Hey Sofia, I'm doing well. How are you?

Speaker 2:

I'm also well so, james, your store really is a one-stop shop for more ways than just shipping. Do you offer printing, what formats and what's the turnaround time?

Speaker 3:

Oh yes, thank you. Yeah, we definitely offer printing, all types of printing. So from any regular document printing just a couple of things printed out, resume printed, we can do all that in-house very easily. We can also do larger formats. So we have legal size for, like, lease agreements or closing documents. We have 11 by 17 for blueprints or flyers. We have all that that we offer in-house Anytime you go over 11 by 17, though we do have to take that out of house, but we still offer it. Turnaround time on most things, including signs and banners, is about three days. So if you give it to me.

Speaker 3:

Monday. I'll have it to you within that same week, which is great. That's a great turnaround time and as far as the signs, I mean it's a very wide variety. So we have, like, our vinyl banners that you see hanging outside of restaurants. We have the yard signs that you see for, like, campaign time, for voting time.

Speaker 3:

We do metal signs for, like parking signs, we do acrylic for office signage. Here as well, we have a lot of different offerings that we can give you and a lot of different what should I say? Customization options as well. So we have double-sided, we have grommets, we have hems, we have retractable banners, we have banner stands, we have backdrops. Really, it's almost a shorter list to tell you what I can't do versus what I can do. So if it's something that can be printed, we can help you. As far as whether it's in-house or out-house, I'll tell you straight up. You know if I can do it for you that same day or not. But the turnaround we always try to go for the fastest possible turnaround.

Speaker 3:

So anytime you give me like a asking for a quote or giving me a job. In the quote I'll always let you know turnaround time as well. You can always email it to us at parcelpedia mail at gmailcom or contact at parcelpediacom. You can always call. Call it up and give it to us over the phone, walk it right in and give it to us. It doesn't matter, but we're here to help. So printing is pretty, pretty important to us. I mean, we always have a pretty strong focus on it, so we always try to keep the availability there for our customers, whether it's you know.

Speaker 1:

I just need one page, or.

Speaker 3:

I need 600 documents, you know, by the end of the week, or I need, I'm going to need them stapled, or we need them hole punched. We need them separated by ABC XYZ. You know we'll help you out, We'll do it. So I've done a lot of printing over the years and I found that the ideal print job is a quick print job. No one wants to be waiting days and dealing with issues. The longer it takes, typically the longer or the more issues you run into. So that's why we always working towards speed, so we try to get things back to you as fast as possible and just spend a time where something I cannot do. I will still find someone that can help you out. It's like neon signs.

Speaker 3:

I actually do not offer neon signs, unfortunately, but I have a really good guy, a really good contact that I can get you in touch with and still help you out. So I'm not in it to just make money, I'm in it to help you. So you know, whatever you need, we're here to do that for you.

Speaker 2:

So so, James, what file formats are best for printing PDFs, JPEGs, Word documents?

Speaker 3:

Great question and it's a question that I feel a lot of people don't think about until it's too late For like document printing. Any of those are fine. Really any of those are fine. Word documents are, I'd say, my least favorite because, depending on what form or what version of Word that was made on and what version of Word I have, you know, when it gets to me to print it, everyone's used Word. You move a picture two inches to the left and the whole document goes crazy, right? So Word is a little weird. But PDF, jpeg, gif, tiff that's one that you know people that do a lot of crazy are probably familiar with. Those are great.

Speaker 3:

If you're doing large format so not on my printer, but I'm sending it off you're getting a big six-foot banner made, something like that. It's not so much the file format, actually, it's how the file is created, and without going into too too too much detail and boring you to death, I will give you some few pointers. Anything large format, you want it to be printed in 300 DPI or dots per square inch. That will just give you the clarity, even when the image is blown up, and so basically what it is doing is at the size that you're making it on your digital image. It's going to be good as far as fidelity-wise, up to like three times that size, because that 300 versus like a simple 100. Also, you want to be. When you're doing banners, when you're doing things like canvas mounted canvas you have to be wary of your borders. So sometimes people will put their artwork or their text all the way to the edge of the image.

Speaker 3:

You got to give some space for them to cut, for them to trim, for them to make the hems. So always, always, always, try to give yourself a little border. But again, this isn't something you need to just know. We're here, we have all that knowledge and we'll share that with you. I have templates for you that I can email, I can put on a thumb drive. I have resources like frequently asked questions. I have samples that I can share. We'll make sure that the job you need done is done well.

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, file format doesn't matter, the actual type of color you use. Rgb for CMYK is a big thing in the print world as well. Things that you don't need to worry about. You'd rather not have to cram in your brain. We got it, so just bring it to us and we'll take care of that for you.

Speaker 2:

So, james, do you have a degree in printing?

Speaker 3:

You know, I'll print one out myself. How about that?

Speaker 2:

There you go. Now are there bulk or business printing packages available for regular clients?

Speaker 3:

Oh for sure. So we always, always. Again, this is very similar to most of our discounting. It's not ever exclusive to like one group of people or you know, you gotta be in the parcel P to VIP. You just come in and we're going to give you the best discount we can. So we always always offer bulk pricing on printing, no matter who you are. So you can be Joe Schmoe off the street, you can be a customer that's been with us for 20 years. You know it doesn't matter, you're going to get the best rate.

Speaker 3:

Um so just for some examples, if you do in simple document printing, like black and white copies, uh, if you go over a hundred sheets we automatically cut the fee in half.

Speaker 2:

Oh, wow For you.

Speaker 3:

So you so, yeah, big savings, like right off the bat, and that's huge for things like law offices, teachers. You know, like print out, you're always doing multiples of whatever you're printing. It's huge because it just helps you save money. You know, especially to our teachers, if you're a public school teacher, we always offer an extra 10% on top of your printing, just because we know unfortunately a lot of teachers come out of their own pockets to help their students and that's huge. You know that adds up and so any way we can help, any way we can help them ease the load.

Speaker 3:

We try to do that. So that's just one of the small things we do.
