We have a very special show for you this week. Why is that? Well because the theme this week is celebrating LIFE. I had a son born this past weekend so today I will play you some classic records that reflect my feelings on my current situation.
We discuss some incidents that were deemed culturally inappropriate as well as play some classic records from the 60’s & 70’s eras that will tickle your fancy and keep you in the groove. We drop the needle on joints from The Chakalackas, Manu Dibango, Aretha Franklin, Earth, Wind & Fire, Al Green, Sly and the Family Stone as well as the the Godfather himself, James Brown.
We time travel back to sample songs by King Curtis, Edwin Starr, Stevie Wonder, The Dramatics, The Isley Brothers, the Temptations, Freddie Scott, Billy Preston and the Spinners just to name a few more.
It’s an upbeat fun mixtape that will have you shakin’ your tail feather from beginning to end. Simply press play and enjoy this weeks culturally inappropriate mixtape.

Live from the heart of the Galil Mountains on 105.3FM, this is more than just a radio show—it’s a sonic journey through time, culture, and sound. Hosted by a native New Yorker who cut his teeth spinning records in the city’s underground scenes of hip hop, reggae, dub, punk, and dancehall. He now has relocated to the mountains of Northern Israel to bring this knowledge of music to everyone in earshot.
We dig deep into the record crates telling the stories behind the music that shaped generations and putting some stank on it in the process. Each episode weaves a tapestry of genres, connecting the past and present like an old school cassette mixtape with special guest appearances from kindred spirits like Uncle Siris’ daughter, Soso, and the Silent Bob of of the DJ world, Mixmaster DJ Milkweed.
