In this episode of Unspoken, hosts Nick and Nick sit down with Jonny Arkin, a "creative process solution provider" and the driving force behind Arkin Sales, to discuss the fascinating business of solving "unsolvable" industrial problems. Listeners will discover the engineering secrets behind high-stakes industrial recycling, including how Arkin’s family business developed systems to turn broken Oreo cookies into ice cream toppings and how a unique plastic separation process led to a massive market for engineered fake snow in movies and retail. Beyond manufacturing, the conversation explores Jonny’s rare athletic feat—a hole-in-one on a 341-yard par 4—and the viral story of his son, Abe, whose Halloween costume as "Baby Andy Reid" became a national sensation on Barstool Sports and news outlets. From the physics of pressure wave mills to Jonny’s quirky H&M "sleeping outfit" ritual and his core philosophy that "it’s nice to be nice," this episode offers an insightful look at a "Think Tank" approach to global commodities and intentional parenting.
If you or anyone you know needs some creative solutions, you can find Jonny and his team at arkinsalesinc.com for more information.
Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoy the show!

Love there you go Uh, I quote movies all episode long. I love it, and I i'm movie freak same same sees Um, okay. So really quick preface. This is johnny. I'm gonna let him introduce himself johnny is one of my genuinely favorite humans in the world. We have a good friendship. We met because Your wife is cousins with my wife and we basically see each other on family stuff And it's basically like we're bros outlaws represent. That's the way it is. I love the way it is I love that outlaws. Hell. Yeah, we gotta we gotta start doing like outlaw pictures and stuff Like every family event like make it a huge thing to exclude all of the family and be like get over here We're gonna get an outlaw group chat. Yeah, that'd be sweet now. We're talking Yeah, for sure everybody i'll wear spurs to easter. I don't even care. I'll wear only spurs Shoot, okay now now that that's I don't think I don't advise. No, it's not for the easter egg Have you seen the crocs the cowboy boots? No, no. Yeah, are they sick like the oh my gosh, man They're awesome. They're sick. Yeah madden's loving them They have the hensley. What do they call the little things that you put on the crocs like giblets or whatever So that's what's got a rear giblet, right? That's a spur So good. Yeah, it's so dumb. It's so beautiful I can't do the crocs man. I can't do the crocs My son would immediately pull the spur off and put like chase or some random something stupid Bluey character. Yeah. Yes. There you go. Okay So we have lots of cool things to talk about for sure but Why don't you start off johnny? What in the heck do you do? and Just just start there. Okay. What is it? What is the johnny? Okay, let me uh, i'll start with where I kind of came from sure. So I grew up in chicago um a suburb of chicago Until like fifth grade and that puts i'm 41 and that puts me In the prime riding bmx bikes. Yes. Yes getting baseball cards watching michael jordan win six Yep, right nice. So I had I had the jordan dynasty you you did and then my my old man He started a company, uh in 80 83 84 called arkin sales and It started to kind of there's a lot of keeping up with the joneses. Sure It was uh, it was a lot of um You know trying to maybe be somebody in an area where they didn't want to be was that the intent No, like it was kind of where my mom kind of where it went my mom grew up, right? Yeah, and so He he and my mom made the conscious decision. This is not like a fluke. They made the conscious decision For him not to work as much. Well, he ended up working a lot But sure we moved to wisconsin so we we go from chicago to wow So I didn't even know this part down to 7 000 people In rural wisconsin farming community called reedsburg wisconsin home of the beavers, baby. Oh, yeah reedsburg area high school the beavers nice Chicago to wisconsin. Yeah, and my my sister was a freshman in high school at that time So she became a beaver right away This is he didn't know what hit her. This is full-on giving me uh, like ashton kutcher the ranch vibe Like no name colorado 100% And so we move up there, um, i'm like I said i'm in fifth grade Uh played baseball played basketball, you know all that stuff. Uh, I played competitive tennis my whole life My dad was big time tennis player. Yep. That's cool played in college. And so we go up to wisconsin Not exactly competitive tennis up in wisconsin. So We moved to a golf course ice tennis Yeah, right It was something but uh, yeah, I was I like would travel it just got to be too much So I sure sure started playing a lot of golf. Yep, and uh, that kind of became the problem more of the prominent Sport activity. So All right. So my parents move up there right small town different vibe wisconsin people they move slower They eat more they drink a lot more They're just like they help their neighbors like they're just the person that you want to know Sure, it's the best. Yeah, so I had I have a little bit of chicago a little bit of wisconsin Okay, and then i'm going to college and i'm like i'm going to ku major in industrial design wanted to be a toy designer Oh, dude, that's awesome, man Like ahead of time or is this like a thing that you picked like yeah at the time I barely knew what my dad did. Okay, and so I was like, I think I want to be a toy designer Right. I was really good in math. I was really good in fine arts So like those two usually that's toy design. Wow, like it came out of nowhere though, like toy design Like what like i'm like what kind of toys like kids toys, right? Like doing doing god's work. Yeah. Yeah, exactly I love that school. So would you have been like a puzzle guy? Or were you thinking like maybe I just like rock them soggum robots just like beat the shit out of kids and that I Toys had such like an effect on me when I was younger and it was like, you know I wasn't really big into video games or anything I probably would have been more along the lines of like sports toys in sub capacity or like You know you strap the ball to the on the wires to your basketball hoop and you hit it around like I think I would have been more like more like functional stuff like that. That's probably where I would have lived Yeah, yeah, like tetherball guy Maybe not as maybe not like that Definitely Not really my style but So, uh, yeah I I get back home I graduate I go to ku, um get back home graduate by Just kind of hanging around sure, right? So when you your kids when they get older and they're just kind of hanging around and you're like, wow Why don't you do something do anything? Just know that he's probably gonna figure it out at some point. Yeah. Yeah Maybe just let him eat arby's a couple more times and then he'll figure it out. Eventually he'll find his tetherball Yeah, I like yeah Nobody nobody wants that besides the guy that invented tetherball and even he might not get that into it His dad calls him a disappointment Who have I become I enjoy this So, uh, I I'm hanging out and my dad's like why don't you come with me to the poultry show? Yeah, i'm like, I don't know what that is. I was gonna say backup. Yeah what? Yeah, let me let me lead you down this path All right, so wait to get there. So I go to the poultry show in atlanta georgia with him and He sells equipment right process equipment. Okay for the dry powder bulk solids industry And you're just walking down some wow. Yeah, so you're saying a lot of things you grind Anything you want to make smaller? Uh-huh. We sell it anything you want to separate by size We sell the machines convey dust collection um, you want to densify You want to shred so we are in food recycling pet food wood pelleting we sold the traeger right like We put we put systems in for people and companies that want to make a different product right, okay, so It's pretty it's pretty wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, this is rad. I'm like i'm i'm keeping up now So i'm like a creative dude and right. This is like tinker toys on crack Yeah, right so I get there and and my dad like he kind of starts crouching over. He's got these ears that start growing up He's like turning green and He's literally like yoda at this show Just like he's in no like manufacturers of equipment are coming up to him being like hey I got this guy. What do you what do you like? What should we do? Should we put what blades should we put on this or whatever? You know, how would you convey this right stuff like that? And i'm like I'm kind of not really realizing what's going on, but everyone's talking to him and he he's the best man He's like he and my mom are in the right place. You are. Yeah. Yeah I can't do that. I just somebody just butcher it. I didn't want to attempt it. I'm out eventually We're gonna have to make you do it So he's got these guys like they're in like they're in yeah he like And all these manufacturers they sell different stuff right like there's a screening company There's a milling company. There's a competing milling company. He knows them all and so over time he starts to Well, he starts to kind of develop a a relationship where People come to him for solutions the unsolvable the really hard shit, right? Okay I got a million million pounds of tennis balls And I want you to separate the fur from the rubber because I could sell both of these for this much money And i'm getting the tennis balls for free Right. Yeah, that actually happened for real. That's like, oh my gosh, man. That's so cool. Yeah random trivia What's the fuzz on the outside of a tennis ball called? Fuzz I was hoping you knew because I didn't remember. I know it's got a name. No, hey Yeah, who's got a google machine? over there What's the what's the what's the easy? What's the fuzzy stuff on the outside of a tennis ball called? I that's what we said too. Yeah We got we got somebody using the google machine for us. Yep. We're getting a lot you this is peak content Right here googling line. This is how we do it Nap nap. I feel like that's not that's that sounds right super disappointing. I was hoping it was something like Gel. Yeah Like something off the wall. Yeah, hoping it was called like like lime. Do you like the smell of new tennis balls? I don't know if I like the smell top five smell I don't know if I like the smell as much as I I know I need the smell Yeah, oh, that's fair old baseball glove. So are you kidding? I get in trouble for that. I have a Library handle. Oh library for sure book leather. I have a candle that's called rawhide. Wait, what expensive libraries are you going to? None. Yeah, it's just if I walk into a library, it just smells like book. I'm going to like the paperback library I'm and i'm You're just going to the vatican. Yeah Like johnny's library just smells like mothballs and like grandma's perfume Don't forget to pull them all cigarettes Exactly. Maybe it's like it's a bottle. That's a bottle full of denture cleaner No, you ever go to rick rick's in lauren's shout out rick's and lauren's i've never been rick would sit at the bar Maybe maybe I had too much to drink like on the weekdays sometimes but i'd be in there at like 2 p.m Throwing some darts between classes play Yeah, we'll say that got bored. Yeah Playing su su studio on repeat. Oh, right. Yeah. Oh, yeah Rick would sit up there and you'd be chatting them up and then all of a sudden he'd just do one of these Pull his teeth out put him on the bar That is what that is 100 peak masculinity I I didn't know what to say. I just like kind of started laughing. So anyway, all right throwing throwing bullets back to your Teeth stories. No, I don't know. I got nothing. I just wish I had more Clearly I can't keep up with that dude. That's uh, that's a story I like waiting for him to like go full ted lasso and he's like wait a second I forgot I was right-handed and shoot a 180. Yep I got one more tooth story while we're at it. Yes Taking a turn Did you think we were to come in hot with multiple teeth stories? No, zero percent of me thought teeth stories were on the agenda tonight. So So I have a buddy I'm not gonna name his name, but the girl knows who he is. Okay. Hopefully the girl listens to this because He said he said he because he had a couple teeth knocked out played baseball had a couple teeth knocked out And as always he's at the hawk And he's DJing And he's in the boom boom room And he's making out with this girl. She realizes there's any base in there. He pulls away and he goes My tooth's in your mouth Oh That is raunchy She spit it out and walked away How do you not How do you not true story? That is there's so many levels of wrong that we just landed on there It's so good. I heard I heard this story like four months ago and i'm like i'm dead I'm crying like you can just hear like that's like equivalent to like being able to just like hear chlamydia. Oh my gosh It's so bad So wrong In case you were wondering it's not good It's so good Is it worse that that happened or is it worse that she didn't know? No, she kind of like looked at like went like this and like he because I said the same thing I'm like, how does she not know? Yeah, and he said that she kind of pulled away really quick and went like this and she and he goes My tooth's in your mouth Like yeah, you're you know with that one Oh my gosh, man So, oh man, I better get spit sunflower seeds in my mouth So we got it, okay, we'll get back to market sales Yeah, back to the original. I don't even know what we got off here. So my dad's teeth. So yeah, there we go So he does this this tennis ball thing, right? All right tennis balls. Okay, so separating the fuzz or nap Yeah from the ball that was project. Are you for real like how? Wow density separation right air classification all those kinds of things Yeah, so he's taught only 15 16 years. He's taught me all the things that he knows So he puts in the hours, right? He is grinding. He's saying he's staying in hotels and he's staying in his car Yep, starting the business right doing doing the stuff. Yeah, and so he works his can off So I got cleats to wear to baseball. Yep And uh, you know, I don't really know about until later and people that work for Arkansas's kind of were telling me some stories Once I started working there. Yeah immediately a matter of respect for my mom and dad, right? So Uh, we so we become this this kind of unsolvable you call the arkans and they're gonna put a system together And then they buy the system from us. That's how it works. Yep. We make a commission on the machinery So every once in a while, we kind of do like a little backdoor vc thing. We like the person We like the system. We like what they're doing sure You know, this isn't like adm we're doing this with but like we'll we'll be like Can we be a little part of this? You know, can we give you a discount on the machinery give you the machinery for free and then we own a little percentage Of it, right? So that was always his thing He would say Imagine if we just owned one percent of that system we just sold. Yeah, right. Yeah, because there's We're talking about big-time manufacturing bank. Yeah, and I mean in a lot of ways like Truthfully like ip is a major thing totally so like you guys and we're making it process Wow, yeah, I mean you're literally creating a process that doesn't exist. Yeah, we're making that's a whole different animal So we're pulling like from the grain industry and we're putting it in the plastics industry and we're pulling from the coal industry And we're like it's it's kind of crazy. Yeah, so I love it and we got a couple of those but my dad always used to say that kind of