Timberwolves Unleashed
Amrit Manak - UNBC Women's Basketball
During her three-year tenure at UNBC so far, Amrit Manak has become part of the glue that holds her team together.
Not only is the guard from Toronto one of the best three-point shooters ever in the history of the Women's Basketball program, but she's also captured Academic All-Canadian honours on multiple occasions and has worked tirelessly over the years to become a revered teammate in the eyes of veterans, first-years and coaches alike.
In Episode 4 of "Timberwolves Unleashed" Amrit Manak shares her story of:
- Committing to UNBC thanks to Sergey Schepotkin's honest approach, and the challenge/opportunity that came with leaving her home province of Ontario.
- Batting through some highs and lows mentally, especially during her first season, and the teammates who helped her come out on the other side stronger than ever.
- Her shooting mentality. What's happening in her mind when things are going well? What's happening when things just aren't falling?
- So much more.
After hearing this conversation with Amrit Manak, you'll become even more convinced that UNBC has a knack for attracting not just elite athletes, but elite, first-class people. Hear her story right here on Episode 4 of "Timberwolves Unleashed."
