Lyn DiCiero speaks to Candice Nannup, a Willman, Ballardong Noongar curator and artist based on Wardandi Boodja. Candice is the curator of the 25th iteration of Noongar Country on show at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery until 20 July. Her emerging curatorial practice is deeply rooted in cultural storytelling, community engagement, and the celebration of Noongar art and identity. With strong support from local Noongar artists, the exhibition carries with it a sense of pride and community spirit.