stuff and So recently we've been doing that a little bit more Yeah And the idea is like you kind of build up a couple of these maybe a couple work and then you have Some residual income and makes life a lot easier. Yeah so One of the ones that kind of led him to that was He was two years in one year into his his Company just started it sure and this guy comes to him. He's like I got milk powder in bags clear bags and i'm emptying this milk powder and there's a Three percent retention right these guys that are dumping in the bulk or into these bags Or into the system and he's like I got to get 100 out because three percent you're getting bags all day A ton of money it adds up. Yeah, so yeah, so he's like, all right So he figures it out does the system for him and then at the same time somebody's decorating This is in downtown Chicago Marshall fields, right? Yeah the windows Somebody's decorating the windows and they're like They put rice. It's winter putting rice all over the windows. He's like all pumped up about it It's actually a friend of my mom's He's like, uh, this is gonna look sick. Everybody's gonna love this. So next morning wake up 5 a.m Open the doors open the store get in there. There's rats everywhere Okay, and so marshall fields is like get rid of all these get rid of the rice gotta go get rid of the rats We got to open the store So my dad's sitting there on all this plastic. He's kind of messing with it part of the system pulled the plastic apart Yep, right. This is 85. Okay, and so This guy Talking to him. He's like, I don't know what to do You know for this this the windows I want snow and so what do you what do you get when you pull clear plastic part? You get white plastic. Yeah, and it's kind of a little ripply on the side. Yeah, so he made a system to take those old bags Kind of wash them a little bit Made fake snow here, man. Yeah So this family this family the guy does it and then he starts a business and he's selling fake snow movies all kinds of stuff Sells the thing that shakes and it drops it the whole deal And so this guy has I don't six seven kids every one of the kids and their families to this day Make money off of that That business how do I get into that game? That's what i'm saying lord. Wow. Just yeah bank. Yeah, so Anyway, that's the world. So he's like, I wish I could get into something like that You know, and so he taught me all of it. I'm just like my 17th year 16th year He taught me all of it I'm all i'm trying to do is carry the torch for all the hard work that he did Sure to try to kind of complete that as a team, right? Because yeah, he's not working anymore. I I took over about like a year and a half ago. Yeah So that's where we are. That's my that's my job. That's my uh, my work Yeah, I went to kyu went home and I went came back to kansas met my beautiful wife at a pool party Kind of forced my way into uh into her phone with my number My man, yeah, did you break out the hey, uh, something's wrong with your phone. She's like, oh no, what's my number's not in it? Yep, no, I straight up just grabbed it and put and called myself I think And I was I was like, hey, this is what's this is what's going on. Did you just call some dude? I mean, I i'm gonna advise that my son doesn't do that in the future because I think that might be illegal now Well, the world has changed it's very different you were at ricks. Yeah Now that's the same there that's Probably still he's got teeth on the bar today right now there. Yeah, they're sitting there whether they're his or someone else So these teeth are on the bar So, okay. Uh, yeah that brought me that brought me back to uh brought me back to kansas and yeah Mary claire got three kids. Yeah, girl boy girl lily abe and evy. Yeah Um, they're awesome evy's an exclamation point for sure abe's he came out big he came out 9 11 This we got we got a big boy in a second. Yeah Huge head. Sorry. Sorry, babe and uh Lily lily's unbelievable. Just the best I Will plain never forget when you first told me the story about a being born Oh, and you're like, oh we get him over the scale. I'm just like go Like I was so amped up and like and I and i'm i'm engaged in a birth I'm not like i'm gonna only be up here. I'm only gonna be standing in the corner with your legs locked. I'm with you I'm i'm helping. Yep. Like i'm like, what do you want me to hold? Like yeah, and so I He comes out and the the doctor said This is maybe like a week before he's probably gonna be like eight and a half pounds pretty big right I can be eight and a half pounds something like that And she was off by like more than a pound yeah, and so he comes out and they're kind of like Huge is a huge kid Claire's not big she's a small girl. Yeah, and so he comes out and like i'm kind of like This is awesome And so cut the umbilical cord right mom and then they bring him bring him over the panda the panda thing where like Scans him. Yeah, yeah gives him a barcode thing and all yeah turns it into a number So it he's over it and like it's weighing them and i'm like, come on Come on double digits And like i'm a little i'm saying this in the nurses are they're mean mugging me like you wouldn't believe and so At 9 11 pops up. It's like 9 11 pops up and I go babe. You just gave birth to rob gronkowski And All the nurses were pissed Really they were like there and they go they go have some respect She just had a a large baby and I go what he's already out. It's not like it's going back. Yeah Yeah, it was it was especially as you look back and she's got like the look from like emily rose No, she she handled it unbelievable the epidural she can't chase me right, right, right She was unbelievable. It was that was a that was a cool day I will we've said this a million times and I will stand by it that dude women are superheroes Yep, like their bodies are unbelievable. Oh man. They are they are so cool. There's there. Yeah I'll i'll stand by there. They're stronger than me. Oh, yeah, I don't want to do it But I respect it. I oh I joke I joke with Haiti all the time about not that part, but I joke about me Yeah, you know as a man There are times i've had too much taco bell and I gave birth in a toilet But I did not give birth in that toilet. No nowhere near what she did. You did not. Oh, it's wild, man I remember um Uh, she was she was having our youngest. Yeah, and she was No, she was planning on no epidural, right? I'm like do it got your back up to you, babe Yep, your call whatever right you're strong and we get She gets into it and she's like I can't do this. Oh, yeah Yeah, exactly and she goes you need to find a doctor. Yeah Just like this her voice was that low and I go. Yes, ma'am. Yep. I go out i'm like she She needs the epidural now like there's three people in front of her and I go you tell her Yeah, so I go in i'm like there's three people in front of you. You tell them now I go, I know babe. You don't know No I know. I don't know. I know. I know. I know. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I don't know is useless at this moment. What do I do? Get me a doctor see and it's gonna get you some ice chips Yeah, right get your frozen grape get the hell out of here. Good lord So I end up going back out and they immediately came in they're like, okay if we don't do it now It's gonna be too late. So they ended up yeah, they pushed the other two ladies off a little bit see I have anxiety about that though because like my my anxious moment is like Like my wife will need something like that and I walk out and it's all of a sudden the walking dead It's just desolate. No doctors anywhere in the world. They're all on break. Everybody's got thankfully a mother baby. They're everywhere So exactly one's on the roof smoking. Right, right. Where's dr. Wilson? Yeah Man, yeah, dude. Yeah, no, that's that's no joke childbirth. Wow. Wow Wild wild dude. Awesome. Okay, so that's the first time I've gotten like an overview of what you do We got to dive into that. Uh, yeah um What would you say if you could narrow it down? We'll just say one statement and or If you can choose a word great, but if you can't like make a here's one sentence of what I do For people to understand what is that you do? um I'm a creative solution or creative Yeah, I would say I'd probably say a creative process Solution provider, right? Okay. Yeah. Yep. So yeah, I mean like we think outside of the box we provide Your think tank. Yeah, pretty much. Yeah. Yeah, it's a weird really niche market, but We basically deal with commodities all day. So there's massive amounts of money people bring a problem you fix it Yeah, pretty much. Yeah, pretty okay never in my wildest dreams Did I ever think i'd have this conversation that somebody does something like that is cool You want to know another real real quick, this is a real quick cool one my dad walks in to biscoe in Chicago They're making oreos just hell. Yeah, and then there's these ladies pulling Or broken oreos off. Hmm. What do you do with broken oreo? Make more oreo Don't eat it Not much better in the world than like a fresh bun like if you're getting You got a place that makes mcdonald's buns you take one right off the line. Yeah I don't know. I'm a bread. That's the jam. I love bread, too I'm a bread guy every time I walk into a food place. I'm putting the glove on and then i'm taking whatever's on the line I really need to do quality control wet chocolate twix bar. I'm right in there And they love you just frequent crispy cream all the time. I do like crispy cream red light is on baby Now i'm 41 baby my my freaking ass jiggles for a week if I have like two donuts i'm with you there man So let's tell you a lot I love that See, i'm not there yet, but eventually I will be it hits you man because i'm 43 now and it hits you Yeah, it's just all of a sudden. Yeah It's weird when I turned 40. I felt like I was like 26. Yeah when I turned 41. I was like man. I'm 41 I am i'm 41 years old. Warranty is gone. It's over. Yeah, it's over Yeah Anyway start calling you asking you about your warranty Do you shut up danica patrick? I don't need a warranty on this vehicle go daddy says you do So he gets in there oreos broken oreos all over the place and they say here's what we're thinking We we tried we we bought a couple of different machines. Yep Oreo is ori. It's a cookie lard essentially flavored lard and then another cookie And you try to grind that up. You're gonna just get a wicked mess Right, it's just agglomerated. It's all together. It's nothing So the idea is to make uh like a crumbly But flowable material, okay like an ice cream topping right what we all put on our ice cream. Yeah and so He figures it out. He has a specific system Still under nda So he figures it out unbelievable man. Yeah, he figures it out and uh puts one in in nubisco in chicago and then The ice cream topping got so popular And then they started putting it in ice cream and like it got so popular. They built three Oreo lines just to break them get the heck out of here, dude Wow, holy cow. Yeah, that is crazy true story Wow, dude that and see like that's something a hundred percent You would never think about yeah. Yeah, nobody ever think about no, that's where we live man. That's where we live So that's why all the cookies and cream tastes like oreo. Yeah Well, yeah, I got some really good ones right going right now that I can't talk about breaking. Come on. That sucks Can't awesome recycling one. I know that goes battery one. I'm sure that's cool. That's cool Yeah, really I like the battery thing. Yeah And I know you can't talk about it So i'm not going to press you but I like I'm probably going to like where you're going with the battery one, right? There's some there's some cool stuff. That's cool. There's some cool things going on, especially with what's going on presidents Like the battery thing was really big under biden and then trump takes office and and now it's minerals and sure that kind of falls Whoever was in the mineral world in the last six seven years. Yeah. Yeah, it's just The tailwinds have never been better. Yeah, so Anyway taking off some awesome stuff. That's awesome, man. Yeah, that is awesome. So Let's back up just a tad. Yeah What is your favorite thing you can talk about that you have worked on? Let me think um I could ask you in reverse if it's easier because i'm coming for the other question, too Yeah, I mean go ahead. Let me I got to think about it. There's The thing is is over the course of time since i've been there i've been learning Yeah, right. Yeah, i haven't really taken the reins. Yeah until last year a year and a half ago so like i'm deciding if it's something I think I could do or I can't do and So a lot of the stories really are my dad sure, right? Like one of the best ones ever was this guy called and said I need like 16 cyclones That's a way to separate air from product. Okay, and he's like I need 16 cyclones. I'm like what in the heck? Are you talking about? Yeah, he's like, here's what i'm thinking. I want to test a bunch of materials because I made this machine I'm like, okay. Tell me about the machine It uses uh pressure and sound frequencies. So it's called a pressure wave mill Okay, so okay. Yeah, it's sick It is like he can run it at like just before the speed of sound and it does really crazy stuff it basically creates these pressure chambers all over the place and It does amazing things with material right instead of hitting it to break it apart. It presses it apart Yeah surface area gets bigger as a result Bacteria explodes so it's like a five bar kill step automatic or five log kill step automatically. Yep, and it creates surface area so like you put old rotten cherries Sit them outside in the summer. You put those things in that machine Totally clean nutritional value is exactly the same because there's no heat in the process And then it comes out of dry powder that shelf stable for like two years Wow Yeah So he calls me up. He calls me up and he's like, hey, I got I got this i'm legit blown away Yeah, that is awesome crazy. I'm doing all kinds of stuff with it. That's awesome. He's amazing. He's a good dude, too Cut so he he asks if it's a freeze dryer. Yeah, no, it doesn't freeze it It doesn't freeze the material. So freeze dryer is really expensive to operate, right? You need like cryo or or some kind of like heavy duty free on long train long chamber big footprint, right? that It uh, it literally uses pressure inside of this mill. The mill's like it's it's creating a weather pattern Yeah, yeah is what it's doing. That's cool. Yeah, imagine going 5 000 feet up 5 000 feet below ground 5 000 feet up 5 000 feet below ground back to normal in A third of a second. Wow It's going down Wow massive pressure change. Yeah, it's cool and sound frequencies in there as well And there's some other cool stuff that I can't talk about Yeah, no, that's great man. That is so cool. Yeah cool. Yeah I live in a cool world like i'm really lucky my dad my dad and mom, you know Did that company i'm able to take advantage of it. You probably just saw my face kind of like What in the hell this is what you do. So, um You want to know what my wife told me that you did? Oh, I can't wait. Awesome. Yeah, let's hear this because i'm pretty sure he sells like construction equipment like farm stuff Yeah, I was like I have absolutely zero to go off of so I'm gonna trust you. You know how many you know how many people say you know how many people say that to me And then you know what my response is. I do pretty much. That's basically it pretty much Because try having that conversation you just had With somebody you just meet like you can't I don't know their background. That's rough man. That's hard. Yeah Yeah, I don't know who's who. Oh, so what do you do here? I've got