We do this by finding amazing nonprofit and social impact organizations and their leaders, we share their stories, their triumphs, and their struggles in this dynamic, complex, and competitive space. By doing this, we hope to,
· Showcase how the work of these amazing leaders and their organizations is impacting and changing their communities.
· Second, Inspire a new generation of nonprofit and social impact professionals determined to create an even better world.
· Third, inform the sector of new and emerging practices from nonprofits and social impact practices in Africa. And,
· Make them findable so that they can be fundable.
The Impact Compass
Episode 2: Impact Measurement with Charles Warria - Part 1
Three core questions in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and by extension Impact Measurement are,
- Are the interventions doing the right thing?
- Are they doing it right?
- Are they making a difference?
Charles Warria is a seasoned expert in impact measurement. In this episode, Charles takes us on a journey in M&E practice that saw him rise from early career as a data officer to leading social impact organizations in the region. Charles is a resource and go-to for young professionals who want to understand this field of practice and develop in their careers, and for the industry to develop systems to deepen positive impact on people. Part one of the Episode lays the foundation for Impact measurement and how it is applied in the sector. In the second part, we shift to leadership and how experience in Impact measurement can position individuals to play strategic roles in the sector.
