SPEAKER_01

We went up to the mountains today, and we saw a lot of cool things. We went by the reservoir and we went down to the ski resort and saw the cabins there and all that stuff.

SPEAKER_03

When we went to the mountains, we seen a lot of definitely a lot of nature. While we were up at East Fork, we seen a bald eagle and talked about our plans on what we could do to benefit the reservation. We picked sweetgrass.

SPEAKER_02

There was a couple sweet grass picking spots. We didn't get to pick out all of them, but we got to pick out one and then we saw like another one. It started raining on us when we were by the ski bowl.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, when we got back, uh Jay he took us to a council room and started teaching us some Korea and Chip Law. We learned all about it and planned what we're gonna do for the rest of the pre-apprentice program and stuff.

SPEAKER_03

We had a lot of plans for the pre-apprenticeship program, like hiking up Baldi, canoeing, and we are still taking in ideas on what we could do while we're here. Go to Great Falls and have her.

SPEAKER_02

What are we going for?

SPEAKER_03

Museums? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Charles M. Russell AMR. Um the first two weeks we were weaking working over at the Mio Center. Um last week we did that good road of life um training with Clayton Small. It was pretty nice. Got to meet, um got to meet some new people, got to socialize, learn a lot of new stuff.

SPEAKER_02

When we were in the mountains, we went to um what's it called? Ski bull. East Fork, East Fork, the ski bowl. We went and picked sweetgrass. We saw a bald eagle.

SPEAKER_01

We all picked sweetgrass for like the first time. Then we braided it and everything.

SPEAKER_02

Learned a lot of Cree, a little bit of Chippewa today. And this is going into our third week of work. So we finally started at our placements. We're working over in prevention. Um, we were at the Mayo Center for like the first two weeks. Last week we did a training, Good Road of Life, with Mr. Small. I don't even remember his first name.

SPEAKER_03

Doctor or Clayton Small.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Clayton Small.

SPEAKER_03

In the Good Road of Life, we all did a lot of socializing. We played a lot of games. It was pretty fun. I feel like the best part about the Good Road of Life uh was just being able to socialize with other people.

SPEAKER_02

There was lots of socializing. Um Mr. Clayton Small gave me an Oscar. We got to act, got to socialize. Um the first week we had two women with us. Shaylene and Loria, I think their names were, but they came in and they talked to us and shared some of their own life experiences and then in the good road to life training. Um we learned a lot, and over the last couple weeks I got to socialize, learn a lot, meet a lot of new people. It's been a good experience so far. Are you gonna join us? Are you gonna comment on anything? Ivan.

SPEAKER_01
