In today's episode, we're talking about my three favorite apps for content repurposing. Now I have to tell you, in putting this specific podcast together, before I ever thought about hitting record, I thought about content distribution, and so in our content funnels challenge that we have going on right now, you can join us for free. Link is in the description. I thought about the repurposing of each of these episodes, and so I'm going to run you through very quickly the three apps that my VA uses in order to do the content repurposing, and so I think that this is going to help a lot of agents. One of my biggest takeaways in this journey has been how effective it is to be able to just record audio and then use that to repurpose for a bunch of different types of content. So even if you're not necessarily wanting to use video, or you want to create more content but just don't feel like you have the patience to sit down and write it out, you can also record audio. So, with that in mind, my first favorite app for content repurposing is called Descript, and this app is my favorite because you can edit the audio or edit video by transcript. So basically, you upload the video. I'm recording this in Descript so you can record or upload the audio and then it basically takes the transcript and when you delete words from the transcripts, it deletes it from the audio or the video. Additionally, they also have this tool called Underlord which is a very interesting name that you can use AI to help you with the editing. So things like taking out all of the filler words, taking out all the unnecessary pauses and also just overall editing for clarity. So when you kind of go off on a tangent or whatever that is, it's going to clip out most of it, and so I would say, from an editing perspective, descript is probably the easiest to use. There is a bit of a learning curve, but it is definitely worth it once you get the hang of it. There's a bunch of other features in there, too that I haven't even scratched the surface on, but I do love it for editing audio and video. I do the same for my reels and everything like that.
Speaker 0:The second app that I'm really loving is called Opus Clip, and that is where you can upload a video. It's going to use AI to create the clips from the video, and it's also going to add the formatted captions and all that fun stuff. I typically edit first in Descript and then upload to Opus Clip and that process takes just a couple minutes and so you're going to find from long form it's going to create those really, really awesome clips. I don't recommend uploading unedited video into Opus Clip because then it doesn't necessarily clip out all of the extra fluff. So typically edit first in Descript and then upload to Opus Clip for the formatting and the clips. I also use Opus Clip even when it's not necessarily to create the clips. So, for example, if I'm recording a reel or something like that, it's already, let's say, 30, 45, 60 seconds, I still upload it to Opus Clip so that it adds the captions.
Speaker 0:And app number three that I don't really see people talking about is called Cast Magic. It's super awesome for being able to create written content for the repurposing right. So think about Descript. You can use for long form, short form or audio. Opus Clip is to find the video clips.
Speaker 0:Cast magic you actually can create your own prompts for different types of content and then we use it to create the emails, the Facebook group posts, the carousels. All of the written content that comes from each episode gets sort of drafted in cast magic and then my VA takes that and does the distribution, and so that's kind of our workflow here. I love all three of these apps. None of them happen in Orbit, but you can schedule all your content through Orbit and in our content funnels challenge there's a bonus that comes along with it that is going to show you exactly how to use each of these apps. We give you the prompts, all that fun stuff. So feel free to join us in the challenge. Like I said, it's free and that's going on right now, so we will drop the link for each of the apps, as well as the challenge down in the description, as always. If you have not already, please join the agent Facebook group and join in on our daily discussion. I'll see you in the next episode.
