what do you say here? Start talking or cry, you know what I mean? Not now, I mean, but at the time, but it was it was class, and then like all these complicated, it's so much going on. It's like sitting I think back, fuck. I do want to have more kids, but I don't want to go see that again. So uh I'm only thinking about what what like what women would go through, you know what I mean?

Cats, Trust Issues And Pure Fear

SPEAKER_01

Having them.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe to get a few cats or something.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, cats aren't for me.

SPEAKER_04

You serious? We we can't be friends.

SPEAKER_01

No, my cat is my child. No, I see I'm a I'm a dog lover, but I wouldn't even have a dog because there's too much um responsibility.

SPEAKER_04

That's because dogs are needy, whereas cats are just independent.

SPEAKER_01

That's why, what's the point of having them? They just stray around on their own, you know.

SPEAKER_04

No, my cat like snuggles up. My cat like literally sleeps beside me like a low.

SPEAKER_01

I could do that. I'm I'm actually afraid of cats. What? I'm afraid of cats. Are you afraid of cats? I've like I'm not afraid of any other animal that I know of, like, other than cats. Like a rat, I would see a rat, I'd I wouldn't run away from a rat. If I've seen a cat, I've like I'd have to change the other show. We went to Brovnik in 2020, 2020. Cats everywhere, and I was like, fuck me. And I was eating I've never touched a cat in my life.

SPEAKER_04

You've never touched a cat?

SPEAKER_01

Are you joking? I'm honestly never touched a cat. No. But I was eating my like eating lunch, having paint. And uh I seen a cat, I was like, I was froze, stiff. I was like, fuck, Dorra, get that cat away from me. And she was laughing. And she's like, I think Dirla, get that away from me, the fuck I was crap. So I had to take an all three paints and it made me feel brave. I was like, ah, they're alright, they're all right.

SPEAKER_04

You're actually scared of cat. Why?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know, just don't trust them. You don't trust cat? I don't trust them. See that I was a kid running, like, we used to come around like like on a pendant and where I live. Or it used to be a black cat, used to always just sit on the wee windowsill or on the way, like um, like the gate beside the gate, and it used to sit, but it was high up, it was like head head when I was a kid. I used to run by all the time and used to scream me. And then I was like, fuck, I don't trust them.

SPEAKER_04

You just hate all cats in? So like the cat family, like lions, tigers, all cats.

SPEAKER_01

All cats. Well, you're never gonna see a lion recognized same as you they're fascinating to look at. But right, but you could look at one on a zoo. I'd look at one, but I wouldn't like like and a cat, obviously a cat's a like a pet, but I just can't. I just I don't trust them.

SPEAKER_04

I don't trust him. So you never watched like Garfield as a kid?

SPEAKER_01

I did, but it's funny, but it's I can't believe that. It's hard, hard explain. Um now my dad has pigeons. I've said this in fucking every episode last two weeks, but my next door neighbour had a cat and always always try to kill the pigeons. Always trying to eat our pigeons.

SPEAKER_04

They're like hunters, that's in their nature. It's not their fault, like it's like us eating chickens.

SPEAKER_01

I know, I suppose we'll be. In wings society. Wing society. Can't be anything but a chicken coming up. But uh yeah, um, just the cats are they're I don't know. I don't know. My my mate was the same as me and then his sister got a cat and I he likes cats.

SPEAKER_04

See my cat, honestly. Like I have him in a wee boo tie and all, like he's he's grey, he's gorgeous, these big piercing yellow eyes.

SPEAKER_01

You see the baldy cats, what are they?

SPEAKER_04

Uh yeah. I don't know if I could own one of them. They feel weird, they're like oily. Why are we just talking about cats? This is so wrong.

SPEAKER_01

It's like I always look at like the big baldy cats for like really, really rich people having them or something.

SPEAKER_04

Why are like I think they're really expensive to buy actually.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Probably because they don't share anything.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but like, I don't know, they look weird.

SPEAKER_01

They look weird like no, no, it's crazy. They're like we fucking they're not be cold, like freezing.

SPEAKER_04

I think they are freezing, yeah. I I don't know. I'm gonna have to do my research after this book.

Sponsor Shoutouts And Street Food Energy

SPEAKER_01

Big shout out to that praise guy helping plenty of people win plenty of praises, head on over to their page, see what's in store for you. Imagine you won. Imagine you won. You watched this episode and you thought, fuck, I'm gonna do the praise guy, you know what? I'm gonna do it now. And you won a big praise. All you have to do is buy me a pen. That's it. So head on over to their Instagram, check out their link, see what praise are in store for you. Big shoutout to the Wingster on the Lisbon Road, the best chicken tenders this side of the Mississippi. I'm telling you, finger licking I'm telling you now, you'll not be licking your fingers. You'll be sucking them. Cause it's that good. Do you hear me? Get yourself down to Wingsa Saturday, try their tenders, try their burgers, try all their sauces. Unreal. 100%. So how have you did you enjoy the floor? You in the floor. I think we got a content you were eating and you were doing day two, the the food flow was just.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was, and oh my god, like I loved it. I thought that it was an amazing atmosphere. Belfast was just buzzing, everybody was happy. Like all the they they had notorious street food there, they had like you know, toasty, toasty box and I, which are amazing. I'll say then all the sweetie stuff I'd done as well. And the fumfare. See the big thing that got together.

SPEAKER_01

I got on yesterday, I did you get on? I think it's on that, no way I'm a skirt of heights. My son didn't meet the heat requirement, which was a godsend, because I was not getting on that. Um it's actually quite scared. And I'm a skirt of heights as well.

SPEAKER_04

And uh Heights and cats, right?

SPEAKER_01

No, heights and cats, that's it. Can you swim? Yeah, I can swim. See, see, when I was a kid, I wasn't afraid of hates. I think it's someone who've got responsibilities, eh? Um, probably don't show them, but I think I have responsible responsibilities. And uh I just asked a hates now. Whereas when I was a kid, like I was ever claimed with them paylons, no, my big paylons, like on assistant, just kind of people are like, What are you doing with that? And I was like, uh, love it, but see now I get on them roller coasters, fuck my nerves wreck.

SPEAKER_04

It's like it's because see them fumbars are like through up in 30 minutes. Whereas like if you go to Altin Tars or something to know the engineers on it, but you forget, like I I was in the Alton Tars are a few months ago, and you forget that you know they're breaking down all the time. See, we never are. One broke down and it seems never, one broke down, but everyone's like, Oh my god, I can't believe we got on that. And I'm like, listen, no, lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, you're fine. Plus, they were stuck in, it's not like you get on them.

SPEAKER_01

Did you get them twice? One after that. I got on the waltzers, worst thing ever done. Sick as a dog, I got out of it. Did they spin you like mad? And it was just sheet weight, and it was like, you look like a corpse, and I was like, Oh, I just stood fucking absolutely bait. I was like, Why did I do that? I paid to get on that in Fidigas, and then they'll be good. I was like, Why the fuck did I pay to get on that roller coaster or whatever it is, the waltzers? And I was just like, oh, just for a good 20 minutes I was scribbled, couldn't move.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god. I love the waltzers, but you can't have like a meal and then go on the walls.

SPEAKER_01

I had a paint, that's the worst thing as well. But it was so much so good, like the atmosphere. We've been in most days on Saturday, it was uh Friday and Saturday, it was fucking heavy and busy, like crazy. It was busy, yeah. The atmosphere was unbelievable.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_01

And then you look at like all the like content people were getting there. Like seeing loads of people getting content, and just there was just so much to do. I did one at the end.

