The Jammies - Music Discovery
The Jammies is part music journal, part discovery guide. It’s a space to highlight indie artists, dive into catalogs of music, and help you find something new to jam to.
Each episode dives into fresh indie finds, newfound artists, and tips for uncovering great music. Whether you’re looking to expand your playlists or just want to discover some good tunes, The Jammies is here to be a go-to music discovery resource.
There’s more music out there than any one person could ever hear in a lifetime. The Jammies is simply an attempt to explore a small corner of it and bring the best songs to the surface. While the focus is on indie rock and indie folk, expect a healthy shuffle of other genres too.
Jammies Playlists: Every episode comes with its own curated Spotify playlist so you can easily explore all the songs mentioned.

The 4411, Magenta Wave, half-alive, almost monday, and more! The Music that Started My 2026
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Episode 16 is packed after a very busy month in music!
The episode highlights The 4411, the first new band of the year that fully clicked, along with a deep dive into half-alive and why their upbeat, spirit-lifting sound has been in heavy rotation.
I also talk about the magic with the artist Brookside, the small but memorable catalog of Wendy Lane, and the biggest recommendation of the episode - Magenta Wave. Other features include Paper Driver, almost monday, and a handful of newer artists worth keeping an eye on.
On the release side, I cover Dogpark’s EP Corporate Pudding, Edgehill’s debut album Ode To The Greyhouse, plus a long list of standout singles from both returning favorites and new discoveries. The episode wraps with upcoming releases on the radar.
P.S. Also checkout two songs I forgot to mention by Brookside: Sirens Pt. I and Sirens Pt. II.
