Sharing our survivor stories from Breast cancer gives us a voice in a voiceless system and helps equip others diagnosed how to fight the Battle Ahead. As we share we help others know how to fight, how to find hope, and how to advocate for themselves along the way. It helps you know that you can fight and do hard things too! As a survivor I found the health system left me feeling unheard, unseen, and dismissed. I turned to the internet to find the answers I didn't get from my health team. I found very little outside from medical facilities. This led me on the journey to give back and provide what I was searching for. What better way to know how to fight than to hear from others warriors who fought and won! It will look different for each person facing Breast Cancer, but you will not be alone. Emily Faced Breast cancer and walked away a warrior with a Heart for helping others navigate their journeys. This warrior Story is simply Inspiring! Emily faced big decisions and she chose to step out and be a part of the change! Her experience led her to open the Boobie Boutique in Pensacola and online at The Boobie Boutique LLC, Unfortunately the economy is hard and since filming this episode she has closed her store front. But, Great news! She is not done helping other cancer patients. She now has a more personal approach. By appointment only she can fit you for a bra after mastectomy and also get you in the most esthetic Wig out there. Her heart is so pure and she wants to love on all the ladies diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her Warmth and love is evident as she puts her passion to good use!