SPEAKER_04

I did one at the end. I it's coming back next year, uh. Which is amazing. Can we not get our Christmas market like that? I seen Matt Stitts video and he was like, can we like petition to get like our Christmas Belfast Christmas market like that? Wouldn't that be amazing?

SPEAKER_01

Just the whole, you use the whole city as a market.

SPEAKER_04

Well, it's not just I just loved it. The the Belfast has never been like that.

SPEAKER_01

Never and like you'd the feel on and the false park, you'd the flow on in the town, and it's just like so much going on. It was amazing. Amazing. Someone one thing, one negative thing I have to say is yesterday I was in the town, yep. I had loads of people stopped me for photos, all like people cultures like mainly. Um they don't know, they all love me, right? But they all stopped me, loads and loads of people sent me photos um for either boxing or the podcast or whatever. One fella yesterday stopped me around and goes, Yeah, like more he runs over. I'm with my two kids, my wife, and we were just backing the fun for literally walking over the 39 goals. He goes, Yeah, you give a fool. I was like, oh, hell up here. He's like, uh He's like, Woman I think it calls a woman, your woman, his wife, his girlfriend to kill him like he goes. He doesn't move and I start me going, he said something smart, and I was smart and marked me. I was like, What? You're not a fucking champ. And I wasn't even taking back, but I was like, You had a laugh, and I was like oh fucking champ. More of a chomp. I was like, You fucking handle off. You come over and ask me for a follow up, and you're fuck off. Yeah, like my my applause just went out, don't feel like and I walked away and then I was looking back at his man down, I weren't even speaking to him, so he was just all obviously black. You know what crazy look people have in their eyes and they're just drunk and they don't even know what they're doing. That's what I started to notice. Whenever I realised what he said, I was like, and he was like, he wasn't even there, he wasn't even doing it, he was like, I was like, and I looked over to his parents, two parents, and his girlfriend sitting at the table. Not one of them, but I was just like as if we're not with him. And I went over and I sat down and had a drink. And it was laid music on, I was enjoying my late music, and I was just like he's annoyed me so fucking much, I just went over and slapped him like and Dor was like, Why are you letting him know your day? And I was like, fuck. And I looked over, no one at the table was holding him or even looking at him facing him. So we just sit and swap. And then they walked by like 15 minutes later, and Derby was like, Don't say anything, don't say anything. And there he was walking on his own. Fucking matters, like, absolute matters. So anyone out there like that, it's a stare we are to become the world. Fuck's sake.

SPEAKER_04

I know.

SPEAKER_01

Like getting photos all week, sweet, every everybody's bringing it, and just one person can why even come over.

SPEAKER_04

There's always one. There's literally always one that has to run it for everyone. I don't know. You just need to just let it go over your head. I think that's the best way.

SPEAKER_01

Because it's like you're your family, I know what I mean, and you're getting hit ratchet. But it's like it was a the whole city was class because it was so good for families, you know what I mean? It wasn't like I didn't see one bit of trouble where people were fighting or people were fucking. Me neither, actually. Not one bit of trouble. Everybody was laughing. People can't wait to get like videos of stuff, like negative stuff and put it up. I know didn't see any of it. Didn't see I haven't seen one video yet, apart from the swing movie, the swing that you

Heights, Waltzers And Doing It For Content

SPEAKER_01

get on. Jaws music. Jaws music.

SPEAKER_04

To be fair, it was a really good view of the whole city up there. And as I said, lightning never strikes a twice.

SPEAKER_01

You're hearing that tell a tale.

SPEAKER_04

Oh no, and I went on it twice. One for YouTube, one for TikTok, and I went up one after each other, and it was absolutely fine. No, it was terrifying. I didn't.

SPEAKER_01

Is the video around for TikTok and for YouTube? Is that what it was? Like, yes, so I do two.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so I do.

SPEAKER_01

But did you upload them in?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I'd have to have a way to download it.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, so I did like my so I've done like a nice weird, you know, like aesthetic one and on on TikTok, and then my real reaction on YouTube, I was screaming. I didn't expect it to be so high. It was terrifying, and you're in with this wee tiny like band across you.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that's like it's that's that's our saving life a little bit.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and you're literally held up by these two wee tiny strings, and like, oh, maybe this wasn't a good idea. Yeah, but at least you know the people that were stuck up there for an hour, right? At least their their things didn't come on clip.

SPEAKER_01

At least they got a view of Belfast for for an hour.

SPEAKER_04

For an hour for like take it all in. And they got their tokens back in the way off.

SPEAKER_01

Take it all green. Back again next year. Take the tokens for next year.

SPEAKER_04

Funderland, hopefully they have it at Funderland.

SPEAKER_01

Funderland, is that still coming? No, Fundamania, sorry. Fundamania. Is that about your owner?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's coming in like a couple of couple of months, it'll be like spooky. It does, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's mad. Summer's almost over now.

SPEAKER_04

Like, oh no, I know don't say that. I'm dressed like Susie in the summertime and I was walking down, I was like, here I could have brought a jacket like it would be that cold.

SPEAKER_01

I gotta be a bit darn. I get darn. Like when it when the summer's ending and it's coming in the winter, I hate winter, but on the opposite end of it. I was actually saying this the other day, I don't get like I don't appreciate when I'm living it, like in the summer, because I'm a scared of a rent. I'm fucking I don't want this in the end. Whereas like start of spring, I start to get excited. I'm like, this is my hobby thing, because I know it's coming from the summer, but then when summer comes, I'm like, fuck's sake, it's gonna be over soon.

SPEAKER_04

It's literally nearly over soon. Yeah. I know, it's awful. Um, but I do love autumn like, but it's like, do you know when it comes into like January and it's like, oh I do.

SPEAKER_01

That's a very autumn y dressure. Like orange and yeah, orange flowers.

SPEAKER_04

I thought it was quite summery, but here we are. But I'm actually going to America here in three weeks, four or three weeks. I'm serious? Where are you going? Florida?

SPEAKER_05

Florida.

SPEAKER_04

I'm going on all in big roller coasters. I'm I was watching them on YouTube last night and I was like, I'm not really. Like they look massive compared to like our stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, big time. Because even like uh the Disneyland Florida and stuff might be much bigger than the one in Pars here. Like in the one in Pars here is massive, so I can only imagine how big it is.

SPEAKER_04

Like I'm not going to Disneyland actually when I'm over. I'm just doing universal. Universal, I'm not sure. Universal. Because I was just looking at all the roller coasters and I'm like, you know that's sick. I can't wait.

SPEAKER_01

I love a roller coaster. As well, imagine all the food to food.

SPEAKER_04

I know I'm doing Halloween horror nights as well, so I know the big skirt. So like they have all like spooky themed food. I'm excited and puzzled can't weat.

SPEAKER_01

What's your favourite? Do you like are you like a seary or sweet or saved? Sweet. Sweet.

SPEAKER_04

Sweet, 100%.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know what I am. I was always sweet, but uh now recently I'm starting to be now while I'm alarm sweet, I'm sweet. Because I can't eat savory rather eating sweet.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, exactly. You have to have like one after the other. It's like a big partnership.

SPEAKER_01

There we see people who like I don't know if you're a type of person, but someone who can eat like let's say chocolate first and crisp after. I can't finish the finish on chocolate. I always had to finish on sweet.

SPEAKER_04

Eating them together, sweet and savory together. Oh my god, elite combo.

SPEAKER_01

Never tried it. So, but Taro brought out chocolate flavoured crisps, or was it the other way around?

