Well, hello, you glitter covered alien. In today's full episode, I talked about non-duality and how we can use our spiritual gifts to increase our profits, to grow our business, and to do our life's work in a way that feels really good. In today's bonus episode, I'm going to help you to use your spiritual sensitivities to do just that, to increase your profits, to grow your business, to grow your your life's work, your impact, your reach, and also to do it in a way that really feels joyful and harmonious and balanced. The first pointer that I'm going to give you in today's bonus episode is to allow all things, sensations, and emotions. I had to learn this the hard way, but I believe that part of the reason that I've been able to have some modicum of success on the internet is because I'm really good at allowing all sensations and emotions. This is a little bit, by the way, I kind of was hesitating there because I'm like, should I share this or not? I'm going to go ahead and share this. In my childhood, there was a great deal of trauma in my childhood. Surprise, surprise, that's like a part another part of the human experiences that we all have our goody bags of trauma. And I had a lot of trauma in my childhood. And I had this basically this childhood that was laced with lots and lots and lots of fear. All of this fear, all of this, you know, the kind of unsavory things that happened to me in my childhood, just to give you an idea on the when you when you go to a therapist, they have a little checklist of the adverse childhood experiences. And I basically checked all those boxes shy of one. There was one that I didn't check. So I'm pretty high on the adverse childhood experiences situation. But um, what that gave me was it gave me this um incredible ability to uh basically be comfortable with fear. Okay. And so because I grew up in a household that was laced with all kinds of fear, I think part of that, part of that upbringing really helped me to have a spiritual sensitivity and an ability to kind of tap into my inner world in a way that I wouldn't have probably been able to tap into it if I had a different kind of childhood. And so with that with that adverse kind of childhood experience list, the goodie bag that I had when I was growing up, all that fear and all that discomfort and all that trauma and all that stuff, um, it did manifest for me in clinical depression and anxiety for the majority of my uh adulthood until my spiritual awakening. But in my spiritual awakening, I saw that part of the way that I was able to build my business was through the fact that I had an acceptance of fear. I have always had a pretty easy time of when I'm experiencing fear, I'm able to harness that fear and use it for something creative and generative. Um, and I've gotten way better at this since my awakening, but I just wanted to offer this. For this first step, if you allow all things, all sensations, all emotions to happen without resisting them, without wanting them to be different, without trying to fight with them, without trying to fix them, without pathologizing them, when sensations arise, if you open your arms fully and totally to those sensations, that is one of the elemental skills of online business. Because there's a lot of sensations that happen when we're building a business, there's lots of fear in there. There's lots of self-doubt, there's lots of resistance, there's lots of inner tightening, you know, you get sensations happening in your diaphragm. When you go to push the upload button, there's going to be sensations. So if you allow those sensations, if you allow them, and I mean in a very real way, when you are embarking on a task and it feels very frustrating and you're feeling some rage bubbling up, first of all, you might want to hire help, and I'll talk about that later. But if you're doing some some kind of a tech situation and you really hate the tech and it's making you feel rage inside, can you allow that rage to be there? Meaning when there's a sensation arising in your diaphragm or in your belly, a sensation of frustration, resistance, twisting, knots in your throat, whatever. If you can allow that to be happening, literally without doing anything. You don't have to touch it, you don't have to get involved in it, you don't have to put your hands in it, you just sit there with it, it's fine, and you let it be there. I hope you can see how that already gives you like five steps ahead in the game. If we're talking, if we're talking about this in a game, you're five steps ahead because when fear is allowed to be here and you're filming a video and you're, you know, you're feeling fear about pushing the upload button, you're allowing the fear to be there, you push the little upload button, the fear eventually passes through, and it's fine. You survived. Do you see how that's a superpower? Frustration bubbles up and it's allowed to be here. Business owners all all throughout time have experienced fear, doubt, frustration, anger, self-doubt, all of that in a carousel of repeating patterns. Do you know? But the but the business owner who is profitable and whose business is consistently growing, those business owners have what's called equanimity. Equanimity is the ability to see what's happening within ourselves and be okay with what's happening in ourselves and be okay with the waves of life. As the storms of life pass through as they inevitably will, can you allow those storms to be there? Can you allow for the beginning phases of your business or the middle phases of your business where there's some uncertainty? Can you allow for posting onto