In this episode Dr. Dustin Bain is joined by fellow elementary principal Dr. Nathan Burch(@Nateburch63) to discuss leadership. Dr. Bain and Dr. Burch go back to attending Seckman Middle School before graduating high school together from Seckman high. Later they would go onto being roommates at Southeast Missouri State University during their freshman year. Dr. Burch is currently a principal in the Mehlville School District and will be transitioning to taking over an elementary building in the Parkway School District in St. Louis for the 2019-2020 school year. The two leaders discuss creating relationships among staff and the entire community as you transition into a new leadership role. During the discussion Dr. Burch dropped a great line about why our educational role is so great, "We don't wake up everyday and try to make more money for someone who already has a lot of money, we get to wake up and make a difference."