SPEAKER_04

No, it was Tarot in the chocolate bar. It was humbling, I like it.

SPEAKER_01

See? How can we go together? It's okay.

SPEAKER_04

Because I don't think they were using nice chocolate. Right, but see if you get like a freddo, right? Even though they're like a fiver now.

SPEAKER_01

I know what the fuck. There were five people. 34 next week.

Nostalgia Snacks And Sweet Vs Savoury

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god, the nostalgia. Yeah, I'm I'm 33, so we're basically the same age. Like, but uh, do you remember you used to go into the shop with a pound?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and you used to like such a monster. We used to get an elite monster with a pound.

SPEAKER_04

And tip tops you used to turn them upside down about the corners of the.

SPEAKER_01

I used to get like re-house shops up where I lived. Like, there was loads of like loads of house shops, but we used to go to a house shop and it was like I always remember my like what I would get with one pound twenty, and it was like, do you remember cheater? Like the crisps, cheater?

SPEAKER_04

No.

SPEAKER_01

They're like full waters, like cheetah, roast beef and pickle. No, I remember five, so cheater, cheater, crisp with a goat. Of all crisps there is. I know I don't remember. Can you remember cheater?

SPEAKER_00

Or cheater the X one clue?

SPEAKER_01

No, cheater were like, I wonder if I can get them up here. Cheater had like gammon flavour cris and all that the best. Um, roast beef and pickle, sour cream and chave. All these hair. They were like the first ones I seen coming out with like uh Crinkled Chris.

SPEAKER_04

I don't even remember that.

SPEAKER_01

I used to get a packet of Tudor, but they were the dear ones, they were like 40p a packet back in, and I was there for Chris.

SPEAKER_05

Probably.

SPEAKER_01

Um uh so I would have got a packet of Tudor crisps. Um a Galaxy Caramel and uh bottle of bubblegum vizier. Oh and then I had like five P left worth of five wheat gums, five jellies, and uh it was £1.20. Now you wouldn't get a can. Now you wouldn't get a bottle of fucking bubblegum vizier for it.

SPEAKER_04

No, you wouldn't, that's actually ridiculous. Do you remember Frosties? In the weekends. And oh my god, no, nothing ever comes coach. Can you not remember any of these? I never seen them in my life.

SPEAKER_01

So see the M ones are Mandela effect.

SPEAKER_04

Where is it?

SPEAKER_01

Gammon and pineapple, look. And then you had like, but they were always the fucking coats.

SPEAKER_04

No, I remember five.

SPEAKER_01

Like Tudor crisps. I don't remember the- What are you doing?

unknown

31.

SPEAKER_04

So 31. You know the McGavin character does the like the barbecue takeaway? What's he called? Grazers or something? Yeah, if you have any of the stuff, I'm gonna try and hit him out Thursday.

SPEAKER_00

He does this one for like a dino, just like a big bar back of room, but he's gonna like the dino rib or something, and it looks good.

SPEAKER_04

I'm gonna go up on Thursday. I I wanted to go up this week, but he was like, I have to like take time off and go on all day or I'm getting it, I'm gonna get a divorce. I was like, fair yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Cafe barb?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What are they called?

SPEAKER_00

Coffee shop season.

SPEAKER_01

Season. Season coffee. Do you have one?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god. On camera?

SPEAKER_04

That's why it doesn't look 30 ball apart.

SPEAKER_01

Everybody writing them up. I don't want to call this name. Have you a favourite, like a favourite food? Like, what is your like for me? It's Indian. Indian food is just the goldness.

SPEAKER_04

That would be the bottom for me.

SPEAKER_01

See, it's not the way people are, but it's like for me, Indians.

SPEAKER_04

Everybody's so different, aren't they? So if you put up a food review and you're like, oh my god, like I think this place is amazing, someone's like, that's stinking, but everybody is different. So you're like Indian's your favourite, it's my least favourite. No, I do like it, but like maybe like twice a year, kind of vibe.

SPEAKER_01

Twice a week, kind of yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Ah I see.

SPEAKER_01

I've had it twice already and it fucking Sony Monday. I had it like on Saturday, and like oh, Friday night and Sunday night, two days in a row.

SPEAKER_04

What do you get from an Indian?

SPEAKER_01

Madras, chicken thick madrass, super spicy. Pillar race, garlic melon, massal chips, hard to work, we onion basic in there as well.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, we onion bassi for good measure.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I would say, no, any food that would be my favourite would be in West Belfast. I really do think West does it best.

SPEAKER_01

I think so we will.

SPEAKER_04

I absolutely the food up there is just a little bit.

SPEAKER_01

I say this on Shane Todd's podcast saying like West Belfast have the best Chinese, I think, in the world Chinese takeaways. No, I'm not. Not so many Chinese takeaways, but I do think that the best food.

SPEAKER_04

I love Urban Fire. Now, see now see if I put up as many food reviews. Now, normally I film everything that I'm eating, but I go to Urban Fire for all my family occasions. Every every time you just couldn't film it. Everyone would be like, piss off. Like you're you know what I mean? We're sick of looking at Urban Fire. Love it there. They also own the little Delhi Mexican, which is unbelievable. They have a spice bag.

SPEAKER_01

I done a food review in their 2020. I was doing this be food blog, because I I had a fight during lockdown and I had to cut like weight for months and months. Like I lost, like it was right there, and like the lowest weight I've ever been in the whole time. But the fate was cancelled. Because of uh COVID, so it was delayed, and I was just holding weight for so long. Um, and then I was like, Had all these things in my head, I'm gonna do a food blow when I finish. And I did, and done it, I'd done it for a week, and the fuse were massive, and I was like, fuck, I can't sustain this, like, it's too hard. Because every day I was eating out, but my favourite over the whole week I've done was Max and Delhi.

SPEAKER_04

They're just unmatched. Yeah. Like, I feel like anything they touch towards the gold. Also, Amelia's Kitchen, unbelievable. Also, Wing Society is up there. Do you know their mozzarella bricks? Oh my god, like oh my god, please bring me some out. Yeah, um big cheese pull in cheeses, we trust. Um, where else? I don't know. I love Chinese.

SPEAKER_01

Chinese.

SPEAKER_04

I love waka.

SPEAKER_01

Waka, waka dry-through Chinese in the boucher road. Three chips, three salt and silly chips are unbelievable because they're like, you just eat them. Like, never see you eat a pack of crisps. That's the way I eat them chips. I just eat them all day.

SPEAKER_04

They do garlic butter chicken balls now. Heart attack material, like, but oh so good.

SPEAKER_01

Wal away, one away, I'll keep you all right. We take them all away, give me sweet.

SPEAKER_04

Sometimes I just think they're just settling the house with the weaving bread and you know, slice of cake.

SPEAKER_01

Give her a cake. Don't really need to. Don't eat to no no.

SPEAKER_04

No, I do it. Like, uh, but very simple. I like very simple food when I'm in the house because you know, if you're eating like loaded fries, like you need a ring of bark stuff, maybe we bowl of cereal for dinner and all, just be humble, remember who I am. Um I love sweet stuff, you know, like like old school cake and all the custard. Oh my god, get in and around my face. Love it.

SPEAKER_01

Man, yeah, I would neglect at dinner to eat her custard and cake. Like she weren't gonna have dinner, I'm just gonna have because I want to have a cake. It's in her hair. She's like, I'm not eating dinner. So she'll not eat any dinner just so she can have uh so she doesn't feed really, so she'll just have like sponge cake with custard. She's like, no, I've got this cake, I'm gonna eat the cake. I don't want no dinner, I don't want no dinner. Dinner's more important than a fucking. It's like, no, I just want to have it.