YouTube and seeing your video get 10 views and being okay with that? Can you allow that? Can you allow those feelings to bubble up and pass through and let them go? Can you allow yourself to post an offer on the internet and have nobody buy it and sit with those feelings, whatever feelings may arise, and then move on to the next offer and say, let's try again. And that's fine that nobody bought last week. Let's try a new offer and see what sensations arise there and allow it all to be here. I hope you can see how that's a superpower. Tip number two is to put thoughts in their right place. I can't even tell you how good it felt for me when I realized that I had thoughts and that they were not me. And so, those of us in the kind of spiritually sensitive, highly sensitive, empathic kind of, if that's your nature, um, chances are you're really good at feeling into other people's stuff, feeling into your own stuff. But I, and that was me for a long time, but you might not realize sometimes, because of the nature of the mind, you might not realize that you're stuck in thoughts. Even the, even the best of the best meditators, even the best of the best spiritual practitioners, even those of us who have on the who have been on the path for a really long time, some of us can get trapped in thoughts. So I was always very sensitive. I was always very empathic. I was always on some kind of a path, but I didn't even realize that I was in a prison of my own thoughts until I was actually aware of my thoughts. And we want to just basically put thoughts and thinking in their right place. One of the biggest traps of the human experience is getting stuck in a prison of thoughts and beliefs and mind chatter and mind structures and mental constructs and ideologies and just all these thoughts. The thinking process for me serves as a way for me to attain better peace, do more right action in the world, joy, profits, all things good. And when we don't direct our minds towards those things, and we just take thoughts for granted and we take every thought that's going on in our head and we just believe it and participate in it, and we're stuck in thought matter, it's really detrimental to our physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, relational health. Thoughts left unchecked and just taken for granted and believed and assumed as a lived experience, I believe, are one of the most poisonous parts of the human experience. It's the ultimate quote unquote sin, is to just live in your thoughts and think your thoughts are you. So thoughts put into their right place. Don't believe a word I say. I want you to practice this. Try it out. Watch what's going on in your head. Watch what's going on in your head. Watch what your thoughts are doing. Most of the thoughts happening in the minds of most human beings, it's very unproductive, very toxic, very poisonous, very unpleasant. That's the nature of the human mind because part of our nature is survival. So we've got this lizard brain that wants to keep us safe and it's looking through a negative bias, and the thought matter happening for most people, it's just not helpful. So use your thoughts in the right place. Put your thoughts in the right place. You're gonna start using your mind in service to you, not the other way around. The other way around being the way that most people live because they don't know there's another option. I was one of those people for most of my adult life until I had my awakening, was just being in service to the mind. And when we're using our lives in service to the thoughts that that are happening in our mind, we're recurringly creating the same exact things over and over again. We're living from these patterns of fear. We're living from the patterns of the small self. We're living from the patterns of the small I, the little I, the one that that has been imposed upon us from the time that we were born to the time that we are sitting here now listening to this podcast. There's all these beliefs and all these ideologies and mental constructs and all this thought matter. And it's going on all the time. So I'm not telling you to not think thoughts. I'm telling you thoughts are going to be there. That's the nature of the human experience. But the less that you engage in those thoughts and take them for granted and believe every word that's going on in your mind, the more free you become, the more profits you'll make, the more action you'll be taking in the world by default most of the time. And the more you'll be in flow with the right action. Your life will unfold in a beautiful, effortless pattern. Your business will unfold in a beautiful, effortless pattern when you're not getting your hands in the murky waters of the mind. When you're stop touching it, as Michael Singer says, he says, stop touching it. And I agree with that. Stop wrestling with the thoughts. Put them in the right place. So here's how I use my thoughts. Every morning I do a page. I love the writing process. The page is one way for me to discipline my mind to be in service of me. It's also another way for me to kind of go splunking in my consciousness and see what's going on up there. Keeping my mind clear, keeping my mind focused. That's what pen to paper really is for. So I write a page every day that helps my profits also, helps me to be an effective business owner and helps me to be an effective creator here. And so the one page is a nice practice. It helps you to witness your thoughts. Another thing I do is I meditate on a daily basis. And I'm also getting into the witness consciousness throughout my day. The less that you