Jessica Read:You keep saying that you are just not ready to charge more, but what if the truth is that you're not actually afraid of charging more? What if you're actually afraid of what it will mean when someone says. No, you're afraid that then no. It's going to confirm the thing that you already fear, and that is that you are not enough, not qualified enough, not valuable enough. So you are shrinking your prices. You are sweetening the offer. You are softening your voice and you are trying to preempt the rejection before it even arrives. And I guarantee you'll be feeling that in your body. Here is the thing that I know. And that is that most or all emotional crashes that you are trying to avoid, you are already living in it to at least some capacity. So welcome to Resource with Jessica Reed. This is the podcast where we help you scale your business from the inside out, fully resourced. My name is Jessica. If you are brand new here. Welcome. If you are returning, welcome back. Today we are going to really get honest about something that is silently dictating your pricing and your strategy and above all else, your confidence. And this is not your business model and it's not your audience. It is your relationship with rejection. And I know this one very intimately. I spent years and years tweaking strategy. And throwing more spaghetti at walls and wanting to put my prices up and then changing it a million times in that awkward in between where your audience needs to adjust to your new level. And what I really needed to do in that time where I was literally searching for more external things to fill an internal gap, was actually regulate my identity because that high ticket pricing, that's not just about your positioning. Absolutely. That plays a part in developing a beautiful, juicy, high ticket offer. But before you can even sit in that energy and attracting the people who are going to actually work with you in that capacity is actually first about emotional congruence and the reason that your body is bracing. Is not because you are wrong or you shouldn't be charging what you wanna charge or you shouldn't be putting your prices up, it's because you never felt safe holding your full power. You know what, I don't think I could've said that to myself even 12 months ago. I put up a re on Instagram yesterday and it was a conversation was it was a night that I was in Bali, and that was the very same night that I was in a pool with my mentor and I'd already had my Mastermind, so I'd already. Started offering higher ticket programs and there was something I really wanted to do in my one-on-one space. I really wanted to pivot into exactly where I was now. And I remember saying to her, I just don't understand, like, why can't I do this? And it was this, asking that question of what is missing here? What am I doing wrong? What don't I understand? Or actually, I can't remember exactly my question, but it was really something more along the lines of. What do people who pay what? I know my worth is work. The people who I want to be working with be people who pay me for those services. What? What do they wanna hear from me? And I realized none of this was actually about them because I was actually in some way asking someone else, you just tell me that my work was valuable. I was asking them to validate that little part of me that was sneaking forward. Again, that was saying. You are not good enough. You are not qualified enough. Who are you to be wanting to charge certain amounts of prices? That part of me was coming back and she was the one leading that conversation. And even as I was saying it, even as I was asking the questions, I felt ridiculous because I knew in my body I knew so deep down that this was not the question. The question was what part of me? Was actually making this decision. What part of me was terrified of being rejected. If I was to put my prices up and say, actually, this is the level that I'm working at, this is the level of result that I know that I can help you with. What part of me was terrified of being rejected? So if you are secretly afraid that raising your prices will actually make people walk away. So let's just circle back here for a second to the fact that it's not actually about the price, it's about what you have linked it to. Because let me tell you something, and this is something that really sat with me. I have, a gift. I, my partner hates it. I have a gift of perception and so, something I'm very good at is being able to bring in very different perceptions into situations and what really helped me. Around high ticket pricing. Is that what is high ticket to one person is not to another. Okay. So this isn't even about the price. This is about what you've linked it to because while someone's investing into a high ticket program, that might be$5,000,$2,000, someone else is investing into their next high ticket stretch of$50,000. And and that's, not to say that either is good. When I'm talking about high ticket pricing, particularly in the holistic high ticket strategy training, I'm really speaking to anybody who wants to start charging more than, say,$2,000 or one and a half to$2,000 and upwards. And as upward as your high ticket means to you if you have that internal block. So it's not just about the price. This is what I really wanna get clear here. Sorry, clear here. Most women that I work with, they aren't undercharging because they are not sure of their value. They do know and they understand that the work that they are doing is having a huge impact. Whether it be something tangible or whether it be intangible, they know that it is hard to put a value on what it is that they do. Most of these women are undercharging because they've actually linked their pricing to their personal worth. Does that sound familiar? That was me. And it's really fascinating when I actually think about money, it's, I find it so fascinating that I'm scared, like we get scared of it. We're scared of saying a number. We are scared of this energetic exchange, and that is fueled by these conversations. Always scared of pay. You're always scared of paying a certain amount for something, investing, potentially losing, and honestly. I just, I'm going way off track here, but I asked chat GPTA couple of months ago, what is the core difference between the rich and wealthy mindset versus the middle class mindset? What is it that they are teaching their children the middle class do not? And that scarcity and fear piece was a huge part of that answer. I highly encourage you, come and chat to me about that, or go and have your own conversation with chat. DBT. So it's coming from the fact that behind it all, we're asking ourselves questions like, if I charge more and then they say, no, it'll mean I'm not good enough. It's not even a question that's a statement. If they say yes, then I have to prove that I'm worth it. So it's never actually been about the number. It has always been about the identity that you are bringing in. So your nervous system is running the show. Surprise. If you've ever been around here before, you will have heard me say that, not your intellect. And if your body is wired to believe that this visibility equals threat, or that receiving money must be earned through over giving, then pricing becomes this battleground for your self worth. And this is what I call emotional incongruence. It's on one hand you're saying, I want high ticket clients. I want to charge more for my services. I want a premium high ticket offer at the very top of my office suite that a handful of