an nda. I can't talk about it. Exactly Yeah, yeah, I sell farm equipment. That's beautiful. I would say that it sucked when I was like, you know Trying to meet ladies and it's post college. Yeah, these guys are like pre-med i'm at tom foolery's these guys are pre-med They're yeah, they got money from loans or whatever. I don't know how they do it But they're they're buying drinks and then like this 10 walks in She walks up to the bar. It's me Pre-med billy over there. Yeah Yeah, winston walks in. Yeah winston walks in she turns to me. I got a good smile, right? She turns to me and she goes hey, what's going on? I say Uh, yeah, i'm i'm john and what do you do? uh, I just sold a 350 cubic foot double ribbon stainless blender It's like Turn to the other guy. What do you do? I'm pre-med. Oh Yeah, billy Take me home billy. No, what's billy doing? Come on. Yeah Anyway, that's what I was working with indeed See what you see what you lacked there though was the additional step the perseverance you've been like, sorry I forgot to mention I sold it to billy's Right. Yeah, I sold a company that makes shit for billy. Yes. I sold to the guy that employs billy. Yes Bingo There you go. There you go. Heck. Yeah, see i'm all for that. I'm all for that. No, that's that's rad, dude Um, like I said, we never really like talked about it talked about it You know, we've like very briefly touched on it I could have gotten close but and I don't really I don't really like more family stuff and everything Very few people know what I do. I play golf. Yeah, people don't really know what I do I kind of I kind of keep to myself until somebody's like inviting like yeah hiding and yeah You know, I know you generally genuinely want to know and yeah makes it easy to talk about well and we Like I would say that we have had a good connection from the start Like we're able to like just chat and talk and just exist in the room and just have fun It makes one of us thank god Thank god. I got the the whole issue out Out of the way Now I know i'm no longer welcome No, I agree with that. I agree with that. You're a good dude. We we hit it off It's you know, yeah family events are what they are. It's not it's not like we're you know It's not like we're having a blast. Uh all day every day, but we make it really fun Yeah, and brad included and sammy's fun, you know, we make it fun. Yeah, we have a we have a There's a lot of opportunity for us to like just get together and hang out on days that aren't like the traditional family get-together days Right. Yeah, so like when we do make that happen, it's more fun to just be able to like Catch up and like bro out. Oh, yeah you know like yeah, we talked about like well, we'll go play golf or whatever and do fun stuff, but like If we don't get to do that, that's okay, too because we're still yeah, you know keeping up. So Yeah, that's awesome. Can I go back on one thing here real quick? Yeah um That hit a note with me because it reminded me of my dad was Dad staying in his car, but he's telling everybody he's in a hotel right like That right there Has got to just fire you up to go. I'm not dropping this ball Right, like that man literally slept in his car. I'm not screwing this up Yeah, and like I didn't have to sleep in my car Yeah, right and so he did that for you if abe if abe wants to take over ark and sales Hell no He's gonna drive that thing straight into the ground third generation. They always ruin it So classic third gen That's really cool, dude You know because I I think we can all say that our parents have probably done something like that You know not that exact thing, but some kind of sacrifice they sacrifice man, right? Yeah. Yeah and We're lucky. We've got parents that do that Yeah, absolutely and I hope that they get to look back At at our current situation and go man. How did they do that? Yeah Or I remember my dad talking to these two bums in the basement for hours Hours for a podcast trying to make me money. Yeah about farm sales equipment Because we got a demoine trip and a st louis trip and a mississippi trip all for baseball. Yeah, exactly Exactly, that's cool. And then he left and it was over I just had to I just had to emphasize that because that one it's sat with me. I love that man for sure That's true. That's true, too Okay, so let's uh bring it full circle What's like if you could pick out a most challenging one? Oh, okay, so i'm not gonna say what do you like the least because I feel like that's not true Like I don't think there's one like always we have like things that are like that's annoying to us But like something that's challenged you probably is a better question for real most challenging would for sure be uh guy came to us Had a machine that could grind Like two inch truck tires truck tire rubber. Okay. Yep. Yep So difference between a little background difference between a passenger tire truck tire truck tires all metal Okay, wire bead and then metal. Okay. Okay passenger tire is metal bead and then fiber inside of the uh, sure the rubber Okay, that's how they press the tires like the meshy thing. Yeah, it's mesh. Yeah. Yeah, so So so truck tire rubber He has this machine that uh can do like a couple ton an hour turn it into 80 minus mesh Uh, let's say 40 percent of it that you sell back to a company to put back in as a recycled material Back into new tires. Okay seals anything that's plastic phone covers where it's soft and plastic It's like 80 mesh is what that would be the size. It's a size. Okay And then there was a bell curve, right? So 80 meshes over here up on the top I would say field turf material Okay, so we had a bunch of people that could do field turf that were lined up to buy like pellets Um, no, like when you like the actual field turf, right and then the black Yeah, yeah, the little beads. Yeah, they're always all over my house black pellets. Yeah Yeah, it's rubber And so and then there's bigger pieces and that probably would go under the turf So they put it under and so we get into business with them and uh, we you know We think it's going gonna go great. We we do the system. We provide it. We got another partner and uh he he's working really hard this guy and His job was to run the systems sell the material, you know, we put the system together. Yeah, blah blah blah and We find out that the buyers aren't there anymore. So we got material We're ready to grind. Yep, buyers aren't there. Okay, so we're like what the hell Yeah, so we Move the system to somebody to an area where that we do have buyers And then all of a sudden the supply dries up. Oh jeez So you're like crap. Yeah, that's a supply and demand issue, right? Yeah, so Basically what happens was what happened was seven years later, right? I'm in this industry It's kind of a small industry niche and uh, is it niche or niche? I don't know. I think it'd be either one. I say both and I uh, I say both No matter what. Yeah, either either. Yeah. Yeah, right. Right. I do say either then then that's because you're classy You seem classy. It's the first time we met but you seem classy. I Don't let this fool you. I'm i'm from a town of 800 people. Oh my man. Yeah Michigan middle of nowhere I love it. I love it. You got a tattoo of the first buck you killed on your body. No, I don't but I should Yeah, I should get that they named him ronnie. Yeah, real real quick real quick, uh exit off the ramp here My wife's on a bachelor party or bachelorette party. Hopefully he's not Yeah, that would be uh, she's she's dancing currently Definitely new So we go we go down to floor or she goes down to florida bachelorette party They're on a pontoon, right and they're kind of like stuck on shore Oh boy, the tide's going out. They're stuck, right? So they need some help Yeah, it's two dudes rollover and they both got their shirts off and then I mean they're like 18 19 the dudes do yeah, they're like 18 19 and uh, and they're kind of they're kind of like if you uh, if you flash us we'll we'll Oh my gosh And so like what you know one one drunken friend, you know follows through with it And and they're pushing they're trying to get the boat back in the pontoon back in and this guy's got a tattoo of a buck And then my wife my wife is the best and this is the kind of shit She does and she does it because she knows what's going to happen Yeah, but she's kind of like leaning over the boat like hey, what's your name? What's your name, you know? Yeah What do you do? My name is mason ray, right? And and and she's like I got my acoustic up there on the land. She's like she's like, oh mason mason ray Thank you so much. What's that? What's that tattoo of and he's like dead serious That's that right there ma'am. That's the first buck I ever killed That's serious right there and she just busted out laughing went to the back of the boat Mason In the politest way possible. I am done with your shit. Yes from the midwest son Oh my lord All right Do not be sorry, that is great dude, that is a great diversion Teeth on the bar. Yeah, so first book first book. I love it buck 30 30 point buck 30. Love it. My chef took shit. Yeah, that's gonna have in the moonlight. That one right there It's named leron leron Just look up all the nascar drivers For this week and be like pick a name that was bubba this guy this guy right here He goes by earnhardt or dale. Yeah, that's dale. No. No dale's back here. That's dale. That's rusty and that's wallace. That's right That's right. All right. So where were we? I forgot something about diesel Oh, no, so You have a supply and demand yes Small industry so I find out later i'm doing a project for lehigh and they were would have been competition and I find out like one of the guys that's working there's like That was you because I told him I was like, oh i've been in truck tires before I know You know, I can help you with the screening whatever all kinds of stuff I got this new thing that for screening that might help so you don't have to wet screen and he's like, okay That's amazing. And uh And i'm like, yeah We started a company told him a little bit about it and he goes that was you I was like, yeah, that was us. Oh my god lehigh paid Or sold material to your buyers at like half cost so they wouldn't buy from you so then you don't have a buyer Yep And then they found out you moved and they went and bought all the material that you were supposed to get And they just they just stored it right out underneath took us out of business. Wow That's brutal. That's rough. Yeah, and that was probably the most challenging At the time it was challenging the money that was going into it was challenging And then once you find that out, it's like, oh, I have no hope in humanity Yeah, but at the same time, I mean like they gotta make their money. Yeah, I but I respect it Did this start like a I mean start like a i'm with you. I respect it. Did you guys go out and teepee? I mean, it was it was a good business too. It's a good business idea. Yeah. Wow Anyway, that's awesome. Um, and it's I mean I am a big proponent of this. We actually talked about this a lot nick You and I talked about this all the time, too But um, I I don't think you have an opportunity to grow in the comforting areas, right? Right If you're not crying get out of here. Yeah Like that that forced you to do something that you otherwise would not done not have done Um, so I I think that that's like even though it sucks when you're in it. It's horrible Like there's no fun part about that Um, but it definitely it makes you a whole lot better on the backside of that for sure I've screwed a lot of stuff up Oh, yeah, you got you have you almost have to in your line of work, right and you want to yeah Oh, yeah, and you want to tell your kids to do that. But then at the same time you're Let me figure I already figured that one out man in state to be like, yeah, bro I already beat the video game for you. Don't worry about it. Yeah. Yeah, just go to bed. Uh-huh Yeah, it's all over now. I got you like come on How how often do you ever find like one thing you're working on one project? You're trying to figure out the solution and you go Oh shit We have this one over here that we're using and that work let's see if it'll work for this part of it Yeah, yeah all the time you in that crossing that crossroad, right? Right. It's usually something that's like totally random Yeah, right like it you're in like You're doing a municipal waste project. Okay, right. Oh, yeah, and then all of a sudden you're working on I don't know e-waste. Yeah, and there's something that like maybe the e-waste is coming in and for some reason It sits outside before they bring it in and it's wet and you got the wet fiber e-waste And you're you're like I remember I remember when we dehydrated that that municipal waste And we use this machine and then let's try that so then What we're lucky is what i'm lucky with is my dad spent a long time Met a lot of people There's a couple other guys that 35 years 40 year veterans in the industry that work for arkansas Yeah, they know a ton of people. It's like if I want to try something Yeah Send a five gallon pail. Yeah No questions asked they will do anything that I I want and I try to reward them with a sale Yeah, yeah, sell their machinery if somebody does a test for me. I'm gonna i'm gonna use them. Yeah, right. That's kind of works Yep, it's cool. Yeah, you just try to figure stuff out all day. That is awesome. So you're relationship driven I love that man. Yeah I mean, yeah, not a lot of companies out there anymore doing that Yeah, well and you know a lot of ways you have to be because I mean it it becomes a Partnership nonetheless, right? I mean it's not like in a lot of ways what you're doing is enabling business to exist from another company. Yeah Yeah, I mean we're a solutions provider right creative process. You're not doing what the other company did to you You're actually extending. