Well, hello there, you glitter covered alien. In today's episode, I'm going to help you to create things that you really love, videos you're proud of, emails you're in love with that you're really proud of that you send to all your email subscribers, and you're like, yes, you hit the send button and it's like smash, hit, slam, dunk. I'm gonna help you to create things that every time you create them, you're in love with them. The key here with all of this online business stuff and with all of our life work life's work in general, it's actually a process of creating things that you're in love with. Not things that you're hoping will work, not things that you're hoping will make a hit, not things you're hoping will get a bunch of views. It's actually creating things that you wish were out in the world. Like genuinely. Genuinely. Like if you can listen back to an episode that you posted on your YouTube channel and say, oh my God, I'm so proud of this. I love it so much. That right there, I believe this is my sneaky little theory. This is my tinfoil hat theory. I believe that is the divine beloved giving you feedback through your own body. I believe that that's that part of the divine beloved that's waiting so badly to have that itch scratched of you experiencing your genius out in the world. So we've got all this beautiful genius within us, and many people are kind of suppressing that genius and creating things, or trying to create things rather, that maybe please the algorithm or please the audience or get it right or make the money and all that stuff. But all of those things are a direct result of you following your genius, you following that inner hunch, you following the creative flow and doing the things that you want to be doing that you wish were out in the world, saying the thing that nobody's saying that you wish other people would say. Part of the reason I'm teaching online business, part of the reason I'm teaching the way that I'm teaching it, is because I have yet to hear a quote-unquote YouTube expert talking about YouTube from the space of energetics, from the space of heart-led creativity, from the space of speaking authentically on a camera with presence. And I was like, man, I wish somebody would say the damn thing. And so you have a whole host of genius underneath, just barely under the surface, that is waiting to be birthed out into the world. There, there are things that you really want to be saying that you haven't said yet because you're a little nervous. How's this gonna land? You're a little nervous. Will I sound like a weirdo? You're also a little nervous. Am I supposed to be saying these things? Right? Does that sound familiar? Should I be the one talking about this? For instance, there's a glitter-covered alien in my accelerator right now who is a formally trained therapist. There's actually a couple of formally trained therapists, and many of them have this have the similar through line where they're wanting to say something to the effect of mental health is not a thing. There's actually a lot of other things happening. There's a there's a deeper aspect to all of it. And another way to say this is what is the hill you would die on? I ask that to my clients on a regular basis, what's the hill you would die on? I would die on the hill that Instagram is not a great way for beautiful, genius, glitter-covered aliens like you to grow your business because it doesn't give your customers an adequate sample of your genius. That's just an example of a hill that I would personally die on. So, how do you create great things in the world that you're obsessed with? In practical terms, you get you have to get quiet, you have to sit down, you get quiet with yourself, and you actually have to listen deeply to what do you believe? What is the deepest aspects here? What is your work trying to tell you? Because we're informed by our work. You know, the work is working on us always. That's something I'm sure you've heard, but there's something deep in there when you get into the deep down parts of your work. What's trying to come out and through you? What wants to be out there? How do you know this isn't conceptual? These are the things that you really want to talk about. The things that you know with a capital K, you know will make the biggest difference in the world. And maybe not make the biggest difference in the world, but really will make the biggest difference in your own life. The things that have made the biggest difference in your own life. You know, don't tap dance around the thing. The temptation nowadays, especially, is to tap dance around our solutions and try to figure out how to pretzel ourselves into a way that will please the algorithm. The algorithm is not your boss. You are the boss of the algorithm. So you influence the algorithm. By the way, the algorithm is a whole other topic that the use of that word, it's been so misused, but you are the boss of the algorithm. You being that eternal aspect of you, those deep insights that you have, those deep genius gems inside of your body, inside of your mind, inside of your genius that came with you. You came with it. You were born with these gems. There's not some shortage of them, they're eternal. You've got thousands of gems in there waiting to be born out into the world. So you sit down quietly and you ignore the ignore the algorithm. Don't worry about what the algorithm would want. Don't worry about what would be the quote unquote right thing for you to create. You're gonna actually sit down and say, What do I want to bring out into the world? What would be very helpful to me? You know, what would really satisfy this hunger I have to create. All of us have a hunger to create. That's just part of the human experience. That's something everybody will experience. Whatever it is you might be creating, I'm not talking about necessarily a watercolor painting or whatever, but every single day humans are called to create something. And those who listen to this podcast, your you, dear listener, are called in a more direct way to create something of substance in terms of your emails, in terms of your business, in terms of your offerings, in terms of your YouTube videos. So you have this hunger to create. And part of that creative process is letting go of trying to be perfect. We're not trying to be perfect here. So you can totally relinquish the desire, or not the desire, you can totally relinquish the expectation to be perfect. Know that you're gonna have a desire there for it to be so much better than whatever it is you're gonna create. That's part of the experience, too. So you're gonna have this desire to create, and there's a part of the creative process where you're going to just surrender to that genius part working through you. And it's not you because you're human, it's not gonna be perfect. That's part of the human experience. So none of it's gonna be perfect, but what we're aiming for is the thing coming from your actual voice, not the voice of the algorithm. And it's impossible to for it to come from your actual voice, from your deepest aspects, from your soul, if you're not deeply connected with yourself on a regular basis and really giving