Today we discussed the prayer service given by Marriann Budde from the Episcopal Diocese of Washington and how we, as Christian, feel about her comments. Immigration and refugee resettlement are multifaceted, complex issues that deserve our full contemplation. But that doesn’t change that her comments and President Trump’s reaction were in poor taste. Lastly, we discussed our thoughts on the Trump administration’s pause on funding for refugee organizations. There is a lot to unpack here. Join us for this interesting talk!
