#19 The Prophetic Landscape: A Modern Perspective
In this episode, I explore the concept of prophecy, particularly in relation to biblical teachings and contemporary events. I discuss seven segments of prophecy that I believes are unfolding in today's world, including global conflict, natural disasters, technological advancements, the restoration of Israel, moral decline, economic challenges, and the rise of false prophets. Each segment is supported by biblical references and current events, emphasizing the urgency for believers to take their faith seriously and engage in spreading the gospel.
Takeaways:
- Prophecy can be foretold without being a prophet.
- The rise of global conflict aligns with biblical prophecies.
- Natural disasters are increasing in frequency and severity.
- Technological advancements allow for global awareness of events.
- The establishment of Israel in 1948 fulfills biblical prophecy.
- Moral decline is evident in contemporary society.
- Economic instability reflects biblical warnings of scarcity.
- False prophets and deceptive teachings are on the rise.

Hey, what's going on guys? Welcome back. So this episode here is really inspired by conversation Tim Reed and I had, and that was episode 18. So if you get a chance, go ahead and take a listen. It has just extremely valuable information. And what I'm really going to dive into is the idea of prophecy.
In episode 18, Tim Reed stated that the prophets ended with John the Baptist, which is biblical. So you can back it up with scripture. So the prophets did in fact end with John the Baptist, but that doesn't mean that prophecy doesn't exist. So I believe that that prophecy can foretold. You don't have to be a prophet.
to prophesy, if that makes sense. With that being said, this episode is going shine light on the prophecies that have come true, either historically or are unveiling themselves in real time. So I'm going to break this down into seven segments, starting with the very first one.
This is the rise of global conflict and war. So I'm going to give biblical reference and contemporary events for each segment. So again, the rise of global conflict and war. The biblical reference, Matthew 24, six to seven. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Nation will rise against nation.
and kingdom against kingdom. What does contemporary events tell us? So number one, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Russia's invasion in 2022 has been viewed by some as a fulfillment of prophecies concerning wars and rumors of wars. Number two, tensions in the Middle East.
especially involving Iran and Israel, are also cited as signs of escalating conflicts leading up to the end times.
So I realize that some may say that this is just something that Christians say, right? Anytime there's a war or there's a frequency of war and battle, I understand that wars and battles have occurred throughout history, but the Bible also describes the end times being like birth pains that a woman endures during birth.
So yes, wars and battles have occurred throughout history, but keep in mind that what we're witnessing today with these wars in the Middle East, the Ukraine, is that wars like these are happening more frequently. And that's why it's akin to labor contractions during birth. So just take note of the frequency that these wars and battles are occurring.
And that is more of an indication that that we are in the end times.
Let's go to segment number two, natural disasters and environmental turmoil. speaking, I want to pull from Luke 21 chapter 11. will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
Revelation 16 12, the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates and its water dried up.
And what do we see contemporarily? An increase in natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, and earthquakes has been noted in recent years. United Nations has declared a code red for humanity due to climate change with millions displaced by climate related disasters aligning with biblical descriptions of global turmoil. And within the last decade,
has dried up.
is nothing to scoff at. If the Bible prophesied that the Euphrates River will dry up and it did in fact dry up, that should be a wake-up call in and of itself. And again, the whole argument natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, sure, those have happened historically, but
Again, I want to point to the frequency in which they occur. And the code red for humanity, I mean, I don't remember there ever being a code red for humanity or something of that wording. So that also tells me that this type of stuff is urgent and it's real. It's happening in real time.
Segment three, technological advancements and global communication. Revelation 11, nine to 10 describes how the whole world will witness events simultaneously. scenario unimaginable in ancient times, but possible today. Revelation 13, 16 describes a universal demand for a mark of allegiance to the beast, affecting all people.
regardless of status or wealth.
What does modern life say about this? Number one, the rapid advancement of technology and the internet has made it possible for people worldwide to witness events in real time, fulfilling the prophecy of global awareness. Number two, microchip implants that let you pay with your hand. Elon Neuralink brain chip implant
to merge humans with machines.
segment four, the restoration of Israel. In Ezekiel 36 to 37, prophecies concerning the return of the Jewish people to their land. There was prophecies that were concerning the Jews returning to their land. And the establishment of the modern state of Israel
in 1948 and the ongoing conflicts in the region are often interpreted as the fulfillment of these prophecies.
So this prophecy came to pass literally Israel in 1948.
Segment 5, Moral Decline and Societal Shifts.
In second Timothy three, one to five, and you guys, this is probably the most relevant or the one that hits closest to home.
2 Timothy 3, 1 to 5 describes a time when people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of good, treacherous, rash, conceited,
lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
And what are we seeing in current day? Observers note a perceived decline in moral values with increasing secularism, ethical relativism, and societal shifts away from traditional biblical teachings. Here are some examples. Who are the unholy? Hollywood, for starters. Who are the lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God?
