Known for her dynamic style, Tashara has built a legacy across CBS and NBC affiliates and at WFAA in Dallas, where her Emmy-winning series “Rooted” gave voice to marginalized communities and sparked vital national conversations around identity.

Beyond storytelling, Tashara has been a key advocate in Texas for the CROWN Act, a landmark law banning race-based hair discrimination, for which she testified before Texas lawmakers, contributing to its bipartisan passage in 2023.