engage with your thoughts, meaning the less you believe your thoughts, the more that you witness your thoughts, the more quiet your mind tends to become. Over the last 10 years, uh, I didn't realize how noisy my mind was until I had my awakening. I was, I was shifted from it was a centimeter, a hair's breadth shift into witnessing my thoughts. In that experience, now I'm able to witness my thoughts. And I've had many hours of every day in a peaceful state where I don't really think all that much. There's not all that much going on in my head. And I didn't realize how busy my mind was until I stopped believing every thought that I had. And when we step into that witness consciousness, it just tends to happen that the mind is more peaceful. And a peaceful mind is a productive mind because a peaceful mind leads us to greater relaxation, greater, greater health, greater peace, greater clarity. And the right action comes from that peaceful mind, as in you're moving from inspiration instead of the thought matter. And whatever thought matter you do have tends to be a lot more inspired when you're not believing every thought that you think. So thoughts always in the right place. The next pointer I wanted to give you is to release all boulders. So sometimes, in this number three tip, sometimes, even when you are fully on board, even if you're listening to this episode, you're probably fully online. You understand that you're a spirit having a spiritual experience. You also understand that you have work to do that's very important to you in this life. You also understand that the body, mind, and spirit are all one. And you understand oneness, you understand unity, and you're probably living most of your day in a state of peace or presence or what have you. And yet there's many times where we have blind spots that we're not able to see. That happens to me still because I'm still a human. I still have a personality structure. And there's these things that I'm calling boulders. Boulders are our blind spots. These are thoughts that and beliefs that are so big and so all-encompassing that we don't even realize we're carrying them along. And that they make our life very heavy, and they make our profits not as good as they could be, and they make our life's work a little bit more of a struggle than it needs to be. So a boulder would be something like this. Let's say an issue comes up in your business. Let's say an issue comes up just in general in your life. Um, it creates this thought pattern. Maybe, for instance, your sales are low. Maybe, for instance, you did a product launch and nobody bought it, and a thought might get in there something like, nobody wants it. And then you start creating this kind of energetic engagement with that thought. Nobody wants it, and it creates this constricted feeling in your body. Nobody wants it. I don't know what's wrong with it. And this thought that was planted in your mind as a seed of doubt, it now becomes a forest. And before long, that forest becomes a mountain, and before long that mountain becomes a boulder, and you don't even realize it's been three weeks and you're carrying this boulder around every day with this kind of giant monolithic boulder of a thought, belief, energetic experience. I'm not good enough. This work isn't good enough. Uh something like that, you know, a problem that you're continually holding on to. So are there any boulders you're holding on to in this moment? Here's how you can spot a boulder. A boulder is any thought that you're constantly having, like a dog chewing on a bone, that is causing you unpleasant feelings in your body. That's a boulder. A boulder is a thought that is causing an unpleasant feeling or sensation or emotion inside of your body, and it's happening over and over again, and it's become heavy. It's become like a fixture in your life. There is never a time when a boulder is productive. Now, some people might want to argue for their limitations and their belief systems and their unpleasant feelings. And I've had this conversation with a couple clients throughout the years where they're like, Well, isn't there a time when the thoughts are valid? I don't believe that there is ever a time when it's appropriate to allow boulder to be hanging around, weighing you down, impeding on your peace and your joy and your freedom in this moment. I believe that 100% of boulders are pointless, fruitless, unnecessary suffering in the human experience. I believe that every time that we're having a boulder, there's nothing wrong with it. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. What I'm telling you here is you 100% always have an option to release that boulder. Okay. So just keep that in mind. If there's ever an experience in your business or in your life where there's a recurring theme or pattern, there's nothing wrong with you feeling certain emotions. Once again, going back to number one, we allow the emotions. But number two and number three, point two, put the thoughts in the right place, release all boulders. Get outside and do something fun. Release the thinking process. Go to the pool. There's there's a beautiful springs here in Austin called Barton Springs, where it's like a majestic place where if my boulders are ever, if I ever get a boulder, like a dog chewing on a bone, I say, time to go swimming. I set the thought aside. I release the situation and I go for a nice swim and I get into real life. I get into this present moment. And 100% of the time, the boulders will dissolve, but we have to let go of them voluntarily. It's a choice, it's a choosing. You must choose to let go