Hi, I’m Javier Malave—a husband, father, creative, and follower of Christ. Married to my amazing wife Daisy for over 30 years, we've raised two incredible kids, Michele and Sam, in our lifelong home of New York City. I surrendered my life to Jesus at 17, growing up in a Pentecostal home where faith was a lifeline. Surviving Guillain-Barré Syndrome was a turning point, where God met me powerfully.
My podcast journey began with The Intellectual Sasquatch, exploring deep questions and faith. That led to The Faith Compass, a podcast focused on biblical teaching, and The Faithful Geek, blending faith and fandom. Now, The Compass Chronicles brings it all together—faith, pop culture, and real life.
I’ve also written devotionals, created music through Crossroads Collective Studios, and advocate for integrating faith with mental health.
