THE SAVIOR WALKS?

I speak unto you this day and I say when JESUS came to earth as a baby and grew under the care of Joseph and Mary, when the time for His earthly ministry came, He did not come in a chariot of six costly decorated horses. Nor did He wear expensive robes of costly fabric trimmed with costly jewels, nor a turban with real gold and silver trim.

He came simply clad, and walking everywhere He went. He did not worry about what He would wear, where He would sleep, and what He would eat. This is because He trusted Me as His Father to provide. In such a manner He showed His trust not in the things which torment the heathen, but in Me for He knew I would always provide such as He had need of. . . .

JESUS CHRIST THE LORD is the only Savior from sin and the power of the devil. He is God in the flesh -- the Only One who has come to die for you and me, to pay the penalty of our sins and empower us by His Holy Spirit to live a victorious life above sin! He can help you, and He will, if you just turn to Him. Turn from all known sin, turn to Jesus, pray for forgiveness for your sins and that God will fill you and baptize you in His Holy Spirit, and He will.
Trust God! Pray, read the Bible daily, and OBEY what God's Spirit shows you. It is a lifelong journey in being made more and more like Jesus, so don't be discouraged and NEVER quit. REPENT daily, love Jesus, and do the best you can to serve Him each day. He will ALWAYS be with you to help you as you fight the battle to choose what is right and keep yourself in Him!

THE SAVIOR WALKS?

Nor did He wear expensive robes of costly fabric trimmed with costly jewels, nor a turban with real gold and silver trim.

He came simply clad, and walking everywhere He went. He did not worry about what He would wear, where He would sleep, and what He would eat. This is because He trusted Me as His Father to provide. In such a manner He showed His trust not in the things which torment the heathen, but in Me for He knew I would always provide such as He had need of.

Because of His humble demeanor many rejected Him because they believed if He was really the Messiah, He would have come in extravagance not in simple humility. The proud Jews who held Him in contempt were those who were bound by pride. Little did they understand that He came to bring them the very Message they needed to hear.

However they did not want to hear the Truth for they wanted to believe in lies and be trusting in their own understanding and the pretentious religious leaders who were the priests in the temple. The people and the priests actually did not want the Light which the Truth brought because all were guilty of deeds of evil. Of course they preferred the darkness because their deeds were evil and they imagined they got by. However such was imagination because they did not “get by” instead they became more and more murderous towards JESUS for He came bringing The Way, the Truth, and the Light. They hated Me before they hated Him and such was their reason for plotting to murder Him because He came from Me.

They scorned and mocked everything He said and even went so far as to say that He was the devil because He cast out demons. Yet, He refuted their every accusation with My Word and that caused the enemies to grow more hateful because the people were listening to Him and agreeing. So what they foresaw was if He continued they would lose their positions of power over the people. Of course these priests were false, and they did not follow what they commanded the people to measure up to. Absolute hypocrites they loved to strut in the market places. In such public places, they exhibited their fine expensive robes and costly turbans. 

The people began to question why their temple priests could not produce the miracles of mercy which Jesus exhibited over and over. Many people no longer followed the priests, but turned to follow JESUS. Of course this kindled even greater rage and jealousy in these arrogant men, who took evil counsel against Him daily.

Of course Jesus already knew what they were plotting because He could easily read their thoughts and knew the evil intent of their hearts. He likewise knew their “secret” sins for nothing was hidden from Him. He told them straight out that they were of “their father the devil” and He was right. These priests were pretenders and hypocrites, whited sepulchers full of dead men’s bones. They were the seed of those who stoned the True Prophets because their ancestors likewise hated the Truth and many of the Prophets who came declaring the Truth.

They ranted repeatedly against JESUS and said He was the son of a whore, calling the Virgin birth of Jesus the act of sexual misconduct when she became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. Everything about Jesus they could possibly find to mutilate His character they accused Him of. Yet the

ones who followed Him grew. These listened intently to what He had to say, as He openly exposed the evil workers who had encamped in the Temple and cared nothing for the people.

As Jesus walked among the common people, they saw Him exhibit compassion and miracles of mercy which none of the “religious leaders” would even dare to do because they had no power with Me. The behavior of Jesus was without spot or blemish for He was perfect and no true report found any fault in His character. 

The evil workers who made all of their false accusations against Him could do nothing except lie continually. While Jesus walked, they spoke of Him as a pauper making false claims to be My Son. Of course, they knew He was My Son, because if He was not, they would not have wanted Him dead. Foolish and wicked, they believed if they killed Him, that would kill the True Words likewise. What they failed to understand and ponder is that No One Can Kill the Words of Life for they come of Me.

When they teamed up with Judas, they finally had an “insider who was willing to betray Jesus.” He arranged the meeting where they would be able to take JESUS into captivity. He was to be paid thirty pieces of silver, had money turned Judas into the Betrayer or was it raging jealousy because of the recognition Jesus gained among the people? So the conspiracy accomplished and Jesus was taken to await the cruel death on the cross. He went to the Cross, died, the third day He rose from the dead! 

Because He is risen from the dead, the ones who followed Him likewise gained courage and took The Gospel to all the world! The WORD grew.
