Your skin is more than just a surface. It's a reflection of your internal health, From unexplained breakouts to chronic conditions. Reverend Anne-Marie Byers and Rochelle Gianaris explore how skin issues reveal deeper imbalances and what can be done to restore wellness from the inside out. Welcome back everyone. Skip Monty here, co-host slash producer, back in the studio with Reverend Anne-Marie Byers and Rochelle Gianaris. Anne-marie and Rochelle, how's it going?

Speaker 2:

Wonderful. How about you Skip?

Speaker 3:

I'm doing just fine, doing just fine, rochelle.

Speaker 4:

Doing well, thank you.

Speaker 3:

Awesome. What we talked about in our last episode was getting into. We touched on it a little bit on skin issues, so I thought we would kick this off by asking how do skin issues impact your overall health? Rochelle, you want to tackle that?

Speaker 4:

That is a great question. It can have a lot of different issues. It can show you some underlying allergies that you may be experiencing. It can show you environmental toxins wreaking havoc. Your skin is a great way for your body to get rid of toxins, so it's actually a good thing if you're having toxins being released through your skin. It may not be comfortable, but it's a good sign that your body is detoxing and getting that out of your body and it's not just sitting that your body is detoxing and getting that out of your body and it's not just sitting there to wreak further havoc. But when we're talking about dealing with those skin issues, it really depends a lot on the type of issue that you're having and the symptoms that you're experiencing. Those are going to kind of help guide us as to how we support getting your skin back to health.

Speaker 3:

How does diet and gut health influence? Skin health Does it.

Speaker 4:

Absolutely so. Your diet is a big part. Your food is your first medicine. We love to say that.

Speaker 4:

So if your food is not really nourishing your body, your skin may be the thing to tell you that that is the case. Maybe you have kind of gone through life with a minor allergy to something, but then, as you get older, your body has trouble getting rid of the allergen and it's starting to show itself, and it could be through your skin. So diet can have a big impact on your skin. The quality of the products that you use on your skin can also impact the health of your skin. So making sure that you use clean products, very low ingredient products, that way you can kind of decipher well, am I reacting to this ingredient or this ingredient? Is this brand really just not good for me? Is my detergent got stuff in it that you know? It can be tricky to figure out. Well, what is it? What's causing it? But luckily with holographic help we can muscle test to see what our body is reacting to. So it can also help give us answers when we're really just not sure.

Speaker 3:

Interesting. Well, what are some common skin conditions that indicate a deeper health problem?

Speaker 4:

Of course. So something that I experienced myself was I had a really bad eczema breakout. I believe they called it dyshidrosis eczema, so it was really like these fluid-filled itchy spots on my hands that would come and go and get worse if I ate something. So, using our methods, using holographic health muscle testing, we were able to figure out what exactly was causing it, and it was mostly a nutritional well, something in the food that I was having a reaction to, and certain foods had more of this. I believe it was glyphosate was the big culprit.

Speaker 4:

So there were certain foods that had more glyphosate in it that really just threw my body for a loop and you know, I would have these recurring itchy spells. So, through our testing, we were able to narrow down okay, what is it? And that way I could avoid it or limit it to the best of my ability. It, and that way I could avoid it or limit it to the best of my ability. Some other things that we might see are rosacea type, really redness, other itchy things and what are some other things that you would say that we see often as far as skin issues.

Speaker 2:

Well, of course, the psoriasis and there can be some candida. You know there can be fungus issues along with some allergic reactions. So allergic reactions are the first thing and also sometimes it's the food people are eating, or sugar. Sugar is the worst thing you can do for skin. Kids especially do not understand this. They will drink a sugar-filled soda and not realize it's not the chocolate. Chocolate is actually good for you.

Speaker 2:

It is the sugar and sometimes the oils that they use processed sugars and oils that are not good for the skin. So these are what cause breakouts and it's using the wrong oils. We talked about good oils like olive oil and coconut oil being really good both internally and externally for the skin internally and externally for the skin but it's the sugar, the glyphosates, roundup, really all the processed foods, processed sugars, processed oils that cause the skin to react. But it's actually better to have a reaction in the skin, otherwise it goes deeper in the body. That's why some of the things people do to suppress reactions really cause them to go deeper in the body and then just build up. So I tell people when they're having stuff come out of the skin well, that's a good thing. That's the most superficial level of the body and it's much better to have it come out of the skin than get stuck in the digestion, in the liver, in the organs of the body.