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I like that man. It's cool. Yeah. Yeah, we provide the solution Hopefully they make a bunch of money on it. That's the goal It's not like you know, it's always sunny in philadelphia when frank he's like the kids are like you make so much money What do you do? He's like I make money What I do like do you sell something or like do you have a service? No We just get money People just bring that Yep, i'm over here. Somebody over there has money. They give it to give it to me. Give it to me That's how it works here. I am with money Hey that that's a hell of a model. Yeah Hell of a model american, that's right. That's right. See, you know, that's just the reality right there Okay, if you can just figure out that's like all those like if you're not waking up at 4 15 And writing in your journal. Yeah, you don't have four hours of Grass to toes earth time. Yep. You're not grounding yourself mental stimulus You need this that i'm yeah, man quality of life, you know, and i'm not i'm not bashing it but damn No, you bring it down a notch you do what works for you, right? Everybody's gotta do what that works for them. Yeah, like i'm a big quality of life guy, right? So people are like, oh damn that's expensive like you belong to a country club something like that people are like, yeah, that's Expensive it's a big cost. Yeah, and like and I drive like uh f150 with 200 000 miles on it Yeah, and they're like you could You could get a nicer car or truck. Yeah, I could yeah I'm like I can but like quality of life for me doesn't get any better if I have a fifty thousand dollar car Yeah, right quality life gets better for me if I belong to a country club So people consider that financially more except uh more Um, you know, it's more expensive but I find the car To be like the equivalent of five hundred thousand dollars more expensive because I don't care Yeah, it doesn't but yeah, but if this is 1500 bucks a month to belong to a country club That might as well be free. Yeah Yeah, because of quality of life. Yes, right? So it's what things that matter Okay, so like things that matter make a difference, right? like the things that you find important and they Give you that kind of fun edge something to you know, take some of the extras out of your brain for the day Yeah, things like that make a difference. Whatever it is legos. What I mean, yeah, like Excuse me lego This is the exact reason I drive a paid off 10 year old car. Yeah. Oh, yeah, I don't my wife's pay I Don't need same here a new car like I love them. Yeah, I want one But I don't need it. I'd rather go do experiences. Yeah. Yeah, I'm with you So anybody that anybody that quantifies everything financially by a number is is uh, they need some help Yeah, and I mean it's just Who cares want to quantify quantify by feeling quantify things by feeling Yeah, and yeah, I mean it's just also like not that big a deal Yeah Well, like do you have to do you have to make it a big deal just because like somebody else makes less money than you I mean you could Yeah Oh, I hate people who think that way It is what it is. We're all unique people. All right, don't we are don't bash some people are Very cool and other people are taint snippers. Yeah Can you imagine if you had to just sniff a taint or multiple you said taint snippers multiple taints I'm out That's why that's what I got to open up that pocketbook man. I gotta open it up. That's why I fell in the chill category Yeah Not a good quality of life there. Nope. That's not what you want. That is not what you want That is like some law-abiding city every abc with the taint abc. What in hell are you talking about? I don't know but I like where he's going where we go ass butt connection That's the taint at abc abc Yeah, I mean, it's a little better than the Yeah, I do like the abc Yeah, there you go Take that home with you. You're not wrong. Yeah, let that sink in stick that in your pipe and smoke it Okay Okay. No, that's rad. That's rad dude. That's super cool. And I think that what you do is super cool And uh, it obviously is challenging and super rad all at the same time. I love it. Yeah, I love everything about it That's cool. And there's there's no reason not to yeah, and it's definitely different than Like arms. Yeah. Well, and it's also not a lot different From like making toys. Yeah. No, it's totally creative. Yeah Yeah, I mean a lot of outlet there your toys now just like create weather patterns and right destroy things But also make them shelf stable cherry dust, dude. Are you kidding me? Why not? Hey That's a that's a really big deal That one sitting here need it man. That's that one in particular. That was cool Yeah, that's a big one for uh for third world countries for like, yeah I know usa got a bad rap recently But the idea of being able to provide nutrition somewhere on a moment's notice, it's pretty all you need is water It's pretty cool. Make yourself a little slurry Yeah, and at least they're getting something. Yeah, it could be yeah I mean and for animals for humans, whatever it is, right? Yeah, it's pretty cool. That's rad. That's rad Okay, do you have more questions on that? No, i'm Just taking it. I'm taking it all in man. Yeah. Yeah, I asked what I wanted to ask but I Yeah, I think that's so cool. I i'm geeking out I agree, man. So So you don't have to so you don't have to if you don't want to navigate I mean we can get into some categories and I could just tell stories. I mean like oh, yeah Whatever you want to do you I think I think that I well I've got a lot of things bouncing around my brain. I'm trying to like prioritize them so I think like the most like the biggest thing that i'm thinking about is like Like if you weren't doing this, yeah, what would you be doing? Yeah, um Yeah, I don't know. I don't know. I don't I don't see myself outside of any of this um You're not like a like a leather pants front man. No shirt long blonde hair No, and i'm not like committed enough to one thing to be like, oh i'd be a golfer right or i'd be a like I can't do that. I'm a A i'm decent at all. I'm a master of none, right fair point. Yeah So and that's been my personality my entire life Um, I can do everything a little bit. Sure pretty good enough to be able to hold my own Yeah, hey bet. Hey man, you want to play pickleball? I'll come up with a couple good shots, right? Yeah, bring in a couple A little ATP action you want me to install you want to install a fan? I can do that. Yeah, right You're gonna install a fan that makes sure that that fan turns on and then also brings the air back up and rotates around Your room and then all of a sudden it finds its way into the blankets and you don't have to sweat all summer Oh my gosh, I got your game i'm your man if you want it you can make it Okay, but I know you want you want a story about or something that I do that nobody really knows about about sleeping Never in any of my where I lose dreams. Can I love I love hearing a story nick? You get so excited every time I bring something up like you can't wait. I know I love this. Okay, dude That's why I love being a barber. Yeah That's why I love being a barber because I get to hear all these Just nuances of life that people go through and the things they do and well and who doesn't get a little bit jazzed like about The cool things that and i'm like even if it's not my thing like hearing people have like a passionate response to anything Is super rad to me. Yes, like and let's let's not even say like a passionate response But like just enjoying what you do and even if it's not like your work, but like your hobby That's awesome. Yeah, that's badass him Jeff and mike have all had the best responses to that question where they're like, I don't really think i'd be doing anything else There's passion. Yeah, I love that. I'd be cutting grass. I'd be cutting that mike did say that. Yeah, that's rad, but Yeah, please go ahead. I'm i'm i'm where i'd be. I am your grandchild right now. Yeah. Yeah hearing a war story So let's go. Let's do it. Let's do it So actually I was on the putting green today and the pro was out there putting and uh, He's like I I remember the like two years ago I was giving somebody a putting lesson and you were like you gotta go left hand low I've been draining everything left hand low, right? And he's like you were so passionate about it and he goes and now you've got this bent over kind of awkward looking stance with the claw And I said and I what I said was i'm draining everything You have no idea you gotta do it. Why aren't you doing the claw and he's like, I love your passion. Johnny That's what it's all about man, you're like here's the deal man, like they set them up and I knocked the shit down Okay, so a little known fact about me real quick In the winter So I i'm hot. I'm a hot person. I run hot. You got it. I go to a wedding I'm dancing. I'm bringing two shirts hundred percent. And so three. Yeah, i'm It's not great. So There's there's some odors and stuff, you know, and but i'm hot in the summer I uh, I Sleep hot. Okay. So i'm i'm You know boxer briefs only same z's. Okay respect. Yeah, and that's great winter rolls around You know, maybe like I don't know late october Okay fall i'd say fall fall rolls around. Okay, and I go full Sleeping outfit full jams. Yep I'm dead serious. I went to h&m. This is okay. No, i'm dead serious This is i've got pictures like the whole thing because my friends don't believe it either until I like have a sleepover That's right. I just want a golf trip or whatever and I go a full sleeping outfit and what it is is what it is Matching color this is from h&m matching color t-shirt sweatshirt Sweatpants, okay long socks that I tuck my sweatpants into okay. You tuck the sweatpants You tuck the socks under the sweatpants Socks over the sweatpants over the sweatpants. Oh, yeah, like a seal Yeah, and so like and that's a v-neck t-shirt. So when I take that off, I literally look like a nurse Okay. Yes, matching outfit head to toe and then sometimes a lot of times I wear a sleeping beanie We're being awesome. Okay, dude I would sweat so bad. That's what everybody says you would thrash. Yeah, right you're in bed Get this off of me i'd be looking like i'm in a mosh pit Is Dead serious, that's what I wear and I am as cozy As you can believe it's I don't even know I sleep perfect. My body knows what's coming when I get in bed I'm comfy cozy, right? I'm not here to judge this I just think this is wild. I get a little scrooge like, you know, not scrooge. Um, who's the guy? Bah humbug that's scrooge. Yeah, no scrooge Ebenezer yeah. Yeah, so he wears a sleeping cap, right? Yep Yeah, but his my friends are always like you basically have Ebenezer scrooge the nicest Ebenezer scrooge i've ever met Because i'm wearing a sleeping beanie the whole thing, right? Okay, so wait. No, I got I gotta add to this real quick. I'm in i'm in yeah I can wait. I'm good. This is this is seven. This is wild six or seven years ago I bought my first sleeping outfit from h&m down in the plaza. Okay, okay, and I go down there and now today Matching full outfit sweat outfits are in Yeah, head to toe right like respect. Yep sweatshirt. Yep girls Guys, it's like in winston So i'd say this was maybe five or six years ago. I got onto the h&m and I I buy three of them Okay, okay Different colors teal ones. Yeah gray. I got a green one. Yeah. Yep And so I walked down and it's I got everything right. I got a matching sleeping beanie the whole thing So I got onto the checkout and there's this lady and she african-american lady really nice and She kind of looks like she has some style Okay, she's got style and I put these things down And I mean i'm as white as they come right and and I put these things down And uh, she goes, oh, I like these And uh, she said you're gonna look fly as hell in these Uh, and I go I go, uh, yeah, uh, actually these are was the plan these are for sleeping I said I'm i'm straight up. I'm honest. I said these these are my sleeping outfits And she goes Well, you can look fly as hell in bed See that that is quality that's quality humidity right there So so anytime my wife is like, I really with the sleeping outfit I go, babe I look fly as hell fly as hell. Yes, it's so good. Oh, what is uh, what is What does she say? Um, is it melissa mccarthy? on The movie the heat. Oh, i've never seen it. Oh, that's a good movie. Is it good? Sandra bullock is standing there and she's got on like a sleeping outfit, right? And she's like, all right. Well, we got to get going She's like let's let's go go get in the car and she's like sander bullock's like wait a second I gotta get changed and she's like, what are you talking about? What's wrong with what you're wearing? She's like, well, this is my pajamas and she's like, excuse the hell out of me. I didn't realize you slept in a tux Yes Like that's what I picture. It's like you just walking in like a james bond like penguin suit Hey, I never wear them outside. I never I rarely wear them downstairs I neatly fold them back onto the bed. So they're pure that i'm dead serious. It's a real thing Are you like that's what I do with my sleeping stuff are they like pressed and everything and ready to take care of it? Yep, I see I can't I can't fold my sleeping stuff because my boxers would just be there on the bed Walking around and if I see like katie's stuff laying around i'll fold it and put it on her side of the bed You clean yeah, nothing wrong with that. Is it a clean thing or an ocd thing? Uh, oh Both yeah I leave shit everywhere. Oh, i'm a neat freak Yeah, i'm right in the middle of the day. Yeah, I love it, too I love tight pants are becoming a thing again and I like they are they're coming back Yeah for sure dudes are trying to show off the old python legs. Why not? This reminds me of the monarchs game we went to last week. Yeah, which game against two? uh Would they play sue city? Sioux falls Sioux falls Sioux falls. Yeah that game. No. Yeah Yeah, my uh, my my wife's uncle is mark branmire owns the monarchs So we we were sitting at the on deck circle to talk to him too mark. Yeah, i'll get him here right down Right down one of the best dudes next to the dugout. I've talked to him once before and he's awesome And the first base coach's wife was sitting right behind us. We were chatting with her the whole time The boy's got a broken bat. Oh, that's awesome. Wait remind me was it does Is mark owned just bats? Oh, I don't know That might be something. Yeah, I don't know He's the best. Well, that's where we get our bats. He's super cool. Yeah I've only talked literally talked to him one time and I want to say it was at like family wedding. Yeah. Yeah Yeah, that's awesome, man. What about he's he's a like This guy could be raining fire And you're like uncle mark. How's it going? Man? He's like, you know what? It's a great day today Yeah, it's a great day. What a great day to be alive and i'm like my uncle mark. I love you so much His wife's fantastic too. She's like my biggest cheerleader. They're the best. That's cool. Yeah, go to monarchs games. It's fun Oh, they're a lot of fun. Yeah. Yeah, I like baseball. That's my uh, that's my that's my favorite stadium. Yeah, actually Well, that's where I hit my my big home your dinger the big big dinger nice That was the one I told you about where I actually hit it over the lights there. No, no kidding. Yeah That's i'm not actually shitting you on that. That's a real thing There's a news article about it and everything nice. So I hit it second one of the game Hit it and it went and it took one bounce in the middle of the street and ended up in the target parking lot Oh my god, that's deep. That's to be fair. That's like what is that like 480? Well, they marked it at 570. Oh well where it landed No, we're landing in the street. Did they call the kyle schwarber thing where they like put a box around it? And here's here's my deal. I don't know any of the details there This is just all information given back to me. That's so cool So yeah, I mean it was a cool deal like I got interviewed on espn and everything after that It was cool stuff metal metal bat. Oh, yeah. Yeah hundred percent. Yeah, so I'm not hitting that ball out over the freaking lights with wood Maybe when I was maybe when I was really playing like that I could but I mean man That everything lined up perfect for that. That's awesome. And I love that's a hit somebody somebody's thrown it in like 97 You connect kid was humming kid kid through pretty well What's really funny is that my friend was actually playing third base? And I remember around it and it was the second one I hit of the game And he's like you son of a bitch I'm like, huh? Tell your tell your boy stop throwing it down the pipe a little tap on the bottom and yeah Has it landed yet? Did you see one of these days? You'll understand what it's like to grow into your big boy shorts You ever wear chubbies yeah back before I mean that's where they started, you know, you know that field the lonely 2010 day Okay, so we're talking about monarchs. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah You were talking because you brought up the tight pants thing and this is a funny story Oh, yeah So we're in the on deck circle and the boys and I were just like all engaged and i'm like always watch the way They load watch the way separate. You know what? I'm like getting into it with them and My wife god bless her she goes look at his quads Classic wife and I go see boys. That's the difference between men and women We come to the games and we are watching Like the body the separation the coil the all the things look at how he runs through first base And the women come because of the butts and quads. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, i'm here for it. Yeah, whatever Sometimes laughing the boys are like but the boys are taking back like really But but but you're married. Yeah, i'm like guys Mom, look at dad's they're here for that. We're here to watch the load. Okay? Yeah, we're good. We're all good, baby But with all respect this dude was just diesel man Yeah, dude. There are some guys man that are just absolute dudes total units. Yeah. Yeah, and I mean that's awesome And I I wish I could remember that guy's last name man, but there was another guy playing shortstop for him Look like a total bro like a gamer. Yeah Just real tiny you can tell he's agile just quick We talking about dust in pejoria situation, yeah, yeah, okay But but he's got he's got the the coke bottle glasses on and you know, they're safety glasses or whatever But it's rocking rexpex What's that rexpex? We got a bill cartwright want to be out there dude. Yeah. Yeah totally. Oh, yeah represent Yeah, you can hit you can run can play short dude. They aren't jacking around and i'm like He's totally gaming at night. Yeah. Yeah He's just he had that whole Relax you hear the most recent story about monarchs the best story probably the best I don't know since i've since he's owned them They he talked he talked him into having open tryouts and the manager was pissed Yeah, the manager was like I do not want to be a part of this right? Yep At one point there was a guy that made me need a little help He was out there and we're like we might get hurt right and then 44 year old pitcher comes in and All this stuff, but they ended up signing two people Yeah, and then just went to the reds one of the kids three weeks in gets called up to the reds three weeks Yep, he was doing god knows what he's like 24 something 25 years old. He gave up. This is what we talk about Yeah, exactly the untapped talent that's just sitting out there. Yeah. Yeah, sorry No, it's unbelievable. And and now he's like, I think he's in triple a reds right now dude. Get out of here Yeah, that's crazy. There's another there's another story like that in when I lived in wisconsin There was a bartender and I can't remember the guy's name But he was a bartender And uh, was it vince? It was in philly actually. No, this was in the 80s dude. I was a football team This sounds like invincible I've seen this movie Hey dead serious this dude's a bartender in wisconsin like in milwaukee or wherever small town maybe and uh they Were like we want we want you to come try out because I think I think that a couple guys go to the il And uh, like we want you to try out and he goes he pitches And he's in the starting rotation like four weeks or weeks later And then the best part is is like he had like a five six year career after that Went right back to the bar and worked same bar, dude Why not put the ball up on the back of the bar and he's like, yep, it's unbelievable. It's so cool, man See that one right there Struck out there and it's a the untapped talent thing's very real like it's out there. It's everywhere There are so many awesome and talented people in the world. Oh, dude. Yeah, yes 100 you've been in nashville No, but like that's one where cool. So nashville is a perfect example of this, right? Like you we went to the grand o'lopery we went to the bars you go to the bars and you're like How do they now have a record deal? Yeah It's unbelievable. They're unbelievable. Yeah, how do what what? Incredible artists and yeah incredible artists that also have the record deals, right? And it but you look at them and you go, how do you not? How do how do you not? Yeah, how do these executives walk through this city and not go? Okay deal. She's the one deal. Yeah, or he's the one. Yeah Well, that's like so that even more so is kind of a reality of what we talk about here is like They see this outside Whatever it looks like right like you're just seeing the show Yeah, like you go to a show and you see the show. Yeah, and it's not about anything other than they have like the look Yeah, right Not about the person that can actually like connect with people on stage or the person that's like actually really good At bringing in people because they have this large following like in a lot of ways That's what nashville is of course. There's like you're on the strip like people are going to funnel in anyway but like at the same time There's so much to be said about being able to bring in people that you know Like that by itself if you don't know who those people are Like you're screwed. Oh, right, but they're never gonna have that conversation because it's all about the look Yeah, do I do I have the thing? Yeah. Yeah, you know like are my teeth perfect? Do I fit perfect into this outfit? What is it like? You know, I mean I take like examples But I can't think of one off the top of my head But like if you just happen to be in that one particular area and they look over and they're like well That's exactly what I was looking for. Yeah, right depends on the mood of the right Yeah, you're not wrong foot three two hundred and twenty five pound piece of man meat showing up. Thank your business Ebenezer hard to do baby hard to do we've been looking for ebenezer I should have I should have brought one. You should have brought one Yeah, what do I think we're gonna need to put one up right here on the wall? I'll be honest. I didn't I did not think I was gonna be talking about sleeping outfits, but i'm proud I did you I'm proud of you're a better man for it. I'm proud of who I am I think i'm gonna get a red one for I think we might put a nightcap up there. We're gonna put this for you Yeah in memory of johnny. Yeah right here. That's exactly johnny was here. Yeah, you uzi. Love it Could we get some cherry powder? Yeah Yeah, you guys are gonna have a bunch of weird shit on your wall by the end of this So hey, you know, i'm i'm here heck. Yeah, I am here for it. Okay. Well, uh, let's do this real quick Let's take a real quick 30 second break be right back. I'm done We're back We're back. Hello. That was a quick break quick break. It was a quick break man We learned a lot on that break actually more than I ever thought I would. Yeah, it's the next day It's the next day. Don't say it was four days later. Okay, you're gonna reschedule. No I'm in the same clothes. Yeah same clothes. I put a sleeping outfit out I put this back on yeah, but i'm wearing the night jams because it is comfortable This is a cap that i'm wearing at night right here. Does that count? It's night time right here moment All right, man, so um First part of the episode we got to hear all about what you do the the what is The johnny now we want to know that was pretty epic too. This is pretty epic. That's pretty rad sweet I appreciate that. I like that you guys like it. Thanks. Yeah, dude. It's awesome And actually now I can you know know more about that and then i'm gonna go home and tell my wife I'm seriously not gonna sleep tonight so much farm equipment, babe. You have no idea. You were exactly right His family invented a hay bale It should have been there It's crazy Yeah, you know the plowing discs they make them sharper. Yeah, they they came up the sharpest ever they put the pepperage in They They deal with the nap chocolate straws all day Chocolate straws they call pirouettes you dicks Don't knock pepperage I agree with you Know your stuff if you're gonna talk about it. That's like saying oh, that's light purple. No, it's periwinkle, bro Clearly i'm i'm off. I'm easily deniable Pirouettes I would have I would have had to dig a little deeper into the brain to remember they were called pirouettes All right, i'm sorry so much better All right. All right. All right. So we heard we heard about all the what is the johnny now We need to know who is the johnny. What makes you you? You said earlier your dad your husband talked a little bit about the kiddos What is like? Everybody knows kind of about the work now, right? Like what what else like what makes you tick like what gets you up? in the morning Hmm my Grandpa used to say something to my dad that I say to my kids now. He said to me and I say to my kids Really simple but pretty deep. Uh when you think about it and that is it's nice to be nice Oh, yeah And it's not you're not nice because you're gonna get something out of it or you're gonna get somewhere or somebody's gonna like you You're nice because it's the right thing to do. Yeah, so it's nice to be nice Yeah, and that's it like that's our family family motto and i've had people that are in business come at me and say Yeah, it's nice to be nice. If you want to be poor right things like that. That's not true I think you could be nice and you can still you know, make a good living and everything Do I think you're going to be mr wall street and it you know, it's nice to be nice No, yeah, but if your motto is it's nice to be nice You probably don't need to make all the money And you're you're going to be richer than the guy with all the money Yeah, we also I think we all also have this mindset that I would rather secure some real estate in heaven Yeah, truthfully. Yeah for sure, you know not to say that you can't with some, you know some slashes on your resume of life, but um I mean truthfully like we talk about this a lot. It costs you zero dollars To be nice and just to do the right thing. Yeah Um, are we all nice all the time? No, no, no, certainly not right? Yeah Yeah, I mean we all have those you gotta flip well and there's times you gotta flip the switch Yeah, yeah Like there's like if a goose comes across your kids. Yeah, you gotta boot it Well, I actually didn't bring that up this week. You heard what happened you kill a goose No, he about did no. Yeah, you got a boot a goose I'll have to tell you that story offline because i've told that story like 15 times in a row You get a lot of calls from pita not yet. Yeah, not yet. It's only a matter of time if we keep telling the story I did not do anything to a goose. No, he did not I was on the fringe damn canadians Yeah, dude We shoot them. What are they good for dude? I I literally this the goose it It knew what it was doing. It knew exactly what it was doing. Welcome to rexum austin powers What else andrew andrew wiggins? Yep, all the things Other than that get out of here I'm, sorry I actually like canadians. Yeah We yeah fair michigan. We really Like them, yeah Hey, you're there. They gave us mulson triple x. Yeah, there you go. There you go. I mean that was good There you go. So now now that we clearly know that our stance. Yeah, okay It's nice to be nice. I like that. It's simple in your face. Here it is. Yep. Be nice And like I said, it's also it just costs nothing like just be yeah human. Yeah And I mean you be be you're gonna be but like there's gonna be people that listen to this and they're gonna be Like I know john arkin and he was not nice in this moment Sure, I have that for sure. Yeah, that's it. Who does it? Yeah Um, and then I would say like as far as my So claire i'm lucky claire was a a preschool teacher, you know when i'm When I married claire, I was like, you know what? in Four years sick or no Yeah, five years There's gonna be a pandemic And my wife is gonna be able to teach my kids. That was that was what I was thinking. Yeah No, hell no, that's not what I was thinking right I got lucky she was teaching them The kids didn't miss a beat right? There's a social issue there that everybody experienced but besides that claire's claire's the absolute best and uh, We She basically was like How do you want to raise the kids? Right? You gotta have that conversation And we both kind of came up with what we came up with and we talked about it And then we read some books both read and I said I like this we read the same books Went to some classes for a long time and um, really tried to get on the same page So it's really important that you both are on the same page with how you treat your kids You can play good cop bad cop you can do all that But like the little things right like are you gonna bribe or you're not gonna bribe or you know All that kind of stuff, right the stuff that kind of like has massive repercussions. Sure and so You know, i'm i'm we were reading books and All that stuff. I think the most important thing In the conclusion that I would say like when I because I think i've got good kids like they're well behaved and they can speak and and uh I would say the most important thing is to raise someone Or try try to parenting is hard as shit. Oh gosh So hard. Yeah, but like to attempt to say to raise someone who is of good character instead of Good at profession, right? Sure Because if you're good in character You can leave like if my kid's good in character and they can speak to people and they can communicate and I get hit by a bus They're gonna be all right. They're gonna be all right. Exactly. They'll talk their way into some stuff and 100 But if if they don't have that but they're really good at baseball They're probably gonna work at qt right when they're 45. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, and that's that's for real. So like it's just one of those things like that's the priority for us and and um You know, we don't push really hard on certain things Like if the kids want to drive towards sports or whatever we're there to support that But you know, I think it's important to go. Yeah, I think it's how we have other things too Yeah, so like abes like all about the drums And I love it. I'm like get get you got to get something other than what the norm is Yeah, so totally down with that. It's cool. It's cool. Hensley hensley rocks out on the trumpet That's fantastic That's fantastic Yeah, I mean he's gifted. Yeah. Yes. Yeah, I love my grandpa. So like I didn't play an instrument Master of all or no master of none. Yeah, but a doer of all so like I can play guitar. Sure Can I shred? No, no, right my grandpa played um sax And he was in a swing band called burden arkin and the rhythm kings. Oh dude That's he was the lead sax in a rhythm in a in a smooth jazz band. That's awesome Like a swing band Anyway, he was how often was he standing on a street corner with an open saxophone case on the on the ground and just like Exactly, he's doing careless whisper before it even came out. Yeah. Yeah, he didn't even know man. Yeah There's no money in there. He wrote the music for glenn miller Exactly, there's no money in the trumpet case. It's just undies exactly men's and women's Yeah Somebody walks by and you're like dude, you think this read is gonna blow itself. Come on, man That's a little something for the effort Totally Yeah, yeah exactly. That's not what I meant. Yeah. No, you can put your shirt back on, sir Really? Uh the the kid thing too what I think is cool We're a lot like that katie and I are a lot like that and I have So in the mornings when I drop them off at school, I have two questions for each of my boys Yeah, oh, I like that and it's what are you gonna be today? Confident. Yeah, what are you not gonna be an asshole? Yeah, I love that. Those are great And they love it because they get to say asshole. Yeah. Yeah, I know I love it because yeah I want you to be confident, but don't be a dick Yeah, you know at the same time and and I think that's really important for most parents uh to hear as Just make good human beings man, you know, I think we're gonna I think there's there's a shift There's an uptick happening and a lot of people are realizing how important it is and I believe most people are good Yeah, um, I am with you but on the drop off. My mine is always talk to somebody you haven't talked to in a while Oh, I