SPEAKER_03

Is it though?

SPEAKER_01

I know. She's like, I just have to like because if she eats the dinner, she still won't eat that. You know what I mean? She likes she can't avoid that. She's like, I want and I'm gonna eat it. So I'll just not eat the That's a woman that knows what she wants. Yeah, there you go. Appreciate people like that. Respect, Margaret Al. Shout out to Charles Mum. I'm a real sweetie, too, like and where's your favourite sweet place to go?

SPEAKER_04

Or what is your favourite dessert ever?

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what I loved? And it's a way now, remember black box? The cookies, or the donuts or something that's been roads in and new castle and stuff still. No, they close it to the show.

SPEAKER_03

It's just TikTok shop, mate.

SPEAKER_01

No way. They had like these are these things called denolis.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I know. Yeah, big.

SPEAKER_01

They were just having, having.

SPEAKER_04

So so good. Having do you know where you need to try? Mingulato and Moira.

SPEAKER_01

Mingulato.

SPEAKER_04

They make this purple taro flavoured like gelato, like in their shop, and it's oh my god, unbelievable. And it's all like like space themed desserts.

SPEAKER_01

Seriously. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

And he serves her to be hatched on the side, it's so cute.

SPEAKER_01

Great.

SPEAKER_04

And he's a lovely fella as well, so that actually makes me want to buy awesome more because he's a nice guy, do you know what I mean? Um, but yeah, mint gelato.

SPEAKER_01

But there's just food places popping up everywhere now, isn't there? Like it's class, like it's like, but then I was thinking about like my there was me, there's no other coffee shop, like there's coffee shops open. I think they're like, that's the way this place can go. See, I train in Amsterdam for like for my training, and there's like there's a restaurant like everywhere, they're just everywhere, and they're busy. Yeah. So if we start to get the food to like the food full like we've had this week, it's more of an inventory. I think people only starting to realise that Belfast is a safe place. Yeah. Nah, like after all, obviously it has like a probably has a wee bit of a reputation from the troubles of people are still wee bit, like, believe it or not, people are still wee bit on the but we're still signed. We're sound. I think we're one of the friendliest cities in the world.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, honestly, you can walk down the street and you can go into a shop and you can buy your stuff and you have a chat. But I love that about us, even if I go travel, I've been traveling a lot, and you'd be like talking to someone and like say you're in London, for example, I'd be like, Well, what's the crack did it? And they're just like looking at me, like, take your stuff away. And I'm just like, oh, do people not like you?

SPEAKER_01

Over here, like when I work on the bus tours in the town, all the

Belfast Craic, Boxing Roots And Big Names

SPEAKER_01

ones. Did you work in the bus tours? I were you the people that like the we read. I was on the news, and all I was like, I caught a rover. Was it a street rover? A mugger, someone mugged some girl's uh purse and I chased them. I chased them, caught them, cut a purse back, and uh gave it back to the girl. And then I put a restatus up on Facebook because this was like 2015, and some news, some guy from fucking Irish News on the 10 news for me, was like, yeah, was that true? I was like, Oh, that's true. It actually happened twice in one day. I was like, oh wait, 10 minutes, we put it up, and then next time fucking BBC or UTV or something came on me and was like, oh, I think, oh, go ahead. The boss company were loving it because they were getting all this free exposure of it. Um and I was just fucking setting up a wee bit of publicity, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03

When did you start boxing?

SPEAKER_01

When I was eight. I had my first fate when I was eight, so 26 years ago.

SPEAKER_04

Have you ever have you ever boxed with Tommy Fury?

SPEAKER_01

Nah, I've seen him like a few things, but I've never actually boxed with him.

SPEAKER_04

Have you ever spoke to him?

SPEAKER_01

Nah, I've spoken to Tyson like Tyson Fury. Is he?

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god, I love his nethame.

SPEAKER_01

His his show in the Africa's class, isn't it? I love it.

SPEAKER_04

I love his wife.

SPEAKER_01

It's uh She's uh it gives you a real good understanding of like the way they live and the way they but it it it's class.

SPEAKER_04

I I like it, you know what I mean? It's it's what's Tyson like in real life?

SPEAKER_01

He's a wee bit, I see him fairness a bit odd, like he's a wee bit like you don't know what you're gonna get with him. Like you'd be on the edge talking to him because like he's like fuck off, like shooting stuff, and then the scene's like talking to you, and it's just he's too much, I think. He's just we've I've never really met Conor McGregor, but I imagine that's the way Conor McGregor would be. Like a wee bit like everybody in his company, you know what I mean? We put you on the edge a wee bit.

SPEAKER_04

No, definitely not.

SPEAKER_01

Definitely not that. Nah, definitely not that. He's like the most healed person in Ireland.

SPEAKER_04

Like he actually is.

SPEAKER_01

People don't know him. Like that meanwhile in Ireland and stuff is going around, like interviewing like industry interviews going on. There's one person you wish was an Irish who would be, and every single person in every county who was saying Conor McGregor. It's like that's fucking he's just fan.

SPEAKER_04

Like Do you remember he used to be like Top Dog and I?

SPEAKER_01

He was a fucking sold out club park just as well as Kitty Taylor did, like, five years ago, six years, well, maybe longer not, eight years ago. Nah, like he wouldn't sell out fucking a small, like no one likes him.

SPEAKER_04

Nah, no one likes him, Chris. And if nobody likes you, like, why were you gonna like really? Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

I know, fucking hell. That's just a a good fall from Grace. I know. But he's trying to he's he's he's doing what most people are doing, just turning the gourd and trying to hope that that saves him. He's trying to run for presidency and all that shit.

SPEAKER_04

I know, uh that maybe we're just gonna be. Maybe we shouldn't give him any or time.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, we're not gonna be able to.

SPEAKER_04

But anyway, can you please go and meet Tommy Fury and let me know what he's like? Why? Well, because I've seen him in love and I just want to know if he's like he is in real life.

SPEAKER_01

He's just um like see him and his is he married? Is that his Yeah, it's Rolly May. But are they married?

SPEAKER_04

Like, no, don't think they're married, but they have two kids together.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but like she's like every she's the most loved woman, I think, and I don't know one person who doesn't like one girl that doesn't love her. Like, every single girl loves her. I'm like, and I've seen this other girl who looks really bit like her on TikTok saying people were saying, uh like I'm a teamy version of fucking Molly Mae and all this here like and all Molly Mae reached out to her and all, so they've got this we friendship going on. I'm like, she just seems like a normal, she's just a normal everyday person, but that's why everybody can relate to her and just like probably love her for it, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think she's a legendary 100%.

SPEAKER_01

Uh do you start with Love and it's just over, is it? No. My my wife was hooked on it there for you, so he's like living it up, going the finale at the finale's on the night, and I'm like, fucking hell, I can't watch this.

SPEAKER_04

I watch TikTok. Like, do you know what it keeps coming up for me and I'm like fascinated? Conspiracy theories? Conspiracy. I think I mess them in my head. I'm like, hmm, is this are we living in a simulation?

SPEAKER_01

Do you know why uh like do you know why we got such a good heat wave or because there was no planes? The the the the fuel prices the fuel prices were so high they couldn't fly chemtrails. That's when we had like two weeks of sun, straight sun.

SPEAKER_04

Apparently we're going through another heat wave on Thursday, it's going to be 26 degrees. You'll be loving it. You'll be all happy. I love it. You'll be skipping.

SPEAKER_01

I'll be in the element. I'll just be in my element. Okay, the go here with a grub.

