So what is My North End: The Podcast? Much like the YouTube show, it is dedicated to telling the stories of the people of Boston's historic North End. It is a way for these stories to be told in a longer format. The podcast will include guests from all generations, as well as local business owners - everyone who makes the North End the best neighborhood in America. On the eve of the one of the North End’s premier events, the 53rdAnnual North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Christmas Parade, NEAA President Robert “Teddy” Tomasone graciously joins My North End: The Podcast to talk all about growing up in the North End during its Golden Age, how he got his nickname, his lifelong devotion to our neighborhood, his 60+ year involvement in the NEAA, how the Christmas Parade got started and has become such a special event over the years, and more.
