Let's take a peek behind the scenes of how new services, like the Ultimate Plus Package, come to life. Welcome back everyone. I'm Sophia Yvette, co-host slash producer. Back in the studio with Kevin Dalton. Kevin, how's it going?

Fine. Thank you very much, Sophia.

Great, happy to hear it. So, kevin, what is the process behind developing new wash packages and services, such as the Ultimate Plus package?

Speaker 3:

Well, thank you for asking. Our last package, as you mentioned, the Unlimited, the Ultimate Plus we developed almost two years ago. That was brought about by new product technologies over the last five years, developed for car washes and the ceramic graphene product became available for us to use for our customers that maybe had their cars previously ceramic filmed or wrapped, and even for the everyday customer. So because this was an expensive product, we had to develop some additional inexpensive, value-added services we could add to this wash package and we think we developed a really nice one. The ceramic graphene product is locally distributed and even made in the Lake Park Florida area, and it's a high quality product. It's more of a booster for those customers that have been had cars previously ceramic and it's a ceramic graphene product that now, in the last year, year and a half, almost every car wash has. So we hope we're the leader when it comes to this.

Speaker 2:

How about the customer feedback and industry trends? How do those factors shape new services?

Speaker 3:

Well, the customers love the product Industry trends in terms of product technology. You know there are some new and exciting products coming down the line and I think we should have some new, really exciting products and a new wash package possibly available in about two years. And again, we hope to be the industry leader in that with our six locations For industry trends. Outside of that, the pace seems to be set on how fast they can build the new automated car wash systems. They're called express washes. Basically, you go in, you go through a tunnel which you may damage your car or take the wax off because they use an extreme soap that's very aggressive, and then your car goes out and you drive it out and you finish the car on your own, free vacuums or whatever.

Speaker 3:

And of course in South Florida it doesn't sit too well because we have about eight years of 88 degrees or higher and very steamy weather. So our niche is the full service model and we do feel in our neighborhoods that it's here to stay. But, like I said, the trends seem to be going a different way for the entire country. It has opened up the opportunity for a lot of people to get their cars washed that otherwise wouldn't have gotten their cars washed. But again, we're on pace to actually wash a record number of cars this year and we're only into the first few days of February, so it's going very well.

Speaker 2:

That's amazing. And so, Kevin, what sets ultimately the Ultimate Plus package apart from other offerings?

Speaker 3:

When developing that wash again, we had to create some additional value-added items to make sure the customer felt they weren't paying exclusively for the graphene ceramic product that we were applying to the car. So we added some value-added items, for example, the interior shine on the doors, the light bug removal on the vehicle because we do have some severe bug seasons in Florida Rain X on the windshields just some value added to make sure the customer knew they were getting the bang for their buck on this wash.

And so any final words you have or funny stories you have when you were developing the new wash packages and services.

Speaker 3:

Sure A funny story was the gentleman that we were trying out his product. It was a different product, a different company than the one we selected. He drove over from Fort Myers, brought his product. Selected. He drove over from Fort Myers, brought his product. We put it on my car and after looking at it for a few minutes it left streakiness and just an awful film in the car and it dawned on me to ask him did you bring the right product? And he hadn't. He brought a completely different product that wasn't even supposed to be used on cars. Thank gosh we were able to get it off my car quickly. He had driven over two hours. He came over with the wrong product and wasted half of our day, but all's well that ends well. We chose a different company anyways that had a much better product, certainly quite a bit more expensive, but it was such a much, much better product.