SPEAKER_04

Oh my god, that looks unbelievable.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we try to. I don't think we're saying here like present presentation, what are Sam?

SPEAKER_04

It's 11 laughing as well. That looks unbelievable.

SPEAKER_01

I had to get this up. That's a good one.

SPEAKER_04

Is that their new menu then? Is their new menu?

SPEAKER_01

The goo cure. So I'll go here today. We're in Moins of Saturday. We have Holly the Destroyer. Quality guest temperature today, and we have the best setup this side of the Mississippi.

SPEAKER_04

This side of Mississippi. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_01

It's actually not that bad eat this time in the morning, is it?

SPEAKER_04

It's got rice in its time.

SPEAKER_01

We're on the half.

SPEAKER_04

No one knows like what time it actually is, so.

SPEAKER_01

I know. I would be um I don't know if it's any bit nervous about this gravy thing because we shouldn't go on the like should gravy go on this? Do you think anyone would go for that?

SPEAKER_04

You do what you want your bloody shot. I know I'll here.

SPEAKER_01

How's

Hardstyle Radio And Learning To DJ

SPEAKER_01

the radio? You're still doing the radio, are you?

SPEAKER_04

Mm-hmm.

SPEAKER_01

How's that going? Do you love that? Do you prefer it in that? Because there's no like cameras or anything, it's just like me talking and it's actually really nerve-wracking, you know. So I really I couldn't do it, like, personally, obviously you already know because I curse or you call them two seconds.

SPEAKER_04

No, you'd be cancelled. No, you can't curse, like, um, but I'm the only commercial heart style radio show in the whole of Northern Ireland. Serious? Yeah, so I'm the only person that does Heartsteck, but it's a niche taste, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Do you like do you love Heartstyle? Is that like your like because I know people who are hard, like I have friends who just listen to Heartstyle.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I'm the same.

SPEAKER_01

Um they just any other music, they just hate it. They're like nah. No, I do like other music.

SPEAKER_04

No, I have a trance show on a Friday, and on a Saturday I do hardstead. Um but I do, I go to DEF CON every year. Not this year, it was cancelled. Um Masters of Hardcore, I fly over to Holland to go to all them things.

SPEAKER_01

That's the way he is, uh Big T he goes to like I feel like we and him should be friends. We should be fucking good friends. Like he we he was at my stack or made my mate stack. And I went in this room and it was just like boom boom. I said, What may I give me a sort of head stay? Hard stay, no stay, get out the fucking. That's that kind of person.

SPEAKER_04

But apparently people with ADHD, like more out of ADHD. So people like that like itches my brain. You know what I mean? I love it.

SPEAKER_01

Because yeah, we fucking shooting you.

SPEAKER_04

Or else it comes to your level and just it's so my hero of all time is called Dr. Peacock, he's my screensaver, like don't want to brag, but like anyway, I mean. He's like the bet I guess like plays back on all the categories.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know why these days. Like I used to love Horse Day, by the way, when I was a kid. Like Luna, and I don't know if they would be Horsedale. Like Luna, uh Pavel, Showtak, all M. That's what I ever listened to when I was younger.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Well, anyway, he got me a radio link for my show recently, so he's like, You're listening if it's Dr. Peacock, you're listening to Holly of the Story and Energy Bottom Sex. I was crying. It's like Dr. Peacock sent you a video. I was like, Oh, he sent me a video, I was like, Oh my god, Van Garden. Of him.

SPEAKER_02

Are you going? Did you ever like would you ever DJ? Like, do we better DJ yourself like Proper Horse T? Maybe I'm learning. Oh.

SPEAKER_01

I've unraveled a Wii secret. There's gonna be a Wii. A Wii uh DJ night here probably wee bit of horse tail going on. In a telegraph or something.

SPEAKER_03

I doubt it. Like no one even likes this music anymore. Oh my god, this is amazing.

SPEAKER_01

I think there is. I think like there's still those who because I I know lots of people who go to like still go to like Amsterdam and Hall and stuff like but they're like like they're hardcore drug heads, you know what I mean? They're like taking actasy tablets or they love that shit and me.

SPEAKER_04

I don't take anything at all. I don't take anything, I don't even drink.

SPEAKER_01

You couldn't be fucking red already, isn't he?

SPEAKER_04

And I just don't take anything, I just love the music. I just love 200 BPM. Absolutely love it, which is mad. Um I'm actually going over in November to see Dr. Peacock in concert, so he comes on with a full orchestra and sit and he's playing beats like and there's a full orchestra on stage.

SPEAKER_01

How did you get in there? Like it's just when you were younger, just like he even introduces Horstein like that.

SPEAKER_04

Just one time I went to this Reeve in Holland and I was like, here there's nothing like this. And I have full gabrieths and all that, it's actually mad.

SPEAKER_01

I went, I was in I remember when I was a kid, getting on a taxi, a black taxi to go to school, and I had heart stayed playing like it was like fucking eight in the morning. And someone goes to me, whoa that's gonna fucking like it's eight in the morning and you're listening to it. I was like, so what's powerful? But then I was like, they're actually seeing now when I look back, I go, they were right, like it was eight o'clock in the morning, what was I doing, blasting hard stage? No, they're out in the school and be getting in trouble.

SPEAKER_04

I need actually, right, this is what I was listening to on the way over. I'm just gonna play a wee quick snippet of it. Have you ever heard of Up Tempo?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_04

Hold on, have you ever heard of the greasy be like so rude centered on this? Have you ever heard of the grease?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_04

That's it. I'm trying to find it. But I was just casually driving over to this podcast, listening to this, trying to relax beforehand. Hold on, I've like.

SPEAKER_01

There was see, like when you pop up with save people in traffic and they've got the music blasting, you'd be one of the ones that have a bummer.

SPEAKER_04

Oh no, I get I'm I'm in front of the car to be better.

SPEAKER_01

But I enjoy it, I had to enjoy seeing it. Like, see, like you were saying, yesterday, people walking around in the flat or all week in the flat being happy. Yesterday it was raining, like raining happy. We were sitting umbrella outside your work and I had a pet, and everybody walking by I was licensing. And I was like, I ain't getting so much joy from watching these people because they're all happy.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Even though it's raining, I mean, look how happy there.

SPEAKER_04

I love that. So this is this was listened to in the way over. That's okay.

SPEAKER_01

Look at me, but you think I'm not.

SPEAKER_04

I know it's gonna be a bit different. Like do you know the tailor fresh stuff that isn't for me?

SPEAKER_01

He's all based over.

SPEAKER_03

What music do you like? Taylor Shift.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so it's not uh EDM I'm big into it than that. Like I've listened to a lot of EDM remixes.

SPEAKER_03

Future favorite artists?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, wouldn't really have your favorite. Uh really half favorite artists. I think like Yeah, I think ED has them in two.

SPEAKER_04

What do you call him look macombs? Is he related to you?

SPEAKER_01

My husband. Um Who's your favourite artist?

SPEAKER_02

Favourite artist. I like rap music. Really like rap music.

SPEAKER_04

Do you like Ranch a Kid?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I love him. I would say my favourite rapper is probably of all time's MM.

SPEAKER_01

So it's hard. I mean he's a few. But I mean I like the game, 50 Cent, that type of stuff, Tupac, biggie, all that crap, but obviously they don't bring out your music. So you sort of do your fair listen to. Kenny West is class as well. But do you actually like him? He's alright. He's alright. Because it's um see modern day rap, it's not the same no more. That's why it's sort of like that's why I find it hard to have a favourite, a new favourite artist, because it's all like it's all fucking. It's not the same, it's not as raw no more.