like that. Yeah. Yeah, like all right. You haven't talked played with them. Talk to them. Whatever Yeah, talk to somebody you haven't talked to in a while. Yeah, my dad one of my favorite quotes from my dad um He always said be careful the toes you step on today because it could be connected to the ass you have to kiss tomorrow Yeah, oh, that's a good one. Yeah, that's true. That's right. He'll appreciate that. He listens to all of them He's gonna be oh, yeah Yeah, I would say like if there's a one book that yeah If people are like, oh, yeah, I know lily. She's kind of nice. There's one book. I would say, um Read ten things mentally strong parents don't do It's just so good interesting. Yeah, so okay See i'm all in for that kind of stuff because I mean annie and I are really starting our parenting journey truthfully Like, you know, we have a toddler and then a nine-month-old Um, and that's a whole different beast. Yeah, right like it just it just is Um, so because it puts more responsibility in your lap Before she had her and now you got to take her while she's dealing with the newborn and yeah It's tough. Well and truthfully like, you know now we're in the man-to-man situation, right? Um, and we've like we we would really like to have three so like our you know, god willing We get to have a third one for sure. Um, well if you have three you might as well have four Yeah, you know many times we heard that. I love that. Yeah. Yeah, you know shut up. Yeah Yeah, no, i'm gonna go fall down the stairs now Like and I mean and truthfully like we're we're on board with whatever like There's a plan for us and we're cool with that plan totally fine with that. Yep. Um, No, that's not to say that we're just gonna you know At all night every night willy-nilly. Yeah, exactly willy-nilly. Yeah, no sleeping outfits or no sleeping outfits. Exactly Stay on your side of the bed Um, here's like here's a sleep token Exactly. Yeah, geez exactly. He can't get off this sleep token thing. He loves it But um, no, I mean that's like the thing is like we're cool with that So we're just trying to figure out like How to start that? Yeah, because a lot of things start at that toddler age like a lot of habits, right? So we're trying to like build that. Yep. And I mean, you know, annie's a first grade teacher Yeah, so it's she sees a lot of that so she brings a lot of that kind of mentality. That's cool Man, you get that cheat sheet. Yeah. Yeah, and truthfully like that's a huge like base So if she can help build that and I can just kind of be around to support that. Yeah, i'm all for it Yeah, just know what's going on be engaged in like If you say like this is the parenting style we want to approach then say well, what books should I get? Yeah, and just Just do yourself a favor read three books. Yeah, and it'll it'll change your children's habits and lives forever Yeah, that's it. And then now you guys are on the same page live an intentional life. How crazy is that thought? You know, yeah, that's pretty damn crazy. I'm gonna settle down people just swing it And it is what it is you work off the cd-rom that you were given Yeah, your dad yelled at you a lot you're gonna yell a lot that's just that's true It's just a part of who you yeah, it's a part of who you are You go back to what you're they call the cd-rom that go back to the cd-rom. Mm-hmm. It's true. It's a good point Um, so I need you to tell a story. Yeah, I know this story nick doesn't know this story and some people in the world know this story What's it about? You got to tell the story about when abe was Uh What he was for Halloween, oh shoot Uh, yeah, he was he was andy reed right big dude. Yeah, and he's not like abe's not awkwardly large. Yeah He's just large. Yeah, right. He's a big Yeah, right and uh, he was he was andy reed i'm gonna do a little picture here, but he was andy reed and uh We we posted a picture like on instagram, yeah, and it was berserk his face was very much like andy's Kind of stoic Trying to come up awesome. This is no joke. He had glasses on the whole thing. And so, um, his his face was So perfect that News called I want to do an interview what come to our house, right? And it became a thing and then the philly news called and did interviews so for and then number number Crazy the craziest one was barstool reposted it what yeah Yes, and it was like right in between it was like I don't know. We I don't know if we could talk about this stuff But it was when you know ass eating season was like a thing And so it was like Like that was a thing What did we just walk it yeah No, i'm dead serious. So you go You go to You you go to uh, dude, i've seen this picture. Yeah, it's amazing. Yeah, are you kidding me? It was before this I mean this was six years ago, right? This was i've seen this picture This is what he was three at the time. I think yeah, it's 2017 Yeah, so what seven eight years ago eight years ago. So Dude, that's incredible. It's amazing. And so at like barstool it was like Bill clinton and then a reference to that and then my son Right next to it and and he's just getting hundreds of thousands of likes, right? Oh my god It's just like a totally viral moment and clarence like, oh should we should we tell him to take it down or like And i'm like no who gives who cares? Yeah, like just let's live in this moment and you know He's in a costume. It's not like yeah, you know, he's in 11 when he's older. Yeah And so yeah, he's the nirvana baby of our time. Yeah, like dude, that's incredible It was like what right before people started dressing their kids up as coaches then next year You saw like ditka and like, yeah all these really good coaches and stuff. So anyway, that was that was a that was a That was a good one. I needed you to tell that because I knew I knew that he knew about this But dude, I totally know about that. Yeah, isn't that crazy? That's crazy. Well, i'm like what a random thing too Like it was just something you guys thought was fun and then out of nowhere. Yeah, we put them in a big like zip up windbreaker Funny man, so wow So, uh, what's like what's like your favorite? Um Like hobby then outside of outside of being a dad It's tough because like like I said, yeah do all yeah. Yeah Like I like I like painting. Yeah, I like uh, I like golf I like all I like all kinds of stuff. Yeah painting like Like paint like painting a home. No, like painting Pictures. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. I can honestly tell you I did not know this about you. Yeah. So like what do you paint? Uh, there's like a variety of things. So I try I I like physics, right? So I majored in Industrial design with a minor in psychology. Yeah, and then I took a ton of physics classes and you got like a phd and like astrophysiology Extraterrestrial being i'm not that smart tallies. I'm just passionate like you said When I like something yeah, I get it done, right? Yeah, I've into it, but I'm not passionate about everything like astrophysics Alien studies, whatever that was dude. If you're neil degrasse tyson, I get it. It's cool So, uh, yeah, I think that what I enjoy is the variety of life does that make sense? Yeah, totally. I like the idea of setting up travel. I like the idea of working on my house I like the idea of painting. I like the idea of playing golf. Yeah, I like the idea of biking I like I like the idea of variety of life and it took me a long time to realize that that was okay When people what's your hobby? Yeah, i'm like, I don't i'm not gonna pick a hobby Yeah, I want to do all this stuff. I'm gonna do all kinds of things. You're a lot like me in that Yeah, I do lots of different things. Yeah, this is like yeah, it's like i'm talking to myself too because i'm Minus the painting thing. I've never really gotten into that. I don't think i'm not gonna rule it out. Yeah But yeah, but like I like tinkering. Yeah, like and that's okay. Yeah, like it's okay to be that person Yeah And so the idea of physics is uh bringing physics into painting in certain capacities, right? So like modern art or pop art or things like that like franz klein was awesome Right smoked 50 packs of cigarettes a day genius his his paintings were uh multi-layer Uh huge brushstrokes house paint it was during that jackson pollock era that kind of stuff sure and You can stand in front of a painting and look for the depth of how those strokes were made and all this I love him. He's he's great and the idea is how do you create depth or deception or Uh things like that. Yeah through physics with painting right or with art So, yeah kind of a kind of a cool deal. So anyway, i'm i'm fascinated by that. That's red. Yeah I'm i'm all for that. I I think that there's something to be said About being able to and finding a way to express yourself Without having to say anything yeah, yeah And that's not to say i'm i'm not saying like don't go do poetry if that's like what you're into Like i'm just saying like in general being having some sort of expressive outward expression of who you are is helpful And not having to have somebody understand it, you know, like it doesn't need to be like talked about You don't really need to explain it. Yeah, like it's just a thing. Yeah Yeah, which is cool and and like I play golf, right? Um, yeah Um, I got a golf story. I am all All right. Yep This is a this is a doozy. Oh boy strap in Like this might be the best golf story you've heard in a long time maybe ever I'm down for this. I'm down I'm building it up. I'm ready. I'm building it up and hey, and this is another one I don't say this kind of stuff at like family stuff. All right. I'm in so All right. So last year, uh fall Uh, buddy calls he's like hey, we're gonna play golf Um, how about on friday t off? I don't know 10 30, right milburn It's awesome. So i'm like, all right. Yeah, sure. So a couple guys from I we go to sanian parishioners Catholic love it. Okay. Yep. So it's a four guys from from sanian plus another guy. Yep. So Get through number one number two number three I think I had like one beer at that point and step up to number four number four at milburn 341 yards Nice, I hit a piss missile Right over the trees on the right Hits the apron Bounces up goes down into a little bit of a gully on the green can't see the pin Well, we can see the pin, but we can't see the actual. Yeah Yeah, so we're walking up and like there's a hole in one club and all kinds of stuff and we're walking up And the guy i'm walking with ben, he's awesome He's like man, that'd be crazy if that went in wouldn't it? I'm like, yeah, that's crazy. That'd be insane So we we walk up there and there's two balls on the green and i'm like, oh shit So, yeah, i'm like are these your balls and chris and nick they're like, yep. Those are ours. Yeah, i'm like, oh Don't even look around the green go straight to the hole. Yeah, look in there. See that little arkansas logo Let's fucking go Let's fucking go I'm screaming. Okay. Yeah Top of my lungs boys are coming over those goosebumps. Okay boys are coming over And then this is the part I left out My priest runs over gives me a big hug. He's the fifth guy So i'm playing golf with our priest And I hit a hole in one one in seven million Hit a hole in one on number four at milbourne Is unbelievable and we're drinking afterwards. I mean it was insane So like and it's still to this day is unbelievable and I and I yeah and I took an oath, right? Like there's a personal oath That I kind of thought about because I did this one time and I felt like shit after I did it Somebody said I got a hole in one. Mm-hmm. And I was like, I got a hole in one too like Recently on a part on a par four And the guy was just deflated. Yeah. Yep. He's like, yeah, I don't mine's dumb Yeah, mine's dumb compared to yours. And so I took an oath. I'm never bringing it up Unless somebody else brings it up. Yep, because that hole in one is probably the best thing That's ever going to happen to somebody else and it's probably going to be on a par three And you got to celebrate that person and their time and their moment. Yeah, and it's just awesome, right? Yeah, like you said like it's a huge thing Yep And I mean being in that moment like i've i've hit some shots that are like really pure really nice Yeah, and not not hole in ones and i'm like telling people about that. Yeah. Yeah, right That's me guy jumps and he's like well, I got a hole in one on that i'll be like Yeah, you're right. Excuse the hell. Yeah Yeah, I know like yeah, and so you can't do that you can't start a conversation somebody else has to start that conversation Yeah, i'm so i've had enough. I I can't bring it up. This is different. We're in a podcast. You want to hear that's incredible My dad my dad will like that. Nice. Well, so You don't know this. Yeah, his dad was on tour for a little while. Yeah, so that's awesome So he's all about that's awesome. He's all about golf. My little sister played. Uh, she got a full ride played at uw Oh nice dude, she had a hole in one. My dad had a hole in my mom had a hole in one Three iron on a par three right by our house and was at reedsburg That's so and so I was like You're the only one that doesn't have it. Yeah, and there's this sign in our basement bathroom at home. That's like You know the hole in one prayer And I read it all the time and i'm like bitter everybody in my family. Just give me one hole in one Yeah, did you go up with a marker and put par four checkmate? Yeah No, so like all the historians. Oh, yeah everybody there's been a hole in one on number one. There's been a hole in one on number 16 which is par four Both shorter, okay, but never a hole in one on four. So only one you're the only guy There are no man. Yeah. Yeah. See that's red. So Yep, so I went in to get my my complimentary flag So they have the flags with the numbers on it Yeah, you go in and get a milburn flag and i'm like hey luke hooked me up with my flag and he goes Uh, we don't have any number four flags And he's like I gotta I gotta order I gotta order one. Yeah, it's like oh, it's so good Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome. That's rad. Yeah, it was crazy. It was crazy Wow, so like I was I was drinking and you know, the father is drinking we were having a great time We have this unbelievable new pastor And uh, he does a homily the next day and the whole homily is It's all about the hole in one In like sense of community and like those guys and you can't take those things away And like there's so many things that we do together as like a parish or whatever it is And uh, it all tied together. That's so cool, man. Yeah, it was crazy So he you know, he might have drank a little bit that day And he goes to a dinner party that night and went with one of my buddies and he texts me and he's like What the hell did you do? Father can't stop talking about you And he might have had a couple of beers and i'm like, yeah, i'm sorry bro. That one's on me I'll take the heat. You know, I think the lord and I are in a good place tonight. Yeah, that's hilarious That's awesome. So I I can't even ask for a one time anymore. I have to ask for two times see that That story right there is exactly why whenever I can't find the ball. I'm like somebody go check the hole Check the hole and you know, you hit it 60 yards to the left. Yeah. Yeah, that's me Yeah, well, but some of the sometimes you're like I hit an absolute nuke down the center Yeah, yeah, and I can't find I can't find the thing. Yep. Where is it? Yeah, it's like some somebody came by and they picked it up and i'm getting pumped somebody's playing the next hole Yeah, saw the ball loved it. Yeah. Yeah, I need you to kill all the gophers Yeah, the gophers See you're hiring over guys lock me up and throw away the key not the golfers the golfers I just watched that today at the barbershop. Nice. So good. That's an instant classic man instant classic Exactly Okay, so we know you're a golfer. We know you're a golfer that you love golf. So then um Like what what else what if you? Dropped everything today Let's just say this is a hypothetical of course because I can't imagine a world where my wife and kids don't exist Oh, okay. We're gonna do that. We're gonna do the hypothetical Okay, what what would johnny be doing if it was just the world is your oyster and there's nothing else I mean What does that look like? Yeah, I don't know. I don't i'm gonna say this. I don't want I don't want to think about it Right, like it's hard. Yeah, I don't like the idea of it. I don't like the thought of it Um, i'm not afraid of death. I'm not afraid of talking about death. Yeah, but You know my life is Incredible because of those four. Oh 100 right and then the people that are connected to it So, yeah, I I don't even like to think about it But what I would do is probably the same thing that I want to do with my kids Which is and my my wife which is I like to travel I travel sure right? Yeah I love japan probably my favorite not probably favorite country in the world by far other than america. Yeah I love japan. I probably travel a lot that that'd probably be my thing Yeah, see I I I love that answer because i'm in the same boat like I don't know how to uh, I can't put myself in the position of thinking about that. Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's really hard So what would you do with them? I'll travel with them Yeah, like I think i'm gonna do the things I want to do with or without them You know, it's funny because I get a lot of grief. Um about being like sappy or whatever and I It's it's like a really true thing that you don't know until you know it of being a father, right? Like weird it is weird. I remember like turning 41 exactly You don't know until you know, right? Like when I was in college and like somebody told me that they were having a baby not like friends in college But like if a family member said that I'd be like, that's really awesome like congrats But like now that i'm a dad i'm like Yeah, yeah. Hell. Yeah, you're having a baby. That's awesome. Welcome to the club, bro Yeah, exactly like I want to throw a party. Yeah, like it's so much cooler And i'm not i'm not like, you know I'm not saying that to like be negative towards anybody that has troubles with that or anything No, it's the reality that like dude, it's so fun and I want that for anybody that wants that You know, that's super cool and I I've never really thought about that before becoming a dad but I think I at a certain point it's like I get the the oh you're super sappy card because like people are like, oh well, you know your uh Heart monitor's going off. Yeah Yep, his heart's fine You know gets a little wild in here Um, but yeah, it's like, you know, I I told ann one day i'm like man It's like as soon as they're here i'm already like losing time with them and that's such a bummer And it's just such a negative way to think but like I just love so much about being a dad No, that's the healthiest way to think about it Yeah Because if you think you have unlimited time then you just kind of lose track of it and you're like I'm gonna do this instead or whatever. Yeah, but if you know that every minute you're losing You think about that and you act accordingly. So that's The it's sad. It's the live. It's a live like you're dying Right. Yeah, right. Yeah, like where do I really want to spend my time? Yeah, 3.7 seconds on a bowl named food man chou. Yeah, live like a guy. That's right. That's right That one right there. That's a classic. Yeah, I want skydiving. Yeah. Yeah, there you go. Yeah rock mountain climbing. Yeah so, um Yeah, I would I would say that that's that's not sad. That's more aware. Yeah and and healthy Yeah, yeah, and I think if you're if you're dad you feel that a lot too like a lot But that's not like it's special to me. Yeah, by any means, you know, like that's not a I'm not unique in that sense. Yeah, very cool. Okay. Um, well, I think I think it's time to get into some of these fun ones To really dive into who you really are Things really kind of turn over in this section. This is our lightning round. Okay, and things get weird. I'm not gonna lie Really weird Like uh kind of nervous, but i'm not well, let's just start off with an easy one if you could master any skill instantly But it has to be a useless skill What would it be all skills are useless? And all skills are useful It just depends on where you are right That's right If you're in an auditorium with nobody of being the best flamenco guitar player in the world doesn't do shit Probably doesn't do exactly. Yeah, you're standing in the middle of a field singing at nothing Okay, so what it be the master of something useless. Yep You could snap your fingers and you you can master it right now See all the things that I would aspire to to do are like useful, right? That's this is a really difficult question It is um, very difficult. I think Um Useless Would involve something outside That I would want to do. Yep. Um, I would probably It would probably be something so bizarre and random Like Like if I if I could like you want to be the best like oyster shucker Yeah, like no like if I could do that's a good one if I could replicate every bird call Right. Oh shit. That's awesome. You know, like yeah, you're just you're you're and now you're you're getting into the bird scene Yeah But it would be it would be dude that was that would be binoculars set up. I try to talk to birds sick paradox Yeah, first I do that stuff all the time But I I just feel like something outside that I could use by myself. Yeah, and kind of be at peace I don't know. Yeah, I'd probably yeah something like that Like I said definitely see you being like a like a tripod binoculars guy six set of knocks I have a lot of Yes Yes. Yeah Love you telling all your friends love knocks my new knocks. Yeah I have I have a lot of useless skills though, like I buddy phil phil in in reidsberg best friend in reidsberg He would always say you can do the dumbest stuff. It's so good I was that guy juggling. I was a really good juggler. Yeah, right, like that's one thing I couldn't do but Do you like juggle like I don't know like anything like ducks and the ducks were also juggling like chainsaws. No but like but like like Just dumb stuff. Yeah, like if you you want me to bounce a bounce a ball on a seven iron Uh golf ball on a seven iron and then hit it up in the air and smoke it and then smoke it That's like dumb stuff that I can do what does that do nothing right nada, but it's rad my buddies used to tee up marshmallows that's a that's a fun game actually and like launch them to me and I Catching stuff in your mouth. I was really good at that all the time. Yeah Yeah, I could swallow a spaghetti noodle whole no and then bring it back up. No, okay That's freaking ridiculous. I love spaghetti. You just ruined it for me I do favorite meal can't eat it ever again Every time that was the last time i'm gonna be knee deep in meat sauce and spaghetti and then we'll be oh Man, they can pull these out classic nick. What'd you do to me man? Yanking noodles out of his lips Yeah That's gross All right. All right. I respect it. I respect the effort. Yeah, I don't know something outside so okay. You got one nick Yeah, yeah, yeah, man fire away Kind of on this useless thing sure Uh, what's your most useless hidden talent that you are strangely proud of All right useless talent that i'm strangely proud of um, this is this is hard Uh, he's like I got so many. No, I like Because we were talking about i'm trying to think of what i'm really proud of um I I can I can drive a really long way And not really get tired or anything like that. I can yeah, I can drive like 15 hours and be totally fine. Yeah yeah, um, I think that's really like a useless talent or that because it's pretty useful but um That is a very random one. It is. Yeah I don't know. I think I I think I just fall into this weird category of the ability to do Almost anything that's asked right? So if somebody says Um Anything about their house. Yep I could probably figure it out, right? I could probably do it. Um, and and the reaction is always like How do you know how to put up crown molding on like how do you not know on an awkward angle in? In my kitchen, like how do you know how to cut crown molding like that's like Well, I live in florida for six months. I renovated Condos and this guy on a harley-davidson drove in and showed me how to do it, right? Like but like I think I just have like a plethora of things that people always just say like How the heck how the heck do you do that? Yeah. Yeah, like yeah, so Random stuff one-offs like that. Yeah, I would say The thing that maybe i'm the most proud of is the ability to shoot a daisy red rider bb gun on point every time on point like Even long range two eyes open Daisy rider 60 percent of the time it works every time I did that for a really long time. Maybe throwing knives too. I'm pretty good at throwing knives Now we're gonna try that. Yeah, I guess we're gonna have to go and throw some throwing knives on. Yeah. Yeah So like it's just a bunch of random shit. Hey, i'm cool with that. Yeah Um, okay, let's take it way off of that. Yeah way left field There's a zombie apocalypse that just broke out excluding your loved ones. Of course What are the three things you're bringing? I mean weapons and ammunition, right? That's one. Yeah, let's say together Yeah, because you can't use one without the other and i'm not gonna I'm not gonna say food because i'll just pick some of that up on the way Yeah, like I got it all something. No, you're like random houses You're going to random houses. Sure. You're going to grocery stores, whatever. Yep. Um, i'm probably gonna say that I would take I mean No cell towers. Yep, don't need that TVs. No electronics. I'm probably gonna take a uh You want something to feel human still because you sure you got zombies everywhere Sure, so I probably have something that like a picture of the family Pictures photo album of some kind like small. Yeah, like maybe 15 pictures from from when zombies were not everywhere Okay, right. Yeah kind of like uh I'm gonna be able to sleep tonight because I know that this existed. Yep, right. Yep Because you gotta have some kind of comfort so I would say guns and ammunition and then and then i'd probably say something like I'm trying to think of a tool that would be most useful But all I keep going to is a machete, right? Yeah, like just chopped a lot of a machete Yeah, machete is a great tool. Um, also good weaponry Yeah, that's probably what i'd go with yeah something that's dual purpose, right? Yeah, obviously I want like a sawed-off and a sniper and yeah, of course, you know Maybe that kind of stuff, but I think I'd probably go with something that's multifunctional I definitely I agree with all that one thing that always comes in my brain is like I really want like a rain barrel Just to have like a water collection. Yeah, some sort. I like that. That's good Like that's like the only thing I could think of that's good. Like what do I want to have? Can't just go to the lake and you know, bring my Bring my whatever sanitary straw that sifts out all the bullshit The life straw, yeah exactly. No, I love it hit the pause Sorry, johnny had to pee pee. Okay I mean like I said, this is uh, this is a no cut zone. We're good. Okay. All right rad Okay, I like it nick. You got one. I do okay fire away If you had to wear a one halloween costume every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Man, these are really good by the way. Oh, they're like I said, they're out of left field. They come out here Would I wear it to work? Yes. Oh, okay Um Let's just assume though. Let's just assume that like hr was not a not an issue. Yeah, but like It's not like just because i'm wearing an mlb outfit doesn't mean i'm playing in the mlb Correct, right? Okay Okay, one halloween costume um Can it be removed or no? I'm gonna say yes like occasionally. Yeah. Yeah, I probably scream mask I'd probably I love that. Yeah, I'd probably go just like old school Yep, just a classic mask like I like that. I'm just at minsky's Order a large pizza, right? I got cheese sticks Why do I feel like this would just be a funny as hell skit to see I just I pop that mask up Take a couple bites Thank you Yeah, i'm in like the black robe kids are looking over like what mom? What is this thing? What is going on? It's like son. That's my childhood Every everyone that's like 40 50 60 is going to be like respect man Yeah, that's the one you had to deal with yep, so That's something like classic like that. Yeah, that's cool for sure. I have a uh You what would yours be? Oh, man That's a tough one yeah, I know it's tough, but well I I thought it was really hilarious to be uh maui this year Yeah for uh, my daughter's in love with moana. Yeah, and thank you. Yeah, of course. Yeah, why not? Yeah, so of course I I was maui and I got to wear the nice long hair and yeah And I took it to the extreme like I was walking around the house in this costume and just like sup mama Yeah, you're here often and just like putting my leg up on stuff. You got your hook Yeah, that's so awesome man speaking of hook, uh bringing in Yeah, exactly stuff like that, you know Um, I mean it would be something bananas like yeah Like every time you go in the kitchen, you're like boat snack. It's like you're eating just Deli ham. You don't need to say boat snack. Look at my wife you Bed snack, yeah bring it in mama. Yeah. Oh i've got i'm trying to find the picture of the costume i'd wear Dude, I think that there's like no there's no wrong answer when it comes to costume No, yeah, I I get that um, I I guess it's just what I would be comfortable with like I want people to feel really uncomfortable but also like Yeah, recognizable like not totally freaked out. Yeah, I I just I agree with that. I just love like when you said that I just love the idea of picturing picturing that in everyday circumstances just walking around like super long hair and no like the like all the Mild one, but like you're at your son's baseball game. Yeah, and you're like, come on Make sure you load make sure you load and you're just in the fuck. You're in a scream mask Squish the bug Everybody Everybody else is normal and you're just like trying to do seeds and spit into the mask. Oh, dude I don't sorry. Yeah, there's a uh, there's a guy that I follow He played played ball at kentucky and he was drafted I think to the tigers And he has a really hilarious baseball page and um He he makes some really funny content about like when your dad was like teaching you baseball Yeah, and it's like, you know, you show up to the to the field and it's like You forgot your cleats dad turns around your shit He's like he's like up on the fence like watching the bat He's like you're getting the playstation five take when we get home. I'm done with this He turns and he throws his throws his chair at the fence. Yeah, she's the wife's yelling at him Did you see he threw the damn ball over the fence? Hey with abe play with abe playing baseball I relate to that like And he's doing machine and kid pitch. Yeah But i've also had like a massive sunflower seed revival personally. Yeah, and it's an addiction you go through it you get into some Yeah, you get into some real and there's a lot of like some good ones There's some really good ones that they're selling like blue belly rec has a bunch of them where it's like Obviously They're just coated in chemicals. Oh like spicy cheeseburger Yeah, flaming hot cheeto the