Over a year ago, I sat down with one of my long-time best friends Robert and discussed a wide variety of topics. From past memories to present day challenges, evolution, and a PSA; this is an episode you won't want to miss! Thank you Robert for always loving and accepting me for who I am and what I believe.
John 1:10 NLT He came into the very world he created, but the world didn't recognize him. He came to his own people, and even they rejected him.
John 1:14 NLT So the word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father's one and only son.
John 3:16 NLT "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
Following Jesus is so much more than a feeling. Following Jesus is a way of life; and believing in and following him will not only DRASTICALLTY change your life while on this beautiful planet created by our Father in heaven but will determine where you spend eternity. Pray for your friends, share the Gospel, and invite them to church! Don't assume someone else is going to. God gives your life meaning. He gives you a place. He gives you a purpose.
My favorite quotes from this episode:
"If you want to find God, it's love." -Robert Howell
"If you're trying to be a good person, be Christ like." -Robert Howell
"Most of the times when I wanted to get close to the Christian God, was because I saw others being the type of people that I think that that God would want them to be." -Robert Howell
As a Christian, you are a representative of Jesus Christ. People are watching us. People are listening to what we say. People are reading what we post on social media.
Romans 10:13-15 NLT For "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, "How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!"