Well, it is rainbow month, right? This is pride month, so need I say more? But this group is known as LGBTQ. Abusive and without self-control, who might that be? And where are we seeing this globally? None other than Hamas. And disobedient to their parents.
The way we're seeing this is on more medical scale is that kids are are getting medical procedures without parental consent and I don't have to Spell that one out But it's it's closely related to LGBTQ. But yes kids are
willfully getting these medical procedures without even asking their parents and actually being encouraged not to ask their parents.
Prophecy number six, economic challenges and global instability.
biblically in Revelation 6, 5 to 6, it describes a time of economic hardship where necessities become scarce. In Isaiah chapter verse 19, it states that,
of His Majesty.
So what are we seeing? We are seeing global economic challenges, including inflation, supply chain disruptions, and the economic impacts
pandemic.
These things have led some to draw parallels with these prophecies.
and by the way, billionaires are investing in luxurious bunkers and hiring military in order to survive societal collapse.
For example, think that Mark Zuckerberg has invested in an island where executing these moves for himself.
and prophecy number seven, the rise of false prophets and deceptive teachings. In Matthew 24, 24,
for false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." So I actually did an episode on this. is episode and it's the I expose the false teacher.
Abdullah Hashim. And this is a clear example of what Matthew 24, 24 alludes to, and that's false messiahs and prophets appearing the end times. And so what's going on in modern day? So the proliferation of misinformation, cults, and deceptive teachings, often amplified by social media,
is seen by some as a fulfillment of this prophecy. And then of course, Abdullah episode 13, go and check it out if you haven't. He'll make statements like, he is the successor of Simon Peter, he is the successor of Jesus Christ. And it doesn't take a biblical scholar to realize that. If a man is coming the woodwork,
and he is leading this cult-like group conference and he is making statements like this, that should sounding off some alarm bells you. it would, it's only common sense that nobody
Nobody in their right mind says things like this unless they're a false messiah, false prophet, or a cult leader.
I thought about some honorable mentions. So in Matthew 24, 14, describes that the gospel of the kingdom will be heard by all nations. And historically and today, the gospel is reaching all the ends of the earth. And that much hand in hand believe prophecy.
Number three, advancements in global communication.
So of course, the AI, computers, these are all things that are making gospel be heard throughout the ends of the earth, right? So this is happening effortlessly, seamlessly. There are many streams of technology where the gospel is being heard around the world.
And then last honorable mention is found in Revelation 16.3.
and it describes the sea of blood phenomenon, referring to a body of water turning red. And this has recently been observed in Island, Iran, where heavy rains caused a beach and sea turn blood red. A river in Argentina, the
Serendai Canal near Buenos Aires also turned bright red causing concern among residents. And in February of 2025, Caspian Sea turns red. Nearly 300 dead seals washed up on the Caspian a couple months following. Is there a link between the Caspian Sea turning red and these 300 dead seals
washing up on the Caspian Sea coast? I think so. There has to be a connection between those two events.
So you guys, why do I share these prophecies with you? Well, that's a great question. So one, it's draw importance around the truth of the Bible. So if you're an atheist, if you're struggling with your faith,
Pay close attention to that are being fulfilled today.
These prophecies have been scientifically proven. They stand the test of time and they are clear evidence to the validity of the scriptures. And number two,
It's a call to action.
for the believers, for those who are strong in the faith. Now is the time to get serious about our about our theology. It's time to step in from the sidelines. We are not sideline Christians. We are bold Christians. We are Christians who know the truth. And it's time to take our belief seriously.
It's time to make disciples of all nations and it's time to spread the gospel and engage in Great Commission.
So in other
These are cues and warning do just that. And that's to be bold, to be confident in our faith and go and win souls for Christ, for the kingdom.
So I hope this list helps some of you. I know that not all of us are super keen on, prophecy. And I know it may even turn some off. ⁓ But I just hope that, you know, this brings a different perspective to our belief since these events are happening before our very eyes.
And really it's just a call to action. I'm not trying to scare anyone. I'm simply to encourage us to take our faith seriously, to be confident in our belief, to be bold with our words, and really to deeper into scripture. I know many Christians who don't even open their Bibles.
but I believe now is a good time to start. It feels like time's running out slowly but surely. So now's a good time and just read your scripture a few minutes a day, biblically literate and the rest will just flow from there. again, I just want to remind you guys this was inspired by
few key the interview Reed. That was episode 18. So go and check that out. But he made a clear distinction between prophecy and prophets.
And by the way, if anybody says a prophet, if they admit that, then put your hand on your wallet. Just like Tim Reed says. The prophets ended with John the Baptist, that doesn't mean that prophecy not real. So prophecy is definitely a thing. Go and check out episode 18.
Take heed to these words true the belief. your Bible.
Go in faith, in boldness, care of yourself, care of each other. I'll see you in the next one. I'm out.