SPEAKER_03

You should just start listening to Hard Side. Get back into it.

SPEAKER_01

It's not exquisite no more, like rap music and always an exquisite because only because trying to get commercial? Trying to get commercial, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Or if you think of like Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, MM, how exquisite they were.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't care.

SPEAKER_01

I was a good I was a good guy's music, like rap music.

SPEAKER_04

Eminem. Do you remember like his album, Eight Mile came out whenever I was a kid? I absolutely loved it.

SPEAKER_01

I got a I got the MM show for my like for Christmas one year and I was like, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, see? I was like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_01

My man died thinking like that.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think they realised. I know.

SPEAKER_01

My man didn't realize I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Never she gave me it.

SPEAKER_01

But we C D. I've seen I just have access to the lamp. In the car, like or my son's car, bro. Just blasting, constantly blasting like uh kneecap music. Just kneecap, just flat out, and he's fine about a club on. And I brought up the kill camper. He starts a new week like summer scheme today up in kill camp. And they give a like a wee bag and a jacket and a t-shirt and all this was the GA. And uh he walked up and I says, he says, have no hurling stick. I says, I can't find your hurling stick, he said it's on, I don't know his number. But he went on and he went, it's okay that I've got my kneecap bottle club in the bag. That's a better hurling stick. I haven't had a lot of it. Five.

SPEAKER_03

This was so good.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no. I uh I was here last week after one after my fate. Obviously because when you're fed you would have caught the weird It was like that school, just sat in the trap, like down the trail properly where I can actually enjoy it. Fuck me. Too much, but it was just I couldn't stop eating.

SPEAKER_05

I know.

SPEAKER_01

It was like she got the big burger, I got the bang bang ruby chip, which was named after me. And it was it was like I have to get it, because it's named after me. It's named after you. I always say that, bang, bang, ruby chip, or I've always said that. Like I'm boxing. It's just a wee folk and catchphrase that I've always said. And uh I actually don't even know what it means. Like, when people used to ask me years ago when I was like when we were kids in the club, because it was too ranged. People like how would you be in the boxing for be like, how'd the spar go? I was like, oh, bang, bang, rub chip. Like it was easy, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

Which is the first thing that came to your head?

SPEAKER_01

Love that. And they just stopped.

SPEAKER_04

I love that. I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna have to go and try one of these.

SPEAKER_04

Have you always been friends with Tristan?

SPEAKER_01

Ah, I've been friends with them, known him a long time, like. Um I mean um just all around, good guy. He is. Um how do you know Tristan?

Trolls, Call Outs And Online Boundaries

SPEAKER_04

Wing Society.

SPEAKER_02

Wing Society.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and then one time me and Tristan were getting trolled on Christmas Day, I'll never forget it. I put up a review of Wing Society and Common Market, and some guy on Christmas Day, I swear to God, he won and was trolling me and Christmas, me and Tristan. So me and Tristan were writing back, do you know, for the pound entry fee, and I was like, if that's nothing to do with Wing Society, that's common market, you know what I mean? And plus it goes to Charities who were like, Look, we're grudge of Charity a pound, and this guy on Christmas Day was just going ham at me and Tristan. So me and Tristan were messaging, he was like, Oh my god, like who goes mad like that on Christmas Day or whatever? Anyway, later on Christmas Day, that same guy that was trolling me and Chris Christian, Tristan. I'm sponsored by a Christian, that's why I keep getting them mixed up. But um, yeah, he came on and goes, sorry, like my dad's just passed away and I've taken it out and used to basically, and I'm still annoyed about the pound thing, but I I really I actually really like your content. I think you're like all this of your stuff. And I was like, right, okay, well just don't troll people because that's fine. No, this guy like comments and likes all my posts and he's like Slay Queen. But he was trolling me and Chris um Tristan.

SPEAKER_01

He's just kinda people or some fella like that, exactly that remesses me, madness. I'm not gonna say what, but it was like madness. Like like, what are you talking about here? And it wasn't even close. Like, what do you talk about? I was like, mate, this one on for weeks. So I just started trolling back, like on like sending my videos, voice notes, but like shake his name at like five in the morning because I'm in the gym, he'd be in our gym at like we started, first class half five. Try to get the like five in the morning, and that's he just called, like shake his name and because his name on the same is Darkman or something. I just troll about him and just torture him, send a voice note to Ron Madness, and he just talks back saying Sean I apologize. Um I'll not say anything again. I think fuck, that's the best way to do it.

SPEAKER_04

Like trolls online think they're like invisible. Like until you find out who they are and then you email their job with screenshots.

SPEAKER_01

Say, well, okay. Women can really go in their legal investigation mode and get what they need to get on, but like if you want to catch someone out, just hire a woman to just f just put their pen.

SPEAKER_04

The profile picture on your Instagram story and then um yeah people will do the information all the information you need.

SPEAKER_01

Some fella who's told my brother, right? Nah, he doesn't even know my brother because my brother's like not like a he's not anything, he doesn't even have he's probably gonna fucking take a follow or something on Instagram. This fella doesn't even follow my brother, but even all of my brother's Instagram. Massey them saying something about his kids, they're saying your kids are fucking over something like that. Something says to your daughters, something stupid I got, so my brother about the hideous one he's a lunatic anyway. Got me to put his photo up on Instagram, got everybody put his photo up in Scott, furniture he was. I found out where he lived. And then the cops phoned my brother. He's like, What are you doing? He's like, What? What am I going to do? He's like, oh, his his phone was hacked. We've done the IP address, it wasn't him. I'm sure it was like, it wasn't him. Don't talk shit, it was him. And then they said, Who was it? And I'm like, oh he's like, what was the IP address thing too? And they can wouldn't give him any information, so he's up to hide over. And uh he didn't do anything about it, but he's he's people need called out though.

SPEAKER_04

You can't be you can't be treating people like that, it's actually mental. Do you know it's like you wouldn't put up with it in real life, so why is it okay online? Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

Everyone should just use a passport to get like to get access to uh social media, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

I would answer back a lot, like on Facebook.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't really use Facebook. Facebook's really good for my because I I swear to god I got a few hundred pounds all day for I've never had money in my life on Facebook. I got $375 to my PayPal, I said, what's for? But I have Facebook ads on for my gym at the map. So I was like, what the fuck? I couldn't be and I don't like nobody signed you. I was like, fuck that I give me money for content. Part it's really good for Facebook. Yeah, it's so good. We fly it on Facebook. That's why I'm flying on it. Mark Zuckerberg, keep it Zupperberg I'm calling it. Zupperberg? Zupper.

SPEAKER_04

Mark Zuckerberg. Keep it talking smoking. No, it is really good for money, like.

SPEAKER_01

Um so that's a way forward now for me.

SPEAKER_04

I think they just want all the content creators over there, really. Because like Facebook was kind of bait out for a while, wasn't it?

SPEAKER_01

TikTok's talking green live. Because TikTok were paying these.

SPEAKER_04

I'm not even on content creator fund for TikTok.

SPEAKER_01

They're paying bit of easy to go in.

SPEAKER_04

Like 20p or something.

SPEAKER_01

But at the time I I see it, it confused me because I I sold a mouth tape and there's no thing messing about. I'd be an 800 quid of it in a week. I was like, what the fuck? That's only another show. But I thought if I start, I'm gonna only like I've only figured out how to do it. And it was just me worrying this too tall and being like, Darwin, was I snoring last night? Because I was snoring last night and then she said it wasn't snoring. And I was like, this will save your marriage. And like, I went to Spain a week later and it was like withdraw 1800 euro.

