Speaker 2I'm not going to talk a lot today . I'm just going to read one verse and it's the chorus of this song , and I just am so grateful for one word in particular in this song . It might be , wow , one of my favorite words in all of the Bible Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all . Surely goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life . And if it wasn't for that word , all I think I would be in a heap of trouble . Isn't that amazing ? There's not . There's not like a microsecond in this life as God's kid that is minus or without his goodness and mercy , um , and that's . That's hard to believe sometimes , in the midst of all the things and the diagnoses and all the disappointments . But it is indeed a promise and we can take it to the bank . And so if you're in the valley of the shadow of death , know that his goodness and mercy didn't go away . It is right there . It is right there . It is right there , and that's just a helpful thing for me to remember .