taco bell taco supreme. Yeah, give me those Give me those for sure. Every single one of them put them in the bag. I'm on a smacking brain Those are gill pickle, yeah, those are great. I just had those the other day for my first time. They're good Yep, they're good. I still don't like dill pickle, but I saw cinnamon churro today target. Yeah, i'm gonna try them Yeah, they're good. I'm gonna try those crack pepper crack pepper. Yeah, it's a classic My favorite one is kettle cooked Cattle corn. Yeah kettle cooked sweet and salty. I'm a big sweet and salty guy Oh, well that leads right into my next question, which is great. Okay. Well, first of all, um, You know, you you all have had toddlers before so I have an active toddler And uh, she just got a new fun thing for her birthday. That's like an ice cream cart Okay, right and it's not big but you know, you put the fake cone on and do all the things right? and she She comes up and she asks you what kind of ice cream you want? Yeah, like oh, well, I want chocolate with uh, with whipped cream on top. Yeah, I don't have that Oh my gosh, I love that response madison. Yeah And i'm like and i'm like, okay, well I would like uh mint chip with a cherry. I don't have that. Sorry We're all out. Yeah, exactly. So usually my third is what I get. So My question to you. What is your third favorite ice cream flavor? Oh, that's really good. All right, let's narrow it down Right. Yeah, okay. So I would say And this is why it's a two-parter because I have a follow-up to this Yeah, I would say this is gonna be really hard because I really only have two that I order. Okay, okay, so First favorite briers vanilla bean, that's it. Okay. Okay straight up straight up vanilla bean I respect it second favorite tcby White chocolate mousse with raspberries That's okay. That's a good. Yeah, it's a good choice. It's really good. Okay, so let's say you show up So either of those are available. I'm from wisconsin. I grew up in reedsburg. Yep, second culvers in the world Right, right. Okay. And so oh my gosh really good story about culvers real quick So I got time owner owner culvers in reedsburg. He's the I think he was the son-in-law of lee culver whoever owns culvers sure so first one was in sock and He's the son-in-law opens the one in reedsburg Doing really good And he's like, um, I think i'm gonna sell it talking to my dad, you know, my My dad knows everybody and so he's like I think i'm gonna sell it and he's like That's great. What do you want to what do you think you want to do after you sell it? He's like, I just want to open my own taxidermy place Nice that's wild. Yeah, and he did and he kills it and he's so happy Good for him. It's amazing. Good for him. That's cool. That is the best That's a story about a classic wisconsin person. Yeah, right doing what you want to do doing what he wants Yeah So I I would say I've got a lot of favorites From culvers, okay, right there. I have a hard time with the fact that I found out they put egg in frozen custard Right. That's kind of what makes it smooth Which is weird. Yep, but I can get over that. Okay. Okay, so um, I like their lemon ice With raspberries on top. Okay, that's a really good one. Okay, but I I do Like a classic and I never did i'm not a big chocolate guy. I'm not a big Yeah, i'm not a big sundae guy But I really like a classic turtle sundae from culvers and that's probably third. That's good. That's a good choice That's probably third. Yeah, so the reason this is a two-parter is You got your first favorite ice cream Which you would say is the vanilla. Yeah. Yep What is your favorite topping for that and how does that describe you as a person oh my gosh All right Uh vanilla bean. Mm-hmm. I know what mine would be. Yeah, I got it exactly what i'm putting on mine Magic shell Oh, what a what an answer great answer Magic shell a lot better than my answer way better than mine. Yeah, and it is delicious. It is I put that on there Um Letter freeze up. Uh-huh. Okay Um, and I don't know how that how that describes me as a person like, you know, you could say Tough to crack right on the yeah tough on the outside, but i'm not i'm like, yeah I'm not tough. I came down and i'm telling you my life story Yeah, I mean we met like 40 minutes ago. Yep. So a little running when i'm hot a little a little hard when i'm cold Yeah, like I I think I think this is what I would say. Um, I think i'm versatile. How about that? Okay Yeah, you can adapt to any situation. I think i'm versatile. I love it Soft in the container hard outside and delicious if somebody on this farm doesn't buy your machinery you go to the next I sell so much farm equipment. It's crazy so much fun stuff so much fun That's that's awesome. I'm buying myself a john deere hat and then bringing it to a family function Hell, yeah. Hey, this is what I do. This is what I do. This is me now. Yeah You got to add the new holland t-shirt you got it. Yeah. Yeah Pioneer seeds like i'll really get there you go too Yeah, you eat cowboy boots, but like one's kind of jacked up and didn't actually go like your jeans are stuck on the top Of it didn't make it down Yeah, get them dirty. Yeah. Yeah, I love it. I think it's great. Yeah, these boots were not made for walking I love it. Okay, so that's it magic. That's great. Shell's a great answer. Yeah, okay great. I'm glad it's approved All right. I got I got one more on my list Okay, what would your superhero name be? If your powers were based on your most Annoying habit. Let me text my wife real quick What do I do that? Let me get that let me get that habit. Yeah Yeah, I think that when i'm upset or annoyed When i'm upset or annoyed or hungry I Tend to push a little further than I need to push right? Yeah, so Maybe claire's just trying to be nice and she's like, you know just says like You know everybody's been in an argument straw that breaks the camel's back Sure doesn't take much and then you get into an argument and and I would say that I have the ability to speak In a way that is derogatory um And repeatedly derogatory in the same way in different terms, right? And i'm not saying like i'm swearing We have claire and I have a no name calling policy. No swearing, right? We have policies, right? but I will say the same thing In a derogatory way or demeaning kind of tone. It's not what you say. It's how you say it, right? Sure Uh over and over in different words and in different forms And there is nothing more annoying than that and I like to me not just to claire but to me Yeah general. Yeah, like that is just reality. You're annoying. You are the worst. Yeah I hate me So I mean, I guess I guess my superpower Would be the ability to well that's one of two right like I have been redundant. I can't yeah. Yeah, like I can't I can't lift anything Right, and I can't break anything, but I could push a lot of stuff. I'm like the pusher right or Or the pusher I like the name the pusher because it kind of like the publisher. I do like that. Yeah the pusher And or it would be I have the ability to To Create a button and push a button that does something to somebody else And it's just like whatever that I want Yeah, it's the pusher. Yeah, right. So And I got a button and I just go like this your pants light on fire, right? You know something about that the push is right It's awesome. Yeah, heck. Yeah, dude. I love it pusher Um, i'm not sure you're ready for this, but I hope you are. Yeah This one is this is this the one no, no not yet. Um, I got more stories if you guys want stories Oh, this is great. I know we have stories for days. Yeah um, okay, if you had to wear around a Like a warning label On my body. Yeah on my person. Yep. Okay, what would it say? Beware of dog Da wg he's got that dog in him Hey, I respect that I came in real hot with that didn't even need to think about it so funny There's got to be a story there I you know, I know I i'm not a dog. That's the thing like i'm i'm too emotional. I would say i'm uh, I don't think i'm really a dog, but unless I mean you work hard, right? I like the idea of people that work hard and work smart. Yep. Um, if I had to wear a warning um Okay, I think that this I got it, okay, okay, I we can go back it Well, I like beware of dog but that was more of a joke Because i'm not that dog. I ain't got that dog, you know, uh, I would say Will speak if spoken to Okay, otherwise you just stand over there with a smile on your face. Yeah Yeah, like and hey if you say something to me, I mean I got a lot to say. Yeah, you want to hear a story? Like yeah, that's it. Well, hey, we're friends. Yeah But that's a warning too because people a lot of people don't want to be talked to that's true that much. Yeah Yeah, that's a fair point. That's probably it will speak if spoken to yeah, that's a fair point. Yeah, I respect it There's a uh Reasonably fun one that we like to end on I think you're going to get an easy answer to this one So i'll ask i'll ask two questions to end it question number one Would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses? All right. Well, what's the quality what's the quality of a duck and what's the quality well fighting qualities of a duck? And what's the fighting quality of a horse? Well so far i've fought zero ducks and zero horses Well, I mean like think about mascots, right? Ducks can fly They can pack They can shit So I guess organ ducks versus denver broncos. Yeah, I mean like horses. Yeah, what would win in the fight, right horses are Stronger than like big big ass muscles. Yeah, also shit They're big they do that too all over the place. Yeah I think horses are intelligent. Yep Um And they can be ridden, right? So maybe we got horses riding horses situation. I don't know maybe um Okay 100 Duck-sized horses are one Horse-sized duck. Yep, because of the the strength factor I'm gonna probably go with one horse-sized duck. Oh Wow, I didn't see that coming. No first one ever Yeah, one horse-sized duck and the the reason is I feel like if you get one good attack on a duck, which I think you should be able to do. Yep You'd be able to take it out Right. All you have to do is take all you have to do is take out one leg One eyeball or two eyeballs. Yeah, like you just have to get in there and get get one thing Yeah, it's true. It's like it's like the the what's that website, right? Like How many five-year-olds could you kill in a fight right and you have to I did not know Yeah, I like yeah, no, this is this is a I don't know i'll send you the link I don't know what the website's called off the top of my head, but this is a real thing Like and there's a questionnaire and it's like what is your uh fighting ability? What's your weight? What's your body fat index? Right, like it's all this stuff like yeah, have you had any depth man? Have you had any karate training? Do you know how to use a weapon like see but this isn't like it directly This isn't correlate directly because what if like i'm like that show chuck Where i'm like a sleeper agent and I don't know that I have really excellent fight Well, I mean like yeah, I think that's an exception, right? Then obviously you just beat up a bunch of five-year-olds, but it's very how many five-year-olds could you beat up? We went to five-year-olds. No, how many five-year-olds but that's the whole idea of like a hundred horses Mentally, I could beat up a zero Right kicked. Yeah, I mean nobody wants to but like You want to express gotta be done. You want to express your main masculinity, right? Like how many five-year-olds could be so anyway, you fill out this you fill out this whole form And then you click enter and it says you could be the 36 five-year-olds Right like and see that comes And before you got overtaken like that's it's so good So, yeah, I mean like based on my research and in the research i've done beating up five-year-olds Yeah, so based on the knowledge that I have in the experience I have I that's why I would go with one instead of a hundred a hundred's a lot 100 is a lot and are they a little tempered or are they just like walking around eventually? You're gonna have to have a little tempered fighting horse. See I don't need that It's true. I don't do no horses. It's kind of like that that movie Anybody I don't do no I don't do no horses anybody eric barry Did not did not see that coming All right The holy grail. Um, it also is good context to know that annie hates this question. Oh nice Sorry annie But here it comes anyway here it comes anyway Yeah What is your favorite mythological creature and what sound does it make Okay This is really hard for me not to say j-hawk. Yep. Fair point So i'm gonna exclude that For obvious reasons sure sure um It's not it's not like extinct. It's mythological sure so You go down like the pegasus route just sounds like a horse. Yeah You go down like I mean, and then there's a lot of movies that are out there there's a lot of movies that have expressed like what a What a werewolf sounds like and um I mean what kind of what what mythical creatures are we digging from here? What are you what is in the brain of the johnny? I think we've also opened the floodgates up with uh, You can make one up. Yeah, if you want to make one up i'm here for that Mythological could technically be a made-up one at certain aspects. Yeah Yeah, I I think i'm gonna go with one that currently exists um Favorite mythical creature has to be able to fly Um has to be fierce. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm um I know where this is going. Yeah, I'm gonna go dragon. Yeah, right. I knew it freaking dragon. Everybody says dragon everybody Okay. Well, then what sound does a dragon make? Oh, yeah I don't want to do what everybody else does. Is this like an aragon thing where it's just like a dragon just talks I think that's what it's called. Right? Yeah, I mean it's hard because you know what a dragon sounds like. Mm-hmm, right? I do now that 13 people I want the dragon to sound like donkey from shrek. Yeah, like I want the dragon to do that Doesn't the don't yes, they get married. Yeah, they get married um I would know that Could I say like But there's movies about i'm thinking like disney characters mythological creatures. Sure. I'm game with that um But you know all their all their sounds. Yeah I would say here's my here's it's not my favorite But I think in order to spice life up here, which i'm about the spice of life up respectful I'm gonna go with my mythical creature as the penguin In billy madison That yes, that's awesome because it doesn't speak the whole time. It doesn't speak. It just kind of waddles around Leg right like yeah So shit poop So yeah, yeah, it's all right Exactly the wave um, and I I feel like It would be like really well spoken and uh No accent. I think it I think it would just be like really well spoken and calm, right every time that you see You know, it's kind of like doing one of these so it's so it's probably um It's gonna be a giant penguin. Yeah, it'd probably be like a a really calm and kind babysitter some something like Hey billy Hey bill Everything's all right Your mom's gonna be home in a little bit I'll make sure she gives you a kiss Nighty night billy wander down a really strange rabbit hole If you need me I'll be right around the core. I'll be right outside of my igloo Right like whatever like I just I just feel like it would be like very calm very comforting loving You're so chill that's it chill penguin. Yeah. Not I mean and it's not a bad thing if like you identify as a you know, whatever you do for the job That's cool. But like we also want to engage with the other side Yeah, right. Like there's still a person behind that that has You know true happiness in something else like painting or golf or whatever. Yeah, and um And all too often we talk about it.