Speaker 2:

Have it come out of the skin but then cleanse that and people may go through a detox. But then cleanse that and people may go through a detox. I've gone through really some significant detoxes where things have come out of the skin or you may feel nauseous from that, but the first symptom is skin and years ago I had a lot of trouble with psoriasis which was akin to eczema. I had splotches all over my neck and face from reactions to clothing. I remember when I was a kid having reactions to laundry detergent my mother was using, just trying to eliminate, elimination of things that might be causing it. And, like Rochelle was saying, we can test these things and to help guide people in this process of elimination and detoxing these poisons in the body.

Speaker 3:

So technically, the saying you are what, what you eat is pretty accurate, right?

Speaker 2:

Absolutely yes.

Speaker 3:

So I guess I should be worried that I might end up looking like a walking pizza slice. I absolutely love pizza.

Speaker 2:

You can make that more healthy. You know, you can use healthier crust, healthier cheese, healthier oils, and so we love our pizza too, but we get whole grain, organic crust.

Speaker 3:

We make our own? Oh, very nice, very nice. But for those who have had skin issues, like you guys have had, what kind of approaches do you use to help restore balance to both skin and overall well-being.

Speaker 4:

Yes, so, after we've identified the issue and hopefully started working on eliminating what's causing the skin issues, we want to restore health to the skin itself. So you know, your skin is your biggest organ, your body's largest organ, so there's a lot of terrain to cover biggest organ, your body's largest organ, so there's a lot of terrain to cover. One of the main things to restore health and vitality and nourishment to the skin one of our best products for that is hollow skin. So this is an oil. This is a 1.25 ounce bottle. We also have spray caps that come with it just for easier administration. And then we also have a roller bottle. This is great. I keep this in my purse. It's a great travel size. So this has a lot of wonderful ingredients and energy signatures in it to really restore balance and health to the skin, either during an episode or following an episode when you're trying to restore the health of the skin. Anne, would you like to tell us a few special things and ingredients about hollow skin?

Speaker 2:

Well, it contains really oils that are excellent for the skin. It has some lotus, it has some carrot seed oil and it smells divine. But dr reading went through a whole process of determining the best oils that work for the skin and to help calm it down, and we actually have an osteopath that uses this a lot with her patients who have any issues. That it's the best thing she's found to help calm down things like the eczema or psoriasis. So those are a couple of ingredients. It has about 15 oils in it, all organic oils and one of our really wonderful products for that.

Speaker 4:

Yes, thank you for that information. Another great nourishing, soothing thing is we came up with a hollow skin lotion, so this has hollow skin directly in it. The base is a quality general lotion that we can get at a pretty good price. To keep it affordable, we put the hollow skin in the lotion to really get that added benefit. We sell various sizes of this as well for travel and in your purse or backpack. This is a great thing to keep for larger areas of your body you might use. I have used hollow skin just on my face. It's a great moisturizer and it just it's such a clean smell too. It's very light, so I enjoy this just for general skin health through that as well.

Speaker 3:

Holoskin, and that is only available at Holographic Health.

Speaker 4:

Yes, other distributors may carry it, but you can find it directly on our website or if you call our office.

Speaker 2:

we are happy to send this to you all right well, and the other thing, our skin, hair, nails that we have for internally, for the skin that has some z in it and the thing that's really important for not just health of the body but health of the skin and the hair and the nails. So it is the one supplement that we really have to support the skin internally. We have other things as well, depending on what comes up in a session. You know when we talked about doing our assessments, but for general skin health that is the best one to take.

Speaker 3:

Very good. Wow, I had no idea that skin was so complicated, but apparently it's the largest organ in the body, right? So it's significant. And one thing, renee, you mentioned earlier was fungus. Or maybe Rochelle, maybe it was you, but I know we're out of time today, but maybe in our next episode we can get into fungus and how it affects the skin.

Speaker 2:

Of course, absolutely.

Speaker 3:

All right, very good. Well, ladies, thank you for your time. Today Learned an awful lot about the skin and some great products that you guys sell to make it better. Thank y'all so much for your time.

Speaker 4:

Thanks for having us. Thank you.
