Expect Robert Gilman to touch down on U.S. soil later tonight. We're not able to disclose any details about the timing right now, but this incredibly high-profile Russian prisoner release comes at a moment of extraordinary strain and tension between Washington and Moscow over the wars in Ukraine and Iran. Four years after being taken into Russian custody, imprisoned and allegedly tortured, former U.S. Marine Robert Gilman is now a free man and returning home to U.S. soil. President Trump, Secretary of State Rubio, Special Envoy Whitkoff, and CIA Director Ratcliffe all working tirelessly behind the scenes. The State Department says Gilman's release was not part of an exchange and no other concessions were provided. The Russian government released him on humanitarian grounds. This after Gilman's family says he faced torture, forcible injection with mind-altering drugs, and malnourishment. A 32-year-old Massachusetts native, Gilman was arrested in Russia while on his way to begin a new job in Moldova in 2022. At the time the Russians accused him of assaulting a cop without producing any evidence. Last week, Gilman's family told Fox News through their representative he had been going in and out of consciousness since June when the Russians moved him to a prison hospital, and they feared he was on the verge of death. So for Gilman, a happy ending tonight, but there are still at least 10 other Americans who remain unlawfully detained inside Russian prisons tonight. Brett, the the their fates are not known to their family members, but this obviously a cause for hope.

Yeah, the White House is not denying this explosive report from the Washington Post, claiming that President Trump was secretly moved off of Air Force One after the NATO summit in Turkey, loaded onto a catering truck, and then put on another plane, an Air Force C-32A, making Air Force One a quote, decoy, with staff and also the media on board. New details tonight from the Wall Street Journal revealing, quote, Israel briefed the Trump administration on the intelligence, which included a threat to use shoulder-to-air missiles to target Air Force One. Some of the President's top aides stayed on Air Force One, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the official said. Video shows the president boarding Air Force One at 125 local time, July 8th, briefly waving. A minute later, at the rear of the plane, the press begins to board. Four minutes later, the catering truck pulls away from the plane on the opposite side. After landing in the UK to refuel, it's not clear how the president moved from the military jet back to Air Force One, but he's seen stepping off the plane and later taking questions from reporters about why they were told to keep their window shades down.

It was shortly after the Yemen-based and Iran-backed Houthis released this video, purporting to show rockets being launched toward the port city of Mocca, that word emerged of a vessel being struck in the Red Sea. With Yemeni authorities now confirming at least four crew members, three Pakistanis and one Indonesian were killed, along with two members of the government-allied National Resistance Forces. The attack emphasizes the growing dual threat to global commerce if Houthi terrorists are able to freeze traffic in the Baba Mandab Strait in the same way that Iran has effectively frozen traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, where crossings on Monday were in the single digits compared to the more than 100 vessels that were crossing daily before the war with Iran began. CENTCOM said the ship's crew ignored warnings from American forces and the missiles were therefore fired into the ship's steering gear to disable it. No injuries were reported. As much as President Trump insists that the U.S. is in control of the strait, perception is reality, and the perception right now among the vast majority of shipping companies and insurers is that it is simply too risky to attempt a crossing.

We're getting reaction tonight to the story we brought you last night about the text messages from Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government's public point person on the COVID pandemic, indicated possible serious side effects from the vaccine, but said something very different publicly. Citing studies, including more than a million pregnant women, current CDC guidance is that a COVID vaccine during pregnancy has not been linked to increased health risks for pregnant women or babies. Senator Ron Johnson released Fauci's text. Senator Rand Paul is also investigating Fauci and called him to appear last month before his committee. Yeah, that's right, Brett. CMS administrator Dr. Memet Oz announced federal Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program will no longer pay for puberty blockers, hormone treatments, or gender transition surgeries for minors.
