Packing a package can feel like a puzzle. With so many options. How do you know which supplies are right for the job? Parcelpedia has you covered, but how do you find the perfect match? Welcome back everyone. I'm Sophia Yvette, co-host, slash producer. Back in the studio with James Banks. James, how's it going?

Speaker 3:

Hey Sophia, I'm doing well. How are you?

Speaker 2:

I'm doing well. So, james, what packaging supplies do you offer, and how do customers know what type they need?

Speaker 3:

I would like to believe we offer just about every package supply you can imagine. We have paper products, we have foam products, we have plastic products, we have custom mold foam that we can get for you. We have a lot of different things. As far as determining what you need to use for your package, there's some different variable things size, weight, sharp edges. Bubble mailers are a very cool shipping option. They provide the comfortability of having the protection, the protective layer of bubble, but also they help you with shipping because they're not very heavy, so they don't add a lot of extra weight to what you're shipping, and they're great for items that need some protection but aren't going to drop at the slightest touch or break at the slightest touch.

Speaker 3:

Boxes, of course, they actually come in a lot of different variables. You have regular brown boxes you see, probably get your orders in from your online ordering but you also have what's called double wall boxes, which are basically twice as thick, just like they sound. That's where your really heavy items vehicle parts, automotive machinery, things that are really heavy, that can burst through those regular boxes. We have those heavy duty boxes to cover that. You have waterproof packaging for things that are going to Seattle or other rainy places. You should make sure that your documents get there safe and they're not completely soaked through. Of course, we even have items for overnight shipping with perishable goods, like frozen items, food items. We have the insulated packaging for that as well. So, really, anything, honestly, that you can legally ship, we will help you with, and we will have the packing material for as far as how to determine it, you can leave it to us. You can give us a call, you can shoot us an email. Anytime you have a question, just bring it by us and we'll get you an answer.

Speaker 2:

And what are the most commonly used packing materials you offer for different types of shipments?

Speaker 3:

For sure the smaller, like letters to you know, maybe keychains, small things like that bubble envelopes. They're just very versatile. They come in a lot of different sizes. They come in plastic, come in paper, so they have different materials that come in Boxes. That's a package. When you think of most people and their brain pops up a big brown box. We have every size, from four inches all the way up to three feet. We can get custom made boxes. If you really need small boxes for picture frames, glass, all kinds of specialty boxes, we can order them if we don't have them on hand. So really, whatever you need to pack up, there's a way to get it shipped.

Speaker 2:

And getting into a little bit about the different packing supplies that you offer. How can customers determine the best packing supplies based on the size and contents of their package?

Speaker 3:

Experience helps, and experience even just from receiving packages. When you get a box in the mail where there's something you ordered, you can kind of get an idea of how they pack it. You know these things are being packed on a industrial scale at a warehouse somewhere, and so that'll give you a really good idea of how things are packed. You'll see that sometimes the boxes are really large. There's a whole lot of packed material and then one little small item inside. You think, oh, that's really inefficient, but your item got to you and it's safe and now you have a really good box to reuse. So there's always a silver lining there.

Speaker 3:

But if you don't know, if you're just not quite sure, just give us a ring, step on in, call us, you know, email us. Whatever you need to do, we'll answer the question that you have to fill in that gap. If you're just not sure as far as experience, wise, but really, if it's going to be something that you're scared of getting wet, use a plastic container. Something you're scared of getting broken, use a sturdy container. Something you want to ship for a cost-effective way, use a lightweight container. Those are like the three easiest ways to think about it.

Speaker 2:

Okay, and I have an interesting question for you Do you offer any packing supplies that could double as a trendy purse or a fashionable tote?

Speaker 3:

Man, it depends. Fashion can get pretty interesting. I know there was a banana taped to a wall that went for a pretty high price. You never know what someone can turn into a fashion icon.

Speaker 2:

Awesome. Well, love it, James. We'll catch you in the next episode. Have a fantastic rest of your day.
