Sarah Kuklisin - UNBC Women's Basketball
Sarah Kuklisin's time at UNBC is sadly winding down.
But as the Calgary, AB product begins to think about the next chapter of her life, she can hold her head high knowing that she's made an incredible impact on this place and the UNBC Women's Basketball program.
On the court, her basketball journey at UNBC featured memorable games and moments that she'll take with her forever. Unfortunately she also had to deal with injuries that sidelined her for lengthy periods of time, including the entire 2023-2024 Canada West regular season.
But while physically recovering from injury, and while still maintaining grades worthy of Academic All-Canadian honours, Sarah Kuklisin decided to use her 'down time' to start a business. The business is called ITFITS4HER and has the potential to quite literally change the game for female athletes.
In Episode 9 of "Timberwolves Unleashed" Sarah Kuklisin shares her story of basketball and life at UNBC, and how an unfortunate injury in 2023 helped shift her focus to an exciting, important entrepreneurial pursuit.
