Timberwolves Unleashed

Todd Jordan - UNBC Men's Basketball

Dan O'Connor (UNBC Sports Information and Marketing Coordinator) Season 1 Episode 2

Now in his 15th season as the head coach of the UNBC Timberwolves Men's Basketball team, Todd Jordan (Prince George, B.C.) is the longest tenured head coach at UNBC. His longevity can be attributed to an incredible work-ethic, a deep passion for basketball, a genuine appreciation for his hometown of Prince George and alma mater, and his ability to evolve and adapt with the times.

In Episode 2, Todd Jordan shares his story of:

- Growing up locally, and developing a passion for basketball in grade school.
- Playing University ball at UNBC, and suffering a knee injury that ultimately shifted his focus towards coaching.
- Adapting and evolving in order to relate to today's athlete, while also dealing with the benefits (and occasional struggles) of recruiting athletes to the smallest school in the Canada West Conference.
- Leading the 2023-24 Timberwolves to a Bronze Medal finish in the 2024 Canada West playoffs.

Driven, loyal, and well-prepared, Todd Jordan's legacy at UNBC is an important one. Hear his story right now on the "Timberwolves Unleashed" podcast.
