Selling With Heart: How To Speak About Price, Value, And Offers On Camera

Ever freeze the second you say, “Here’s my price”? Let’s change that. We dive into the real reason money talk feels sticky on camera and show how selling can be the most honest form of service. I share the mindset foundations that keep your voice steady, the simple scripts that make your offer sound natural, and the courage-building routine that helps you stop hiding and start inviting.

We start by untangling price from identity, so one “too expensive” doesn’t become a verdict on your worth. From there, I walk through three anchors that make sales feel clean: I’m not begging, I’m building; I sell with integrity; my voice deserves to make money. These beliefs shift your focus from “Will they judge me?” to “What do they need to decide?” and that’s where clarity lives. You’ll learn how to present who it’s for, what it does, and what it costs without rushing, mumbling, or shrinking.

Then we get practical. I give you word-for-word prompts to introduce your offer, state the investment with calm authority, and land a clear call to action. We talk about practicing out loud, keeping notes visible while recording, and avoiding the nervous habits that undercut confidence. I also name the fear behind the fear—worry about what people will think—and reframe it around the folks who are actively waiting for a solution like yours. Motivation is nice, but a direct path to work together is generous.

To lock it in, I issue a simple weekly challenge: record one piece of content that shares your story, the problem you solve, and a direct invitation to your paid offer. Post it without a pre-apology or last-minute discount. Confidence isn’t born; it’s built, rep by rep. If this helped you feel bolder about selling, share it with a business bestie, DM me “I recorded my sales video,” and grab the free visibility checklist in the show notes. SPEAKER_00:

Hey sis, welcome back to the Unmuted CEO Podcast. I'm your host, Tammy, your confidence and visibility coach for the mom who is building a business between school runs, snack breaks, and mom. Can you? Right. Today we're diving into a topic that makes a lot of y'all want to hire in the drafts. Talking about money on camera. You're cool with encouraging, educating, sharing tips. But the minute it's time to say, here's my offer, here's the price, here's how to work with me. You get quiet. You rush. You mumble. You change the subject. You hit delete, sis. We're not doing that anymore. This episode is your permission slip to sell with confidence without feeling sleazy, pushy, or fake. Let's be honest, sis. You can talk all day about helping people. But when you add a price tag, there's a story attached. Maybe you're thinking, who am I to charge that? What if they think I'm greedy? What if nobody buys? A lot of us were taught, don't talk about money, be humble, don't brag about what you offer. So now, as a CEO, you're trying to promote a business with a mindset wired to stay small and quiet. But here's the truth. Sales is just service with a clear invitation. If God gave you this assignment, why would you hide the very thing that helps people get the full transformation? One of the biggest mindset shifts you have to make is this your price is not your identity. If someone says, that's too expensive, I can't afford that right now, they're not saying you're not valuable, you're not worthy. They're simply saying this offer doesn't fit my current situation. When you detach your identity from your pricing, you can talk about your offer clearly. Share the transformation with confidence. Let's walk through three mindset shifts that will help you talk money confidently on camera. One, I'm not begging, I'm building. You're not begging people to buy. You're building a solution, a legacy, a way out for somebody who's stuck. Two, I sell with integrity. You're not tricking anyone. You're being clear about who it's for, what it does, what it costs. That's not manipulation, that's clarity. Three, my voice deserves to make money. If you can use your voice to encourage for free, you can use your voice to invite people into a deeper paid transformation. Let's make this super practical. Here are some on-camera script prompts you can literally feel for introducing your offer. Sis, if this episode hit home for you and you're ready to stop pain point and finally desired result, I created offer name just for you. You get where I'm going with this? Now, let's go to the next one. For talking about price without shrinking. The investment for this experience is price. You're not just paying for information, you're investing in desired transformation. The next for a clear, bold call to action. If you know this is for you, don't sit on it. Tap the link in my bio, show notes, and apply today. Join us inside. Practice these out loud until they feel natural. Put them in your notes. Keep them pulled up when you record. Now let's talk about the fear behind the fear. What will people think? Here's the reframe. Some people will scroll past, some people will think it's not for them. But the people you're called to, they're waiting for you to be clear. Imagine someone praying for the exact solution you offer. And you recorded 10 motivational reels, but never once mentioned how they could work with you. That's not humility. That's hiding. So here's your challenge, sis. This week, I want you to record one piece of content that includes your story, the problem you solve, a clear invitation to your paid offer, and post it. Don't overthink it. Don't pre-apologize. Don't discount admits in it. Say it clearly. Watch it back and remind yourself confidence isn't born. It's built. Every time you talk about your offer, you're building that muscle. If this episode helps you feel a little bolder about selling, I want you to share it with one business bestie. Or drop me a DM on Instagram and tell me, Tammy, I recorded my sales video. And if you're ready to practice this in a community with coaching and feedback, join us inside on Muted and Scene, where we don't just hype you up. We help you show up. Alright, sis. Remember, you're not a walk-in discount. You're the CEO. And there is no mute button on your money message. I'll see you in the next episode. Thank you so much for spending this time with me today.