yourself lots of space to really explore what it is that you believe, what it is that you are thinking about, what it is you have to offer. Now, this is why, just as an aside, um getting very honest with you, this is why I don't watch television, this is why I don't have a TV. This is part of the reason why I lock my phone away by like four or five PM, and why I use the Freedom app and why I'm I I'm not sponsored, not affiliated, but why I use the mindsight box, why I use all of these things and why I'm living a very monastic kind of inner state is because I like lots of space. That's how I've gotten 16 years of online business experience because to be a leader and a teacher in this world, it does require a great deal of space and quiet and peace. And if you don't carve out the space to really figure out what you believe about your work, what you're thinking about your work, it's almost impossible for you to come up with, not come up with, but to connect with those fresh, unique, inspired ideas. And those ideas are not something you're doing, they're little gems, like I said, that you were born with that were given to you by the divine beloved. They're given to you all the time. It's an infinite sea of little gems. You can't hear them, you're not gonna be able to access them without that space. So you get quiet on a regular basis. I always carry a notebook with me. You're gonna write your ideas down, and some of them might really feel inspired, and some of them might not feel all that good. And then the part that a lot of people kind of miss is massive mediocre action, meaning then you get the camera out and you film something and then you edit it, and or you write the email, and or you record the podcast, and you keep doing that over and over again. Now, uh, if you've ever seen a hose turn on in a garden, there's initially some murky kind of water that comes out, and that's very normal during the creative process. So it's it comes in cycles, but there's many times where you might feel a little bit rusty, you might have to get through a couple rough drafts, a couple videos that don't do all that well, and then you finally reach that clarity point and you're able to access that fresh water, that that well of truly inspired, beautiful work. And all this stuff is not just for your business and your profits. This is actually the air we breathe as humans. We need to orient ourselves within this universe. And for me personally, the most powerful way that I orient in this universe is by anchoring into myself and my inner world and by anchoring myself into that creative process on a daily basis so that I actually understand what's going on within myself. It's how I synthesize, it's how I kind of figure things out, it's how I survive in this world, how I've survived, you know, 40 years on this planet is by really understanding myself and knowing myself and connecting with my work and orienting myself in this time and space realm. Here's why that's very important. It's very important to orient yourself with your life's work, with the creative process, with a daily connection to what's going on in here. Because when you do that, what you find is there's a genius in there. And the genius isn't you. I mean, you are a genius, but there's a part of each human being that is infinite, that is eternal, that is the divine beloved. So ultimately, when we're creating from that spaciousness, when we're taking action and creating stuff and putting it out into the world, that process of tapping into your eternal nature and getting that creative spark connected with your mind, with your body, and then taking action, bringing it out into the world. That's the most spiritual practice that we as human beings can participate in, I believe. And you find that you're a genius and your personality structure, it's totally separate. And all the patterns that you have are totally separate, all the habits you have are totally separate from that infinite well of genius you have in there. And when you tap into that infinite well of genius, you actually find that wow, I am actually a powerful, capable, untouchable being. It is the most powerful confidence builder you could ever participate in. There's nothing that will build your confidence more than having a creative practice, getting the work done, even if it's not quote unquote good by your personality structure or your ego standards. Just doing your best to connect with that creative genius and bring that out into the world to the best of your ability, brick by brick, project by project, little thing by little thing, this beautiful mosaic starts to emerge that is your beautiful, eternal nature seen before your very eyes as a contribution to the collective. It's the most magnificent poem, you know. We're all walking poems. And sometimes a poem doesn't really make all that much sense at first listen, at first read. You're kind of stumbling through a poem word by word, bit by bit. And then by the end of the poem, you're just your heart is wide open and you're, you know, just wow, in total awe. So life is like that, and your process is like that, and your work is like that. So to succinctly kind of wrap up today's episode, I want to just encourage you to develop your creative practice as your kind of survival mechanism, not survival mechanism, but your thriving mechanism. This isn't a way for us to survive in the world. This is a way for us to really truly thrive in the world. And I believe we've got two options here. We can be part of the insane world in that we're kind of doing things to please the world, or we take the insane action. It does look very insane from the outside, and we accept the fact that we're gonna look maybe a little bit insane to others by doing this unbeaten path situation and actually really anchor into the wild ride of creating and thriving. The first option is that survival mode. Survival mode to me is placating the world outside. Thriving mode is connecting with what's in turn, what's eternal within me and bringing that out into the world. That's how I thrive in the world. And to me, just in my personal experience, there's either one or the other. You're you're doing either one or the other. And for me, the commitment, the devotion to the work as a process, as a journey, as a way of life, not only does it help us to financially thrive and build a business that we love, it also helps us to be that which we truly are. The eternal alien that you are, the eternal divine beloved, the spark of magic, born into a body. Can you believe it? Can you believe we're here? Can you believe you and I are together right now in this moment, sharing this moment in time, and we're able to create whatever it is we'd like to create that is truly inspired? Can you believe that you have this gifts, this set of gifts and talents that are unique to you with only your unique voice that people will hear and need to hear it from your unique voice and your unique sound and your unique experiences has built this mosaic of man, magic, magic. So get out there and really show your heart to the world and create things that you you're really proud of, that you really love. Thank you so much for your time today.