clients come into. But on the other you are whispering, I don't think I'm really ready for them, and that energy doesn't match. What you are consciously desiring is not. Backed by your subconscious beliefs and your internal resources, and your audience feels that even if you never say it out loud, even if you never say it out loud to yourself, and I highly, recommend that you start getting really clear and honest with yourself about what this is for you, speak it out loud, speak it to your mentor. Speak it in the mastermind that you are in. Speak it to your business friend. Speak it to someone you understand. I think would be the best disclaimer there. But start speaking it. Start journaling about it. Start getting curious because this is emotional congruence. This is where you go first. Here is the truth that honestly, it cracked everything open for me, and that is that you cannot call your audience into energetic integrity that you haven't yet embodied, and that doesn't mean that you have to have been through the exact level of detail of problem that you are helping your person with, but it does mean that you have to have the same level of emotional congruence and energetic congruence as to what you are asking your people. To invest with. If you are telling yourself that a thousand dollars program is too expensive, but simultaneously expecting other people to invest two to$5,000 in working with you, then that is a mismatch that creates this static in your field and that that's, that can't lie, that energy cannot lie. This is not about forcing yourself to invest beyond your capacity, okay? So please don't take that this way or invest into something that you don't need. Okay? Someone's trying to sell your program and you don't need it. It's okay. It is okay to not need it in that time and place and, to honor your priorities and your capacity, but it is about noticing where your internal story is actually leaking out into your messaging, into your posture, into your strategy. So if you want people to see your work as powerful, you have to start relating to it that way. First, you want them to feel safe investing at a higher level with you. That safety has to be getting your body, and if this feels confronting, it's because it is the version of you who knows that her pricing is clean and powerful and sacred. She is not chasing validation. She is leaning from congruence and you might still be meeting that version of you. So there is a real reason, very real reason that you are still avoiding the sales conversations. So let's name it, let's call this out right now and I'm gonna tell you not'cause you're introverted. Okay, you are avoiding pricing conversations because your body is in part of flight. You're not just being humble. You are actually softening your language to preempt rejection, and you're not just making it more accessible. That is a big one. I think we spoke about that in last week's episode when we were talking about if you believe that your audience can not afford it, you are not just making yourself more accessible, you're actually abandoning yourself here. Because you don't wanna feel like too much and you don't wanna be rejected. And I say this with love because I've done it all. Believe me, I have done it all. But here is what changed everything for me and hundreds of women that I have supported in this space. And that is the moment that I stopped trying to perform my worthiness and I started. Practicing safety. I talk about a nervous system, capacity led business. I talk about a body led business. The moment that I stopped tweaking my pricing page and I started actually regulating the version of me who would send the payment link without spiraling, that was the key difference. Sometimes we can fake it till we make it, but faking it. Faking it till you make it does not actually override your survival. Instincts. And if your body believes that something is an imminent threat to your danger, it's gonna win. It's always gonna win. So this is where this next level, it requires not more proving and definitely not more bonuses, not more one-on-ones to try and make it feel more valuable. And when I say that, I wanna just say that I'm not speaking about that from a lens of. What juicy bonuses can we add into this offer to make it a no brainer? Yes, add experience to my clients. I'm talking about the energy behind adding, okay, this is gonna cost X amount and they're gonna invest$2,000 a month with me, so I better be on all the time. Actually it's more beneficial for your client to have, for you to have boundaries, and it's becoming okay with not adding in those extra layers and extra layers and that is a work in progress too. So what actually shifts this, because I know it's so much easier said than done. This is not just about saying a brand new number on your sales page. It's actually about becoming a woman who feels safe in her body and saving her voice and saving her nervous system to hold that number without that brace for rejection, because you can't just skip to the result. It's in fact the rejection That is such a massive piece of your emotional resilience building. So you become a coach or a healer or mentor or a service provider who charges high ticket or premium pricing. You become that woman by building emotional congruence with what you are challenging. So that means no more coding prices with your shaky voice. And if you are in she holds wealth. I know you've been practicing this. This is one of the exercises in an integration practice. No more overexplaining yourself in the dms. No more adding endless bonuses to compensate for guilt, for charging more and no more holding your breath. Every time someone opens a sales page or an email, or every time you've gotta drop a number into somebody, maybe you sell by Google Doc, however you're selling. We're not holding our breath with that anymore because instead, what happens when you actually start to do this inner work is that your nervous system can hold the power of your offer without collapse, and your prices start to reflect the depth of transformation that you offer and the confidence that you have in that and within yourself. And you feel grounded and confident on sales calls because your worth is no longer on the table. Your, I'm gonna say that again. Your worth is no longer on the table. And then your audience shifts. You begin to attract emotionally ready, financially aligned clients. Marketing becomes simpler because your energy is clear and it is not. Convincing. The most magnetic thing that you can do isn't to lower your prices at a fear or try to make someone happy. It is anchoring. And again, I just wanna say that is different to a very strategic a very strategic coupon code that is used in a launch very different. Again, everything comes down to the energy behind it. So this is about anchoring your belief into the value of what you offer. And you are no longer trying to prove that you are worth it. You are simply becoming a woman whose prices matches the energy of her impact. And that shift is exactly what we were make inside of the holistic high ticket strategy. It is safe to want to be paid. For the work that you are doing, that is okay. There is absolutely nothing to be guilty about in that space. So when we do this work, it is not about just being louder, selling harder, or faking it until you make it. This is about leading from a place where you no longer, you need to feel validated in order to feel valuable. So again, if you are tired of walking away from sales conversations, feeling like you.