SPEAKER_04

That's amazing.

SPEAKER_01

Great.

SPEAKER_04

That's amazing. But do you ever get like I really don't like TikTok shop? I don't I feel like you can't really turn your profile into TikTok shop or like I hit TikTok shop.

SPEAKER_01

Oi, that's it's always the same ones like what did you pay for them? Like someone's wife shouting at their husband, like they're they're like 100 quid, it's like ah, got them on TikTok shop for 50 quid, like what? And then they're like, but I'm like, fuck me, that's someone like that's a husband and wife selling them all. I was like, fuck bro, just go on fuck. Seriously, it's all this all the same stuff, and it's like look at this here, look at that, and they go just turning to a salesperson.

SPEAKER_04

Literally. I think the best thing to do is make a second account for TikTok shop because that's not what people are following you for, I don't think. And I don't want to be like really salesy. Do you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

But I believe there's really good money in it, like say so, but a lot of stuff on TikTok shop is a little bit shit than you actually bad.

SPEAKER_04

See, to be honest, I'm not gonna lie, like I see a lot of my outfits that I was running around on my holidays, they're like for like 11 pounds sets on on TikTok, like you know, shorts and t-shirt sets. And honestly, I love them. But I'm not selling them, but everyone's asked me where I got them, but I was like, 'Yeah,' yeah, yesterday.

SPEAKER_01

Dor was running like a polka talk cub. And we seen like five other people running, like TikTok shop. She was all busy, TikTok shop. I was like, and everybody running it. I was like, that's class, good.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, clock shop's actually good for like clothes and all, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but see, I bought like I was playing like a massage, like a ms like a knock massage and all stupid shit. And Dor was probably going here and she was like, like, what I'm rattling, like bottle openers and all. I know you still have bottle open all you like, always stupid stuff like that. You're ban, that's just a little bit shit. It's just crazy. And you can never even use it. It's clotter, it's gonna lie around your house.

SPEAKER_04

Literally. I bought those that are like wee tripod things you stick on, you know, if you're like filming in your car or whatever. The car stopped and not video when I'm driving, just my god for it. Before people come for me. But you know, the wee things stick on your window screen and you can kind of film yourself when you're like eating in the car or whatever. I must have bought about four of them, broke all of them. Like, I mean they're not sturdy, but they're they're handy like and they're only about six quid like so.

SPEAKER_01

And there's all that ones who like have the magnet just sticks.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

The windows.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And I was so close to battling, I was like, I know when I buy us, it's gonna be shape. So I don't actually know where there was shade on it or if they were shaped, but they were just like we round things, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I think that's the ones that broke on me.

SPEAKER_01

See, they're shape. I knew it was shape, it was too good to be true.

SPEAKER_04

They're handy though.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

They're really, really handy, but also I'm like hammer hand, so I'm just holding it off and you know, breaking it like don't know my own strength.

SPEAKER_01

Well, when did you get that?

ADHD Chat, Weight Cuts And Final Plugs

SPEAKER_01

It was really easy. When I was like a kid. I was a kid. It's it's like becoming very canonizing it. Loads of people.

SPEAKER_04

How do you have it goes away when you're 18? Well why are you giving me sci-e?

SPEAKER_01

It's um loads of people are starting to like certain traits. I think it's just becoming more educated. Now the people are wrong. Everybody has what I have. Everybody has it. Like a wee first. I definitely have it, but I don't give a fuck. I'm not gonna ever to get diagnosed, like, but I'm a mate, or like who won't get diagnosed with it and he has it, and I'm like, I just I want to know if I haven't. I'm not gonna be able to do hobby enough.

SPEAKER_04

If you're never gonna take medication for it, then what's the point? Even though it. Do you know what I mean? But I think it's a super power. I can't like full of energy, I can get a million things done at once or nothing. I could just lie in bed and do nothing, not even answer text messages, so it's either one or the other. Like, do you know what I mean? You could get like six videos edited in one day, or you're not even getting a reply.

SPEAKER_01

Do you have a crisis?

SPEAKER_04

You were like, oh my god, yeah. And I'm addicted to monster, monster energy. Oh my god, that'd be my dream sponsor.

SPEAKER_01

I like your snap.

SPEAKER_04

Like, no, I have like three crates in the back bit of my car. Um, of Monster Energy.

SPEAKER_01

I could be your TikTok shop. Sell Monster.

SPEAKER_04

You start at the bit of my car on the side of the road.

SPEAKER_01

Hard boots, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

You never know what we business. You never know what we business in my might creep often. You never know what's in the pipeline.

SPEAKER_01

There's a few spoilers, yeah. We DJ.

SPEAKER_04

I'm learning. I'm learning by the best hard style DJs, I would say, in Northern Ireland. Really? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Would you love to just get uh like an opportunity to play on a big massive rave?

SPEAKER_04

I would love to just play a DEF CON. That would just be my dream. I'd played that once and I'd just die happily. You know what I mean? No, I just I just love the music, I love the scene. There's not really much of a scene over here, that's why I have that radio show to kind of like cater. Because there's all hard techno and all, but like everybody's into that, but I want to cater for you know raw style, French core. Not so much up tempo, it's a bit hard at 10am in the morning. But my show was never a hard style show, it was an accident. Otherwise, it went I would have never probably had a slot on the radio.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I just gradually got heavier as my thought, and then we're like, but you know what, there's a market for it, so go.

SPEAKER_02

What time was it starting?

SPEAKER_04

10 to 12. 10am to 12. I was meant to be trance and yeah, I just changed the heart style, and the owner was like, Do you know what? Yeah, if you have an audience for it, so just go for it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. I suppose they're obviously they're being the gardener bad by every other radio channel, so it's like it's very niche. It's very niche, it's the only one.

SPEAKER_04

People here are really supportive. I find it's like mainly girls over here listening to the heart style.

SPEAKER_01

Really?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I wouldn't have thought it would be that. There's people like me, like, oh my god, can you play this song? Or like religiously listening to me every Saturday.

SPEAKER_01

I would I I don't know, I I get like I like hard still, but it's just like I wouldn't know what I'm listening to. That's what I'm trying to say. Like I wouldn't know like where's the where's the bridge between like hard trance and hard state and hard like the BPM actually. No, I mean the BPM. It's like everyone know what that is.

SPEAKER_04

But if you think of all our we DJs over here, like for example, Intershock, phase two, they are amazing like producers and they don't get a chance over here. So I'm playing all like you know their music on the radio to kind of like phase two, I they're the most nicest guys, so it's intershock as well. But phase two, I would say it became really good friends of mine.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Do you know what I mean? So I helped them with their content and they helped me learn how to DJ, and it's just I actually had them screw collaboration. They have you gonna bring on the trumpet stuff for you don't remember. They have a hard stand version of that, so I was like, you know what, we'll do a music video. So I went down to the fun fur, I got them on the walters, and I made them put on their new tune on the waltzers, and then they were on the waltzers. Oh my god, it's absolutely mad.

SPEAKER_01

But uh Waltzers like this fall, and I don't like as well. I don't like parts and it's a bad time at all. Hard things.

SPEAKER_04

Do you think with the whenever you get older though, that stuff's kind of like hard to get on with like vacancy?

SPEAKER_01

Because whenever you were kids, remember the sticky wall? Oh my god, dude. You were like fucking stuck in those. Yeah, see now I wouldn't get on that. I knew you guys be getting on the walls, it won't be sick. I just knew it, and I still don't. And back the day going to like Planet Fun or Thunderland and any things, it was like sticky wall, you were on everything and you didn't feel sickly.