of the boulder. This is not spiritual bypassing. This is taking responsibility for one's state, for your inner world, for what's going on in there. It's actually the opposite of spiritual bypassing. It's when you're having a recurring thought that is not serving you, that is manifesting in intense anxiety, waking up in the middle of the night, three in the morning. There's nothing you can do about it at that point. There's no reason to be indulging in this thought. Let's let go of it. And let's also, to give you a practical step here, outside of going outside and enjoying your human experience, you can also flip it to something positive and ask a better question. So, with steps two and three, if we're talking about putting thoughts in the right place, releasing all boulders, being in the oneness, being in the truth, being in the wholeness, we can harness the power of using your divine will, the one and only thing we actually do have, aside from your eternal nature, your divine will, your power of intention, we can use that power of intention and divine will to use the mind in service of your experience here on this human, on this human earth realm. And we can use questions. So if your mind wants to think about a problem in your business and say, oh my God, the sales aren't coming in, I'm not getting enough clients, I'm not building the business enough. I, my YouTube channel only has 10 views and all this stuff. What about if we take that mind shatter and we give it a different bone to chew? And we say, okay, I see the boulder. This is not pleasant, my mind's off on a tangent. Let's ask a better question. What can I do that will make this whole thing completely different? What are five simple steps that I could do today to change the whole thing around? What's one thing I could do that I know for sure will impact my entire life and business today? What's one simple step? The Divine Beloved is working in concert with you, going back to the whole concept of today's episode: the oneness, the truth, the divinity, that you are one with that creator, with the love, with God, with truth, with whatever you want to call it, peace, it will always provide the answers for you. But it can't provide the answers to you if you are voluntarily holding on to the boulders that are not serving you. So that's one trick you can do. If there's a boulder and it's not letting up and you can't seem to let it go, we're gonna we're gonna switch it up on the ego and say, okay, fine. How about we chew on the bone in a different way? Here's a different question. Going to prompt number four, pointer number four. This isn't a prompt, it's a pointer. Number four is right action. Right action is one of the most divine practices that we can experience in this human realm. Right action being taking the guided actions that you've been put here to do. That doesn't, I don't mean that to sound grandiose, because I believe that all of us have a divine place in this experience, and all of us are special and none of us are special. But I do believe that right action, that right action is part of this experience so that you can experience your magnificence in all of its glory, and others can as well. So you already know that you're an eternal being. You know that you're gifted, you know you have all these tools, whatever your business might be. And right action is a way for the divine beloved to use you in this experience and the oneness and the wholeness, so that others can also experience you, and you can experience you, and you can experience the divine beloved, you can experience the eternal nature, you can experience the compounding effect of love and action. And so, what I mean here to speak in practical terms is every day it's time to get into some kind of action. And in practical grounded business talk, it means getting out there and posting some YouTube videos that point to a really good offer. An offering is another part of your business that we can actually take right action. And what can I offer today? What can I offer for free? What can I offer for sale? What can I offer today? Your offerings are a really important part of right action. And the Divine Beloved rejoices you and you're taking right action. You're putting your offerings out into the world and growing your business. That right action, when you let go of thoughts and you let go of the boulders, what's left over is this incredible energy called Shakti. I like to call it Shakti. That Shakti moves through you and you don't have to wonder what's the next best step. It happens organically. You're moved by the energy. I hope you can see how when you allow, step number one, allowing all that is to be here, sensations, emotions without suppressing them. Number two, putting thoughts in the right place instead of believing every thought that goes on in your head. Step three, releasing all those boulders that do not serve you. Now you're lightened up. And what you've done there with all these steps thus far as you have allowed the guys are shaky that you've been given by design. That is your birthright. You've got tons of energy flowing through you. And you'll experience that to the fullest extent when you let go of um all of the things blocking it. And so then you take right action. So this involves tying all of the po the past three steps with this one pointer. Right action does not involve a lot of thinking. Right action is about right action. There's not a whole lot of thinking going on when I'm in the creative process. There's not a whole lot of thinking going on, truth be told, when most of us are in the creative process. The