Ever had one of those aha moments where you realize a small tweak could revolutionize how you work? That was me this morning, pondering the future of real estate technology. Picture a world where updating your database is as simple as sending a text. Intrigued? I was.

On my journey as a real estate coach, I've been experimenting with the latest in AI tech and discovering how these advancements can streamline processes for agents. It’s all about finding ways to minimize the time spent on administrative tasks, allowing for more focus on connecting with clients. It’s an exciting time as we transition from traditional systems to AI-driven solutions that are both smart and user-friendly.

In today's episode, we're exploring how AI agents, powered by ChatGPT, could soon be your new best friend. Imagine whispering your updates to your CRM via WhatsApp and watching it work magic behind the scenes—scheduling, emailing, and even adding follow-up reminders. This isn't science fiction; it’s just around the corner!

Alexa Rosario:

You guys. I just went on a probably five day binge of an insane amount of content, learning how to use like what's called AI agents, which is outside of chat GPT but powered by chat GPT, right, so think of this as like a zap on steroids. It crosses over into, like software development and all these other things. I'm not going to get super technical. What I want to share with you today, though, is that I believe that the future that is probably only, let's say, three to six months away that we're going to start seeing is the ability to interact and update your database through text. So one of the things that a lot of our agents have really struggled with in terms of, like managing their database and doing all the administrative work is having to log in, having to go find the contact and do all the things right, and so our agents end up being like okay, well, let me hire a VA, but then the VAs that they hire, they are not trained properly, they don't have all the resources, they don't think the way that you do, and so there's all these training challenges, and agents don't want to slow down to have to train that VA. They want to be able to move faster with a virtual assistant that already knows what to do, and so I believe that the future is going to be communicating with your AI VA through text message whether that's through like a Slack or regular text or WhatsApp or whatever and being able to update your database.

Alexa Rosario:

Now, ai agents are not just there to give you information, but they can actually trigger actions in the background. So things like drafting emails, scheduling appointments on your calendar, reaching out to people, like doing all these random things, and so I think about this in terms of being able to say like hey, I just had a meeting with John Smith. He has three kids, a dog. They're going to Croatia in June, add a note in my CRM, create a task to follow up in March and send a handwritten note right. And so being able to do things where it's going to draft all of that, right. And so even being able to say, okay, yes, I approve the email, send that out. Yes, I approve the handwritten note, send that out right.

Alexa Rosario:

So being able to do that level of automation, I truly believe, is the future. That is not that far off, but I think that we're going to start to see that agents who resist technology are going to have to move so much slower than the agents who are embracing technology. So the way that I think about this, in terms of kind of our roadmap and the way that we're developing, is focusing on using Orbit as sort of the core platform that everything operates off of, but then our funnels being kind of the front facing of your business, right? So that's what the client gets to see all the way from the front end. They visit your site, they fill out the forms, all of those things. Then On the back end, our agents don't have to log in as often. Right, like, yes, you're still going to log into the system. If you have the AI draft an email newsletter for you, you're going to want to log in and look at that newsletter before it sends out.

Alexa Rosario:

When you're making your phone calls every day, right, like, you're going to want to log in and use it for that. You're going to want to still manage your inbox and respond to people inside of the app, but being able to do it in a way that is either a like what's called a deep link. So when the AI texts you back hey, call this person you just tap on the thing and it opens the contact in the app and it just you just dial directly through there, rather than having to go and log in and then find the contact and then dial and so on and so forth. Like we're going to see that this is is gonna be the time where agents who are not embracing technology are gonna fall so far behind and they literally will not be able to catch up, and so I am 100% committed to building a platform that empowers solo agents and really highly leveraged small teams who want to be really effective with their communication. They wanna be that high tech, high touch, right, and the high tech part of it should not feel like high tech, right. That is the future of technology.

Alexa Rosario:

Just like when you talk to your Alexa which it was my name first, so or when you talk to Siri, or when you talk to you know whatever, when you interact with AI, being able to have a texting conversation, where there's a lot of advanced technology that's happening on the back end, but you don't need to be the one to know how to do that, and so, ideally, what we want to build up to is the fact that we can give an agent an account in orbit that becomes kind of the brain of their business, but they're able to communicate with the brain from just their text messages and, like I said, that doesn't mean that they'll never have to log in. Maybe one day we'll get there, but for the time being, that it eliminates the need to do a lot of those things. Right, you can just communicate with it over text and you'll be able to add tags, trigger automations, send handwritten notes, schedule appointments, add people to follow up sequences, add notes, log calls, all of those things. Add people to follow-up sequences, add notes, log calls, all of those things. So you're no longer having to like spend all this administrative time going through and like managing your database. Right, like you wanna move faster, we wanna move faster with you, and so I'm like super excited about this.

Alexa Rosario:

I'm not even joking when I tell you that I've spent so much time, like literally on Saturday I spent, I think, 13 hours binging content about all the possibilities of this, and so now it's a matter of figuring out kind of the implementation of it. But that is really where we want to go with this right, like we've done a great job with the funnels and helping our agents with the front facing of their business, making sure that client onboarding is effective. We're doing our ad experiment with lead generation, and now it's how do we make it better and easier for the agents so that you guys and myself right, because a lot of this comes from my own frustration I hate logging in and having to do all the things in terms of, like, updating the CRM. When I finish a networking event, I want to be able to send a picture of the business cards to the AI, have it scanned and uploaded with a tag added, the automations triggered in the system, without me having to do everything right. So that is the future of this and I cannot wait until we can deliver this to you.

Alexa Rosario:

I have, like, so many other ideas of how we can implement this and I just wanted to share that with you because I think this, as, like technology, is going to get easier. It's going to be more integrated into the things we're already doing, rather than something that's separate. So that is the episode for today. I just was inspired to share that with you and I'm really excited about where this is going and I think that there's so much opportunity and, if you stick with us, we're going to be right on the front end of it and, as always, please make sure that you join our daily discussion in the Business Systems for.