SPEAKER_04

I do. Do you know? I used to go on all the things. See, whenever I go to Fonda, I always do their content whenever they come. So I go to Fonda Media, like probably first day set, and I'll like go on a load of things, and I'm like, do you know what? I feel a wee bit weezy now, and I'm not right, like until the next day.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Like I'd just be in through about, but I just think as you get older, I don't know. The frontal lobe develops or something. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

Because it's fucking getting on again. It's not worth it.

SPEAKER_04

Should I get on the Skyflyer? It wasn't actually too dizzy.

SPEAKER_01

Just a nervous. I do stuff like that, and I really like I I'm afraid of heights, and I still do stuff like that, like big roller coasters. I've done that cute home one down Tato Park and stuff, and I'd done it. Like I went to Disneyland a few times with Shane, and it was on loads of big ones over there, but just it's like it's a feeling of actually doing it. It's nerve-wracking, you know what I mean. See in water parks when you're on the water park, you're trying to go in a couple of steps, I'd be like, go along, go fuck me, oh my stomach. I even like content, no, like these mountain climbers that sit off the edge of a cliff for their feet. You ever watch people cabin?

SPEAKER_04

I'm like, oh that's like people cabin on TikTok actually makes me want to cry.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it gives me fucking shivers.

SPEAKER_04

Crawling into these wee tiny. I'm like, why do you think that's fun? It's a mento.

SPEAKER_01

Don't see them sitting up way better on the same cliff.

SPEAKER_04

Like that looks fun though.

SPEAKER_01

Let's jump. Get over with, just get over with.

SPEAKER_04

You'd be alright. I think it'd be worse if you were caving. You're claustrophobic.

unknown

Fuck.

SPEAKER_01

And then we take spaces, tight environments.

SPEAKER_04

People may crawl in, they're not knowing if they get out of there. I think that is crazy. Like that is mental.

SPEAKER_01

It's like uh the the miners were they caught for like six days? Six days.

SPEAKER_04

I think or was it six miners caught for like longer? Do you remember?

SPEAKER_00

I think it was longer than six days. The Chili and Miners or something.

SPEAKER_04

Oh Chili Miner. Could you imagine?

SPEAKER_01

Imagine calling her, like not knowing, but geez, that's just torture.

SPEAKER_03

You can avoid it price.

SPEAKER_01

See, whenever Derby was giving birth, that's I was thinking she can do torture here. She she was in labor for nine and a half hours, which apparently isn't that long. Nine and a half hours of torture. That's a TV guy I was going. That's just like that's like a cartel capturing you and torturing you for nine and a half hours.

SPEAKER_04

No, that is a long time.

SPEAKER_01

I think it was like and uh people were like, oh, it's not too long. I was like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_04

Imagine sitting in pain for that long though.

SPEAKER_01

It was constantly uh getting contractions every three minutes, every three minutes through serious serious pain for nine and a half hours.

SPEAKER_04

Do you know what? At least you're able to see that instead of sitting in the delivery room on like your phone.

SPEAKER_01

You know, uh trying to be as helpful as a kid. Good. But I was making weight and I'm storming and I came in with two boiled eggs. She was like, what the fuck are you? Because that wasn't any carbs, wasn't it? Favour, wasn't it eat sugar, salt, or water? On fate week, you've to just literally drop everything.

SPEAKER_04

How fast can you drop weight?

SPEAKER_01

Drop like five kilo, like ten pounds in five days. We're gonna do more than that, like put out the right.

SPEAKER_04

Are you giving tips on your channel?

SPEAKER_01

Don't do it, that's how it's so you're not like you're drinking it? Yeah, you start to dehydrate, you start taking all the water out, because that's where all the weight is. It's all water weight, just taking water off.

SPEAKER_04

It's not bad for you.

SPEAKER_01

It is, it's only temporarily. Once you weigh in, you can eat what you want, and then you fight the next day.

SPEAKER_04

So you go get your weight done, and then you fight the next day. So you can literally go in a stone nider, get your weight done, and then come back a stone heavier and just Yep. I think you had a black either. Yeah, it's we're about heck like you know somebody actually texts me and was like, Do you wanna do you wanna come down to Dublin with me here for the Sean McComb fight? And I was like, that's so weird, I'm doing a podcast next week.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Casey.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

She asked me down to the game.

SPEAKER_01

Did she come down? Did she go down to Hill?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't see her. I didn't see her because I didn't see anything. Uh she's I actually told her I wanted to put them over to get my teeth right now.

SPEAKER_04

She said she'd go to white her in UK.

SPEAKER_01

I'm gonna see I says there, let's do it. Because I need my teeth and I was there.

SPEAKER_03

I'm going as well.

SPEAKER_01

Fuck it. But uh she says she's like got fifteen hundred clans, not for a pride to her. I don't really know her, but do you not know either? Oh me neither. She just passed me to get tickets. Like, can I get tickets to her for her? I was like, absolutely. And I was just it, and then every time they get the tickets to her, she was like, Sean, I'm so busy. Like, I have 1500 plants and doing this and that. Um I genuinely want the tickets, I just haven't got a minute to get them.

SPEAKER_03

I think the delivery guys are trying to get in here.

SPEAKER_01

And then uh we want to wrap it up here, I don't know anyway. Um we'll wrap it up. Tell me what you hit your food.

SPEAKER_04

I love that. That's really good. But no, before anybody comes for me, it is like 11am.

SPEAKER_01

11am? Uh just open it. Uh wrap it up. Nah, they've start at 12. Two seconds, lads. Um, I was cute, I make QB chat as necessary, just relaxed and just chilled out. You know what I mean? So it's like it's all good. I'll just fucking I'll wrap it up. I'll wanna end this cat in between.

SPEAKER_04

You've got everything you need?

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely, all good.

SPEAKER_04

Anything else you need?

SPEAKER_01

I think either go. Unless you want to plug anything, anything you're doing, you want to plug?

SPEAKER_04

Like someone go and follow my YouTube channel, please. I've got like 90k on TikTok and like 700.

SPEAKER_01

That's slow, snow, it's very slow. YouTube's slower. Like, subscribe, come on. What does what doesn't take?

SPEAKER_04

If you're gonna do anything, please go over to my YouTube. I'm trying to do longer form content, it takes patience, like.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. It's uh do you do all the editing and stuff yourself?

SPEAKER_04

So if a cameraman does my YouTube, shout out to my cameraman, um, and then I do all the rest myself. Yeah. I'm very quick content, everything's under a minute. I do my TikTok, my Instagram, and all that there, but the YouTube stuff takes me. Oh, it's just I'm just like, no, cut, like, need to be quicker if I'm like, you know, mm-mm mm-hmm I'm like, no, cut that bit out. I don't I don't like that.

SPEAKER_01

Just want to be both clean.

SPEAKER_04

I know. Anything you wanna plug?

SPEAKER_01

I'm listening, plugging away at everything, and I'm listening, just keeping life going.

SPEAKER_04

I know, thank you very much.

SPEAKER_01

I'll be bald in about a week because of two kids now. Life's great. Life's amazing. But here, shoot the wings to settle. Food was as always. It was very, very good. Uh big shoot out. Food was tops, tears, bro.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was delicious, thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Nah, thanks for coming on. You're you're a star.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you no, thank you for having me. You're also a star. Not every day you get to do a podcast with a big box and superstar.

SPEAKER_01

There we go. There we go.

SPEAKER_04

What do you do that?
