PEST PROSpectives

Many Bugs Hibernate in Winter (Possibly in your Home)

You might thing bugs die off when winter temperatures set in - then repopulate when it warms up in spring.

They generally do not do what many of us do - and hop the next flight to Boca for the winter. But, they do what amounts to the equivalent for them: Burrow into a (your) nice warm house and take a long winter's nap.

Associate Certified Entomologist Amber Byars sheds some light on how these squatters get comfy - then wake up just in time for spring.
