There's so much more than meets the eye when it comes to Hagon Kim's soccer story.
On the surface it's easy to see Kim as a standout soccer player, leader, and student ambassador. But only after you dive in to Episode 5 of "Timberwolves Unleashed" will you truly understand his story.
On two separate occasions in his younger years, Kim walked away from soccer. The sport had left a sour, unforgivable taste in his mouth. But after moving to Canada to finish out high school, it was the sport of soccer that came to his rescue. It allowed him to learn English, make friends, and helped create a new path that ultimately led him to the backline of the UNBC Timberwolves.
