SPEAKER_00:

Hey beautiful. Welcome back to Beyond the Comfort Zone Podcast, where faith-giving women in business is a bold, faith-filled conversation, real talk, and disability strategies that need to build business and lifestyle cognitive. I'm your host, Kenny Mayor, your CEO of Bancy's sister in Christ time. I'm Nid CEO. In today's episode, SIS is a love note and wake-up call all at the same time. Because I know so many of us, yes, even me, have been taught to believe that our breakthrough comes from working harder, hustling more, doing all the things, tasting the algorithm, tasting perfection, honestly, tasting our own tails. But today, we're going to talk about the real overlook superpower that will set you apart and change our whole life and business. Consistency. Let's have a real conversation, sis. How many times have you heard these messages? If you're not grinding, you're not growing. Sleep is for the broke. Hustle harder if you want to win. Sleep is for the weak. The pressure is real and it's most definitely on. And for women, especially mom and faith-driven entrepreneurs, it can feel like you're either on 24-7 or you're falling behind. There was a time when I wore burnout like a badge of honor. I would work myself into the ground, serving clients, being super mom, showing up for everyone but myself. I thought hustling was the answer girl. But you know what it left me with? Exhaustion, resentment, and a business that felt like a heavy burden instead of a calling. What about you? You ever felt that way? Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you hustled, it was never enough? Have you ever looked at other women online and thought, how are you everywhere doing everything all at the same time while looking so put together? What am I missing? Girl, you ain't gonna lie. Let's look the stuff though. What if the breakthrough you're praying for isn't in doing more, but in doing less consistently? Let me say that again. Consistency is greater than hustle. Think about it. The most successful, fulfilled women you admire, they're not perfect and they're not grinding themselves to the bone. Based out their rhythm, their sweet spot where they show up steadily, intentionally, and most importantly, authentically. Since when I first found it out, I tried to post everywhere, be in everything, learn every strategy and saying yes to every opportunity. And I burnt out real fast. But when I started focusing on consistency over chaos, just showing up dealing, sharing my real story, posting even if it wasn't perfect, going live, even if my hair wasn't done. The game changed. Women started telling me, Tammy, I look forward to your post. I always know I'll find something encouraging on your feed. Your energy is real and consistent, and I trust you. And you know what? Trust is the currency of business. Consistency breeds trust. Trust open doors. Doors bring opportunities, impact, and income. Consistency doesn't mean never miss a day. It means you keep showing up even if imperfectly. Since God isn't calling you to be superwoman, he's calling you to be faithful. There's a scripture that changed my mindset about consistency. It says, Whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with what? Find it in Luke chapter 6, verse 10. Faithfulness in the small things unlock big things for us. Let's break it down. Here's five ways to build consistency that fits your real life. Number one, pick your one thing. Choose your platform. Show up on a schedule you can keep. For me, Facebook, sometimes Instagram. Number two, batch and schedule. Spend an hour a week batching your content, batching your captions, batching your emails or even reels. Use schedulers. Set it and then forget about it. Number three, set microcommitment. Promise yourself small daily or weekly actions. Like post once a week, one live every other week. Small but consistent, right? Number four, accountability and sisterhood. Tell a friend or join a group where you can check in weekly. Celebrate your wins together. And number five, grace over guilt. If you miss a day or drop the ball, it's okay. Perfection is not required. Persistency is there were weeks when I went live with a baby on my hip, her in a bonnet, no makeup on, feeling sick, but I still showed up. And guess what? That's what made me relatable, not perfect. The key is to not look for perfection, just be you. Your authentic, unapologetic you. Let's talk about the fruit when you're consistent. When you are consistent, you build trust, and people buy from you when they trust you. Your message gets clearer each and every time. And at those times, you sound more confident. You attract the right women or the right men to your community. But either way, you're attracting the audience you want. You create momentum that feels easy, not forced. You see God multiply your small, faithful seeds into real impact. See, sometimes we want to go viral, but what we really need is to go faithful. Your anointing isn't in your hustle, it's in your daily gift. Think about it, sis. A lot of us hustle and we grind each and every day, each and every week, or each and every month, hoping to hit that spark just to go viral. But if you have a small following, if you haven't quite reached the peak of your audience, then if you go viral, will you be able to contain it? Honestly, will you successfully be able to respond to the abundant amount of followers questions that you will receive each and every day? My guess is you won't, because when you go viral, it'll be a rush that feels sort of like ecstasy, but you'll be slammed into overwhelm. Why? Because you're not yet ready for the amount of responsibility that comes with going viral. So let's focus on building ourselves up to consistency, getting used to building our audience, getting used to responding, reaching out, engaging, that's what we should focus on. You're not behind, you're not lazy for resting, not even for taking a step back. You're not lazy for thinking that you should choose consistency over chaos. Speak this out loud, okay? I choose faithfulness over frenzy. I choose grace over grind. I choose consistency over comparison. Give yourself permission to grow, flow, and spin. But the world's timeline is not God's timeline. And we all know God's timing is perfect. Alright, Sue. Here's your chance for this week. I want you to first hit one visibility commitment. Maybe it's one post, one live, one email, or one DM. Two, tell someone about it. You can tell me, your beers bestie, a Facebook group, whatever. Number three, celebrate each time you follow through. It doesn't matter how big or small your win is. What matters is that you celebrate it. And number four, share it. Tag your girl at Tammy Mainon underscore official and use hashtag be unmuted so I can cheer you on and share you with my family of sisters. Let us pray. Dear God, thank you so much for the woman listening right now. Please remind her that her breakthrough isn't in her husband, but in her faithfulness. Lord, help her see her consistency as holy ground. Give her grace when she falls and joy for her journey. Let her know you see her. You're proud of her, and her seeds will reap a harvest in good season. This I pray in Jesus' name. Amen. Since this episode blessed you, let me know. Screenshot it, share your win, and tag me.