mind is really not in that thinking mode so much as a creative mode. And for those of you listening who have been in flow, you understand you're not really thinking about much. You're just doing, taking action. It's flowing through you. Okay. So right action means you're going to let go of thoughts and you're going to get into action. The more that you do this, the more the Shakti flows. And then pointer number five is to rejoice in the human experience. That means that there's going to be uncertainty. There's going to be messiness, what the ego perceives as messiness. It's not going to be as clear as it's not meant to be, by the way, a clear linear path. There is no such thing as a clear linear path in the human experience. It's just not meant to be that way. It would be like going to a movie theater and knowing exactly all the things that are going to happen. That's not, I don't believe that's what we're put here to experience. We're not meant to know every single thing that's going to happen to us in advance. And so that's part of the human experience. So you're not really meant to know, is this offer going to work or not? Is this a business move going to work or not? Is this video going to get a lot of views or not? Who's going to come to my event? Who's going to buy my stuff? Am I going to be a millionaire this year or next year or three years down the line or whatever? We can plan for that stuff. We can absolutely point our intention and our, you know, our goals and all of that stuff. We can absolutely reach for the stars and you will hit the moon, but most of the time it's not going to look exactly the way you wanted it to look. It might, most of the time, it might look even better. It might look pretty darn close, but a little bit different. It might be a completely different thing. If I can just share really quickly with you, my human experience has unfolded in a way that I could never have anticipated. When I got my autoimmune issues in 2015, I had no idea that it would be a path that put me onto a whole different trajectory. I had no idea that that little autoimmune hiccup, that health crisis that I was experiencing was going to be one of the greatest gifts of my life. I had no idea that I wouldn't really care so much by the time that I was 40. I just turned 40. And I always figured, oh my God, I'm going to, I'm going to, I had an idea of what my life was going to be like. I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that. In my early 20s, I had something written down in one of my notebooks that was like, you know, you're going to walk the red carpet. When I was like 19 or 21, 19, 20, 21, I had written down, walk the red carpet. I have no idea what, like, you know, you just assume you know what's best for you. I have no interest in walking down a red carpet today. And I haven't in many, many years. But um, what I'm pointing to here is there's many times that it's going to look even better than you could have ever imagined. So um rejoice in the human experience. Rejoice in what unfolds. Rejoice in when it doesn't look exactly the way that you thought it was going to look, that's okay. When it doesn't work out exactly the thought the way you thought it was going to work out, that's okay because something even better is on the way. But it it's just, it makes a whole lot more sense, doesn't it? To as you're on the path, walking up the proverbial mountaintop. Wouldn't it make sense to just rejoice in, oh, look at that. There's a beautiful bird. Oh, look at that. There's a storm coming in. Let me put my raincoat on. Oh, look at that. There's a tiny little, there's a tiny little hurricane down the way. I can see it coming. This is rather scary. Let me go ahead and take shelter. I didn't anticipate that I was going to spend three weeks in a shelter, but let me go ahead and do that. And then somebody else comes along and you make a friend, and then a magical unicorn stumbles upon the path, and it's like, oh my God. And then there's a whole journey unfolding where all of a sudden there's magical horses and a yellow brick road and a fairy godmother or two. And the journey looks completely different from what you thought it was going to look. But I believe that when you focus your mind on the right starting point, meaning that oneness, that eternal nature that you are, that intention that you're going to do your life's work and bring out all that you can out of your soul, the heaven part of you that is the truth, into this lived experience. When you're bringing heaven on earth in your own unique way, heaven is reflected back to you. And it's not so much about the details of that. You know, there's nothing wrong with those preferences and details. If you want to have a mansion, go for it. Write that down in your in your notebook without a doubt. But also open to there's probably something even better and rejoicing in all of it, rejoicing in the messiness, the perfection, the beauty, the divinity, the growth, the expansion, the evolution, the magnificence that you are as you're experiencing yourself unfolding in real time in front of your very own eyes. What more could you want from this life? What more could you want from this life? And so I leave you with a quick devotional, uh, a quick incantation. May you be peaceful. May you do your life's work in this world, and may your divine work ripple into eternity forever and ever, bringing heaven to this plane and to all who may encounter your energetic waves throughout eternity. And so it is. And so it is, and so it is. Thank you so much for being with me today, and I'll see you in the next episode.
