Minisode 6: Persephone's Kiss Craft Cocktail!

Welcome to Minisode #6! Today, our craft topic is Craft Cocktails, and we're going to take you through a Persephone's Kiss. The recipe is below if you want to follow along as we make it and discuss the magical properties of all the ingredients!


Recipe

Ingredients:
2 oz tequila  (rejuvenation)
1.5 oz pomegranate juice (life, death, rebirth, fertility, and abundance)
1 oz orange liqueur (positivity, abundance, and joy)
3/4 oz lime juice (spiritual protection, purification, and promoting peace of mind) 
1/2 oz hot honey syrup*** (love, prosperity, and community; used in spells to attract good fortune and bind things together)

Instructions:
Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Strain into a glass filled with ice, and enjoy!



***Hot Honey Syrup:

½ cup honey
½ cup water
1 pepper habanero, jalapenos, red pepper or 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes, OR use hot honey (protection from evil and negativity, and as a tool for passion, energy, and luck)
Heat all ingredients on the stove on medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
Strain and place into an airtight jar.
Store in fridge for up to two weeks.
